Because trees can't grow on flat ground. Too shay. Go on, Andy. Flat as in nothing. Just grass. Are there trees on that flat ground over there? It's called the great... Trees make the ground all bumpy. Have you guys ever seen the Great Plains? No, I never have. It's very flat and very grassy. If you define an orchard, it would be trees on flat ground. Touchet.

13:58 ↗

Would you do this trade? I'm starting to give up on Randall Cobb, and I like the Carr Cooper connection. So would you, I'm guessing the trade is would you do Cobb for Cooper? Hmm. Hmm. Hmm. I would not. I would rather have Randall Cobb than Cooper. Cobb has been limited by his shoulder. He's getting a week of rest. I also think he's been limited by the fact not, Devante Adams going down has made an impact. Devante Adams was the...

14:26 ↗

still in the position, the outside position, that number one wide receiver position that's gone away. So defenses have now rolled extra in addition to Jordy being gone, with Devante being gone to Randall Cobb. But I would rather have Randall Cobb. Even with his bad weeks, he's still averaging well more than Amari Cooper. After the buy, I would rather have. Give me Cobb. Cob, man, I'm pretty tempted. I'm pretty tempted to get Cooper right there.

14:53 ↗

I think Cooper. This is just a matter of if Aaron Rogers was throwing to Cooper in Oakland, I'd be on the Cooper side. Yeah, I can understand that. I'm fine with the talent. I'm going to take, I think I'm going to take Cooper. Okay. Ray in Virginia, Jarvis Landry for Randall Cobb. So if you're in that situation, would you take Landry for Cobb? There's no chance I would do that. Is there, you just no chance you would take Landry? Not for Cobb. So the real question is, would you trade Landry for Cooper?

15:22 ↗

Who do you have higher? Landry or Cooper? That's why this trade isn't as close. I have Cooper higher than Landry. It would go Cobb, Cooper, Landry, rest of season. I am with you. I think in a PPR, though, I would go Randall Cobb still first, then Landry, then Cooper. Landry is so consistent in...

15:44 ↗

uh in a ppr and he consistently does not get touchdowns other than the one but he yes he's not scoring he did score last week but landry is among the league leaders in red zone targets and end zone targets so these are this is one of those things where i think the market will correct itself and landry will start to score some touches you're hoping he can get those in zone touchdowns uh that is one of my better quotes touchdowns i like end zone touchdowns as opposed to what midfield

16:15 ↗

Steve Jobs, autobiography. Movies coming up. I actually was able, I've used Audible for years. And when I went back to college and got my degree just a couple years ago, I was actually able to get some of my school books on there and listen to them. That was very interesting to me. And I have stockpiled the Game of Thrones. I mean, clearly everything is insanity right now and we are extremely busy. But I've got all five Game of Thrones.

17:21 ↗

books waiting for me. You're ready to rumble? As soon as the offseason hits, which the offseason never truly hits for the fantasy footballers we continue throughout. But Game of Thrones, man, I am diving in. Yeah. Yeah. So check it out. Get any book that you want, a book of your choice for free. Just go to audiblepodcast.com slash ballers and grab your free audiobook download. So let's continue in the mailbag. This one comes in from Andy.

17:48 ↗

Hey, Andy. In Boston. Oh, good. Sure it is. I'm not in Boston, guys. Rest of season, Barnage or Olson? Olson going away. It's a PPR in addition. And so, I mean, Olson's targets and receptions are incredible barnage. Yeah, but how many butt catches does he have? Zero. Yeah, so Barnage, my league scores 50 points for butt catch. I was just going to say, if your league's got scoring for butt catches, barnage is going to be your man.

18:17 ↗

Otherwise, I mean, Barnage got two touchdowns last week, but a lot of people don't realize he got three receptions total, two of those. So he converts the high percentage of his catches to touchdown. Barnage is fine, but he is no Greg Olson. Olson's getting 30% of the target share in Carolina. He is the guy. Drake in Quebec, Canada. Hey, bonjour! I can't go on. I own both Jimmy Graham and Greg Olson. Should I hold on to both and play matchups, or do I try to trade one of them? If so, which one?

18:44 ↗

I would try and trade Jimmy Graham off the heels of that humongous game. Me too. Yeah, I think Jimmy's going to continue performing well, but I still agree he's the one to trade of these two, so I'm not going to get in the way of that. So you think Graham over Olson rest of season? No, no, no, no. All I'm saying is that, like, I think Graham will have a good rest of season, but I still like Olson more. And if you can trade Graham on the heels of that and get value, go do it.

19:12 ↗

So, and that's a question a lot of people are asking is whether Jimmy has the ability to do this the rest of the season. I think he does. I think he has the ability to do exactly what he did the rest of the season, what he's done, which is he's going to have his games and he's going to have his stinkers. But that's every tied in, almost. That's almost every tied in. I mean, you go look at Greg Olson. He had a couple, what, three-point games? I mean, Jimmy Graham right now is number six. He had...

19:40 ↗

I would say you had three good games and three bad ones. So you're saying 50-50. Every other week you're going to have a good one. Every other week you're going to have a bad one. With other guys like Greg Olson, every now and then you're going to have a bad one. But I don't think it's going to be as often. You are correct. I do think that Russell Wilson is starting to trust him a little bit more. So we'll see what happens. I'm not sure. Carl in Geneva, I have the opportunity to stash a wide receiver. So, rest of season and rest of career.

20:06 ↗

Ready? Score them both ways. Wait, what? Keeper League. Rest of season, who do you like more? And then rest of career, who do you like more? Philip Dorset, Devin Funches, Doreal Greenbeckham, and Stefan Diggs. Woo. I already know my answer. Giving it to us. Rest of season, I'm going to take Stefan Diggs. As am I. Me too. Rest of career, I'm going to take the guy with the Hall of Fame, the most likely to have a Hall of Fame quarterback, and that is Philip Dorset.

20:34 ↗

I agree with Greenbeck. I'm very close behind. I'm definitely on Stefan Diggs and long term. I was really high on Dorset when he was drafted, but they were using Moncrief, and then they re-signed. They used Dorset last week. Yeah, but, yeah, I'm just saying I thought that T.Y Hilton was going to be gone after the draft. But I still will take the guy with Andrew. Eventually, Andre Johnson will be gone not clogging the field with his oldness and gray hair. Hey,

21:04 ↗

Andrew Luck under threw him a couple times because he didn't realize how fast Andrei Johnson is. Yeah, that's probably what happened. Seriously. Grigario. Gregario in where? South America. America. America? America. Oh, South America. Hold on. We're going to audit this. What do you mean? He clearly meant America. Did he? Yeah, he's just being fun. I hope there's a country that is called South America. America. America.

21:31 ↗

Yeah, I have both Martavis, Bryant, and Antonio Brown. I was wondering what your thoughts are on having both of them in the lineup. Are they startable? I think yes with Big Ben. Yeah, I was going to say. I think you could start them both with Big Ben because, you know, let's say you, what's the over under on Big Ben touchdowns per week? Is it about two and a half three? I would say two and a half. I mean, where are they going? They're going to those two guys. Yep. I completely agree. You do not want to start them both this week. I don't want to start them both against Denver.

22:01 ↗

What's that? I wouldn't want to start them both against Denver. The question from Artavis Bryant coming into the year has always been usage where last year he seemed to be the kind of one trick down the field. Just go to the nine, fly down the field. And we have a very small sample size of we don't know exactly how he'll be utilized, especially when Big Ben comes back. But he was involved. And his touchdown was a short pass. And his end zone.

22:29 ↗

Or I'm sorry, his red zone touchdown. And then we saw him with his freakish alien ability take that quick slant all the way out. Yeah. Yeah, he is supremely talented, the alien.

22:42 ↗

Marty McBride. Good friend of the show. Matt wants to know he's plagued by bye weeks, underachievers. Who does he start between Duke Johnson or Melvin Gordon this week? The matchups are Melvin Gordon against the Raiders and Duke Johnson against the Rams in St. Louis. Melvin Gordon. He's still going to be the starter. They came out and they...

23:07 ↗

wouldn't specifically name him, but what they said, what the head coach was saying was basically they're going to keep giving him the ball, they're going to move on from this moment. And obviously, if he fumbles again, I think he's going to be benched again, but he's got a good matchup. He has looked good on film. He just needs to learn how to hold on to that ball, man. I think the coach was saying, please, please Melvin Gordon, do not make me give the ball to Brandon Oliver. I will if I have to. I think Gordon and Abdullah have a water bet.

23:36 ↗

on fumbles. And it's currently tied, I believe, at four. So that's a tight competition. Four fumbles and six games. Is that bad? That's no good. No, not good. Mike in New Jersey, in a half-point PPR league, he needs three of these guys. Carlos Hyde, Dionne Lewis, Garrett Blunt, Christine Michael. Who should he start? So which one do you sit?

24:02 ↗

He's got four guys, start three. Dionne Lewis is going to be in. I wouldn't be starting Lewis and Blunt against the Jets. I agree. So against the Jets, with the best run defense, you've got to go Dionne Lewis as your starter. So that means it's the question is the answer. Say it, Andy. That means you're starting Christine Michael. Yeah. Actually, watch the practice reports. If he's not guaranteed to get a good workload, throw blunt out there.

24:29 ↗

Come on. All right, Barron. A soggy blanket. Barron in Houston. Delaney Walker or Ben Watson for tight in this week. Ooh. He is also a foot clan member on Join the Foot.com. So Walker gets the Falcons. And Walker will be playing with his old friend. Zach Mettenberger. Zach Mettenberger. Well, Walker had a good week this week anyway.

24:50 ↗

He was like 8 for 98 or something like that. Right. Well, I'm just saying that he has a history established already with Metenberger. And where is Benjamin Watch? Give me Delaney. Where's Benjamin Watson? He is playing at Indianapolis. On the road, I don't expect them to be as good as at home. So yeah. Yeah, I'm taking Walker. Walker, Texas Ranger. Yep. John in Ottawa. Bonjour. There you go. With Eifert on by, do I roll out Witten at the Giants?

25:18 ↗

Charles Clay at Jacksonville or Benjamin Watson at Indianapolis. I would roll out Witten. Yeah, I would roll out Witten. Both him and Clay, I think, are good options, especially with the missing pieces for Clay. I mean, the fact that other guys are gone, but the New York Giants defense has given up a lot to the tight end and could have this last week to Zach Gertz if Sammy Biscuits could just...

25:46 ↗

hit him on some of those touchdown runs. So I would go Jason Witten with the quarterback there is going to be checking down a lot. So I agree. I like Witten. All right. I'm going to test your Bortles love, Mike, because you have them as your stream of the week. Yes. Blake Bortles against Buffalo. This is from The Boss. I was really hoping you read it correctly. The boss. The boss.

26:11 ↗

or Philip Rivers versus Oakland. Bortles versus Buffalo Rivers versus Oakland. Blake Bortles is my stream of the week, but Philip Rivers is in every week started right now. There's no possible way you sit him down. He is on fire and he's going up against Oakland who have not had very much success stopping quarterbacks and wide receivers. I look for Rivers to have a top five week. I would gladly sit Rivers in a bad matchup as I would Blake Bortle's, but this is a great matchup.
