Starts of the Week + Week 11 Breakdown, Upside & Pain - Fantasy Football Podcast for 11/19

And Damien Harris, this offense, the identity of this offense, it's the running game. So I'm going to go with Damian Harris this week, give you a confidence boost. And I'm doing a confidence boost here at the wide receiver position. I'm going with a little bit banged up, but the matchup is great. It's Tyler Lockett. It's bizarre again for a player like Tyler Lockett to find himself in the starts of the week. But in the last six games, you have only been happy with Tyler Lockett one time. Ouch.

And that was against Arizona. That's when he was the number one guy, ended up with that crazy huge game of 20 targets, 15 for 203 touchdowns. Patrick Peterson for the Arizona Cardinals has not been a shutdown corner. But in the couple of matchups he has had with D.K. Metcalfe, something about that matchup, Patrick Peterson can at least hang with him. I'm not saying you sit down D.K. Metcalfe.

But I like Tyler Lockett because Patrick Peterson can actually do things to slow down D.K. Metcalfe in the passing game. A wide receiver, I'm going with my guy from yester, Juju Smith Schuster. Oh, yeah. Over the last month, he's been the number one wide receiver for the Steelers. He's scored more fantasy points in Deontay more than Chase. He's had 42 targets in the last four games. And he is now finally back to the role that he's succeeded in.

when he had Antonio Brown, which is not the clear-cut number one option for opposing defenses to defend. You've got to be watching out for Deonti Johnson and Chase Claypool. Juju's been beating up on weaker opponents, and this is a weak opponent. I think Juju has a great game this week. I'm going to go with Terry McLaren as my wide receiver started the week. And he's hitting all my guys. Yeah, Terry McLaren, he's facing a Bengals defense that just gave up not one, not two.

Three top ten performances to three different Pittsburgh receivers last week. They're one of the worst against the pass. McLaren leads the NFL in yards after the catch, percentage of teams air yards. And like I said, no one's passed for more yards over the last two weeks than Alex Smith. He just finds a way. Terran finds a way to produce three straight top 20 weeks. So he's my start of the week. And at the tight end position. Oh, my. Oh, gosh. Oh, brother. Here we are. Can we get like a.

Brooks needs to like read a disclaimer before tight-in starts at the week. Like in the event that you do not have Travis Kelsey, you are exposing yourself to tremendous risk each and every week. But go on, Mike. I mean, like even the, even Darren Waller last week, terrible. Hawkinson, great match of last week. Oh, but he was terrible. So here we are at the tight end position. The guy I like a little bit more than the other guys this, this week. It is Jared Cook.

Going up against Atlanta, who's allowing the most points to the position. James likes throwing to the tight end. I think that Michael Thomas and Jared Cook will be the top targets for him. And a chance to score. So Jared Cook. All right. I'm going to go with, we talked about him earlier this episode. Dallas got her. He's been a little bit disappointing. Good air. He got back on the field and up to his full 93% snaps.

He got six targets. That's a, I mean, for a tight end, that's what you're looking for. You're looking for, you know, north of five targets and a guy that's used downfield. You can't ask for much more than that in the barfie tight end realm. What's the math translation between Ertz, or I'm sorry, Wince targets and regular targets? Is there a 75% of a regular target? I was just trying to.

So hopefully he can get up a little bit higher so that it can translate into five plus real targets. But Cleveland is not a super great matchup. They're not great against tight end. So I think Dallas Goddard, you've been disappointed. You should, in theory, have a okay week. Speaking of taking your shot, I'm going to bring somebody to the surface I wouldn't have expected at this point in the year. But I just got a feeling this week. Tyler Higby.

We know tight-in, hardest position to pick. No one's good except Kelsey. Tampa Bay has given up points to the tight-in position. I think there's opportunity here for Higby and Everett. Last week I watched closely. I had golf in a bunch of leagues. Took some deep shots to Higby. He actually snuck back into the top 12 at the position last week. And we've seen, I think I brought it up earlier in the week. McVeigh has transitioned his offense over the course of the year.

It's a dart throw, but Tampa's struggling against the tight-in position, and I think you could do a lot worse than Tyler Higby. So I'm looking for a touchdown from him this week and a big play, but hey, man, it's the tight-in position. It's the tight-in. All right, Jason, I'm going to go ahead and prepare myself. Jason Moore's, ironclad, locked and loaded, 100% guaranteed boom, boom, kicker of the week.

I know people think with the boom boom, oh, Jason, he panders. But I worked tirelessly to find the dolphins Jason T. Sanders. That's one of my favorites.
