Episode notes

The Halloween show replaces normal host introductions with player costumes, a real battered Cam Skattebo face mask and snack-based character acting.

Certainly in passing situation. Yeah, he's not necessarily the guy that would become a replacement for a starting running back. He's going to stay in his role probably. You know, Debo, it slowed way down since the injury. He started the year. Wide receiver 6, 22, 12, and 8. I like him again this week. I am happy with Debo this week. I think Debo back, healthy. Jaden Daniels there. No Terry McLaren. A decent over-under. Debo is going to be in most lineups. Just don't. Just catch it and don't let it go off your helmet for an interception. That's all I'm saying. Yeah, it's good advice, man. JSN. If you had the question, I saw this on Twitter this morning. If you had to choose JSN or Puka for the rest of the season, what's your choice? JSN. I think it's JSA. I worry less about injury. I also worry less about the competition with Adams for touchdown. JSN's going to get touched. Puka for whatever reason. They just, they can't figure that part out yet.

56:01 ↗

If I came to you before the season, Mike, and I said, we're going to go into week nine. And I can see the future you can't at this point in time. And I told you that Ken Walker is going to play every game, but he's going to have two top 24 performances for the season. What would your reaction have been? My reaction would be, oh, clearly he just keeps getting banged up the way he always has. But he's not missing games this time. No, he's not missing any. You would still assume he's hurt. Yes. He's hurt in a different way. He's hurt in a snap count way. And they keep winning. And this is, it's probably the most disheartening backfield in the league. I don't ever want to start either. For a team that is five and two, winning ballgame, scoring points with rushing touchdowns. Yeah. And I'm like, do I start? Charbs or Bill? Charbs. Charbs.

56:57 ↗

Yeah, I mean, this is. It's probably Charbs over Walker. Yeah. Yeah, it is. It is because if they get around the goal lines, they have so far shown that they definitely prefer charge. I don't have the metrics in front of me, but this is, it's not, it's not me making it up or being hyperbolic. Charbs is the most inefficient running back in football right now. They love that. And they're just like, they're like, dude. And it works for him. I guess it's weird. Yeah. They, uh, Yeah, I mean, Ken Walker is not efficient the last two starts, unfortunately, with lots of opportunities. What if they're looking for ball control, and they realize that if you have a 50-yard rushing touchdown. You score too fast? You score too fast. You need to keep your defense on the sideline, and Charbs is crushing it for that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, this is crazy. I'm just looking at the, like the last two games, when you say you don't want to start any one of them.

57:55 ↗

Ken Walker at a sweet 3.7 a carry and Charbs at a 3. 3 points. Oh man. Charbs is at 2.8 on the season. No, I know. I know. 3.7? He gets all those one-yarders. Yeah, that is true. Well, yeah, it takes them multiple times to do it. Yeah. So he averages 0.5 per touchdown run from the one-yard line. Here's the thing. I wish at this point that Charbonnet was just looking awesome. and dominating so it makes so i was like i could just take my loss it's exactly to move on and be like yeah that guy well that guy at sharps was better than i expected walker's a little worse than i expected but it it's not that it's new england yeah it's the more well-rounded true uh does everything running back is getting the snaps versus the more efficient runner period tory horton we brought him up you could throw them on the back of your bench if you want to give it a shot

58:56 ↗

You messing around with Zach Ertz anymore? I see him on every waiver while. Yeah, yeah, I would. I would play Zackertz. Like if you're the tight end whisper this year, then I would play if I would play Ertz then. Yeah, I think Zach Ertz is a good play here. You know, you look at recent history, fantasy points allowed. Seahawks give it up to tight ends. The same argument of no Terry McLaren and Jayden Daniels back for Debo applies for Ertz. He's a good start. Like if I was in the Joanne Johnson. Tier, I would definitely shift over to Zekkerz. Are we ready for a Monday night party? The Cardinals, two and five, Monday night football in Dallas. Dallas three, four and one. The over under is 54 and a half rounds up to Dallas minus two and a half at home. Nice. That's a pretty small margin there for for Dallas. No team in NFL history has ever scored and allowed more than 30 points per game in the same season. Oh, yet? Are the Cowboys doing that, Kyle?

59:53 ↗

Is that where we're at? Yes, right now they are. Okay. I think Kyle said that in such a quiet voice because he's inside a Halloween mask. Oh, I forgot. Yeah. He is inside of a Jamaican bobsled costume. The Cowboys, they are gracious and kind to opposing passing and running games. They don't, you know, they don't choose one over the other. This game should rule. Yeah, but the Cardinals can, they can say, we got you. We got you, Dallas. Cardinals are great. with the last two games with Jacoby Brissette. If only we can figure out what was different. Yeah, but I do have confidence that they will get it going. I mean, Kyler is my start of the week if he plays. It's the Dallas matchup. Bam night is my start of the week at running back. You will see maybe Michael Carter and DeMarcotta worked in. Marvin Harrison, Jr., people want to know, is he going to continue looking better? Who's the quarterback? Well, you know, to be fair, the two Jacobi Perce games, he was awful.

60:51 ↗

Yeah. Awful. 32 and 58 yards. I still think more capable of standing in the pocket. He did. I forgot he got hurt. I officially want Kyler to play. That's my official answer. For the weapons? For everything. Cardinals and weapons. I want Kyler to play. He's the better quarterback. He just is. He is. Jacoby Brissette has done this 10 million times. We know that he's had a couple solid games for. Every team, probably every team in the NFL has had two Jacobi starts. We know that Jacobi Myers is not a great quarterback. He's not going to go out there. He's not going to go out there and really elevate everyone. He's not, you know, a former Super Bowl champ like a Joe Flacco that's going to come in and, you know, light the offense on fire. He's Ryan Fitzpatrick in his later years. But the current games together. The current version of Kyler Murray is so.

61:45 ↗

bad and fearful, the play style of not being able to keep eyes down the field, of taking, as soon as any pressure comes, you're just laying down. You can't stand in the pocket and deliver deep throws. Now, there is, maybe there's no pressure coming from the Cowboys. And if Kyler is in there, that's where he shines. The two Kyler games before Berset came on, Marv was the wide receiver 23 and 16. He has not been inside the top 14 for the entire year. We need targets. We need downfield opportunities, please. Tray McBride has been the biggest beneficiary of Jacoby Brissette. He was the tight end two and three. He scored three times, and we know he's a dog. He ain't no meowsing. No, no, he is not. The Dallas side, I think, is quite easy. Dak is in. C.D. Lamb is in. George Pickens is in. Jrovante is no problem. It's just Jake Ferguson. Do you go? Yeah. We had the goose. The Cardinals.

62:42 ↗

over the last six weeks or 27th against the position. That was just a tough game against Denver. One target is stay in and help and block. Ferguson, all right. You should be definitely, I mean, there's no one on the waivers. You're picking up to play over Ferguson. If you had Gadsden though, would you play Gadsden or Fergie? Just to make it hard on you. I mean, the NBA Jam rules are rules. So I think you've got to stay in the flames with Gadsden there. But like Ertz, for example, who I just said, you could pick him up and start. I would play Ferguson. Some ominous quotes from some updates for you guys. An ominous quote from Ben Johnson, I think. He's talking about the groin injury for Swift says it's been chronic for a while now. We're doing our due diligence to make sure we're given the best version of Swift to help this team. For him and his individual success, we want to make sure we have them in a good spot for the whole season. To me, that at least says they're thinking about giving them a week off.

63:33 ↗

Zach Taylor on Joe Flacco status. It says it would be silly for me to commit to that on a Friday. Not silly. You could just tell us. Yeah. And then we have. Or be a little silly, Zach. Let's just be, we all allow it. Life would be a lot better if adults just allowed themselves to be silly. Dressed up like a cat. Yeah. The other quote from Ben Johnson, sometimes you have to protect a player from himself. Okay. So it could be a little Monong guy against Al Borland in our water match. Which I'm sure you would love to see. Bam Knight and Monongai. Yeah, baby. That's working out somehow. Bryce Young removed from the injury report. He'll be back for the Panthers. Okay. Oh, we still got to do this? Yeah, we do. Oh, boy. Fantasy face off, presented by prize picks. Well, Mike had been really hating this segment because he had been spinning that wheel consistently. Now who looks stupid.

64:35 ↗

All of us. I thought you're just going to zoom in on Mike's camera. I was going to say it's Zoom. Give me the camera. All of us. Yes. Meow. I ended up at the bottom of the group last week, so I get to spin the wheel. Wheel of shame. I hope the wheel says Indiana Jones. Because I got that one already. That would be incredible. Spin it. It's not going to. Uh, let's see. We got ice man MTV cringe rainy day. Oh, we got the bad jeweler. Oh, nice. What is this? I don't do. I don't even know, man. I found something fun for you. Um, oh, you got the jeweler glasses, a little magnifying glasses. You got to line those up with your eyes. So you're looking through that lens. Yeah. That's part of the. Yeah. You have to look through the lens. You're not allowed to look around them. Oh man.

65:35 ↗

That is weird. Now look up till there it is. There we go. Yes, I was trying to find a way to make his eyes like look humongous. We nailed it everybody. I can't wait to see. All right. The teeth are coming out during my picks for the week. We'll start at quarterback. Okay. Tyler Shuck. Oh, going, it's going dirty. I'm taking a half interception or something. No, I thought about that, but his has said it like higher. I'm taking 29.5 yards for as long as completion. I'm going less. Yeah, that makes sense. Okay. Mine is my green goblin this week. I set these on Wednesday. I got Aaron Rogers more than 199.5 passing yards. I'm going on Monday night football game. We just talked about Dak Prescott. I'm going six and a half.

66:34 ↗

rushing yards. I'm going to take more. He's coming off a game where he just had 31, 7 the week before, 28, a couple weeks ago. So six and a half on Monday night football. More than that. Yeah. Breaking news. It must be. That's for opportunity, everyone. Not because the guy is hurt. They just happen to be happening at the same time. Remandre. Romandre's out. Oh my goodness gracious. Here we go. This is just you're getting set up. You may. Maybe. Maybe. I said I'm excited and I'm scared. I can't wait for Monday. I can't wait for Monday. You're coming in here without pants. Yeah. Or with pants on your head. Like just devastating or awesome. My running back, uh, projection for the week. Kamani Vidal. I'm taking more than 9.5 receiving yards. I think he gets. Oh.

67:28 ↗

I think he gets all the work. He's, he's hit that. That's, I like that. I'm going to come out of Adelago, Tennessee, ending up with a catcher two. All right, I'm going Tajay Spears, who has looked really impressive. I think Tony Pollard is. How dirty are these teeth? I was wearing him for a little while. The Falcon was touching them. No, that's disgusting. But I'm taking, so Tajay Spears, he, uh, his projection is two and a half receptions. I think he does more than that. He's been really involved in the passing game. So I'll take him to have more than two and a half. I'm going with, I'm doing a piggyback here, taking Jason's start of the week. Travis E.TN. His projections at 57.5 rushing yards against Las Vegas. I'm taking the more. Nice. Okay. I'm going to go with another fun one here. I'm going to take that high over under game, the Buffalo, Kansas City game. I'm going Xavier worthy more than 3.5.

68:26 ↗

rushing yards. Oh, so he just needs that carry. He needs that end around. All right. But you can get the end around and then get stuffed on the next screen and ruin it. Yeah, that's fun. Interesting. I'm taking almond raw. I'm just going with the big dog. He's six and a half receptions. Divisional game against Minnesota. I told you I really think golf could go off this week. So I'm going to, I'm going to take almond raw there. I got Alec Pierce. Nasty slash dirty boy, 39.5 receiving yards is the projection. I will take the more. Okay. I'm going to go and finish this up with my green goblin, my tight-in position, more than three and a half receptions for Tucker crap. Oh, I thought it was for me. Oh, he did a bottle on his hat. Well, nice. My green goblin is at tight end.

69:26 ↗

It is Mr. Zacherts. He's sitting at two and a half receptions. Okay. I'll definitely go more than that. And I'm, I got Travis Kelsey 46.5 receiving yards. I'm going to believe. I'm going to believe that we're back. All right. Sort of. That was fantasy face off presented by prize picks. Another quick shout out to the guys at Green Gridiron for providing the Cam Scataboo helmet for today's exciting. It's full of glass. Yeah, I hope they knew we were going to do that. I'm not sure. I don't think they would allow us have it. They probably, yeah, they're pretty cool with that. That'll do it. Break that one. Oh, no. Oh, no. Well, that's one for YouTube, folks. Oh, my gosh. We'll catch you on Sunday. You got me good. Goodbye.
