Part of that was I got to see a lot of Kelvin Benjamin. And yes, targets were not, some targets were not close to him, but there were some targets that were close to him that he should have caught and was not even close to catching him. Yeah, he's not a great player overall. Tariq Cohen, stash your trash. Man, this is a tough one.

28:30 ↗

I don't think he's a stash. I would be willing to. I lean that way as well. He's a guy that is. Is he a hesitant stash again? Yeah, I mean, it really is because he's a guy might. Like a junior high pubescent mustache. If you're in a deeper league. Just hesitant. A couple hairs not coming out. Certainly. But you don't shave it because you want to be a man. You're in a 14 team league. Shave it. Then I would, I would say, yeah, I mean, maybe even pick him up. But Philip Lindsay.

28:59 ↗

I would much, much, much rather have. So, I mean, if there are waiver pickups right now that I would say, absolutely, if I have to drop someone like Cohen to pick up someone better, then you got to do that. And this is another, because it's so early in the season, guys, throw out what you spent on these players in the draft. It doesn't matter anymore. It's just, you know, when you try to imbue what this guy was drafted ahead of that guy, irrelevant. The quicker you get that out of your system.

29:27 ↗

early in the season, the better it will be for you. That's great advice, Jay. Absolutely. Sammy Watkins, stash or trash? Yeah, speaking of, Sammy Watkins, stash or trash? I'm going to stash him for now. I'm going to pass on this question. Oh, stash or pass? I have to stash right now. Take a look at what happened in the actual Kansas City game.

29:51 ↗

15 completions. Yeah, it was a weird game. It was a weird game. Travis Kelsey had won for Tyree Kill and Patrick Mahomes. So I'm not, I'm not ready to move on from Sammy Watkins yet. It just stinks. It doesn't feel good. Coming off of the preseason where Watkins was irrelevant and now you go into week one and he's irrelevant. Are we going to be at the end of this season? Do you remember the scene of the end of Lord of the Rings when they go off in the boat?

30:20 ↗

into the sunset. You push them off. I feel like Sammy Watkins and Amari Cooper might end up on that boat. And we're just waving goodbye. And we're just pushing them over the falls. I feel like that's the boat where when you push them, you're also drawing back that flaming arrow. Oh, the Viking funeral? It's the Viking funeral. Sammy's doing that. He'll just jump into his bank vault to protect himself from that arrow. Yeah, goodness. All right. Duke Johnson, stash or trash.

30:49 ↗

I'm going to stash him. It was a weird, rainy game, but he is a guy I am watching like crazy. One target. No, no, no. One reception. He had six targets. Yes, that's what I meant. One reception was troubling. Corlin Sutton, Mike, stash or trash? He had an interesting game because he had 45 yards receiving on two receptions. He was out there a lot. I think this is what you're going to get with Corlin Sutton, though. You're going to get, if he makes the most of the deeper opportunities,

31:19 ↗

you'll be okay. I think you probably stash him. I... But I guess it just depends on who. Like, would you rather have Brandon Marshall or Cortland Sutton on your roster? I'd rather have Brandon Marshall right now. Yeah. He's the number three. Mani Sanders still got it. Demeris Thomas still has something. So until those things go away, Cortland Sutton is, as a rookie, is not going to establish himself as a first or second...

31:47 ↗

read in a lot of these decisions depend on your roster if you need to start like if you needed to start if you have to play with that position then i would much rather have brandon marshall but if i'm saying okay i've got my my starters are intact who would i rather have on my bench as depth brandon marshall or courtland sutton sure then i would go sutton because the ceiling over the next few weeks if i don't need them to start right now i i still think it's higher well i guess i i guess i got

32:14 ↗

My guys. Oh, no. The waivers have run. The waivers have run. You overpaid, didn't you? I'm sure I overpaid. But I made a, oh, I barely overpaid. No. I paid. So, all right, this is what, welcome to our league. $44. I spent $44 on George, on George Kittle. Well, I was not getting him. However, the next highest bid was $40. The next highest after that was 27. Yeah. Look.

32:43 ↗

I said it yesterday on the show. I was a big, big believer. If you look at the routes that George Kittle ran, this was a center of the offense performance to me. You've got an opportunity to grab. Mike, do you think I overspent with $44? It's a lot of money, but I do believe by the end of the season, George Kittle is going to be one of those tight ends that you actually just plug in.

33:13 ↗

And you play him every single week. And now you're not worried about your tight end position anymore. Yeah, I mean, obviously I wanted him. Brooks and I made a claim of $27. And when we did that, I was like, man, we're probably overspending. But I believe in him. I mean, I went back and I looked at my stats for him on the season. Turns out I was the, I was surprised. I was the second highest.

33:37 ↗

on Kittle of the 150 experts in the draft season. So I'm like, man, apparently I believe in him more than I thought I did, according to my stats. Mike was dead on. Mike was dead on about George Kittle. Yeah, I'm going full in. I'm going to spend 27. I'm getting them. Nope. $44. Yeah, $44. Locking it in. I also ended up with Philip Lindsay in that league. No, not bad. So we'll see. Back to stash or trash.

34:05 ↗

We'll fly through these before the Thursday night preview. Latavius Murray stash or trash? Looks like a handcuff at this point. So if you're into that sort of thing, then you can stash him. Alfred Morris. Oh, you got to stash him. 100% stash. Marlon Mack. Stash. He could, I mean, he should be the starter. You don't drop a starting running back. Yeah. Are you considering drop? Please do. I'd pick him up. I mean, I know I've been the Marlon Mac guy of this table. Well, you don't think Mac's going to come in and like.

34:33 ↗

Heinz and Wilkins, we had no carries, right? Heinz is the problem. Naim Hines got a ton of play for this team. And sure, okay, Marlon Mack is the starter because he gets the first snap. But this thing is trending into a cerebrus with Mac, Wilkins, and Hines. And Robert Termin will be. You say Hines is the problem? Yeah. That's exactly what Hunt's ketchup said. Bad. I'm going to need. Bad. Real bad. That was real bad. Real bad.

35:02 ↗

Yeah. Matthew Stafford? That might have been the worst ever. Matthew Stafford. That might have been your stupid dad joke's books sitting around the office. Oh, it's so good. You're infected. You're infected. Yeah, I'm infected. That was trash. Stash or trash? That was trash. The joke was trash. Matthew Stafford. What do you do? San Francisco this week. Look, at San Francisco, I'm still willing to roll with them. You know, I'm going to look at all of the players. When it's a Stafford level guy.

35:32 ↗

That's a, I'm 100% willing to play him. I'm not fearful from week one that he's just the worst quarterback on the planet. This is what, like a nine-year vet. We've got plenty of tape. We know what Matthew Stafford is. However, he's always, all of these guys to me are in the cut zone where if there's a better matchup, if you think Tyrod Taylor going to New Orleans has a higher ceiling, then I'm always willing to cut a quarterback. Quarterbacks after week one, when they, when.

36:01 ↗

They gave you a performance like Matthew Stafford did. That is one of the hardest things to get over. I'm thinking back to last year with Kirk Cousins, and he came out and did this. I mean, he had a really bad week one. And then everything was perfectly fine for Kirk Cousins, and he was a top six guy. But it's hard to go back in when a quarterback destroys your team like that. Let's jump into the Thursday night preview.

36:29 ↗

Man, we're already in week two. Yep. And we're getting to the mailbag. Baltimore Ravens, 1-0. Don't know what we know about them. They played a really bad Bills team. Cincinnati Bengals. Thursday night, looking forward to this game. The game's in Cincinnati. It's a very interesting one. The line is one. It's a plus one to the Bengals, so they're not favored at home. And then 44 point over under.

36:57 ↗

Look, divisional game, I would take the under in this one. I think it's going to be a dog fight. I know, Mike, you said you thought Joe Flacco might have a good week. I don't believe it. I don't believe it. I don't think on Thursday night football, divisional games like this, I'm not buying into that. In fact, I don't really want to start anybody at all in Baltimore, other than I think you can move forward with Alex Collins because Kenneth Dixon is out. So Collins is the only guy I like. Do you like anybody else, Jason?

37:24 ↗

Not really from Baltimore. Obviously, if you have Joe Mixin, you're going to continue to start him. He looks like a true workhorse. And then you're AJ Greens. I pluralize that like there were others. But I think that's it, right? There's only one AJ Green? No, other Bengals. But I mean... Oh, I thought you meant you pluralized Green. Baltimore has been incredibly good against a tight end for...

37:47 ↗

Ever for, you know, Harbaugh era. So I'm not in love with Eiffert this week. I mean, you know, he's always a touchdown possibility. So if you throw him in, it's, look, you could do worse. The tight ends are all garbage right now. But yeah, there's not going to be a lot of fantasy love here. This is the first Thursday night game where it's short preparation time. And we've seen a lot of those games just be really ugly.

38:16 ↗

really offensively lousy games. And then you're telling me that it's Andy Dalton Joe Flacko on top of that with two pretty good defenses. I agree with Andy. I think it's going to be a low-scoring affair that I don't really, I'm not looking forward to don't want to have a ton of players in this match. Last week, each Ravens running back had a rushing touchdown.

38:36 ↗

Each Ravens wide receiver had a receiving touchdown. It's an Oprah Winfrey situation. You'll get a touchdown. You'll get a reception. I'm going to. Crabtree, Brown, Sneed, and then Collins, Alan Dixon. I'm going to read you something that may surprise you. So last year, the final five games of the season, Joe Flacco averaged 25 completions for over 250 yards and nearly two touchdowns a game. Joe Flacco.

39:06 ↗

Watching the game, this was a far more aggressive Ravens team. Last week, Joe Flackle threw the ball in the red zone eight times. He had three red zone passing touchdowns on a team that you can run the crap out of. You can run the ball against Buffalo, and they have a pretty decent secondary. And the Ravens passing offense took care of business. I'm not at the point where I'm ready to stream Joe Flacco and be all in.

39:36 ↗

But your eyebrow went up when you watched the game. Yes. We got to stop just trashing Joe Flacko as a fantasy quarterback. Kind of like. I can totally get behind that. The Bordles mindset. Yes. There was a really, really rough stretch for Joe Flacko. I'm not going to overlook that. Honestly, if this game were a Sunday game at home, to me that would be very different than a short preparation going on the road.

40:05 ↗

All right. Here's a different question for you before we jump into the mailbag. Would you rather have Blake Bortles or Derek Carr? Oh, Bortles. Oh, wait, are you saying as an NFL team or for fantasy? Dynasty for fantasy. Bortles. Mike? It's not close to me. Yeah. Oh, that is, that's a very, very difficult question because of team philosophy. Two years ago, MVP candidate for Derek Carr.

40:34 ↗

I saw some power rankings from 2017. Their quarterback situation was ranked number two. Yeah. In the long-term prognosticating. It's just funny how things change. Right. Except for Bortals, who's been basically a top 12 quarterback for the last three years. Yeah. It's crazy. What about in the NFL, though? Well, if I'm saying if I, who do I want for my... Like, if you're an NFL franchise. Who do you want to be your quarterback? Car. I would rather have a car than Bortles. Can I say neither. You can say neither or Dak Prescott.

41:05 ↗

Oh, no. Oh. Come on, quarterbacks. Be better. Let's jump into the mailbag. Mailbag. I'm really excited to have George Gittle. I really am. You should be. You should be $44 excited. I don't have a choice. I have to be excited at this point. The worst part of that is here's the problem. You could have drafted him? Well, sure. Mistakes were made. It was kind of like luckily in Dynasty, I grabbed Philip Lindsay the week before. I'm thinking of all the fab I saved, right? Right.

41:39 ↗

With Kiddle, the great fear of the fantasy owner, especially if you invested what I did, which, look, that's a lot. Yeah, that's a lot. But if he stinks this week and you spend 44 fab, pivoting is hard. I have to roster him for a while now. Pot committed. Or do I? Tell me, that's question one. I am, well, you don't want to overreact based on one bad performance this coming week, so, but.
