I don't like it. From a fantasy football perspective, I wish sacks were penalized. I wish. And obviously, if you lost rushing yards when you take an eight yard sack, then that would be penalized from a fantasy standpoint. Yeah, I can see the argument of taking, because in the NFL you take a sack, that drives probably dead, more than likely. But you're really going to notice the rushing yards when we look at should do it. 22 sacks for Cam Mord last year. in Miami. And then number two, Mike actually has him at three. I do. Jason and I have him at two, Chador Sanders. I don't know if I will. Three in my heart. I don't know if I'm going to end up being the, I think I might accidentally end up being the most bullish on Chadour of this three pack. Okay. Because I actually think he will succeed at the next level. So, I mean, that's like step one, right? Are you going to be a starter that can go out there and succeed on a regular basis? Hyper accurate. Did have Travis Hunter to throw the ball too.
also evasive in the pocket, also played for a team that had no rushing game of any kind in Colorado. In fact, their leading rusher was about 350 yards. I think that might have been an active decision by Papa Dion. There was a little bit of both. I mean, you also put yourself in a position. They were nine and four last year. The defense struggled at times, but a 74% passer, 37 and 10 touchdown to interception ratio. I actually think he's going to succeed at the next level. There are some throws that he attempts and succeeded with that I think are very college football decisions that'll get you into piles of trouble. Some of the stuff that Caleb Williams did where you were like, that plays amazing. But if you try that three times in the NFL, you're getting picked. You've got to take the easier play. But we're talking about a player that was 82% completion percentage.
between the numbers. So he threw it over the middle a ton. You know, to me, I love seeing that. There were there were quarterbacks that came out years ago that Ohio State quarterback played for Washington. I don't know why I cannot remember his name right now. Oh, now I can only take a fierce. First round draft pick. Dwayne Haskins. Dwayne Haskins. Oh, yes. He was a player that in the scouting process, you noticed everything was to the edges. It was to the outside. I like to see players. To me, it's a great trade as a quarterback when you're willing to throw the ball in the middle of the field, timing routes. So I actually think Shadour will succeed. I think this order, Cam Ward and Shadur could very much change for me post-draft. If you go look at the post-draft rankings, landing spot's going to matter. We didn't talk about it, but Cam Ward, if it's Tennessee, how do you feel about that for those first couple of years? I feel okay, actually. I think that Tennessee has.
They're not overpowering you, but they're not depleted. Not that I think Shador will go number two, but if you just put those two situations up against one another, Tennessee, Cleveland, I like his opportunity to go to Cleveland and succeed fantasy-wise more than I do can. I would rather have, whichever quarterback I prefer, I think the better spot is Tennessee. I think it's just a better run franchise. And if you look at the weapons, I mean, you got Jerry Judy for Cleveland, but there's not much else. Sutter Tillman? I think he flashed quite a bit last year. Both landing spots are okay, as in the often we feel just terrible about the team offenses who are drafting at the top. I think that the spots that need a quarterback are.
they're okay. Shoulder Sanders to me. Yeah, you made the comment earlier, the only one you feel real confident in his camera. Yeah. So tell me why you think Shador, you're, there was a lot I liked from Shador Sanders. He throws such a catchable ball. Like, he looks like, you know, he doesn't have the same arm strength and, and the fiery zip, but he certainly to me looks like he has the ability to throw an NFL ball. He can get it out to the middle, fast enough, quick enough, um, hit guys right in stride. I think it's a beautiful. past that he has. The problem I had on film was that when things went right, he was really good. He was really, really, really good. But in the games where the pass rush got him, I remember there were a lot of plays against Baylor, where it was like, oh, the pass rush was coming. He took sacks that I feel like were his fault. He didn't overcome. To me, he looks like this wonderful game manager when things go right. And if he goes to a good situation,
I agree, Andy, he can succeed. I don't look at this guy and say he doesn't have the ability to. But I worry that if he's not, if he's not to a great destination, which most of the top spots, you know, we could debate which one is better between Tennessee and the Browns. Neither's great. There's a reason why these guys are picking number one and number two. I don't know if when it collapses, if he can overcome. I didn't see that. I think he's a better throw under pressure than Cam Ward. Okay, he, 26% of his sacks, Jason, to highlight your point, they were deemed quarterback responsible. So as in he was the reason for, you know, a quarter of his sacks, which that's a very high number to, to push the blame saying, no, the quarterback took it. When I'm watching him, like, and he is a mobile guy, but like I was talking about rushing yards, he finished the year with negative 50 rushing yards. This is a player who can make some things happen on the ground.
But speaking of him in the pocket, very rarely do you see him, at least when I'm watching him, step forward into the pocket. No, he retreats too much. He retreats too much for sure. And the retreating. I think he got gun shy. The retreating then just it compiles on and makes the sack even worse when it eventually happens. So to me it's like, are you, when you're facing an actual NFL defense, are you going to be able to see the field properly? Are you going to be able to. look players off and create things with your eyes. And that combined with their, to me, there's still feels like there's some hesitancy from the NFL of like all the reviews for Sanders are not glowing. He's not locked in to be the number two overall pick, which you would, when you have two teams at the top of the draft that need a quarterback. And you felt, and you felt like there's two.
really strong prospects. We would be saying, okay, who's picking it? Who's at three? That's when the draft actually starts. No, I think that's fair. I mean, I look at those offensive lines in the collegiate, you know, like Cam Ward had a great offensive line. They did a lot more in the running game. They did a lot more on past protection. And the retreating that you're talking about, it's a fair criticism. I think it's a product of it kind of being Sanders and Hunter versus the world for that offense versus. a complete offense. Sure. If he ends up at a good spot, he should do her okay. Okay. Boston. No. You know what? I'm fine with it. I'm okay. Compared to, you've set a bar. You've set a bar. It's so low. My bar is. You've delivered it well. Thank you. It's going to.
It's better than Milrose Place, which we're going to talk about later. Oh, my goodness. Jackson Dart, though, it comes in at two on Mike's list, three on Jason's. Number one in Kyle's. I don't know if he's actually number one in his rankings, but he's definitely number one in Kyle's heart. He is number one in your heart. Kyle's speaking up. Because when you call Kyle out on his Bullcraft, then he then he boomed. Oh, no, oh no. Kyle, you love Jackson Darkest admit it. Yeah, silence. That's right. Wow. Did we mute him? Did we not? You'll never know. No, I don't think we muted him. Jackson Dart, guys. Ole Miss, 29 and 6th, the touchdown to interception ratio, 69% completion percentage. Nice. And we had 495 yards on the ground from Jackson Dart. You know, by the way, one thing I didn't bring up, Cam Ward's younger than Shadour, right?
Yeah, Chador is, what, 23? Cam Ward just a couple months. Yeah, but he also had an exceptionally young breakout age, right? He was 18. Jackson Darts not yet 22, breakout age of 19. Why is he at two over Chador? Do you think it's just more prototypical NFL quarterback prospect to you? Yeah, and just the, I like Darts armed talent a little bit more. Where, like, Sanders. I'm not trying to take away from it. I think I do agree with everything we said of he throws a good, throws a good ball. He's very accurate. I just have concerns of once he's, you know, scanning the NFL field, will that be enough? Like, well, when he has to hit an out route, will it, will it get there in time? Or will the DB be able to pick it off? Where DART.
He, I mean, he is, he's just, he's been a dark horse here of rising up. A dark horse? I didn't want to do it because Jason just did his awful joke. Yeah, but then what are you supposed to, what are we supposed to do? I put the ball on the team for you. He could go to New Orleans at nine and sit behind car for a year. He could, he could be a pick by the Colts if they aren't convicted based on their two inconsistent players. Do you, do you think he'll be a first round pick? Yes. I do. I do. And I think they're, I mean, I can't imagine a team like Pittsburgh if they don't, I mean, even with Aaron Rogers, how do you not take a chance on a prospect like this at 21? Yeah, the nice thing from a fantasy perspective and the reason why I think that you can, this is part of why he's at two for me. You can easily put him at two over Seder's Sanders. So long as Jackson Dart gets drafted in the first round, like right now I'm not 100% positive. He'll be a first round pick. So he's my three. But the fact that we don't care. I don't care for.
if he's a great NFL player for the most part. I care about, is he going to be good for fantasy football? He can help me win in the real game, which is fantasy football. And he runs, you know, three years ago, 614 rushing yards, two years ago, 400 rushing yards, 495 rushing yards, his final season. Those things matter for fantasy. So you add the armed talent if he's a first round draft pick with... his mobility and you kind of get a little bit. Highest scramble rate of the class. Right. So that, I mean, that's what you want. That's going to help you succeed early in your NFL career. You look at how that helped Bo Nix and Jaden Daniels, obviously. Jaden Daniels are far superior dual threat athlete. But Jackson Dart, that's the reason why I like him. But I was, I was a little disappointed with the film. I wasn't, I wasn't blown away, no. Jalen Milrow, 726 yards on the ground last year.
531 in 2023, four years in Alabama. What were your takeaways on film for Jalen Millroll, kind of rounding out our quarterback overview before we get into running back? So the easiest thing to do with Milro is, like, because his numbers aren't pro-level, his ground numbers are fantastic, but you're talking two full seasons of 13 games, 2,800 passingers. So this isn't a guy who, was, you know, absolutely getting it done compared to... The 16 passing touchdowns last year? Jackson Dart threw almost 4,300 passing yards in 13 games. So a... And then there's the... Well, is this Anthony Richardson all over again. No, Milro is a far better prospect, has way more experience, which was one of the huge knocks on Anthony Richardson. It was like, the dude hasn't played very many games, or we're going to take him at four?
Yeah, I mean, I guess I probably would push back against better prospect when you look at ceiling because nobody's going to draft. Jaylon Milroy is not going to get drafted anywhere near Richardson got drafted, even though he was much like Milrow is a better passer. Yeah. Completion percentage isn't close between the two. Correct. I mean, 64 versus 53, sub 54, which has translated directly into the NFL. But. You know, this was a very hyped quarterback that had more of a letdown season in 2024 compared to his, you know, 2023 year where he threw 23 passes or touchdown passes, just six picks. And then a hard part for Milro is he, at least the latest I've seen, Kyle, you can update me if this has changed. He's not projected to be a first round quarterback. No. Where does, so I mean, if you're not in the first round, he's got.
You're backup. He has backup right now. Yeah, you're not starting right away. We've had some success with quarterbacks in the second round. Not a ton when you're talking about the hit rate versus the first rounder, but it's like Jalen Hertz, second round pick. So he's automatically put into the position of he's going to be a backup at least for a while. Like, Saints, if they take him in the second, I don't remember if they have a second round pick, but like that's interesting. Let him learn from Derek Carr for a year. But overall, I am... Yeah, they're picking up 40. I'm more concerned for Millrose long term. They have two thirds as well. Yeah, me too. Because it's like if he doesn't go... It's capital. It's draft capital. You think he'll go in the second because he's a quarterback. There's a chance, though, that people are like, no, we're not going to spend a pick here on... We like the depth at other positions. So we will take a quarterback in the third. And now, I mean, eventually you get into the area where you're like, well, it's Hendon Hooker.
It doesn't matter how much I liked that player. That dude is buried unless something catastrophic happens in front of them. Running backs, let's talk about a very exciting position in this upcoming draft. You have a lot of teams that have needs at the running back position, the Raiders who pick at number six and 37, the Saints who have talked a lot about drafting a running back at 9 and 40. The Bears, great. place for a quarter for a running back to land drafting at number 10 also two picks in the second round so they've got the draft capital to pull the trigger Dallas we know they're at 12 they're at 44 in the second round you got the Broncos major need at running back they're picking at 20
He's not making it there. Steelers. Well, you're talking about Ashton Genti. I haven't started talking about him yet. That's fair. But I'm just talking about lots of running. Lots of good running backs in this class. But everybody's wanting to know where Gentis is going. You're just thinking about where Genti can go. But yeah, Steelers at 21, charges at 22. The Chiefs at 31. There's a lot of places that running backs could land and succeed immediately, which is what we love, right? Like we talk every year rookie running backs make contributions for fantasy on a regular basis. But, I mean, you know, how many of those teams that I just read do you not like? I mean, if a running back lands in New Orleans, okay, maybe you have to sit behind Camara a little bit. But Chicago. Love it. Las Vegas with Gino Smith now. The, you know, the Cowboys, the Broncos, the Broncos, the best. I mean, Steelers might be the best. I mean, there's so many good landing spots. And the great news is that this year it's lining up with so many great running backs.
I mean, every year there's usually two rookie running backs in the top 12, certainly in the top 24. I feel like this year there could be six guys, rookies in the top 24 this year. And that wouldn't even, like I don't even think that's a spicy take. I think that will happen. Well, we won't let you know who we have at number one until after the break. I mean, I feel like I had to have the deucer cam on to introduce this guy because Ashton Genti is our number one, obviously. And you've got two. Fist pounding. Co-managers. Co-managing a team that believe, okay. Then Al Borland pulls his trophy out to just remind him. But these two guys have already cemented Ash and Genti in the NFL Hall of Fame. They've got the busts already being manufactured. Those are going to be good-looking busts. Did you see? I found out why he did not participate in the combine drills. And it was because he had to wear a shirt. He had to wear a shirt at the combine.
And his pro day, he was allowed to go. I didn't even know where you were going. Oh, yeah. I mean, the pro day. If you haven't seen him. He must work out. I think so. I mean, goodness gracious. Goodness gracious. Yeah, he's very, uh, svelte. Yeah. Swelt. Yeah. Swole? He looked like his skin couldn't do more. No, it's very tough. Like, don't hit that guy with a needle. Because he might just rip. So pro day looked good. Like his prolific collegiate running back. All right. From the visual aesthetic record 151 miss tackles force. 77 runs of 10 plus yards. The only running back in the class average two plus yards per play or sorry. Per team play. Per team play in his career.
catch the football and it was almost three i mean that's the overview the overview is like is he is he potential legend status and i think that he is at least potential legend type of potential legend status honestly if he wasn't a boise state running back if he did this for a different team i think i mean he's already going to be he's going to be drafted first clearly in the NFL draft He's going to be first in almost every rookie drafts, even Super Flex drafts. He's probably going to be first because he's going to be a top 15-ish NFL draft pick. He's got the most production that we've seen in a long, long time. His production profile is outrageously good. You like 2,600 yards on the ground last year? I'm a huge fan of that. 29 touchdowns. I love that too. He did fumble four times. He broke out at 18 years old. He's 215 pounds. He basically checks every single box.
Across the board, the only one that you question is just the level of competition. We have seen a handful of Boise State running backs who are exceptionally prolific, statistically speaking, and then they don't live up to that hype. Five-nine shorter? Which is fine for a running back. So is there any scenario? I'll paint a quick picture here. He goes to the Saints at 9 and then. One of these other prolific running backs goes at 10? I think we had talked. Like Omari and Hampton goes at 10 to the Bears? Is there any world where your rookie draft is unsettled? There is a world. I think the only situation that makes sense is if Gentie were to go to the 49ers and Omarian Hampton were to go to one of the great landing spots, whether it's the Bears or whether it's the Broncos with high draft capital. You might make.
the argument that you should switch those and Gentie should be the second running back taken. That's legit and we can do that after the NFL draft. The Saints Bears, you wouldn't switch. I don't think so, no. So, yeah, Gentie is very secure on the tippy top of drafts for both the running back position in the NFL and for the rookie drafts. So, you know, it's hard to argue. You know, you talked about Boise State. What Gentie did was highlight real stuff every single week. Yeah, yeah, it really was. So if you haven't watched, which, you know, I would say most people don't just watch Boise State college games. Was Doug Martin a Boise State running back? I believe so. Doug Martin. Madison. Yeah, Alexander Madison, JJ. Jeremy McNichols. Yes. Yep, a lot of prolific backs there that don't necessarily pan out. But this was truly, I mean, if you watch the film, he breaks tackles.
every single play. You cannot, no one-on-one guy is getting him down. Balance is outrageous. He has this wildly short and effective stiff arm. I don't understand it. It's like I feel like it always works, but this isn't Derek Henry's like six foot long arm. This is, you know, five foot nine guy with a stiff arm that no one could get to him. So TLDR is going to work. Yeah, it's going to work at the next level for Genti. At number two for Jason and I, number three for Mike, Amari and Hampton, coming out of North Carolina, bigger back than Mr. Genty. He's six foot 220, breakout age of 20 years old. I loved what I saw in film from Hampton. He's the type of player that I think will translate very, very well. He's what you want in terms of being able to be a three downback. He can catch the football, had 38 receptions in 2024.
I liked his speed. To me, he was one of those like get him going guys, right? Help him turn the corner. Certain systems might be more of an advantage for Hampton. But because of the demand for the running back position right now in the NFL and these great landing spots, if it's Chicago, if it's Dallas, if it's Pittsburgh, like I'm feeling pretty good about Hampton as a next level fantasy star. Yeah, I mean, there is an argument assuming that he gets the first round draft capital that he's been being mocked with lately and frequently. If he gets that, then he should really be seen of as in the tier with Genti as far as fantasy future. This is a guy that does project to be able to have true three down utilization.
He has a great pass blocker. He should be in every down. That's the style. If you're going to draft a player like Lamarion Hampton with that size, that strength, that pedigree, that utilization, you are drafting him to be on the field all the time in all situations. And for fantasy purposes, that's great. He's going to catch the ball. It's going to be a goal line guy. I loved the film. There's only four players in the ACC history with 1,500 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns in consecutive years, which is what he did. Lamar Jackson. Delvin Cook, Travis E.TN. I love that Lamar Jackson is there. Amarie and Hampton. So, um, upright runner. Yeah. Dude, when I hear upright runner, there's only one guy that always pops. I know who it is. Peterson. Run DMC. Yes. Yeah. You can't call that upright. That is. Toothpit. It is vertical. Yeah. It just gets in my head. But, um, Mike, why don't you talk about why you have a, a, uh, a.
A nipple lower than... I'm not out on Hampton. Travia and Henderson. But I am definitely would be the cold water of the three of us. He, like I have him at three. I can see where people are mock drafting him and we said at the top, draft capital matters so, so much. But when I, like, back when I first reviewed Omerian Hampton, I was like, I think he's good. It took some time for me to warm up to him. And kind of my close out on him is, as I said, he's oddly good as in above average balance, but I'm not blown away by the traits. So where like Andy loves Hampton, that was not my, that wasn't my takeaway for him. I thought this is a good run. This is a starting running back, a good player, but I'm not over the moon for Hampton. And since that time, we've gotten a couple quotes. You know, they're anonymous.
of people being concerned about Hampton and not being a true starter caliber running back. And that's someone who wants to draft them. Maybe, maybe. But then the other one is, and this is a grain of salt, but this is Maurice Jones Drew, who was, you know, an elite running back. How well can he scout running backs? I don't know that for sure. But he had, he listed, I think, four or five guys as, okay, these are guys who are starters right away in the NFL. And then there were system running backs. Hampton's in his system running backs. I think he had him at RB7. That's silly. And my final thought, my final note on Hampton was he, because I said, I'm not blown away, but in the right spot, he will thrive. So the landing spot is very important to Hampton for me compared to the other guys. Yeah, I saw some Aryan Foster-esque. Well, then that would be why you love him. You're right.
You're right. There's a flow. There's a flow to his game. And we all love, like we have archetypes and types of players that we all are drawn to. Yeah, well, and it's not like Aryan Foster was a high draft pick. Oh, was he even drafted? Was he seventh round or undrafted? Undrafted. Yeah, undrafted. So, I mean, there's, talk about a system gets a hold of you and it works. You know, Foster was that example. I like Hampton a lot. I don't think he's a system running back at all. He does things in the open field that are system lists that he just breaks tackles and has great balance and has great athleticism, size, strength, pretty much all the things that you usually want to see. So I'm in, and it's worth noting Foot Clan like this year, to me, I think there might be six guys, six who are maybe better than last year's number one.
Like last year's draft class where it was Jonathan Brooks and Trey Benson and Blake Corum, those guys, if they were in this year's class, would be very low. So when we're putting Hampton 2 or even Trayvion Henderson 3. That's ahead of those guys. Yeah, it's ahead of those guys. Just because they're three, it's not their fault. They're in a great draft class. Yeah, Trayvion Henderson comes in at three for us, two for Mike, three from Jason and myself. We're going to throw him in with Quinchin Judkins and talk about the Ohio State running backs, Mike. Tell me why Henderson jumps off the page for you. So he is an absolute demon on the field and going back to my comment, we all have play type that we are drawn to. Hey, you've been talking about Henderson nonstop. Henderson to me is when I'm watching the tape and I got the same butterflies I got when I was watching Jemir Gibbs of this is a guy who.
could shock with draft capital, and he can hit a home run anywhere on the field. We're talking 90-plus yard rushing touchdowns. It's not impossible. He got used in the receiving game. He's got good hands like they'll motion him out and let him run a nine route down the field on the outside, and throw on the ball. They trusted him with that at Ohio State. His production profile, if you're talking strictly that, it is not the... It's not anywhere near where Gentie or Hampton is because he had Judkins on the team who is. Yeah, Judkins had 194 carries. And like Judkins projects as a day two pick at the worst case scenario for him. So you're sharing the field with two, it's two NFL starting caliber running backs on the same team. Chub and Sonny Michelle? Yeah, down in Georgia. Exactly. It reminds me of that situation. Yeah, yes, absolutely. And Henderson, he just with.
