I so desperately want some shares of Jonathan Taylor this year because I believe in him so much from college. I just don't know if I can pay up

for what I'm expecting the beginning of the season to look like. Yeah, fair enough. All right, Facebook question from Alex. I haven't heard a lot of talk about T.Y. Hilton. When would you all draft him? When is he considered a value? I believe he is in our values in the ultimate draft kit. Yeah, it was interesting because we had our early off-season discussions where I think the three of us were.

very in on T.Y. Hilton, if I remember it correctly, I could speak for myself. I was, like, I think T.Y. Hilton is probably going to end up a top 10 wide receiver once I do my stat projections. And I think that's where the cooling happened is we all did our projections for the, for the UDK. And T.Y. Hilton ended up lower than I thought he was going to be, right? Like right now I have him at wide receiver 19, which is still tremendous. That's the top 20 wide receiver. I would very much like to have him.

on my fantasy team. Do you guys have ADP numbers right now? Yeah, I do. He's being drafted at 27 at the wide receiver position. I have him at 17, which is why he's, I mean, those two, you know, the gap in number there is why he's in the value. Yeah, that's a great value. Yeah, I do feel very similar to you, Mike. I remember Andy being so thrilled with how high I had T.Y. Hilton in our early rankings when it was just looking at players and sorting them around. Where do you have?

I have them at 29. Oh, boo! Look, that's how the stats lie. I've got them with 120 targets, 70 receptions, over 1,000 yards, and six touchdowns. So it's good, not great. Give me some surprising names in front of him.

Apparently Stefan Diggs will be one of those names. Stefan Diggs is ahead of him in my rankings. That's gross. Bro, that's gross. Bro, that's gross. But like look at the names and see if there's any that surprise you and then talk through. Yes. Yeah, I would actually draft them in front of Hilton. Three players that are ahead of them that in my rankings, how they fell, and I'll say whether or not I would actually draft them ahead of them. Jarvis Landry is one.

I would probably rather go for the ceiling of Hilton over Jarvis Landry. Hilton could be a clear one, and Landry has a floor that could happen if Odell Beckham steps up. Michael Gallup, I have ahead of him. I would draft Michael Gallup ahead of T.Y. Hillen. I would not draft Gallup ahead of T.Y. Hilton. You're drafting a known two versus a known one, and I get that. Hilton's fantasy finishes. I just want to illustrate it, some with Andrew Luck, some without, one with injury.

In games, in seasons where he's played 14 or more games, which has been all of them, except for this past year. 24th, 19th, 11th, 21st, 5th, 25th, 14th. So he's never been outside the top 25th in his career when he's played 14 of more games. Yeah, he's, but he's a quintessential. It's funny because we look at him with some of those big Andrew Luck years as this, you know, we had that year where he was the number five wide receiver. And.

For the most part of his career, he's been a wide receiver two. Like, he's finished as a wide receiver two, the majority of his career. So that's where I have him. Obviously, a new quarterback coming in, which is better than have him outside. You don't have him as a two. Okay, that's fair. But I view him as a wide receiver two right now for this upcoming season. I think that's fair. And that's what we do as well with our ranking. And I would draft him at 20, at the wide receiver 20.

I don't feel the need to play the ADP game. I would much rather have him than a guy like Michael Gallup, though, just in the way that I play fantasy. Michael Gallup could disappear from week to week. I think Hilton on the field is the one every single week. Yeah. And, I mean, Phil Rivers is, I still think Phil Rivers has it. Clearly, you've shortened his name. Well, he had to rebrand. Oh, he's Phil now? To me. In Indianapolis, he's Phil? Very much needed a rebrand based on last year.

He's actually shortened it even more just now. He's now P. River. Hmm. That's not great. No, you don't want to pee in the river. His marketing team, they're still working on it, but that's where he is right now. Right now, P. Rivers. Hmm. No, I shortened it to P. River. Oh, I'm his marketing team. You have changed his last name as well. But that means he's P. River. That's not a good nickname. No, Pee River. That's a great nickname. You want to go for a swim in the Pee River? I don't.

And you know what? I think that's an appropriate nickname, if I'm being honest. I thought I could get you on board. Nope. No, I'm off. Look, I've actually been going on Phil's Rivers as well. And then he's like, no, no, that's actually perfect. Thank you. I, uh, poor Phil. Yeah, you got to hope. Oh, no, he's back to Phil. You got to hope that this. I'm not going to say poor P. River. No. I mean, come on. Because that's his own fault of his P. River.

That's shame on the P. River. Not a lot of fish are living in P. River. That's for sure. Philip Rivers. It's not good fishing. Or whatever we're calling him is far better than Jacoby Brissette was last year. Yeah. So that's the hope for T.Y. Hilton and some of these other options. And the Colts landing spot was... That nickname is not going on his shirt. No. No, it's not sticking. Unless he just stinks.

He comes out and just... Well, you know what stinks? Pea River. Pea River stinks. You don't want to go down to the shore of Pea River. You don't go tubing on Peer River. No, no, no, no. Yeah, so... I'm lowering Ty by Hilton now because of this whole conversation. The thing is, is his offensive line is obviously better than it was last year for the charges. Yeah, it's twice as good. His weapons...

I think are worse. No, it's a fair point. I mean, it's a different identity of a team and they don't have, I mean, no Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, Hunter Henry. Austin Eckler. Yeah, yeah. It's close, though. It's not that far. Yeah, it's, it's near itself. But I think that Philip Rivers looked like he lost a step last year. He keeps telling everybody, go watch the film. And every time he's like saying that, I'm like, don't, you don't want to say that. He's never had a step, so to speak. I mean, he's an efficient.

The problem was you were losing painfully, Jason, and the Chargers were losing painfully because of the checkdown situation or remember a couple of the games. He wouldn't check it down, kept throwing it down the field, couldn't come back and win games. There's a lot of peripheral pain with Philip Rivers and last season on the Chargers. But he wasn't that bad of a quarterback. He wasn't. He threw 20 interceptions. Yeah, he did.

Yeah, no, no, he felt like he was trying to put too much. He's at a couple of those years where he's done that. That's true. He threw 21 interceptions in 2016, the following season came back with 10 interceptions. So that speaks to your point. And I think the offensive line changes things a lot for Pete River. All right. make more trades with leaguemates who either don't really send out trade offers very often or just aren't very active in terms of trading. Thanks guys. Let me know. Keep up the great work. Yeah, it's a great question. And we get that one all the time. And I love the heart of the question, which is I want my league to be better. I want my league to have more activity. And that's what makes fantasy fun. That's what the show was built on was the idea that, look, you are, you know, there's only one winner at the end of the year. Hopefully it's you for a lot of you.

Congratulations, for some of you, not so much. But the whole journey should be fun. The whole journey should be enjoyable. Having a league with three or four dead teams or no activity is not fun. So we come back to the communication piece where you want to get more trades done. You need to have the league being discussed in general in a centralized location all the time where people are. Smack talk. Yeah. Breaking news happens. And somebody gets on and says, oh, this looks really nice for my player.

and mocks everybody else. That's the community that kind of facilitates activity. I would also say make stronger trade offers. If you're trading with someone who doesn't usually trade, don't do the strategy where you go, well, I think I'm going to end up here.

So I'm going to offer less. So, you know, it's like, it's called the Major League Baseball negotiating strategy right now with the MLBPA. Exactly. Like you put in an offer for a house in real estate and you're like, I'm willing to go 15 more, but I'm going to offer less and then end there. Don't do that with people that don't make trades. Offer them a trade that's really good from the get-go from their side where they go, I like this because that's one way to- I like it.

I don't like it. It's tough because you're changing the culture of your league. It starts with the communication hub, but it won't happen overnight. It's going to be tough. Yeah, and some of that might mean injecting some new blood into your league. You know, a couple people that have never made a trade or die out halfway through the year. It's time to move on. Do your best to get people you personally know in the league. It's actually amazing how a couple of new people.

Whenever we need a value question on Sonny Michelle, we can count on Al to bring it down. I don't know what to do with Sony Michelle because the arguments can be just completely used against themselves where it's, okay, Jared Stidham's the quarterback. They're going to have to rely on Sony Michelle more. But if your quarterback stinks...

The defense doesn't have to worry about the quarterback and then can just stop Sony Michelle from doing anything. Which has been proven possible. Yeah, we have seen that. Does Sony Michelle physically have it? Did it already evaporate from his body? I have him, let me find him. I think I have him in my later 20s.

And I've been in mock drafts. I've met RB 28. Right now in best ball, he's the RB 35. Okay. So I have him above that. But that's where it makes sense because I'll be in mock drafts and go, all right, Sony Michelle is by far my highest ranked running back. I'm still not going to draft him. Eight of 16 games last year with 18 and more carries. Yeah, I think Sony Michelle is a value. He's a guy that if he can stay healthy.

He could have 270 carries this season. Now, the touchdown upside is not there because nobody's projecting a prolific offense. But I do think with Bill Belichick, you know, he's going to, he's going to find a way to win games, and that's going to be defense and running the ball. Would you rather take a chance? This comes from Judge Diomati. He has a question for you. Sorry. Would you rather take a chance on James White or Sonny Michelle?

In a half or full. I would rather take, in a half PPR, I would take Sony Michelle because I think Tom Brady and his quick decisions, his checkdowns for age, his timing throws, you know, that's all gone. I'm not going to put, you know, the pass catching running back into Jared Stidham's hands and say he's going to be just as good as he's always been. Sony Michelle's year is such a weird year.

I'm looking at these. He had these just at the beginning. I mean, his first game of the year, 15 carries for 14 yards, that point nine, right? Two weeks later, nine carries for 11 yards, right? Then he goes four, you know, these games, five for eight. That's a whole game for Sony Michelle. Then he ends the year. Do you know what he ended the year with? 19 for 89, 21 for 96, 18 for 74. In a touch, damn. I mean, those games are great. What is the truth?

The truth is what you guys said, that he might end up a value, but predicting the offense is difficult. Well, and when you say a value, so this is something worth considering. I have him at Running Back 27. He's being drafted at Running Back 35. You could say, okay, that is a value. If he finishes at Running Back 27, as I'm projecting, and you draft him at 35, you can argue you had a value. I would argue it's a worthless pick.
