Has Marcus Mariotto received enough help at the wide receiver position in the draft to help balance his fantasy value with the potential mobility issues that accompanied his injury last season? P.S. The Voice of Public Opinion is amazing. Voice of Public Opinion, what are your thoughts on this one? Oh, crap. Has he received enough help? I guess the question of has he received enough help is, are we going to get 16 games instead of eight good ones?

from Marcus Mario. That's an excellent question. I think he's gotten a huge upgrade. It's like one of the biggest winners of the draft. This was a clean fracture, right? I mean, a clean. He'll be back. Fracture. I'm not worried about mobility. No, he's going to be back. But they've added Davis, which they went all in on him with a top five pick, and then Tewan Taylor, and they've, who is a slot-wide receiver, and they accompanied that by saying, we're going to run three wide more often.

than we did last year, which I know we talked about. So Richard Matthews, Marka Murray. They're still run first T. Walker. But they're going to throw more. And I think the balance will be a little bit closer than it was last year. But I love it. I think that both of those are good receivers. And I think that Corey Davis can transcend into being a great wide receiver in time. Year one, though. What is Corey Davis year one?

I think that... Enough of a difference maker to make Mario da more stable? I think so. Okay. I think so. All right. Thad and St. Louis wants to know your preferred draft spot, Mike. Personal preference here. Because there's no right or wrong answer necessarily, although, you know, I have my strong opinion here where I want to be able to draft one of those top three premier running backs. I'm all about the running back in the first round.

You're all about those three guys in the first round. Specifically, David Johnson, Ezekiel Elliott, and Levy on Bell. Yeah, and I would say every year it changes a little bit because I want to just make sure that I'm in that top tier of player. And for me this year, as of right now, it's the six, you know, the three running backs, Andy mentioned, then Brown, Beckham, Julio Jones. And it's a lot of people throw Mike Evans in that group. And I don't.

Yeah. And I love Mike Evans very much. Yeah, you do. Way too much. But he's just, he's not in my, in that top top tier for me. So this year, as of right now, I want to be in the top six. Yeah, and I'll say preferred. I'll say top three preferred. So here's a good transition.

question here. Ryan and New York asked about safe and risky players. Who do we think are the riskiest players and safest players currently being drafted in the first two rounds in the upcoming season in terms of fantasy production and why? For me, look, two names to jump off are safest being a guy like Antonio Brown. Yes. And riskiest being a guy like Todd Gurley going in the first two rounds because you had a bad year. There might be a riskier player though.

I'm pulling it up. Is Devante Adams going on the first two rounds? I'm jumping in here to Fantasy Football Calculator and let's see. No, Adams is in a third round. Give me some second round players. Should I switch to PPR scoring because it's the new standard? Sure. All right. I'm pulling that up. Standards the new PPR, though, right? So, riskiest guys in the top two rounds. I think I agree that Todd Gurley for me is the standout as. What about Marshawn Lynch? Is he going in the top two rounds?

I don't think he has filtered his way up. Do you think he will? Maybe into the back of the second. And if he's in the back of the second, no freaking way am I jumping in on that. I haven't projected high, but that's a risky endeavor. You're an enigma, Mike, because you love the injured guys with high potential, but you just acted really freaked out about Marshall Lynch. Where's your risk when it comes? Push comes to shove. Where are you taking that? Will I take Marshaun Lynch? I'll take him.

above Gurley, but I won't take, I will unlikely to take either in the second round. All right. I'll tell you, for sure, I'm not taking Todd Gurley in the second round. So that means I would not take Marshawn Lynch in the second round. She did some logic for you. There you go. Patrick and Linton, Indiana. Last question. I have thought about drafting a quarterback tied in defense kicker. But as in the same team?

One QB tight-in defense kicker. Yeah, I'm confused by this question because he says my QB tight-end defense kicker are all in different buy weeks. How do you feel about that strategy? You see that question there? Who are we talking about? This is Patrick in Linton, Indiana. I don't understand that one, so I'm going to move on to Brendan in Lawrence. I keep Lev Bell for a first this year, which I plan to do. We always do a draft position competition, and so my question is, should I hashtag trust the process?

and tank to get a later first rounder and an earlier second rounder to ensure getting a top-notch receiver to pair bell with or just try in the competition. You play to win the game. Yeah? I do not, do not tank. Do not tank. Things happen. You find late round gems. People get injured. What you have on paper to start the beginning of the year.

is that's not what's going to happen no it isn't you need you need to be ready you need to build your foundation in the draft but you need to be ready to adapt in the season and i'm not i'm not doing that it's just this is a for the for the strategy of for dynasty players you think man you're selling everything you want all youth you want all rookies

In three years, I'm just going to keep building and building, and I'm going to build this monster juggernaut team. You're building the, what is the Babylon? Is that the right reference? Tower of Babel. Okay. The tower, they just keep building and building for nothing. For nothing. It would never get there. Okay. You're chasing the end of a rainbow if you go that way. Yeah. No, I get what you're saying now.
