And terrible this week. I think Frank Gore is the only guy you could play. Okay. Sounds good. And what else do we got here? We got Antonio Andrews being announced as the workhorse. By a new coach. Mike Malarkey. Yeah. So is this a bunch of malarkey? Well, here's the deal. It's really, really working out for them to have Antonio Andrews as the workhorse. So they'll keep winning.

118 passagesKeep winning games. He's looked the best of everybody. Yes, and you have to expect it's true, and ensure he's worth a flyer if you haven't already scooped him up, but you can't expect huge things. All right, it's Goldilocks time in San Francisco. Blaine Gabbard gets a start over Colin Kaepernick. I saw a funny graphic yesterday, although it was a little misleading. Yes, of course. But it was basically comparing Cam Newton, the MVP candidate statistics with...
Colin Kaepernick, the now-binched maligned loser quarterback, you know, in everybody's mind. The only real difference, I mean, there was a difference in touchdowns, 11 to 6, but every other number, Kaepernick was the same or better at pretty much. So, you know, he probably needed to sit. That team's awful. The running backs are awful. That team's on its way to a number one pick maybe. Do you start anybody against, I mean, any defense against the 49ers right now?
All of them. Juicy. All of them. I don't know if people remember this because we love to be so stuck in the now. The official streaming defense strategy in years past was stream a defense against Blaine Gabbard. Oh, yeah. That was a solid strategy. That was the go-to strategy. And you would, like, Andy and I would have competitions. We would see a defense five weeks in advance. You're like, I got to grab them now.
Because I know that someone else is going to do it, and they're going to give me 20 points. You've got to gab that defense. Gab it. So, yeah, Falcons, strong play this week. Very strong play. So one other bit of news, you might want to know, just Bruce Ariens out here in Arizona said that Michael Floyd is essentially going to take back that starting job over John Brown. And he just kind of, the way Ariens talks, I mean, the Cardinals play in three wide receiver sets almost all the time.
So it's really somewhat inconsequential. But Floyd has been playing very well. And he is certainly going to be a trade value to you compared to John Brown. Yeah, and Brown really took the job because Michael Floyd was busted up. So I'm not too concerned about it. I think they're all going to, all the Cardinals are feasting right now. Oh, and I did forget, superstar Joseph Randall has been released. The burglar!
Well, Mike was down on Joseph Randall all the year, said he couldn't do it, and then he gets in trouble with the NFL, and he no longer can do it. Yeah, so we got some of that right. We're back on the Kristen Michael watch. No, no, no, no. Yeah, you actually dropped Kristen Michael this week in our League of Record. I had to, because he's had too many chances. He had the opportunity to take the job. Darren McFadden is a strong fantasy option right now somehow. It's 2015, and I'm saying that.
But Michael, he's just one of those really high upside handcuff type guys at this point. All right, we're going to get into the fantasy forecast and talk matchups for week number nine. But before we do that, I want to thank our sponsor again, the Sports Manias app. You know, right next to my phone, right next to the Waterwheel app, I have the Sports Mania's app because it is the tops. It is the tops when it comes to apps on your phone.
Knowledge is power in fantasy football, and we love sports manias because you can get all of the articles, tweets, videos, news about your team without all the noise. They have a very well-c curated feed in the SportsNitania's app. That's one of the reasons why they're a top eight sports app in USA Today, a top five app in MacLife, and fan-sighted said they're the top app to follow for the NFL.
And we love sports manias. We've been using that app for a long time. You get notifications in that app on player news or when your player score information directly connected to your team. And it gives you an edge. So we love that app. And you can import your team from CBS, ESPN, Yahoo. So go grab it today. The game changer for the fantasy football player. The most complete app that we've seen on the market is the sports manias app. So grab it on the Google Play Store, grab it on the iOS store, and get it today.
Speaking of Topps, we'd like to thank our other sponsor of the day. Topps. That's no joke. Nice connection. And they're bringing together, they're bringing you the Topps Huddle app. Again, another app that we've talked about because we love so much. Huddle features officially licensed NFL digital cards. You get to collect cards, just like when you were a child and you opened up that pack and you got the Babe Ruth.
rookie card. You guys remember when you got Babe Ruth? Yeah, back when I was... Yeah, see? Back when I was a kid, see? Well, we didn't get Babe Ruth, but we had plenty of Ken Griffey and other superstars back in the day. So this is... And you get to watch your collection grow, opening packs, making trades, and the app isn't only about card collecting. You can play your cards and earn points in a real-time daily fantasy-style game based on how players perform on game day. So you get that sweet.
Fantasy football action as well. Over 300 million Topps digital packs have been opened since 2012 with fans ripping over a pack a second. That is a breakneck speed. That is a wheelie sneed speed. But boom. For football, especially fantasy football fans, this app is a must have. Download it for free in the app store or Google playing. Get 10 free packs today. The Topps huddle app. Collect cards, play cards. It's fun. It's a great time. All right. Let's go ahead and get into the fantasy forecast.
Fantasy Forecast Man, I am strangely. Maybe I ate something wrong, you know, this morning, last night. I'm strangely tempted to make this game. Whoa. Because you're remembering last year. I just, it's Thursday night. It's a division game. You just don't know. I'm tempted to make it my almost upset of the week is what I was going to say. You remember last year, right? Mansell.
Browns? Is that what you're talking about? I'm talking about Andy Dalton putting on the worst offensive performance you've ever seen in your life. On a Thursday night? No, of all time. You don't remember when his quarterback rating was like two? It was against the Browns? Yeah. I don't know. He didn't look good last week. It was Pick City. AJ Green was just was kind of bang. The Bengals are favored by 11. Yeah, I think you're a crazy person if you go with this one. I usually can support you, but...
You're all on your own. All right. I'm going to save it. I'm going to save it. All right. So we've got the matchup. Mansell Dalton. You said you would not stream Mansell even, you know, over a bad matchup matchup for luck. Is there any chance you play Manzell in any context? Four quarterback leagues. Yeah. So if I'm in a two-Cube league and I am just desperate, but I think the Bengals are going to eat.
Manzell's launch tonight. Sweet. Manzell had a disastrous outing against him last time. Picked off twice. I think he had a total of 80 yards through the air. Not a good performance. And the Bengals are better this time around. It's short week. It's just a bad situation. Yeah, to prepare and to get ready to play an undefeated Bengals team. I mean, you're basically, you're counting on that Travis Benjamin bomb again. If you play Manzell, that's what you're counting on. That's true.
So we talked a little bit about it earlier. Jeremy Hill, he seems to be coming on a little bit. I'm not worried about Bernard. I think that's the question in fantasy owners' minds. Are you worried about Bernard? Bernard is a weapon. You know, they barely got by Pittsburgh. They didn't use him enough. He's been super efficient this year. Are you, rest of season still? Are you on Hill? As of now. I like them both, but I think...
moving forward as the weather is changing as the team is getting into playoff mode. I think they know they have to lean more on the running game because you do not want to end up in the playoffs with this offensive philosophy that they have of just throwing the ball over the field because Andy Dalton, I don't know if I want to rely on Andy Dalton mentally with all these flashbacks of him failing in the playoffs without having a running game.
Jason, the Browns are the worst run graded team on pro football focus. So they're the worst against the run. Do you start Hill and Bernard with no problems? No, I don't. I'm not confident personally in starting Bernard because I think the poorest run D is what's going to keep the ball on the ground. And I think that's going to be Hill on the field and using more. I'm a little bit more worried about Bernard.
Now, is Bernard startable here? Absolutely. He's capable of putting up a good game. This is a bad defense. What I'm saying here is I agree with Mike that I expect the ball to be going to Hill. As we kind of saw last week coming out of their by, that was the direction they started to move. And it worries me a little bit because Geo's been fantastic. Man, when you watch him with the ball in his hands, he's great.
But he has to have the ball in his hands, and that's what it comes down to for all players. And I just worry about how much they're going to get him involved, especially in a game like this. But anybody in this game for the Bengals could put up a great fantasy output against the Browns. Yeah, as much as I like Hill, I'm not concerned about starting an A.J. Green, a Marvin Jones as a wide receiver 2-3 type guy. Eifford, of course, is still in your lineup. Let me give you some Eifford questions. Eifford or Gates.
Oh, man. The unfortunate thing is you have to make this right now, and Gates is still banged up a little bit. I think he's still practicing. I think he's playing. If you want to be safe, but I think he got both the guys in this game. Eifford and Barnish. I would go with Eifford. Yes, that's not close to me. Being afraid of football. Jason, what would you say to the Eifford Gates?
Ifer Gates, I've got I for one spot ahead of Gates. And I agree, it's basically based on the injury, not knowing how healthy Gates is. Okay. Did you know Travis, you know, Travis Benjamin is the only wide receiver with zero drops this year? Yeah, it's, well, I was looking that up yesterday. And we played the game, who has the, you know, the highest Kess percentage.
with a certain amount of targets. Certain names come up, right? It's, yeah, you think, oh, Larry Fitzgerald. Oh, he's one drop. I think I heard Travis Benjamin. I think I heard Johnny Manzaldo say he was going to do something about that tonight. Like, I'll fix that. He's put his mind to it. Yeah. It's great. So, all right, let's go ahead and slide over to the Dolphins at the Bills. Tyrod Taylor, back. Oh, back again. Yes. So.
What are we expecting out of this game? Because the bills are favored at home. Miami put up a stinker against, you know, after a couple great games, they put up a stinker against New England. Do you start both quarterbacks? Yeah, I prefer Taylor. But Tannen Hill, he's a fine, lower end quarterback one started for me this week. Okay. And, all right, let's, what about Taylor? I mean, what about Taylor? He's, I love him. Okay.
I've got in the top 10 this week. Yeah, I love Taylor. He's back. He's finally healthy. He has been lighting up the league, really. If you're not paying attention, you think, oh, he's just a runner. He's a great passer. He's completing over 70% of his passes, and these aren't just dink-dunk-type throws. He ranks near the top of the league with yards per attempt. So I like Taylor. The dolphins, I think they got really exposed. They kind of came down off of their new coach.
new coaching regime high. The Patriots manhandled them. And last time the Dolphins played the Bills, it was really ugly. It was lopsided for the bills. And that was the game that Tannenhill just managed to come through with some excellent garbage time production. The only thing that concerns me about Taylor moving forward is just that he has the weapons he needs to be productive. It'll help having Shadyback. Watkins is practicing on a limited basis this week for those monitoring his situation. I think he plays this week. I do too.
Harvin's obviously out, but that's the only thing that I want to watch. Any... Okay, so let's talk the running back situation. You're starting Shady. You're starting Lamar Miller. Is Carlos Williams a pure handcuff? Yeah. Yeah, he is to me. I mean, he was putting up huge production when he was playing, but that's because he...
was scoring. He was only touching the ball around seven or ten times, but he happened to score every single time. Yeah, it was almost like David Johnson. Putting up good numbers, but you can't rely on him to... That's a perfect comparison. You can't start him even though you could have got. He might get that player or two, but you can't predict it. Right, exactly. Okay, so Jarvis Landry's been one of the most consistent wide receivers in all of...
