Jay fills in for absent Jason and takes over the graphics
With Jason explicitly gone until Monday, the full-size cardboard Jay Griz occupies his center microphone between Andy and Mike. The hosts call him a big fat bear, revise that to normal-sized grizzly, and Al's button triggers a roughly ten-second animated bear takeover repeatedly spelling 'I'M JAY GRIZ!' Jay never speaks.
moment
Jay absorbs absent Jason's clown punishment
The Parlay recap crowns Mike, puts Andy in a clown wig for the Zach Ertz miss, and identifies absent Jason's Jordan Mason touchdown miss. Published video leaves Jason's rainbow clown wig on cardboard Jay from opening through the finale, making the substitute physically serve the absent host's punishment while remaining silent.

Eight catches make the Bone Zone delicious
Mike admits screaming Bone Zone several times. Kenneth 'Ken Bone' Walker's ground game is disgusting, but eight receptions preserve an unexpectedly strong floor and make the fantasy result delicious.

Six employees run Minority Report for groins
Tucker Kraft's injury activates GroinIndex.com, a fictional six-employee site with no latency and the fastest groin reports in the known universe. Players allegedly consult it to learn their own groins hurt before feeling the injury, like Minority Report; Al is included in the rumor.
moment
Brooks audits the Road Warriors board
Four straight road favorites make the hosts suspicious enough to order Brooks to double-check every betting line while the office's weekly pick-against-the-spread pool is explained.

Falcon hides the parlay from Calvin Ridley
During Parlay Partay, a host relays Falcon's one-liner: the parlay is so good that it has to be hidden from Calvin Ridley. The hosts immediately approve it as funny.

BAD BOWL turns Mike into toilet-headed Devo
Last-place Mike spins the visible Wheel of Shame and lands on BAD BOWL. Dialogue identifies Falcon as handing over the toilet; direct frames show an off-screen arm pass the seat. Mike wears it around his neck with the lid upright behind his head, adds a bright-orange plunger hat, compares himself to Devo, hears 'Whip It,' and reports the costume is awkward, uncomfortable, and heavy before receiving a solo humiliation shot.

Episode notes
The produced intro still names the normal three hosts, but the live desk is Mike, Andy, and a full-size cardboard Jay Griz occupying absent Jason's center microphone. The hosts call him a big fat bear, correct that to normal-sized grizzly, and point out the rainbow clown wig he is still wearing. Published-frame review confirms the cutout and wig throughout the episode. Al audibly says he is trying to use his button sparingly, then direct video shows a roughly ten-second animated bear takeover spelling 'I'M JAY GRIZ!' across the screen; the desk complains about a cardboard bear breaking in, taking over the show, and having a graphic. Jason's absence is later explicit: he will be back Monday, while the hosts repeatedly memorialize him as if he were no longer with them. The Parlay Partay recap explains the costume: Mike earned the crown with Joe Burrow, Andy's Zach Ertz attempt missed, and absent Jason lost on Jordan Mason's anytime touchdown. Direct video later shows crowned Mike, clown-wigged Andy, and Jay still wearing Jason's clown wig—making the silent cardboard substitute absorb the absent host's visible punishment. Mike's Kenneth Walker devotion remains intense: an ugly rushing line is called delicious because Ken Bone Walker catches eight passes and preserves a fantasy floor. GroinIndex.com is said to employ six people, run with no latency, know injuries before players, and function like Minority Report; Al is addressed during the fiction. A run of road favorites makes the hosts order Brooks to double-check everything. Falcon supplies the exact Calvin Ridley parlay joke, 'This parlay is so good, we have to hide it from Calvin Ridley.' The physical finale is fully verified: Mike, last in Fantasy Faceoff, spins the visible Wheel of Shame; it lands on BAD BOWL. An off-screen arm passes him the toilet seat while dialogue identifies Falcon as the handoff source. Mike puts the seat around his neck, adds a bright-orange plunger hat, keeps the upright lid behind his head, says the costume is awkward, uncomfortable, and heavy, and receives a solo-camera humiliation. Sanitation claims are only banter—the video does not establish whether the seat came from the bathroom or was cleaned. Jay stays silently centered through the Wheel scene and receives no speaking part despite the takeover graphic.
But on the ground, it's going to be absolutely brutal against the Lions. So Rico Dowdle is a lower tiered option for me this week. The Lions are fifth against fantasy running backs right now. Are we going to get the game we've been wanting from CD Lamb? We talked about the fact that he was the wide receiver 20 at this point last year, went on the dynamic run that won championships. Is it time? We've had big time performances. from Godwin Cup, JASN in the slot against Detroit, and that's where CD lines up all the time. Yeah, I do think that we have a, we have a very strong chance of getting it, getting the Bada Boom. And we like Jalen Tolbert. Yep. So we like, we like the Cowboys. Yeah, I mean, we like almost, literally almost everybody in this game except for Doubtle. Golf, Gibbs, Montgomery, Alman Ra, LaPorte, and then Jameson Williams. Yep. This game is great. It is.
Just deliver. Some numbers for you on the defensive side. The lines have been good against the run, obviously. So like you said, that's the one sketchy play. There was a report that came out this morning. That was unbelievable. Zeke has been dumbfounded by his lack of opportunities in the offense, which, look, I'm willing to take the L of Dowdell ends up performing for more than a week. You know what I mean? It's been two weeks. I'm not counting one screen pass touchdown. That was what he did the previous week. Yeah, yeah. But, and like I said, if Dowdell's a thing, I'm fine with it. I'm cool with it. I'd love to have the clarity. If Zeke, if he's done, if he's gone, that's fine. But on film, last year, Zeke looked better than Dalton me. Okay. This year, not necessarily the case, but I don't think that there's a huge disparity. Genuinely, I don't. I think if you gave every carry you gave Dalel last week to Zeke, which they haven't been doing, they haven't been giving him a work.
I think you get a similar result. But a report came out today that Zeke says he's dumbfounded about the lack of touches. And Jerry Jones come out and said, quote, we're saving him. For what, Jerry? What are you saving him for? For the run, man, for the big run. For the big, and I do mean the run. They're saving him for one big run. Like the, the audacity of that statement of like, yeah, we're good. Hey. We're just, we're getting Rico Doudal warmed up who look from 40% of the attempts to the 60s. This is not a joke. 71%. I know it's not. No, I know. But I'm saying to, to be working a young player, relatively speaking, Duttle's kind of old. He's for, he's 26 for a guy getting his first shot. But to be like, hey, this, we're, we're working on him in the offense to get the team to jive together, to get a winning team.
And then when it comes time to, when it's crunch time, that we're just going to put in a brand new player who's really old and real dusty. Can I read the full? That's the situation. Let me read the full quote. Please do. Just so you have, you know, the context. Because he responded to the claim that Zeke was dumbfounded. And he said dumbfounded is a mischaracterization in a bad description of how he feels about things. Quote. We're saving him and we should be. Rico is an outstanding running back. He's always had the challenge because of his size of doing his blocking and protecting the quarterback. But his big problem has been what? He has had injuries over the course of his career. So it would be madness to depend on that. Zeke is out there and we want to protect him over this particular period of time. Okay. I mean, I don't think that's how. We're saving him and we should be. That's not.
So there you go. It's like the Mighty Ducks 2, switching goalies right at the very end. Yeah. But that was a movie, a fake movie. Yeah. Yeah. Well, they'll make a movie about Jerry. Yeah, probably. But yeah, hey, lions. Yep. The answer about the Detroit Lions is, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yep. Atlanta, three and two, Carolina, one and four. The games in Carolina, the Falcons are six point road favorites. Is this every road team so far a favorite? Draft King Sports McLean has Falcons minus 60 over under it is 47. Yeah, that's four straight. I got a spoiler for you, man. It doesn't stop. Are we sure about this? Brooks, I need to. Brooks, go double check everything. Let's keep this. Double check everything we got. When Michael Pittman's fine and Zeke's being held out for the big run. One big run. All right.
Falcons Panthers in Carolina, Falcons minus 6 over under 47. Start of the week, Kurt Cousins in this game, DK passing line, 251. So we're expecting big things from London to Mooney. Yeah. We should be. And Pitts? I'm not counting on it, but he should be okay in this game. Yeah. I mean, the 7 for 88, again, it was what Kirk Cousins had 500 plus yards. So it's, you can't just look at the raw production that Pitts had. There was only a 13.6% target share for Kyle Pitts, and that is, like, for a tight end start, it's okay, but that's not a, oh, we are so back. So London and Mooney are both locks? They are watched Mooney. He's been limited all week. Oh, I'm watching. With a knee injury. It's limited, so I would assume he plays. And if he plays, I'm okay starting him in this. He was last week's wide receiver three. Nice. Nine for 105 and two.
Bijon, you might need to, like this should be a smash situation. Carolina is atrocious against the run and everything else. Bijon should be awesome, but this could also be a game. I really think that Tyler Algier gets more work than you like. Bijon's hamstring, they take care of it. I mean, his snap count went from 82% for the first three weeks to 66% the last two weeks. Opportunities per game went down seven. So they could be managing a hamstring injury here. And Algiers should be able to run all over Carolina. Yeah. As a Hail Mary pivot at the running back position, I think Algiers, it's okay. On the other side of the football, Chuba Hubbard has been amazing. Not a great matchup for him, but they're going to lean on him in this one. Deonti Johnson, I go right back to him after the disappointment last week. And that's it.
On the Carolina side, those are the only two guys, Hubbard and Deonté that I want to mess with. I don't want to take another chance with Xavier Legat this week. I don't think it's that complicated on the Carolina side of the football. Yeah, I don't disagree. If you had Mooney, you had Deontay Johnson. How would you make that decision? Ooh, that is tough because they're both limited from practice. I think I probably go Mooney. I think I'm going to go Mooney there. That one's really close. Sunday night football, the Bengals take on the New York Giants in New York and the Bengals. DK. Sportsbook line, Bengals minus four. The overrunners, 47. Road Warriors this week. Apparently. That's like, that is when we, so we in the, in the office, we do a pool, you know, of, go go pick. Yeah, the weekly picks. Just weekly picks. Go pick against the spread. You know, just have a good time. And whenever.
I'm done and I'm heavy on the road favorites. I go, oh, this is going to end poorly. 100%. This week, though, they are the heavy favorites. Just got word that Zach Moss and Chase Brown will both play in this game. Okay. The Giants defense is not a pushover. This is a good defense. This is a top half defense. And they've had some surprising performances. I mean, they just knocked off and slowed down the Seattle offense last week. Right? So. Does that impact anything? Probably not. It might impact whether you feel confident with two semi-injured running backs because the Giants are 11th in the league against opposing fantasy running backs. They only give up 18 points a game. You spread that out across Moss and Brown. That's a little bit of a low upside situation. Sure, yeah, if it gets fully cut in half and given to both of them, but they're both in play of Zach Moss.
Just the slight higher probability at the better game. But Chase Brown has really been. He's looked explosive. He looks fantastic. And the opportunities are going. They're building. Jamar Chase, T. Higgins, please start them. Yep. Jamar Chase was Mike's fantasy draft redo number one overall pick on Wednesday. I think Higgins receiving lines like 54 and a half yards in this game. And the hilarity is not lost on me of Jamar Chase, the first couple weeks of this season, right? I mean, there's other factors, of course. Joe Burroughs just returning from the injury, but 9.2 points, 5.5 points. T. Higgins comes back. 26.8, 16, 36. Like, it matters. I mean, we all want.
our number one guy to be the only player on the team because we want all the targets. Doesn't work that way. Sometimes when you have a really good player on the other side, now your number one has an even better opportunity. Yeah, I think we've seen that at times in Philadelphia with AJ Brown and Devante Smith when they're both healthy. Right. On the other side of the football, we've got no Malik neighbors. The Giants are battling. They're at home. How do we feel about Wondale and Darius Slayton? Last week, Darius Slateon was the beneficiary of no neighbors. Eleven targets, eight for one, 22, and a touchdown. What I love about Slayton when he gets opportunities is that they take deep shots to him. And Daniel Jones and Darius Slateonk have connected on those in the past. So Slay or, you know, Deontay. Oh, Deontay. So he's not entering that tier. No, but he's fine to me as like a flex or a double flex if you're like.
I got to put some volatility. I got to get some natural. Trey Tucker, who seems to be by himself in Las Vegas? I would go Slayton. Okay. So that answers that question. Devin Singletary has been limited. He's on the groin index website. The decision on the Giants running backs, I think, is close to impossible. Because Devin Singletary is a good player. He is recovering from the injury. But to have a rookie running back go out and do what Tracy did last week. I don't, and the health status of Singletary, I don't think you're just like, okay, Devin, you're back, you're the guy again. So what does that split turn out to be? Nasty. Really sketchy to start either of them. It's more like just watch this week and see what's going on. I mean, if you're in a tough situation and you have to start one of them, I probably am going back to the starter. Yes. If they're both on my team.
And they're both playing. I would play Devon. Did you know Daniel Jones has had three quarterback one weeks over the last four? He has been playing okay. You can't compliment him or everything will fall apart. Yeah, Derek Harstile. Yes. One Monday night football game. Can you believe it? And surprise, surprise, road favorite. The Buffalo Bills 3 and 2 taking on the 2 and 3 New York Jets, the Drafkeen Sportsbook line, Bills minus 2 and a half. The over under is 41. I actually think the Jets win this ball game. So I guess I'll hit another one. Andy's almost upset of the week. The passing line for Josh Allen right now is 210. We talked about this last week. He had been red light, green light. He had been good, bad, good bad. Now it's two straight bad games in a row. 28th and 20th at the position. Nine for 30 throwing the football last week. Khalil Shakir, I don't think he's playing in this ball game. Did not practice on Thursday.
Curtis Samuel, limited, toe injury, what he's been dealing with. That's a problem. Keon Coleman is not a target vacuum. Remember Alan Robinson in Jacksonville was the target monster? Yes. Keon Coleman is not that. Keon Coleman is a physical receiver who can make a player or two for you, but he cannot go catch, you know, he's not what Garrett Wilson did last week for these jets. So I feel nervous about this. And Kincaid is not the way either the way they're the overall for Buffalo. I feel nervous overall for Buffalo. This is a great defense they're playing. They're also getting the, they've got the head coach changeover. The coach bump narrative. I mean, this is the number one team against quarterbacks in football, and Josh Allen's coming off of two bad weeks. If there was ever a time in the last five years, you could think about pivoting to a higher upside play than Josh Allen. Like, if you had Baker Mayfield and Josh Allen. Well, Laser Mayfield. Yeah, sorry. I mean, and that. Thank you. I just.
The lows for Josh Allen. I said this exactly last week. The lows are low now. Yeah. Yeah, the floor seems to have fallen into the basement. Like if he has a dud this week and it's three straight games outside the top 20 at the position. Yeah. I think there is a chance that could happen. You have to be able to grab the brush and paint the picture of what a good game looks like fantasy-wise for Allen. And I don't think you can do it in the passing game right now. So then you have to just tell me, oh, cool, he runs for 57 yards and two touchdowns. That can always happen. But the jets are not giving up points on the ground, through the air, anywhere. And with, I mean, with Shakir out and if James Cook is out, to me, I know people love Don Quakeet. To me, that's their top two options. That's their top two weapons. And so, I mean, that's some fantasy algebra that usually ends a disaster. This is why I'm actually surprised their favorite in this game.
Yeah, maybe that maybe D.K's not taken into account the coach pump. I love Breeze Hall. I love Garrett Wilson. I'm okay flexing Ellen Lazard. And I look, in this economy, Tyler Conklin's not a bad idea. Always. Always be conkin. Kong. Always be conkin. That is, you've said that for most of your life. Yeah, yeah. No, ABC. Always be conkin. Always be conkin. He said that. He said that, Al. I heard it. A lot of people think it's closing, but it's actually, it's conking. We've been saying it wrong. Oh, is it with a G? I thought it was just a conkin with an in apostrophe. Conkin? I thought it was conkin or C-O-N-K-I-N. I think that that's just that's what part of the of the nation are you from. Oh, okay. Is that what that is? Yeah, yeah, yeah. It depends. Local dialects can change that. It's like the pop and Coke. Uh-huh. Yeah. Yeah. Depending on where you are.
Always be conk in ABC. This, I mean, Dalton Kincaid is in. I mean, you just play him and hope that it goes the right direction. Yeah, look, five targets and three straight games. That's, we'll take that year. Do we have that number? Yeah, we do. That would be, he'll be the Titan 12. Yeah, that's disappointing. That's disappointing. He's had one top 10 week. And. Yeah, I mean, he's on pace for 81 targets. I think we had them projected in the draft kit for 105, 106. Yeah, it was it was the, the project of projecting like he will be the number one target. And it's not, it's not like Dawson Knox is taking opportunity, just to be clear. Dawson Knox has five targets on the season. I didn't realize it was that low. So it's just been like they can't connect. They better drop a Dalton Kincaid game plan this week. Otherwise, we're in big, big trouble.
Uh, Mixin is at practice today. That's an injury update for you. We don't know if it's limited or full. So I'm going to say a little prayer that it's full. I need him back. A lot of people do. And you said he'd be right back in your lineup. He would for me. Yeah. All right. We missed the parley partay from. Oh. Yesterday. So King of the castle. King of the castle. Unfortunately the eight for now, for now. The eight targets. Hey. The eight targets from Zachertz did not lead to what we needed. That's so insane. Eight targets, 10 yards. If you're like, hey, Zacherts needs, what did he need? 25. 25. I promise he will have eight targets. You're like, it's done. I'm going right to the bank. So Mike is the crown. He was dead on. Joe Burrow had, I think the line was 250 and you had a minute.
over 250 and he went 3992. And then Jason lost on the anytime touchdown last week by Jordan Mason. So this week, here we go. We got Jason's pick. So we'll start there. He's going under a bunch of haters this week. Under on Justin Herbert's 195 and a half passing yards against the Broncos. That is a low bar. 195 and a half is low. But he's not gone over one time this year. And now he's playing Denver. Yeah, exactly. So they just don't throw the football a lot. They just don't. I'm going under as well. I'm taking Trevor Lawrence under 245 and a half, which is an alt-line. Chicago is giving up 174 passing yards per game. So I like this. I like Lawrence being under in this one. I don't mind that one. I had strongly considered that before we started talking. You're like, oh, I think I'm going to go in this game. I'm going to go Calvin Ridley. I'll be the only non-hater over here. Calvin Ridley.
over 40 receiving yards. The Colts have allowed the fifth most yards to wide receivers, second highest yards per capita wide receivers, and they're getting crushed by perimeter wide receivers. The huge George Pickens game, Brian Thomas. I'll say, Nico. He doesn't really count because he's just so good, but Roma Dune's a huge game. Romeo Dobbs, 62 yards with Malik Willis. I think this is, and all the chatter, of course, the narrative of we're going to get Calvin Ridley on board. All right. So you go Calvin Ridley 40 plus receiving yours. Now, during the sharing of this parley partay, there was a nice one liner that came in from the Falcon. What's that? This parlay is so good, we have to hide it from Calvin Ridley. That's pretty funny. That's pretty funny. Okay. We're going to take a break. We're going to come back with the fantasy face off. And now I go from crown to clown. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's your turn, Mike. Yeah. How'd you all feel when Nico?
Went out early? No, but no, didn't go out. Hit the 70 yard or whatever touchdown. I thought you were set up for success. Last week, Jason and I, Jason was number one. I was number two. We were two points apart. And then Mike, the stinky Mike. Yeah. Down at the bottom. We were on our way. So I'm keeping my no wheel of shame streak alive through four different weeks. And I'm going to continue. You better be on Kyler and Marvigan, you coward. We'll find out. We'll find out. But first, you get to spin this wheel. of shame. All right, spin the stupid wheel. Oh, man. Spin it becoming my favorite segment. Starman. Pizza face. The clerk. Rainy day. Oh, bad bowl. Bad bowl. Oh, my gosh. Do I have a potty on my head? Oh, boy. Around the neck, Mike. Is this sanitary? This better be new or at least cleaned. We took that from the back bathroom. You never want the falcon handing you a toilet.
You know what I mean? I don't want this thing slamming on my head. Oh, yeah. Oh, is this a plunger hat? This is a, this is great. Oh, that's a plunger hat. Oh, yeah. I look like I'm in, uh, I'm in a divo. This is great, dude. You must whip it. This is great. This is great. This is great. This is great. All right, Mike, you got me. Oh, we're going to whip it into shape. Oh, you got me. My quarterback. Kyler Murray. Good for you. Kyla Murray against Green Bay. I am not abandoning my secret sauce for stray weeks of avoiding the toilet around my neck. This is a good one, dude. This one's good. Go to YouTube. YouTube.com slash the fantasy footballers. I've got a, you asked, is this the week that it works? I've got Dak Prescott. And against the Detroit Lions, 6,700.
We got Jason's lineup, too. He's going Kirk Cousins. Okay. I'm going Kirk Cousins. All right. My running backs, Mike, one of them is your start of the week. I'm going Tony Pollard at 6,000. And then I am, I'm shopping near the basement on this player. I'm actually going Tyler Algier. Nice. That's, yeah. You can run on him. He's going to get work and Bijan's hurt. So I'm going to Thailand and saving some money. Of course I have Tony Pollard in my lineup. I thought so. And then I'm going with nasty Najee. Nasty. Nasty Najee Harris against the Raiders. Only 5,800, but he will be alone. He should touch the ball 15 plus times. Now our crack staff here didn't put in the prices for Jason's lineup. But Derek Henry and David Montgomery are his two starters. Wow.
Okay. Derek Henry, David Montgomery. Where's the bargains? Well, we're going to have to find them for Jason. My wide receiver room, two Cowboys, one Brown. C.D. Lamb at 8600, the highest, most expensive receiver. Amari Cooper, my start of the week for the Browns, Target Monster, and Jalen Tolbert. I'm playing the combination of $5,000. Ah, yeah, that's. So he's cheap. Yeah, that's nice there. I got C.D. Lamb, of course, because I got Dak. Then I have Ammon Rae St. Brown at 8,100. So we are spending that cash, ladies and gentlemen. I never like it when my opponent has Ammon Ra. That's scary. And then he's got the Q tag, but I think he's going to play. I got Darnell Mooney in at 5,300. Okay. And Jason went with Deontay Johnson for Carolina. It's toilet seat. Is it comfortable? While it looks luxurious, it's really awkward and uncomfortable and heavy.
It's not bothering me at all. That might surprise you. Yeah, no, it does. It does. Deante Johnson, Drake London, Jalen Polk. Those are the three names Jason throughout there. What? Read those again. Deontay Johnson. Okay. Drake London. Jalen Polk. So Polk is where he saved the money then. He might have. I don't know. I don't know what the prices are. I can find that one for it. Polk is $3,600. All right, Mike. Yeah, that's a great pun play. Okay. Yeah, I almost went. to Mario Douglas. Oh, with the Drake May situation. But my last three players, you noticed I didn't say Marvin Harrison's name. Yeah. It's because my stack this week is Trey McBride. Oh, very nice. Tray McBride at 5,700. I am saving some cash. I'm going Trey Tucker at 4,200 in my flex, who is all alone in Las Vegas, and they do have to have the ball at some points in this game. Yeah.
For four downs at a time. And unfortunately, that also means I am, I'm going with my almost upset defense. Taking New England at home against Houston without Nico. They're 2,400. They're the cheapest defense on draft kings. That's what I'm going with. I've got the Route King. I'm going with Cade Otten against the Saints, 3,500. The Buccaneers against Spencer Rattler. Can I interest you in a snake? please uh i don't i don't know where the drop is i got a snake man and then here's where i had to save the cash zavier hutchinson of the houston texans against the patriot's 3300 jason went tucker craft at tight in and nontavian wicks in the flex oh okay so a couple of starts against arizona for green bay and then he went titans defense this week so um that's a good lineup there you go
