Ingram, I like him for fantasy this year, and I really like J.K. Dobbins moving forward. He projects well in everything that I like about an NFL running back. But that's projecting. Right, you don't know. Projections go haywire sometimes and for things that you can't even calculate. Miles Sanders, though, feels like a proven running back in the NFL. He's already come through for fantasy purposes. He is, he.

has three-down ability. That remains to be seen whether or not the chicken or egg situation with Doug Peterson of the running back by committee is that he's been forced to do it, just never had the player. Well, he's got a player now in Miles Sanders who could be a three-down guy. So the ceiling for Miles Sanders, I believe, is higher than the other two guys. Let me paint the ugly picture for the Baltimore scenario. Here's the ugly picture. You take the Baltimore side of the trade.

You start Mark Ingram this year. Mark Ingram performs worse than Miles Sanders on the totality of the year. Next year, they bring Ingram back and they split the load. Right. And you don't know who to start week to week. And you could have had multiple years of Miles Sanders giving you much better production. But I think the path will be slightly, I think it'll end up clearer than that. I think it'll be Ingram this year, Dobbins next year. I'm going to.

It's close, but I'm going to go that way. Yeah, it's very close. And I think that what this might come down to is a little bit of looking at your roster and say, do I need the bigger punch? I think that's Miles Sanders or the better depth. Because obviously one advantage of having Ingram and Dobbins is a little bit of injury mitigation. Either guy gets injured, you've got the other one who will take a step up in fantasy. But if you're starting one guy and you don't.

And you've got depth. I would take the Miles Sanders trade in general. In a vacuum, I think I would rather have Miles Sanders. And you do have an extra roster spot with the Miles Sanders side. Right. We've had this discussion a couple weeks ago. I think Mike and I would both jump on him in the back of the first round. That is correct. So Jason, I think, was a little bit cooler. I'm a little bit cooler on him just because of the risk, but it's still near there. It's back of the first, top of the second. It's basically a matter of who is gone. I would take King and Drake ahead of Delvin Cook right now just to mitigate that risk. But I think that's where I break. You know, I'm not taking...

Aaron Jones or Joe Mixin or those guys over Dalvin Cook. So that's kind of how I see it. Wherever that falls at the end of the first, back of the first, back of the first, beginning of the second, somewhere in that range. All right. Facebook question from John. Does the coronavirus increase the value of handcuffs in redraft leagues? Sure.

That wasn't your answer. That was you acknowledging the question. That was me acknowledging the question. And not a doctor, but I don't know, man. I think so. This is, this is a question that's really just a, it's a philosophical question about whether or not you are building for better depth. You know, our normal strategy is we, we draft a strong starting lineup. And then we're swinging for the fences with all of our later picks. We're trying to get guys who could.

blow up in week one and be something, or we could cut them and move on. But I do think that there is a world where you might want, you know, you talked earlier about a last episode, a sleeper in Randall Cobb, right? He is not, his ceiling is nothing special. But he's, I can agree with that. Yeah. He's paid a lot of money to be an integral part of a, of a team. And if you need to start him, you're going to be okay. Maybe that's a better piece to pick because.

if a starter, and this isn't just handcuffs for running backs. I mean, all players are, you know, susceptible to viruses. So I think it's just a matter of you might want to build a little bit more depth into your teams than just going for upside. I mean, I think the argument against handcuffing a player has always been you might just be able to have a contributing depth piece that is always valuable as opposed to waiting for an injury. There's also an argument in the, you know, again.

It doesn't need to be stressed. We're not doctors. We don't know how this will affect the NFL or whether it will affect it a lot or a little. I will say this. A handcuff place for the same team is the potential starter that could be sick. Sure. And having a depth piece on a different team might not be so bad either if that's your decision-making process. I mean, that's fair. You know, if a front-line starter goes down and you have Alexander Madison, is that going to be better for you than?

You know, a Devon Singletary or a Jordan Howard, I don't know. The other aspect of when you're in the draft and you're like, oh, I got the handcuff, the joke could be on you and you don't actually have the handcuff. Like that happens very frequently. There are a few guys we know for sure, like Madison, Pollard. And I guess like. I think Chase Edmonds is there. And Chase Edmonds. Yeah, there are a few players that.

you would say that there's a very high probability if the start in front of them is to miss time. They're going to get a huge workload. But a lot of the times you get real excited about a backup running back, and then it's just three-player time share, and no one's really bringing any fantasy value. It seems like a tough gamble to take on one or two of your players needing to be handcuffed in case they're the ones that get sick. You might be better off.

You know, if you're going to have to be super nimble and flexible this year in trading players, you're not, there's no value to that handcuff except to you. But there's value to a depth piece. If you got Jordan Howard on your bench and someone else needs a running back, he's valuable as opposed to you trying to be the Dalvin Cook owner trading Alexander Madison away. You're not going to give value for that. This is going to be an insane. This is going to be insane. Fantasy season. Yeah, I'm looking forward to it. I think we'll need our, you know, thoughtful strategy more than ever. I would love.

to not have to do that. Yeah. But I'm glad that you're excited for the challenge, and we're up for it. You've been waiting and waiting and waiting for a first rounder. It took everybody to be injured in front of him for him to get the shot. But he came through for Tampa Bay last year. Yeah, I guess I'll just settle on Herndon and Crowder. Yeah, I wouldn't put Mims there. But the name that is curious to talk about is Sam Darnold. You know, he's going to be a streamable option. And we've talked a lot about Daniel Jones and these other guys. Maybe they'll come through.

I mean, this is his third year in the league and he was sick last year missing games with the kissing disease. I mean, Sam Darnold. Much better offensive line situation should help him. What's wild? I'm looking through. He's not near the top of my ranking. I'm looking at Crowder's consistency last year. And it's wild because it is, it's not all over the place. It's literally he was either very good for your team. He was a top 20 guy or he was in like the 60s. So I think.

Crowder is interesting. Crowder is definitely interesting because that was last year with Robbie Anderson on the team as the perceived number one wide receiver on the team, but at least outwardly, that may not have been that inside the locker room, but Crowder is, he has value, especially PPR value. All right. Patrick B has a question for us from Twitter. I see that rookie Jonathan Taylor is ranked from 26 to 28 in the UDK depending on your format.

With the Colts offensive line, I feel like he could be a top 10 running back this year. What are your thoughts on Jonathan Taylor? You are not incorrect, Patrick. He certainly could be a top 10 player, but not every running back you could say that about. Right. That's high praise. But I agree. Jonathan Taylor could be a top 10 guy. I think he will be a top 10 guy in the future. But I'm not projecting Marlon Mack to just disappear. I think he's going to be.

involved. Naim Hines will be heavily involved as well. Of course. Three running backs to work into a rotation. That makes it hard to finish in the top 10. Yeah, it's all about how the workload split is between those three backs. I am currently, for my ultimate draft kit projections, believing the coach speak of Marlon Mack and Jonathan Taylor being that one-one punch and Naim Hines being a little bit involved. I...

do, however, think that, you know, it's realistic. Jonathan Taylor is another world better than Marlon Mack. And that's coming from someone who thinks Marlon Mc. So that's very high praise from you. Yeah, I think Marlon Mack is a, is a good running back in the NFL. Jonathan Taylor is a different specimen as a human. He is in that Saquan Berkeley type of ath.

fleet. And so I do, I mean, if Frank Reich, who I respect just comes out and goes, you know what? This dude's built for a workload. Obviously, he did it in college. He's better on the field than our other guys. Let's get him out there more. That could happen. And if that happens, his upside is tremendous. Rookie year is awesome. I just, I'm projecting it to be split. Yeah. And it was late May that Frank Wright came out and said that Naeem Hines could end up with 10 catches, you know, in a game here or there. It will be.

less predictable now than probably at any stage in Jonathan Taylor's career, but I think we all see the upside and the opportunity and the offensive line is great. Yeah, and I don't blame people for drafting him because of that upside. There's probably too large of a gap in the Clyde Edwards-Alair, Jonathan Taylor, range of outcome situation, like where Clyde Edwards-Ailers-Layer is being drafted much higher. Yeah.
