you'll know he is either it's not i don't think it's going to change he's healthy he's been i'm fully expecting three parkinson touchdowns for sure could be but ferguson it's year two for him if you're not familiar year two second round pick absurdly athletic like had plays last year it yes a few he he fits the mold of a player where you will be at the end of the year you're like man

28:23 ↗

What a breakout for Terrence Ferguson. Yeah, 93rd percentile in his athleticism score. He's a beast. Which is very important at the, it's far more important to be athletic as a tight end than any other position. And we've seen very athletic tight ends take four, five, six years to become. Sure. Like, as in like, just because he didn't have a breakout rookie season, that's not the norm, just because we've gotten some rookies that have performed. So he could definitely have a breakout. You guys want to do some mailbag? Let's go. Mailbag. Mailbag.

where we answer questions on a bonus episode. All right. Instagram question. Who is the late round fantasy pick that you're looking most forward to watching in week one? It's funny because I just mentioned Terrence Ferguson. Yeah, that is mine. But I mean, Pat Bryant's in that list. Antavian Wicks is in that list. All the rookies that you get late in the draft. I mean, you know who I was shocked like is not being drafted anywhere in any circumstance?

29:50 ↗

Antonio Williams. Like, there hasn't been... Yeah, ever since... I know. Diggs arrived, but it's like there are... From the top rope. Concepcion. I want to see Human Week 1, Denzel Boston. Yeah. What are some answers for you guys or players that you've taken late, late and draft? I see George Salani. You want to see... Okay, George Salani. Who said that? I want to see... George Salami?

30:13 ↗

That's what I'm calling him from now on. Because it makes me feel better. What did he say? George Salami is not bad. George Salami. Oh, yeah. We got our first one, boys. Coming out of the game. The deucers like it. George. I don't know about that. I don't think anybody likes it. I love it. There's just so much meat talk. George. George Salami. So that's somebody you're looking for? Okay.

30:40 ↗

Yeah, I'm curious, you know, we want to see how the... It's not George is. It's George. Yeah. All right. George. But the fact that it's an S... It's no, it's fine. To start the next word makes it feel George Slamy. It's a great... It's not George Slamy. That's not what it is. Whoa. That's what you said. Okay. We're going to have to workshop this a bit. If they give goal line carries to George Salami...

31:07 ↗

It could impact geranium price. The Packers. I'm so happy right now. I'm so happy. The Packers backfield is one to watch and see how that goes. Yes. That's not really a late round unless you're talking about. Yeah, Chris Brooks, of course. Oh, okay. Not Caleb Johnson. He who shall not be named. There you go. There's some names. What is up? Curtis writing it on Instagram. What is up with the Mark Andrews disrespect?

31:36 ↗

I kind of agree with him. Are you saying like, why did Mark Andrews disrespect all of us so much last year? Is that what we're talking about? I don't think that's well. No, I agree with this. I really do. I mean, I drafted Mark Andrews in our league of record. He's my tight end going forward in two different of like my five leagues. This is a player who is not as old as you think. You're going to want to tune in on Tuesday, Jason. On Waver Day. Sure, yes. He's not as old as you.

32:05 ↗

You know, like Travis Kelsey is what, 36? You know, Mark Andrews is 31 years old. And he has disappointed the last few years. Are you comparing Mark Andrews to Travis Kelsey? I mean, there was several years where it was like those were the two guys who were drafting, right? Sure. And I'm not saying he's to that degree at all. He's not a first ballot hall. He's not a Hall of Famer. But I'm just saying age-wise, we have a lot of history of tight ends.

32:33 ↗

at 31, 32, 33 being okay, whereas you don't have that much running backs, wide receivers. You've got to be a Hall of Famer to be okay there. You don't have to be a Hall of Famer to be Delaney Walker and be okay in your 30s at the tight end position, especially if you're a touchdown guy, which is what Mark Andrews has been. You lose Isaiah likely, who's gone. You get a, you know, a new scheme here. They paid him an extended Mark Andrews. So it's like he is completely left for dead and it's.

33:01 ↗

If you look at which tight ends around the league have the best chance for 10 touchdowns, right? Obviously, you got the Brock Bowers, but like how far down in the list is Mark Andrews? As a touchdown machine for Lamar Jackson, he's got to be high up there within the tight end realm. I'm just willing to be wrong. Yeah. Yeah, I get it. I mean, I said like I likely was there last year. He missed three games.

33:29 ↗

and managed to siphon off 307 of the receiving yards. Like, Isaiah likely was not a problem for Mark Andrews who had... And they will have other tight ends at play. Yes, Smythe is there, baby. The actual Smythe. Yeah, we'll see. I mean, I get it. It was by far Andrews's worst year. Would you rather play Mark Andrews all year long or Kelsey? You'd rather play Kelsey, right? Kelsey, for sure. Okay. Jason's thinking about it. Yeah, I don't know. I mean, I...

33:58 ↗

I guess to push comes to shove, I had Kelsey in my queue higher, so sure. I mean, he had, so two years ago, when he was scoring nine and a half points per game, he had 69 targets. Last year, he had 70 targets, and he dropped over three fantasy points a game. Well, that was a touchdown. Because two years ago, he had double-ditch of touchdowns. Right, but three years ago, he had six, and then five a year before, I don't know, I'm just. Well, I mean, his yards per catch.

34:28 ↗

He's had years. I mean, it's at eight. So, I mean, that was a huge part of the problem. Yeah. And one of his touchdowns, by the way, last year was that, like, part of his fantasy finish was that insane 48-yard fake fourth down run. Do you remember this? Where he was going to run up the middle and he ran around the edge. So, like, that also contributed to his points per game in a way that is like not relative to the, I mean, in a small way. But that is a huge play. I will definitely say the, to answer the question, why the disrespect is because it.

34:56 ↗

looks on film like he is gone. Like he's a bit slower and, you know, I know that Lamar loves to throw him the football. That's the one saving grace. It's a little bit like the Kelsey Mahomes. Like in the red zone, I feel like Lamar is still going to look at him if he's on the field. To Jason's point. Parenting advice question, what is this? What piece of parenting advice or adage do you give yourself?

35:18 ↗

as a fantasy manager before the season. Do you need to give yourself? This is you talking as a parent to yourself before the season. A fantasy child within. I can tell you what. Never draft George Salami. This year, what I would say to myself is it's going to be okay. That's it. You know what your parenting advice is it's going to be okay. You know what your original plan was. Yes.

35:45 ↗

And now that the football is here, you're trying to deviate from the plan. Yeah, I mean, obviously, you know, I'm going for it in all my leagues except for one. But the league of record is the most important league. And, you know, we are right now. You should play to win. Impossible. What advice do I want to give myself? Stay the course. Be patient. Sure thing. Super duper team.

36:15 ↗

I posted this on Twitter, and I just want people to understand. My roster is on paper to start the year, the best I've ever seen. It's an impossible roster to draft. You can't draft it. We have a three-keeper league. I had a ton of picks. The way this roster was assembled was I had three keepers going to the off-season, like we all do. I got lucky enough to win our lottery to get the number one pick, which I got lucky enough to where it.

36:43 ↗

Jimmy or Gibbs dropped into the draft. Then you got lucky enough to have the right lottery pick of your keepers. Correct. Picked. Yes. And then you used a lot of capital that you had from last year when you sold to buy. So if you just want to follow along with my misery, I have only set myself up for probable misery. Oh, I wouldn't say probable. What is this guy? Shut up. Thank you, Mike. Shut up, nerd. Shut up, nerd.

37:09 ↗

Josh Allen. Jamir Gibbs. So you've got the number one quarterback. Josh Allen. The number one running back. Camere Gibbs. Devon A. Chan. Kenneth Walker. Okay. So three top 10 running back. Seedy Lamb. Amon Ross St. Brown. Okay. Two top five wide receivers. Devante Adams and Kyle Pitts. And then last year's number two tight end and Devante Adams as like your second place. Yeah, he's a throwaway crappy player. You know that the GIF?

37:31 ↗

Well, I just meet Mike. Can't you, if you, I'm, I'm thrilled and I should be able to win a ton of games and I will. Yes. I'm just saying, this is championship or bust. That's all. Yes. It's just championship or busts with a roster like that's where everyone in the league presumes all win. Yes. And we, and there's so much that's going to go wrong in the season. You sound like the like Woody Harrelson and Zombie Land when he's crying, but then he just wipes his eyes with $100 bills. Yeah, that's fine. Yeah, yeah, that's me. I'm so sad. Look how rich I am.

38:01 ↗

Yeah. Yeah. No, no, no, I'm with you. It's going to be. It is an impossible roster. And I can't wait to find out how I go undefeat it. There you go. Does that feel better? Yeah. We'll take a break. We've got some more questions. Would you drop? Anthony wants to know, would you drop Tank Biggsby or Emmett Johnson to pick up Josh Jacobs. That is a big yes for me. Yeah, that's a definite yes. I currently expect, my current guess, I would say, is that he plays the second half of the year.

38:34 ↗

And when he does, he'll be very good for fantasy. It would take an injury ahead for the other guys to be relevant. No, I don't want him on my team. That's fair. If you want to, if you just want to not deal with it, obviously one thing to keep in mind as someone who, like, part of the reason my League of Record team is toast is because I kept, my lottery gave me Josh Jacobs. At the time, a guy who was going to play football. Yeah. And so he can't go into our IR.

39:02 ↗

So not only do I not have a player for half of a year. At best, I don't, at best, I don't have a player for half a year. Right. But also I don't have a bench spot because he's burning one up. So, yeah, but I would, I would still prefer that to a Bigsby. When did the court case get moved to? Was it, is tomorrow? September 10th is in my head. Yes, I think it was September 10th. Okay. I'll look at it. Are you attending?

39:28 ↗

When I say I'll look at it. I mean, I'm going to watch it live from the building. Is that true crime? Someone wants to know, Shea wants to know, when while Andy finally admit that deep down he is really a Packers fan? Well, if you've listened long enough and people have asked outside the Cardinals, who's your favorite team, I have said the Packers. I had my wife's parents lived in Green Bay. But also technically in Wisconsin, but then I've been there. If you listen long enough, you go, man.

39:59 ↗

Why do you hate my team? Oh, I know. Because apparently we hate every team. We hate every team. Which is true. 9 a.m. tomorrow is the court case time for in our time. Gotcha. Where you'll be there. Yeah, so I got to get out of here pretty soon. Better upside question from K. End of bench guy. Pat Bryant, who I just added as my end of bench guy. Or Rashid Shaheed, who I think is also in that category. So it's a close one. It's probably Shaheed. Oh, really?

40:28 ↗

Because I feel more confident in Rashid at the beginning of the season. Pat Bryant is projection. He's still the wide receiver three on the team. Like the Pat Bryant can't pass Waddle. You know, like, so he has to overtake Cortland Sutton in terms of game planning. I think it's going to happen, but that's just a, I think. And Shahid, Shaheed to me has.

40:55 ↗

always and will forever until he proves he's worthless. He's just worthless. Just spike weeks. Yeah, I mean, not that he's not valuable to a team when he catches a 70-yard touchdown. That's great. But for a fantasy, unless you're in a best ball league, like, when are you ever going to be able to reliably start a player with that, you know, archetype? Yeah. I mean, I want it to be Pat Bryant. I think Pat Bryant at least has.

41:21 ↗

you know, some of the buzz and the draft capital and the youth to where it's like... I'm switching. Pat Bryant. Yeah, okay. Let's go. Some questions about the buck in the years wide receivers, which I think, I mean, that's a tough place to be. How confident are you with Abuka with the toe injury? Nick wants to know. He's back to practice, which is great. It looks like he's going to be playing week one, which is great. He did not play well through injury last year, and my confidence is low.
