You know, Mike, you just said it. If Woody Marks gets the opportunity and does perform well, there is a world where he could usurp David Montgomery. Now, I don't think that's going to happen. I don't think either of these guys is a great long-term pickup in the sense that you've got a tough matchup this week for Woody Marks, then a game, then a buy week. So it's like you're not really looking at someone that's going to be great right now for the next month. And then putting your reliance in Marshaun Lloyd, who has looked?

113 passagespretty bad the majority of the year. The touchdown really saved him and he's got a good matchup. I'm not like going out there and dumping massive amounts of fab for either of these guys. I have Lloyd one spot ahead. We have no idea what's going on with Josh Jacobs. We had confirmation that the Packers have no information. We are approaching that week six. I mean, we're going into week six right now, which is kind of the default.
starting point for a domestic violence suspension so he will be missing this week that will be the six weeks i don't know if at that point they start asking the packers start going okay we need to hear something not that they have any control over it i mean we just don't know what in the world's going on like is this a like a standstill because the league won't act until it has the video and jacobs won't provide the video and they're trying to and they're trying to basically
forced Jacobs to show the video at some point in time or the NFL PA gets involved. We have not heard any news in a while. I know Al Borland, a resident Packer fan here has been befuddled by the entire, right? I mean, you've just been like, what in the world's happening? Yeah, absolutely. And it's not just, not just because I'm a Packer fan, but as a person that needs running back help on my team, I want to trade for Josh Jacobs, but I can't do it until I know. It's just.
Yeah, so starter-wise, you might also see Damien Pierce starting this week against Carolina because Shipley and Tank Biggsby are on IR. Sequin's still questionable. Damian Pierce is almost available everywhere. Not an army. Not an R-League. I know Mike's got him. Kendrae Miller, what did he do last week? 10 for 30 and a score. Yeah, he looked okay. Camara was not great. Would you rather play, Jay, would you rather play Damien?
Pierce, but that's, it's an unknown. Like, because Sequin was weak to week with the hamstring. I would say he probably misses, but there's, you know, let's just assume that he's out. Are you, would you rather play Damian Pierce against Carolina or Woody Marks against Jacksonville? Oh, man, that's really tough. Carolina is such a bad team against the run specifically, but the offensive line injuries for the Eagles. Jacksonville is the team that.
absolutely shut down in Philadelphia's run game. Like, Timmy and Pierce was 11 for 14, but it wasn't all just a Pierce issue. I mean, a lot of it is, but Jacksonville is just, they are, they're very, very salt. Like right now they're number two, as in like they're the second worst matchup for running backs. Yeah, I think I lean Pierce over Woody Marks. You also could throw out Kendra Miller. I mean, this is why I'm not dumping Fab on, like I, I,
There is an avenue here where you go, hey, Marshawn Lloyd is a great start this week. Maybe he is. You know, he was 10 for 31. I will say this, 26 snaps in the first three quarters, zero to Caleb Johnson. They beat the tar out of the bears. The fourth quarter.
is when Caleb Johnson came in and got nine years. So, like, it was Marshawn Lloyd, and there was clarity to who. Lloyd and Pierce Strong. Yeah. But still, vast majority to Lloyd. You might look at the snaps and go, oh, at the end of the game, he was lower or whatever, but that was not how the game was playing out when they were in the game. If Lloyd was available on waivers in your league, which he is in about half of leagues, I'll ask Al Borland this just because you were talking about running back depth. There's a chance Lloyd.
of all these names that we mentioned is the running back for the rest of the season for the Packers. What kind of fab would you be willing to drop out as somebody who's in the trenches fighting for running backs? If Marshall and Lloyd was sitting there, how much of your $100 fab budget would you pay to put them on your team? I think I'd go about 50. Yeah. I think Lloyd is the one. But he's already on my team and he's my RB1. Yeah, I said like.
a Packers fan. And 100% of that, dropping 50, he's already on your team, he's your RB1. I'd probably drop 40 to 50 if I didn't have a running back or my running back was knocked out just because I think Lloyd has the highest odds of these players. Like Monty will come back at some point. Saquan might be back this week. Kendry Miller has to deal with the return of A-chan plus Camara.
Brian Robinson Jr. That's a backup player like Roshan. What in the world happened with Mike Washington Jr. this week? Yeah, that was bizarre. I mean, Gentie was so hurt. It was Dylan Lauby. Dylan Lauby. And I was like, is he hurt? Like, he had one opportunity, one snap. And Ashton Genty is, like, Genty is clearly hurt. He has not look anything remotely. Really hurt. And it's just, this is how it's going to be for the Raiders and Ashton Genty. And you just got to hope that he keeps getting all those checkdowns.
Because on the ground, Ash and Jitzi right now is a disaster. Will Shipley just went down for multiple weeks due to what? A torn plantar fascia, which by the way, I think sometimes is the better path to healing on that injury. I remember that in the past with, like, Eli. That's what's on the table for Genti. He's dealing with plantar fasciitis on top of the ankle injury. If he tears it, it will be a multi-week absence. That makes Genti really trepidacious. Yeah, he's really...
everything is just pure volume for him at this point. I mean, like still good in the receiving game, but on the ground, like he's at 3.3 yards per carry on the season. Yeah, that's kind of been in the story with him the last two years. Julio McLaughlin could have an opportunity in Cleveland. They play Baltimore. Baltimore's been good against the run. Oh, yeah, I like it. Sarah. Okay. Yeah, Sarah McLaughlin available.
goodness gracious Keaton Mitchell Emmett Johnson if you want to you know Emmett needs to be on a roster it is the season that you can cycle them you can stash your favorite but if you have spots on your bench right now or you're just like eh you have I have this low tier wide receiver who it's like nothing's happening for them there's no momentum start putting insurance running backs on on your bench follow injuries it's like
And it's like find the backup to the backup as well. I put, I threw Damian Pierce on my bench over this weekend and league of record because it's, it's down to Will Shipley and Damian Pierce. Yeah, you always want. And then if you have an extra spot, you want to take the shots on those backups. Emmett Johnson and Kalin Black, those two guys are.
available in the majority of leagues. Silly. Which is crazy to me. I mean, the by week for Kansas City might have led to the number for M. But those two guys must be rostered in all situations. And then there's also... And Roshan. Roshan, absolutely. Due to the Monong guy, we know he's going to miss a couple weeks. There's also a running back out there playing the majority of snaps who had nine receptions this week that you still don't want to pick up, which is Tajay Spears. Nine receptions. Yeah.
The Titans. Did you see, I mean, if you look at the first 21 games of Will Levis' career in Cam Ward's, Will's, Will Levis wins almost every category. More wins, better numbers. The Titans have scored 20 points one time this year. Right now you're basically targeting 10, 7, 3. You're targeting teams' defenses playing Miami, playing the Titans. It's wild. Chargers.
I mean, you're not wrong. Maybe Denver. Maybe. And the Giants. But that's not, that's because. And Tampa right now with Jaylon Danielson. But we'll take a break and we'll get into the rest of the positions here as we talk waivers heading into week six. This episode of the fantasy footballers podcast is brought to you by.

Monopoly is a registered trademark of Hasbro. By the way, I was glancing like I have Bucky Irving, right? He's on my team. And I was like, well, this is good advice here on the show. Maybe I should just...
take a look at Kenny Gainwell and see if he's sitting out there. He shouldn't be on a roster. But lo and behold, he's my RB2. Yes, Al Borland, that's what I saw. Al Borland has Kenny Gainwell. How's that been working out for you? What's his, what's his performances? He's not actually my RB2, but he's, he is on your roster. He is, I think he was in my starting lineup this week. He has two points, three points, two points, nine point seven and four.
RB 48. My team's hanging in there. Gainwell has looked nothing like Gainville last year in any way. He's been the least efficient runner that I can imagine. I mean, he was, golly, he's 2.6 on the year. And you're like, well, he catches the ball, right? He's got 11 catches in five games. It's weird. So only a guy like Al would have him on this. They gave him decent money, too. I mean, I'm sitting there going like, if I was trying to insure, Bucky Irving, it's probably Sean Tucker. Might be. The way things are right now.
All right, let's talk about the very important wide receiver position here and a guy that we all have in the top three of our waiver rankings. This is my number one pickup of the week. It's Jeremy Bernard of the Pittsburgh Steelers who. Second round rookie. Yes, I mean, he has had like flashes. He had eight targets in week two, four for 35 in that game. But this past week, nine targets, six catches, 80 yards.
I believe the quote from someone on the team was like, football just comes easy for him. And you'd no longer have Michael Pittman, who's on IR. You no longer have Roman Wilson who's hurt. You know, they don't have Kenny Gainwell anymore, Aaron Rogers' favorite target. So Jeremy Bernard, when you have a rookie that has upside and potential, to me, this is, I don't blame you if he's number one on your list at all. It's all positional preference. Like, what do you need most? I think I have a couple running backs ahead of him because I think those are more rare. But Jeremy Bernard.
Like I think he'll be highly contested on the waiver wire this week, Jay, and six for 80 opportunities. Metcalf is just a wet fart of a wide receiver anymore. Yes, man. I have Metcalf. Who would you start next week? The process would say you still start Metcalf, right? But what does your heart say? And some other, like just everything in me would not want to watch D.K. Metcalf anymore.
GERMI. GERMI. Leave Jeremy alone. Yeah. His name is spelled with a G. If you don't know. It is. I know, but you might be going out there, like searching on the waiver wire. Like, where's this Jeremy? GERM-I-E. G-E-R-M-I-E. But he's a good prospect. I didn't think my notes on him were plays the entire field and seems very reliable, an NFL wide receiver for sure.
maybe not a fantasy star, but he's good and he's getting the opportunity. And they need him right now. So, yeah, I think he's a good pickup. He's not necessarily my number one pickup. If I'm looking at a start- Well, because of Rogers is only production right now. It's not good, just good numbers. Right. No, I mean, for me, it's just a matter of like, depending on what you need, other positions, who might be available.
Um, there's a quarterback available in like 40% of leagues, which is mind blowing that should be picked up immediately. And then, um, I still think Dantavian Wicks, um, is a very good pickup. He's been on the field. He's been getting the targets. He's proven over and over that he's, you know, able to go out there and put up a bomb touchdown or 70 plus yards, get enough targets. And so, um, I'd rather have the Steelers offense than the Eagles offense right now. So that's where if you want to lean germy, Jeremy.
