Greg Olson? Well, you can re-injure. Yeah, I realize. But now he's better today than he was yesterday. Well, and that's just great news. That's just great news. Those of you counting on him for fantasy playoffs, you know, you'd like him to play. If you count on, although Tariq had had a pretty good game with Chase Daniel. So maybe Chase Daniel is just, he's going to go quick to Tariq because it always works. If you watch that game.

106 passagesI don't know how many wheel routes, Tariq Cohen. Oh, he is the wheel master. He's like, all right, last time I ran a wheel, this time I'm going to go with the wheel. And then their linebackers are like, I wonder what he's going to do. And they still... I wonder if he's going to run a wheel. They still keep putting linebackers on him. Wide receivers. How are you thinking about waiver wires this week heading into the playoffs versus, you know, our week-to-week show, we're always talking about kind of a plethora of guys you can take a chance on. At this point in the season, you're not looking for the...
you know, the staff. Yeah, you are not stashing. You are looking for immediate relief to your starting lineup. Okay. Or at least stashing handcuffs and defenses, things like that. So I'm looking at wide receivers that I can play immediately. Hopefully I don't need to, but it's Tuesday. So these are the guys we've got to talk about. One of the big names was the number one overall wide receiver from last week. Dante Pettis, San Francisco 49er whiteout.
to somebody that, to give you some context, you know, Matt Harmon, who does reception for the ultimate draft kit when talking about him earlier in the offseason. He talked about Pettus being extremely good after the catch. He made at least one defender miss on 42.9% of his in-space attempts. He mentioned before the season that could land him a role. He's shown that.
on his big play. You know, the ability to take the ball, kind of do what Beckham has done for years and what Beckham did as a rookie. Take the slant route and then do something special with the ball. He was out wide for 51 of 71 snaps, was on the field for 93% of snaps. That's where it's really interesting for Pettis because he had, coming into the season had been pegged as, okay, well, let's see what Pettis can do from the slot. Deal with Marquis Goodwin. Deal with Pierre Garsohn. Deal with Trent Taylor.
The fact that Pettus has been outside and having success is interesting, gets to take on Denver. The matchup is not fantastic. I mean, he would have avoided Chris Harris Jr. should have regardless, but now Chris Harris Jr. for the Broncos will not be playing. Pettis is interesting as a flex play. I don't know if I'm to the point where coming off of this game, I'm going to go, yeah, he's right into my starting two wide receivers, but.
He should receive targets. Yes. You know what? Five to eight targets? Yeah. So he has to make a play out of them, but he's going to be up in Denver. Is he on your short list this week? Yes. My list pretty much consists of three, maybe four guys. I want you to tell me their names. All right. All right. We'll get right into it that way. So, well.
I'm looking at this list. Maybe it's largest. So Dante Pettis is interesting. Cortland Sutton gets to take on the San Francisco 49ers. I mean, obviously, he's on the other side of the game. Finally came through. 4-4-85 with a touchdown. That's what we've been waiting for. People dropped him last week, I'm sure. And then they shook their head with him performing on the waiver wire to this 4-4-81. Right. And these guys were talking, Pettis is available in your league.
Cortland Sutton available at about 50%. The guy I would really want would be Chris Godwin, who is available in just over 50% of leagues, gets to take on the Saints. We don't know the status of Deshawn Jackson. I don't think he's going to play. I don't think he's going to play either. Deshaun Jackson, if at this point of the season, Deshaun Jackson has an out. You think he'll take it? I think he'll take it. Sorry, that's just what that's...
That's just my impression of the way he would handle the situation. And I mean, he legit has a hand injury. Wouldn't you rather have the wide receiver eight in fantasy football since week eight? Adam Humphreys? Pronounced with an unfreece. I mean, he's, he's sneaky good. I would just, if Deshaun Jackson is out, I'd rather have Chris God. If D. Jackson is in, I would rather have Adam Humphrey. Even in a full PPR? Yes. Even in a full PPR. So those two guys, 50% own pretty much, both of them.
I think some people picking up Humphreys last week on the... Yeah. Yeah, absolutely. Then the other ones that I wanted to highlight were Tyrell and Mike Williams from the Chargers because the match... No, I mean, you can shake your head. No, no, no, I'm just... I'm not shaking my head and, like, I disagree that you can think about them. I'm shaking my head because I'm thinking about, like, it's just kind of a coin flip on who's going to have a game. Sure. You play either one? But they're playing the Bengals. I know.
I know. That's why they're so interesting. I don't disagree. Tyrell's available in a ton of leagues. He only had one catch last week. Mike Williams, three catches, 52 yards. He's had a couple of decent weeks in a row. I lean Mike Williams direction. Other names that you could bring up. Look, John Ross, I mean, he's obviously going to be without AJ Green, but he hasn't done much. He scores touchdowns every once in a while. Anthony Miller.
Maybe if Mitchell Trubisky is back. Only one catch last week. Yeah, this is the only way I would think about Anthony Miller or even, even Taylor Gabriel. And lower on the tier, let's say, oh, all these guys are gone. I'm going to say it. I don't know what you're going to say. Antonio Callaway against the Carolina Panthers. Calloway just missed on one incredible touchdown.
Just missed on a second incredible touchdown because he fumbled the ball. But he gets to take on Carolina and they're very susceptible. Baker's playing fantastic football for Cleveland. So Calloway is also a sneaky play this one. Well, Higgins had a big game to speak to your Baker point. Higgins, Landry, Callaway.
All had big games, keeping Joku in your mind. If we're looking at running backs this week, and this is a position where yesterday on the Rising Stars, we brought up names like Jalen Samuels and Justin Jackson. If you don't know those names, that would be Pittsburgh running back Jail and Samuel. Or Pittsburgh tight end? Yeah. Is that still true? I want to do a Jalen Samuels tight end check day to day. Yeah, baby Josh, get on that. That's only Yahoo, though, right?
Yeah. Yes, that would be correct. And we brought up Justin Jackson. We'll talk about both of those guys in more depth, Jeff Wilson. We'll figure out Mike who your favorite running back pickups are. If you need to start a guy in week 14, maybe you're the Melvin Gordon owner and he sits again. We've got some big names for you to pick from. Before I turn to my bearded friend for his running back picks, I want to thank Harry's for sponsoring.

Running backs, the favorites, obviously if you are.
The Melvin Gordon owner. Yes. Maybe you handcuff with Echler. Let's say Gordon's out. Because I actually believe they've clinched the playoffs. You've got the big Chiefs game coming up, which could define, I mean, that could define a division too. Right. If he sits, are you scrambling as the Echler owner to go get Justin Jackson, blow your waiver, priority, spin your fab.
Or are you content to just take what Echler gives you because, you know, you're in a half point, you're in a full point, Echler should do enough. Obviously very disappointing, but you're playing Pittsburgh. Are you scrambling? Are you fighting to get both guys on your roster? No, if I have Echler, I believe I'm just going to be content for the week. Because while Justin Jackson looked like the far more impressive running back for Los Angeles.
He would look awesome, and then they would still put Echler right back on the field. We don't know if the charges will change up the game plan. Last week for Justin Jackson, he was 8 for 63 with a touchdown. I mean, that's super efficient, but he only played for 14 total snaps. Meanwhile, Echler was out there for 48 snaps. I want the opportunity, and I think that Echler will still be the primary go-to guy. However, if I have Echler, if I have Gordon and Echler, if Jeff Wilson.
If I'm able to get him, even against Denver, I know the matchup is awful and the Echler matchup is so delicious with the Bengals, I might lean towards going with the full-time volume of Jeff Wilson Jr. 15 carries eight receptions. I mean, that's the type of work that you need. How do you feel about those two guys heading into the week? I'd play Jeff Wilson Jr. Absolutely. I mean, even though it's Denver.
San Francisco running backs, they've averaged the third most rush yards in the league. We were talking about this. You know, Shanahan, it doesn't matter who you put back there. He's undefeated. And he finds the right backs to fit it, too. I mean, this guy's another gym, apparently. I heard Jim. Like gym. Like workout. Oh, okay. I mean, gym? Like truly, truly outrageous? Uh.
No, not like Jim the person, not like Jim where you work out. Yeah, Jim the rock star. Like a crystal. I keep hearing that, am I crazy over here? You're crazy or I'm crazy? I think Mike's crazy. Okay, I just keep hearing you say the same word over and over. Like, I'm no, I'm saying Jim, not Jim. Yeah, I'm saying Jim. Jim, not Jim. How do you, do you pronounce it different? Gem. Yes. Jim. It's definitely spelled with an E. Now I'm seeing J-E-M. Jam. Good. Or jam.
Doug Shat-in-hand. He's fantastic. He finds all the jams. All the jams. Him and Natsbury and Smokers. They're tied-hand in hand. Well, this is my Smuckers pick of the week. You hear that, Smuckers? We're coming for you, Smuggers. Whether you like it or not. Yes, Jeff Wilson, Jr. He can find jams, jims, whatever it is. Jeff Wilson, Jr. is a better start because you get full-time production. He played 72% of snaps last week. And he performed. It's not just...
Okay, you get the snaps. He played well, Denver, Seattle, Chicago, though, on the roster. Turning to Pittsburgh, I have the update. Brooks says, as of right now, Jayle and Samuels is still tight-indeligible. Oh, man. Do you read into the fact that Trey Edmonds? Yes, I do. The Steelers have activated running back Trey Edmonds from their practice squad. That's normally an indication that we're at least in somewhat doubt that James Connor is going to play. Jim's James, Jim's, Jim's, John's Connor.
James Connor. So what do you, I mean, Jalen Samuels is a cheat code right now. Yes. If you're in a Yahoo League, I would prioritize Jalen Samuels. I mean, honestly, I would. Just no matter what, I would get him in there. But I do believe that the activation of trademans, it's not positive for James Connor, at least for a week. If Connor's out, though, do you see Samuels being a workhorse or do you see Ridley working in? I mean.
