And eight for Darrell Williams and seven for Darwin-Thompson. It's, I...

I don't want to just be a Clyde Edwards Aller Apologist. This is bad. I mean, if you played him, he may have helped contribute to you losing this weekend. But it's another game of can you really take anything from this? There was a beat down from the moment the game started against the New York Jets. You saw a lot of, like I said, Darrell Williams and Darwin Thompson combined for 15 snaps. They combined for eight touches.

You can take something from it, though. Yeah, a lot. Because if you have multiple games over the course of the year that you're trying not to take anything from, that's what you take from it. The possibility of winning the football game without your running backs exists every single week for this team. And because of that, can you make the transition on your head that Clyde-Rus DeLera is David Montgomery? That's what you have to do. And in a sense, look, if the team is winning big.

That should be good for the running back. Yeah, it should. This isn't a situation where he was averaging north of 20 opportunities a game prior to the last two weeks when Lev showed up and whatever opponents and things and game scripts happened, he is averaging 10 opportunities a game.

Who would you rather have rest of season? Oh, my goodness. Because you have the opportunity problem for Clyde Edwards Allaire. Here's the opportunities for David Montgomery, 18, 24, 19, 26 yesterday. David Montgomery has been a top 24 running back four consecutive weeks. But never been a running back one in that same stretch. Correct. He's a running back two every single week. So he's not a guy helping you win your matchup. He's a guy helping you not lose your matchup, which is it's an important

thing. You want those 10 to 15 fantasy points. But, you know, I do think that Clyde Edwards Aller at least has the opportunity, the option, the games that will help you win. If I had to pick one of those two, I would still stick with Clyde Edwards Aller. But I think it's a, I think that's a trade that if you're on the other side, you can go make in your league. If you offer it, you're probably going to be able to get that trade put through. Yeah, and you got to wonder what Lev

and further integrating Lev, do you believe they'll try to do that? You know, that's another question because he's only been there for two weeks. So David Montgomery, I mean, we are at the time of the season where we really do need to start looking at schedule. Tennessee, okay, whatever, but Minnesota, Green Bay, Detroit, Houston, Minnesota, Jacksonville. It's a nice finish. Like David Montgomery is set up for success, assuming that they can get some competent quarterback play. Yeah, he, um,

He's just getting so... There's nobody else. There's just nobody else. And on the flip side, Clyde Edwards Allaire has matchups against Tampa Bay, the Denver Broncos, and the Saints that all project to be difficult matchups the rest of the way. Interesting. Who would you rather have rest of season, Andy? I would rather have David Montgomery. And I don't like saying that, but it's true. Yeah. Sometimes you need somebody to just give you 10 to 15 points every week and not destroy you. Yeah. So if you're going to...

try and be actionable on this. I would, if you're going to try and go off for Clyde for David Montgomery, I'm, I think I'm with Andy. As crazy as this world is, try and get something more than just Montgomery. I agree. Try to get, try to get more, but I have, you have swayed me. I think based on the matchup, and look at the last, I mean, I'm looking at the last month. The last month, David Montgomery, he's been consistent, hasn't had those big games.

Clyde Edwards Allaire in that stretch of the last month was a top five running back once. Total points over the last four weeks. David Montgomery has more than Clyde Edwards Allaire. And you look forward and you say, well, now Lev is included. The matchups are worse. Yeah, I would take David Montgomery. And what hurts the most is the Clyde targets. I mean, target-wise, David Montgomery, five or more targets for five straight weeks. Yep. If you know you're going to get that, that's helpful. I'm going to make it more painful. Jonathan Taylor or David Montgomery.

I mean, Jonathan Taylor is just pain right now. He did get a goal line carry at the end, which is ironic because the way it feels right now is just torture, right? But if he gets in on that carry, the next carry went to Wilkins, and he got in. Him and Wilkins end up fantasy-wise basically the same if he gets in on that carry.

So I just want to know how much you do. We want to appropriately react as fantasy players. We have to make an adjustment about Clyde. We have to make an adjustment on Jonathan Taylor and this, you know, you thought when Mac went down, you were going to get this superstar. He is not easy. They're not a fit for the offense. He's not having big plays or he's banged up. We don't know how severe it is. I don't know how to adjust my opinion on Jonathan Taylor. But let me ask you, do you just plain get out right now with Baltimore, Tennessee Green Bay on the schedule?

If you can, if you can convert the big name and the hope and the opportunity into another player that is good, like, you know, David Montgomery is probably a sideways trade, but I think safe. Jonathan Taylor or Chris Carson? Chris Carson, even though he's injured. And I'm looking at some other options here. And I figure we're only bringing up David Montgomery because it's because of the fact that we don't like David Montgomery. And he's every week. Well, he's not fun to like.

Yeah. Exactly. But are there other backs that are maybe better that you could trade Clyde Edwards Aller or Jonathan Taylor. David Johnson, right? David Johnson has been a top 12 back the last two weeks before the buy. Now he's past the buy. Would you rather have David Johnson? I think I would. I think so. Yeah, I think so. Let me ask you another one. Okay. Would you rather have Chase Edmonds? No. I mean, I...

I know we don't know, and we have different, whether it's hopes or outlooks, I still believe when Kenyon Drake comes back, right or wrong, he's going to inherit his job. He's going to get his job back. And you might be very, very right about that. But let's say you give Edmonds two weeks of top five potential. What is that worth to your fantasy team? I mean, how do you evaluate a few weeks of burst play versus a bunch of weeks of 10 points? I wouldn't trade.

I wouldn't make that trade for Edmonds. Okay. Yeah, and I totally get that. I mean, it makes sense. We don't know whether Drake is back in a week. I mean, but it's going to be a really good week if Edmonds is alone. Yeah. Maybe I think you could, would you go for Miles Sanders? He's going into the buy, so you'll miss the week. Interesting. But when he comes out, he's. You're saying nobody's going to do that deal. Nobody's going to trade Miles Sanders away for Clyde. Well, because Miles Sanders is on by.
