Week 7 Matchups + Funny Bones, Wheel of Shame - Fantasy Football Podcast for 10/22

Well, totally unrelated to that limited time that we had. I ended up the loser in the fantasy face off last week. Mike squeezed by Jason by two points. Yes. And I was third. I got some big time. What are you doing over there? I was checking my phone. I got a notification. You have your light on your phone is on. Oh, is it? Yeah. So the light blasted me in the eyes.

That's funny. So I was like, I didn't know. Look, I'm on guard right now with the Wheel of Shame. So I didn't know if you were like going to film something. I'm a little edgy. So we do have our lineups for this week, but first I have to push this button. Wheel of shame. All right. Spin it. I got a free pass. No? No. It looks like.

Dog cone! Come on. Dog cone? Dog cone. I'm an animal. You are. You were an animal last week. I just had surgery? Yes, you will be a dog. Is this a pullover? With a cone of shame. I mean, that's perfect. This is the wheel of shame. Yeah. And now it's turned into the cone of shame for Andy. Oh, fantastic. Oh, yeah. Make sure you get the dog part of it over the top of the head there.

Wait, what? Yeah, yeah. Oh, there's a, there's a hood with some dog ears. Oh, fantastic. What an idiot. This is pretty good. You did well, and now I can't lick any of my wounds from last week. Wow, that's spectacular. You look great. Thanks. You know, I feel comfortable. I feel secure, and I look like a fool. This segment is so dumb.

It's so stupid. This might be my favorite one of the punishment. I mean, this is outstanding. All right, let's get into our lineup breakdowns as I host the show here. At quarterback this week, I'm spinning up. I'm taking Patrick Mahomes at Tennessee in the highest over under. Jason's been wondering who I was playing all week long. 8,400, I'm going to homes. I'm not messing around a quarterback against you two.

I can't look like this again next week. Man, was I really hope? It's always indicative when we announce these lineups, what our hopes are. Like, I was really hoping you didn't have Mahomes here. Okay. I went Matt Ryan. I have worries. I've got worry. He is great for the price. Only $5,700 should be good. He's your start of the week. But it's scary to take Matt Ryan. It is. And that's why I didn't take Matt Ryan. That's why I paid up for Patrick Mahomes. Oh, no. Oh, yeah. Dang it.

All right, at running back, I went with a pair of, well, big spender, Derek Henry. I'm taking him in the same matchup, $9,200. It's big money, but I don't care. Okay, so you've got Mahomes and Henry. You bet you. And then, which is great. I mean, that's, I would love to have. Sounds like we're going to hear about Dante Pettison a little bit. And then my other running back, it was only $5,000 for J.D. McKissick. That's a good point. Yeah, the PPR format on Draft Kings. I'm comfortable there.

I as well went Derek Henry for 9,200, and I'm pairing him with Darrell Henderson, who should be good at 6,600 in a smash match up against Detroit. I am, you caught me riding dirty. I will be without Derek Henry this week. So we'll see how that goes. But I've got my exact same combo of running backs that I had last week, not just because it worked out, but because their salary here is just like, yeah, I'll take these running backs.

Darrell Henderson, Jr. with you, Jason, at 6,600, and D'Andre Swift at just 6,000. Playing each other, so it will be interesting. All right. My wide receivers, guys, I'm making the trifect of big spenders here. So not only do I have Mahomes and Henry. Where are you finding all this money? Seriously. I've got Devante Adam. How did you? What? 8,900 for Devonthe Adams, Patrick Mahomes, and Derek Henry. You betcha. And my wide receivers, Darnel Mooney.

and McCall Hardman, 4,600 and 4,300. Okay. So Adams combined with the discounts on Mooney and Hardman. Wow. I am really interested for the rest of your lineup. My wide receivers, I've got A.J. Brown, Chris Godwin and McCall Hardman as well. The value at 4300 is outstanding on it. All right. Godwin, with the news today.

of AB missing. I guess you were speculating on that or did you pivoted into him? I pivoted mid-show. I had Marquis Hollywood Brown. You dirty scoundrel. I had Hollywood Brown here who was, I had $100 remaining on my salary and Chris Godwin was $100 more than Hollywood. Very nice. I've got AJ Brown as well. Hopefully he can.

keep some food down. We all want some of that matchup, the Kansas City C-C matchup. And then I am pairing him with Mike Evans, who I did not switch. I speculated. Sure. Great, great call. They gambled in one there at 6,500 and Calvin Ridley against the Miami Dolphins at just 6,600. So I have a...

A big three at wide receiver all in the 6,000 range. Well, here's where I, you know, you got to. Oh, this is where we're all. You got to, you don't have a lot of money left. And so I have bargains with these next three picks. I'm taking a touchdown shot at Robert Tunyon at 3,500. Okay. I am taking the discounted price of Rashad Bateman at 3,400 in my flex. And my bargain defense this week, my favorite cheap defense is actually the.

Coming off the by, Atlanta Falcons, against Tua and Miami. Okay. 2700. I don't hate it.

I will say this. I really like your line. And I have no salary. Zero dollars left. I don't like your ridiculous get-up because you look like such an idiot. No, it is. It is fantastic. But your lineup is good. At tight end, I'm going with my start of the week. Zach Gertz against the Houston Texans at 3,900. I have J.D. McKissick in my flex. He's one of your running backs. And the Arizona Cardinals at 3,100 against the Houston Texans. Round out my lineup.

I have the Cardinals to match with Jason. I have Rashad Bateman to match with Andy. And then I had to save cash somewhere where I spent up at the other positions. So I'm following my start of the week at the $3,000 bargain price. Cole Komet against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Just hope he gets a touchdown.
