He's still young. He hasn't lost it. He has no competition for touches with the 4-1 Giants. Saquan Barkley would be the number one pick if I was drafting over today. And to me, it's not even just that he's back. It's the opportunity count. It's the fact that he's central to the offense. Like he's been good before physically and not used the right way. And now he's taking wildcat snaps and all of that. 31 carries two weeks ago, I believe. Yeah, Mike, you are on the clock. Saquan went 101. in our fantasy draft redo. Where are you going? There's a couple guys that I would strongly consider here. And we're viewing this through the half PPR wins, by the way. And it's like normally you're like, okay, well, I want the high in running back. And I'm in agreement that Sequin would be my first pick. But it's like the running back too, I don't know. That's a big question. I do not know where to go. And so honestly, if I had to move forward, I would go Cooper Cup. He's locked in the,

28:46 ↗

Matthew Stafford doesn't give a crap about anybody else on this team. Sometimes he'd be when he's real scared. He'll throw it to him. Yes. But other than that, when he has some confidence in a play, it's going to Cooper Cup. And Cooper Cup is, what's crazy is the other team knows. The other team knows that his Cooper Cup is going to be the one getting the ball. And yet he still has success. It's not translating to overall Rams success, but Cooper Cup still putting up just. On ridiculous statistics. The most points. Just the most. I mean, Sequin Barclay has been unbelievable. I just took him number one. He has not scored as much as Cooper Cup and half PPR. If you're in full PPR. Cooper Cup is on pace for 166 receptions on 217 targets for 1,800 yards and 14 touchdowns. Nice. So, yeah, no, that's the right pick, Mike. And I'm with you. And I'm going to go with Justin Jefferson with the third overall pick. The same logic applying here.

29:44 ↗

Christian McCaffrey, it's difficult right now. You have a quarterback that's injured. You have a new head coach. You have misuse already as a precedent, and you did not lose. They didn't lose Ben McAdoo, did they? No, he's still there. Yeah, they should have. And that might have changed things. But no, Justin Jefferson is more of a sure thing than even Christian McCaffrey is right now moving into the back half of this year. His pace, not quite Cooper Cup level, but it ain't, it's not very far off. 187 target pace, 136 receptions, 1900 yards, and seven touchdowns. You had those couple down games, but it seems like the Vikings figured it out. Yeah, I mean, going forward now, and Chris McCaffrey is in consideration. Derek Henry. Stefan Diggs, you know, we're talking Cooper Cup and Justice Jefferson.

30:36 ↗

Diggs should be right there with him. But at this point with the fourth pick, I am going to take Christian McCaffrey. I think he is quarterback proof enough. We haven't seen him fully dominate and yet he's been great. So I will continue to have Christian McCaffrey up in my top five. Mike, you have the fifth pick here, Barkley Cup Jefferson McCaffrey so far. And here we are in a world where I didn't think we would ever be because I would take Josh Allen. The quarterback, which sounds like counterintuitive to everything that I have believed about fantasy football for the last decade. Wow. Supplying the demand of the quarterback position, they are easily replaceable. However, this year, they are not. Josh Allen has 150 total points in a four point touchdown scoring format. And then like down at five. Well, okay, well, five the fifth overall quarterback, certainly.

31:33 ↗

I'm competing against the number one quarterback because that's how it always has been. It's not been a huge gap of points. But at five is Carla Murray with just over 100 points, a 50 point gap. And there's no reason for me to doubt what Josh Allen is doing is going to slow down at all. The guy is an absolute machine. If he's having a bad day throwing the ball, he just runs for 75 yards. Like he is, he has so. bust proof at this point to me that I would take him fifth overall in a redraft. The quarterback... In a one quarterback league. Yeah, the quarterback position has been one where we've always touted late round drafting because it is replaceable. You can even replace it off the waiver wire. And if you start at the quarterback five, which is right now is Kyler-Marie, it's 100%. It is replaceable. The gap between 5 and 12 and those guys is not that big a deal. But if you don't have one of the top...

32:25 ↗

three or four quarterbacks because Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Jalen Hertz, they run the ball so much and they're good at throwing the ball. So it's like you can't replace those guys. And you can throw Mahomes in there too. All right. So Mike went with Josh Allen. That puts me back on the clock. And my selection here, no disrespect to the other running backs involved, but it's Derek Henry. I'm going to take Derek Henry, again, it's similar logic to the Saquan Barclay situation. They also are involving him in the passing game. He's everything they have. That's very much the way it is with the Giants and Saquan Barclay. He's, Barclay's everything they have on offense. Henry's everything that the Titans have on offense. Coaching staff I trust more than the Giants. I still think Henry is in line to be a fantasy MVP.

33:16 ↗

It would have been my pick had I been on the clock. I think Henry will touch the ball 25 times every game the rest of the way. And if you watch, maybe his offensive line is worse. Maybe his offense is worse. But he's not. He takes half the team to take him down every single play. It's unbelievable. And as it gets colder, what? What do we get more of, Jay? More snow in Vermont. Watch out people. This is pretty easy to me because I was, when I was thinking about... Like, Derek Henry is one of the biggest, like, climate change advocate situation. He doesn't want to get warm up there. Yeah, so I was between, at the last pick, it would have been Derek Henry or Stefan Diggs. I am back up, so I will take Stefan Diggs. I think that there is a massive break after Cooper Cup, Justin Jefferson, and Diggs.

34:01 ↗

Those three are set apart at wide receivers. Yeah, I agree. Because looking at the wide receivers now, it's like, man, I know Devante Adams is, he's fourth, but it doesn't feel the same. Jamar Chase was drafted ahead of Biggs, but. And Adams had the monster game, but it was just, it was like three catches or so. He's, he's off next week, might be suspended for a game. Might be taking another week off. Yeah, I mean, like, that should factor in. If you're, when you're doing your rest of season rankings. You know what have been cool. Was if the photographer had snapped the picture mid-shelf. Oh, yeah. That'd be a good evidence. Your honor. Evidence this view of the sky. Yeah. And so to speak to what Mike's saying here, the players that we're factoring in, what is their current status? Are they about to go on by? Have they already had their by nobody? But you've got Jonathan Taylor has not been drafted yet.

34:56 ↗

And part of that's because we're not even sure if he's playing this week. And if he does, he's got the double injured leg. Yeah. So they double injured. Well, you got the foot and the ankle. Okay. Yes. Mike, you do the right thing here. What, take Jonathan Taylor? No, I don't think that's the right thing. That's not the right thing. I think I know. Jonathan Taylor, we might pick after you pick and do the right thing. Okay. I don't know what the right thing to you is, but the right thing to me is put respect on the man's name. from the Cleveland Browns. It is take Nicholas Chubb. That is correct. Okay, good. We're in agreement then. Yeah. That Nicholas Chub, he's having, it looks like he's having one. The time of his life. He's definitely doing that. But he is having himself a career year. He looks completely unstoppable. Even with Kareem Hunt taking away some of those touches inside of the red zone inside the five. No, Nicholas has been ridiculous. He's the entire, oh.

35:54 ↗

Ridiculous Nicholas? That's not bad. I like it. It's talking. And here is a factor of Nicholas Chubb. The player that I don't want to talk about, but Deshaun Watson is a good quarterback on the NFL field. He will be back. And this team will be better when it is not Jacoby Brissette as the quarterback. What's the... What was the Watson suspension, 11? 11, yes. So, I mean, Nicholas Chubb is doing all of this right now where he is, where a defense barely has to worry about the passing. It's very Derek Henry-esque. You have struggled with Chubb versus Henry in fantasy due to the Kareem Hunt factor. At least, you know, I don't have the data in front of me on those two guys right now.

36:46 ↗

Seems like they're willing to go to Nick Chubb in the Red Zone more than they have been in previous years, like in the five zone. Sure. So there are two running backs I would take over Chub here. And I don't, I don't, I'm not trying to disrespect Chub at all. He has been awesome. These other two running backs also are awesome. And I just put them all kind of in the, in the same tier. Chub would be at the end of that. It's worth pointing out the last four games. for the Browns. We knew with the Deshawn Watson suspension that the Browns were gifted, one of the easiest schedules to start the year. It was the jet, the Jets, the Steelers, once they lost three of their main defensive pieces, the Atlanta Falcons and the Chargers who are currently 32nd against the run. That's the last month. And yes, he has dominated them and that's great, but I still think that there are two running backs on the board that are.

37:37 ↗

rest of season going to be better than Chubb. Obviously, they have not been as good as Chubb so far. Yeah, my pick is Jonathan Taylor at number nine. I couldn't take him over Derek Henry. I don't think that was appropriate. But this is like we have to be objective here about the situation. We have an entire season where he was the most valuable player in fantasy football. And we have had him miss one game. And I'm not disqualifying Jonathan Taylor from the rest of the season because he missed one football game. This team, I think we talked about it yesterday. The Colts offense will improve. Pittman had missed a game. Alec Pierce hadn't been part of the early part of the season. They're going to make some improvements. Now, are they going to be top 15? I don't know. I don't care. Jonathan Taylor is going to get Henry and Barclay-level work for the rest of the season, and it could start this week. Sorry, because it's back to Nick Chubb.

38:33 ↗

You realize Nick Chubb has seven rushing touchdowns already. Last year, when he was the running back 11 in 14 games, he had eight. He's running for over six yards. I don't know if that's a point in his favor. Yeah, I was going to say. I think it's a point in his favor because what I'm saying of this feels like an out. Like a special year, like a 20 touchdown season? Yes, this is a special players always have one to two of those years in their career where it's just like. Holy crap. This player was unstoppable this year. Jason, you made the point about the schedule, and you said that there were a couple running backs you take over Chub. Jonathan Taylor's averaging 24.3 opportunities per game. Is Taylor one of the two? Taylor was one of the two, and the second one I'll take here, it's Austin Echler. He got off to a poor start to the season. I think that that got people too afraid. His utilization or snaps or whatever you don't want to say. It's like, well, he's not getting involved as much as he should. Look, he has been a top

39:31 ↗

three running a top 10 running back three weeks of the five and the other two weeks where he was disappointing I mean his usage was great 18 opportunities one game eight receptions the other game so he looks really like this last game when you watched him vintage just he looked exactly like he looked last year when he was a top three running back so someone that catches the ball that much for the chargers who are still going to get better when they get keenan allen back I I think Austin Echler is the last running back I would take over, over Chubb rest of the season. All right. So this one, this question. Out of curiosity real quick. Just one word, Jason. Taylor or Echler? Echler. Mike. Wow. Okay. It's injury factored in that I don't know if I would get them this week. And the offensive line and the offense of the Colts looks scary. All right. Speaking of a scary pick, I think I would do it, though.

40:31 ↗

because the future is murky, but the player's been great. I'm going with Tyreek Hill of the Miami Dolphins. It's scary because you have no idea what the quarterback situation is going to be for this team. It sounds like they're like, two was going to be out again. There was a note that they're like even, we talked, you know, about they're preparing for Skylar or that's the kid's name, right? Yeah. And like, so they're, they're being even extra careful with Teddy Bridgewater. But it is a long season. I do believe that tool will be back and Tyree Kill looks just as electric and unstoppable as he always has. Yeah, I mean, think about the zero-sum game that the dolphins are playing with to his health. If they put him out there too early and he gets concussed one more time, his season's over. It's over. Right. You're not seeing him again. So I think they're trying to do the right thing. This is a team that can compete. They want to take as many weeks as possible to minimize that opportunity. My pick here after Tyree Kill is going to be Travis Kelsey.

41:28 ↗

Yeah, that's fair. Same old, same old for Travis Kelsey. You talk about teams that know what's going to happen and it doesn't matter like Cooper Cup. I mean, you really should guard Kelsey around the goal line and four touchdowns later doesn't seem to matter. I think people know that, but they just can't. They can't and I've said this before in the studio. The brain of a defense is not one brain. It's not like somebody's playing mad and they can just, like a, like, they're all one person. It's, it's, you have to communicate. Right. People hand off Kelsey in the zone and somebody else doesn't pick him up and it, it's just tough. And he's the first read. We've, the holes in this offense for Kansas City. MVS, Juju, Hardman, Moore, mistakes throughout the game. None from Kelsey. He's my pick. Yeah, I, I think you're right to look at the tight ends here because if you have one of the.

42:26 ↗

then you are set apart from the rest of your league in a dynasty or a keeper league. I think the guy I'm going to take here, Mark Andrews, is untouchable, just completely and utterly like there is no way I would give up such an advantage if you're talking about going into the future too because Kelsey. He's still doing it. Unbelievable, but he's not going to keep doing it for, you know, next year and the next year and the next year. Mark Andrews is young. Right now, the gap between these two players in total points, you know, it isn't that much. And Mark Andrews, I would say rest of season. I would take him over Kelsey rest of season, but it's coin flip. You can have it whichever way you prefer. You know, I don't think Kelsey's always going to get four touchdowns on. What did he have?

43:16 ↗

25 yards. Yeah, something weird. But those two guys are complete difference makers. And I think there's a gap here. We've taken the elite of the elite running backs. We've taken the elite of the elite wide receivers. We've taken the elite of the elitist quarterback. So, yeah, I would say. The two tight ends should go. Yeah, and I think there might be one more running back that should be really considered here. But Mike, who are you taking with the 14th pitch? Just to fill. And Mark Andrews averaging over 95 air yards a game. That's more than A.J. Brown, Jefferson and Jamar Chase on a per game basis. It's funny because I agree with. It's ridiculous. Yeah. To me, there are two running backs that should be considered here. But I wonder if we've got the same guys or not. All right. Yeah, that's, you're psychinging me out.

44:04 ↗

Because do you take the player who's actually producing right now, or do you just take the opportunities and the incredible inefficiencies? Yeah. Yeah, that's what you did. No, no, no, I'm just agreeing. I can tell who you're talking about. Yes. So, Eno Benjamin. I would take, gosh, would I really put yourself on the clock. I'm trying to do that. And I can't select this player. So I'm. I'm going to take Jalen Hertz. I'm going to chicken out and I'm going to take a player who I really believe in moving forward and you're like, well, is it Jalen Hertz or Lamar Jackson? Lamar Jackson will, when he spikes, Jalen Hertz will not hit that because Jalen Hertz doesn't finish. He won't throw enough touchdowns. He doesn't have 300 yards regularly where he's throwing four touchdowns and running a few in, but he is so incredibly safe. You have one.

45:04 ↗

Poor game from Jalen Hertz where he was the quarterback 15, but other than that, 4, 3, 2, and 3. He's been sensational. Yeah, I don't agree with the Hertz pick, but that's the name of the game. I think Dalvin Cook is the pick here, and so I'm going to take him. I'm, I don't know, man. Dalvin Cook would be one of those two and he would be the top one. He's the top on my list. I just couldn't take Jalen Hertz over Dalvin Cook. Cook has redeemed himself in the past couple of weeks for me. the way this offense has functioned. The fact that they have trusted him, the fact he's gotten into the end zone. So I will go with Dalvin here. And I have a player I hope falls to me with my next pick. My concern with Dalvin is he was great last week against the Chicago Bears. He was, I mean, he had a ton of volume, but was inefficient against the Saints who are a much better defense. Against Detroit, he was great. Against Philadelphia, I mean, he. Which game did he get hurt in?

46:00 ↗

I think that was the Philadelphia one, but he still played in nearly 70% of the snaps. To me, he's just a known commodity as a talent. Those always work out. You know, Camara, you can change all the pieces around him. He just works out. Yeah, and that's another great name to bring up. I think there's right now three running backs I really like. I'm going to take one that might surprise you guys. It might not because it's me. But Bruce Hall has been. Yeah, I think it's fair. He's been unbelievable. He's already a top 10 running back. in fantasy. He's a second half of the year player, a young budding superstar who is now getting the work for the 2-0 Zach Wilson led Jets. Yeah, you hear that, Mike? I might sign him and play him against you too. Oh, oh, man, please. Just the anti-micke team? Yeah, just his enemies. Whatever you do, don't do that. So there's a cut. All right. So over mixing, over four net.

46:55 ↗

Over Camara. Those are the four names. I don't mind it at all. Those are the four names to me that I, I mean, you can make a strong argument for absolutely any one of them. I'm not saying Brees is so clearly better than them. But I want the upside. If this was my team that I'm drafting, I want what Jonathan Taylor did at the end of last year. I think you have a wider range of outcomes with Brees than you do those two other players. But that's fun. I mean, it's fun to have that upside that is still unseen. I mean, last week, if Michael Carter was hurt.

47:25 ↗

He scores two more times. Yeah. He's the number one on the week. Mike, you're back on the clock. I will take... This has been very fun, by the way. Yeah, so this, the two running backs I had talked about, it wasn't Dalvin Cook, but it was, do you take Josh Jacobs, who's actually looks fantastic is producing, or do you take the volume of Joe Mixon and hope that they figure it out? Because Joe Mixon has... He should have the most fantasy points in football. All the work is there, but dreadful. dreadful on the ground. But I would take the opportunities. I would take Joe Mixen, and I don't like it. Well, we'll go back to back with opportunities, not equalling production. I'm going to take Jamar Chase right after Joe Mixon. It will come for Jamar Chase. Fantasy World, take heart. It will. He has run more routes than anybody in football. They're going to get some things figured out with this average depth of target. I think that will apply to both Mixon and Chase.

48:25 ↗

It's not been a fun ride, but it's going to get better. Those talents are too good to be held down for very long. Chase is going to need to score, but those days are coming. Jason, you are on the clock with pick 19. The next best wide receiver is still Devante Adams. And while he has had some big games, he's had some quiet games, there's looming suspension. I'm going to take running backs until I feel like the elite are gone. To me, there are two left, which is Fournet and Camara. He has not performed where you want him to so far. But if I was on the clock drafting, I still believe Camara is a top running back rest of season. That's who I would draft. All right. Well, I'll take the dump truck. You're taking the dump truck. Yeah. That is Leonard Fournet. Yeah, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

49:21 ↗

are rounding into form. It was a slower start. And Rashad White is, the reason that Leonard Forenett to me fell to this point is Rashad White is starting to get a little bit more involved. But this team is getting better. They're going to score a bunch of touchdowns. So this is very difficult to, because I know that we only have four picks left. And the player that I'm having a hard time with, and I'll just be transparent. Because these aren't real rosters that are starting anywhere. We're all having a conversation. I don't know where to slot. two players. I don't know what to think about Damian Pierce rest of the season. I don't think he belongs here ahead of Alvin Camara. But the player that might belong ahead of Alvin Camara based on his return is DeAndre Swift. We've already seen the lineup, the way that Detroit can put points up on the board. DeAndre Swift on a per touch basis is so incredible that I think that this is where he belongs. I think this is DeAndre Swift's spot. So I will take him.

50:19 ↗

And I will hope that this injury is not more prolonged. I don't have insight, Kyle, I don't know if you do, as to when the projected return of DeAndre Swift is going to be, my brain is saying a couple weeks. Well, you got the buy week, and they'd always said that it's going to hold him out through the buy. So I fully expect him to be back week seven. Okay. Well, in that case, I definitely feel good about Swift here. And I'm trying to keep the long view in mind. If you were not one and four. and fighting to survive, then DeAndre Swift is the player that I would want to close the season out. Yeah, three picks left. You're right. It gets a little bit difficult. There are going to be players left off that are deserving of being drafted. I'm looking at. Taysam Hill. I'm looking, you know, look, Aaron Jones at running back is fantastic. Lamar Jackson should be drafted. He's a difference maker. But I do think at this point with the, with Swift being gone,

51:16 ↗

I'm going to go to Devante Adams at wide receiver. I don't think he should go past this spot. And I will go Lamar Jackson. Again, the difference making that the quarterbacks have had the top three, and Mahomes is closing the gap. Mahomes is re-entering the conversation of he is in this elite group. When Lamar Jackson can give you a 50-point week, and then when he's not giving you 50-point weeks, still good? I would like it's been it's the quarterback landscape is so difficult to comprehend how these top four guys like if you don't have them you are it's a struggle to win one player I have a question about the quarterback position I'll round the draft out before I ask it I'm going to go with AJ Brown to finish the draft okay I just think from a like baseline standpoint

52:08 ↗

upside touchdown upside this is the best team in football right now a j brown belongs on your fantasy roster i know last week was a slow one but byron murphy's kind of done that too uh number ones cooper cup and company so i'll go with a j brown uh there lots of other players could have been considered there uh you know you mentioned erin jones you know debo wasn't drafted Those are kind of the ones that stand out. I guess you could look at like C.D. Lamb, Ammon Ra. Yep, those two guys for sure. But the question I wanted to circle back to, because we haven't brought it up because he's not been bad. So sometimes when you have a top drafted quarterback that doesn't bust, you know, it's not Russell's story. Like the narrative isn't the Russell Wilson story. It's what do you do with and what do you think about Justin Herbert right now? Because Herbert was a top three quarterback last year.

53:01 ↗

And he has all those same skill sets that we know what he can do. And he's been injured. He's been playing through the rib cartilage issue. And he hasn't had Keenan- Right. So what's your like second-half sentiment around him? My second-half sentiment is that he would be the fifth quarterback taken. I'm not going to take him ahead of the three mobile rushing quarterbacks that have been dominating. Those three are set apart. If you want to take him ahead of Mahomes because you think Mahomes has been out. producing what, you know, he should. It's so many passing touchdowns versus rushing touchdowns. Great. But he's right there. He's in that conversation. Quarterback four and five are Herbert and Mahomes. But they, you know, we have to project that Herbert's going to be better than what he's been in order to take him there. So you feel confident taking Herbert?

53:47 ↗

over Kyla Murray, who's about to get DeAndre Hopkins back? I hope that Kyler Murray with Hopkins is what we have seen his peak be in the past. But right now, I am not fully confident in that. I am confident that Herbert is going to be better. Don't get me talking about Kyla Murray because I've got so many thoughts about this guy that let me just put, I'll put one thing out there into the world. Well, get talking about Kyler Murray. Thank you. I knew you were going to say that. That's why I said I'm going to put one thing out there. Kyle Murray's not the number one overall pick in the NFL draft if you tell me that the Arizona Cardinals aren't going to run him. If you tell me that Kyla Murray is not a dual threat, he's just a pocket passer and the Cardinals are not going to run him on purpose. He's not the number one pick. And he's not special. Enough. Right. You're saying NFL pick? Correct. Yeah. I'm saying that if you, because that's what it feels like. It feels like they got him and they said, we're not going to run you.
