I had to lobby for this thing for a couple years before we got it changed. All right, let's grab another question. Hey, what's up, guys? This is Tyler Guntherner from Rochester, Minnesota, up in the Great White North. I've got a quick dynasty question for you guys. I have a choice between the 103, which I'm thinking Joe Mixon, or Todd Gurley, the known commodity.

I'd love to hear you guys as advice. I've stumped a few Dynasty big, big league people. So I went right to the top and wanted to ask you guys. Thanks for the advice. Great show. Love you guys. Take care. The gun. That's our buddy, Tyler. Yeah. Yeah. Thank you for the question, Tyler. To me, that's a tough question. Now, is he saying he's at the 103 of a startup?

No, this is a rookie pick. It's a rookie pick 103. He said it would be mixing, but he could also have Gurley. And you know, you called Gurley a known commodity. And what I think Gurley is, is like Todd Gurley is the guy with the trench coat and you open it up. And some people like what's inside. Is it watches? Please be watches. So I would say he's like the unknown commodity. See, I was going to go with he's like a candy bar.

I don't know why it's all candy today, but then just halfway through. It's like, you know, those mystery dumm-dums? Yeah. It's that. Right in the middle, there's a mystery flavor and you don't know what is about to happen. He is, to me, not a known commodity. He's known from the fact that the big games exist. Here's what you know. But probably, it's just statistically what he has done. He has been, nah, far more than he has been great. I would take Todd Gurley. That's what I would do.

But it comes down to what you believe about Todd Gurley. Because you already know that Todd Gurley has the keys to the castle. He has them this year. If you believe he takes advantage of that, like year one, statistically, you're fine. You made the right choice. You know, Mixon does not have that. Mixing doesn't have the keys to the castle. He also has a little bit of baggage. He has some other guys in the backfield. To me, I would just take Gurley. Imagine Gurley, and what you know about him now is just sitting there. Fresh start, new head coach, you know, some offensive line fixes.

Give me Gurley. Yeah, I like Mixen. I think he will do very well in the NFL, and I'm not a giant fan of Todd Gurley, but I'm still taking Gurley here because of a lot of what Andy's saying. You know, everything with Mixen has to be 100% of projection, that, you know, that he's going to overtake Jeremy Hill, that he is going to get the passing work, and that Geo's not going to be involved, or maybe he's still hurt from the ACL. We have no idea.

what his role is going to be yet. And with Gurley, not only do you have a clear picture as to what the role is, but I think the offense will necessarily get better, even if they're not good. I don't expect them to be good, but they will get better because they got rid of Jeff Fisher. And in addition to that, you have the fact that he is still very young, and he's done it before.

He, you know, in his rookie year, he had that big blowup. So for me, it's definitely, I mean, if I'm in a startup draft where rookies are involved, I would pretty much always be taking Gurley ahead of any rookie hopeful. Yeah, that's a good point. And I'll say, I'm actually taking Mixing in this situation. I'm with you that almost always I will take the known commodity. But to me, Gurley is still unknown. And this is a question of offense for me.

Not so much, do you fully believe in Todd Gurley's? Do you believe in McVeigh and what he can do for the Rams? Because you know who's sneaky good? The Bengals. Here are Jeremy Hill's touchdowns. Nine, 11, nine. He's averaging essentially 10 touchdowns, 10 rushing touchdowns a year. Wait, the guy that's there sharing time with Mixon? Right. And I understand that this year, I feel like Jeremy Hill will still have a role, but Jeremy Hill is not going to be resigned.

to the Bengals. Gio Bernard is not long for the Bengals in the way that I am projecting it. It's just a very, it's just a very big leap today to say, to put my confidence in mixing. Because say what you want about Gurley, you still had 278 carries last year. You still had 43 receptions and six touchdowns on a team that we all know was being mismanaged. 10 the year before on limited carries. I get it. I get, I get your desire to bring me down on Todd Gurley.

But it's too tough for me to go there. I think Mixen is the more talented player. What was that? That was Andy's soul leaving his body. Yeah, I mean, all things considered, I think Mixon is the more talented prospect. That's what I see. But, you know, I'm risk adverse with those first picks. I want to know, you know, people just put too much stock and hope and rookies. If Mixon ends up the better pick, I'm not going to be shocked.

You know, I wouldn't be like, man, nobody could have called that. Hey, Brooks, who would you take? Mixing or Gurley? I'd stick with Gurley. All right. That's the right answer. All right. You guys can go down on that ship. Enjoy. No, I'm going to get Gurley. I'm in the row boat. And then I'm going to trade Gurley because his value to most people is much higher than Mixon. So even if you don't like Gurley. To the guys that like the watches. Get the guy with much more value to the general public and utilize that value. Capitalize on it.

He's a fake Rolex. How do you go the guy in the trench coat? Well, that's not what I was actually visualizing. Maybe it was because of the connection to Trent Richardson. I was, all right, that's a stretch. I was more picturing somebody with kind of like a little man bag and there's some like.

jewels inside and you go to some people and they want to, they want to barter with you and you go to another country, they have no interest. Well, the range of viewpoints on Todd Gurley is wide. Yeah. The range of a man with a bag who has some goods versus a man in a truck. Do you see that clock? Look at the clock. Look at the clock, Mike. What does that clock say?
