Oh, well, not quite, but close. All the way to the champions. A lot of quarterbacks went there. Right now we only have one bench spot left. Our quarterback spot is left, and then the defense and kicker. So I am okay rolling out that quarterback spot right now, especially with a guy like Eli Manning on the board. He's still on the board at the end of the 11th round. I'd rather roll him out. Kaepernick, I have higher than him. I don't know if I could talk you guys into him, though. Oh, you could absolutely talk me into Kaepernick. I have Kaepernick. No way.

119 passagesAll right, for Mike's sake. I have Kaepernick higher than Manning. So do I. So do I. So do I. I would rather still take a position here and get the quarterback next. I've been getting so much grief for weeks about my Kaepernick love. And it's, it is fine. I understand it. But it's, you're projecting. That's what we do. We have to do. We have to project and we have to pick guys who are going to break out. But I like Eli Manning's. He's showing that he can do it. He's going to improve in that system.
I'm fine taking Manning. All right, we'll go with Manning. We'll let Mike walk away from this draft with his head held. I got two guys. You got two guys you like. All right. Last bench spot. I'm going to toss this one over to you, Jason, give you some names. Okay. We've got Charles Johnson, Roddy White, Michael Floyd, Steve Smith, Signore. Signore. Senor. Senor. Senor. Thank courtesy of.
Mr. Pat Mayo at the PME. Charles Johnson, Anquan Bold and Marcus Colson, Brashad Perryman, Pierre Garson, John Brown. You're getting an idea of why in a 10-team league there is wide receiver depth throughout the entire draft. Yep. All right, I got mine. Okay. I'm going to take Brashad Perriman. Two combs. There are so... Reggie Bush. Uh-oh.
No. Oh, I thought you froze. David Johnson? David Johnson is a consideration. I think Perryman's a good pick here with our, we have a lot of depth at wide receiver already. Yep. And the reason. I mean, I'm sorry, I'm running back. And then we'll just blow our fab on David Johnson when he. There you go. Yeah. All right. So that, that wraps up this draft. Everything going now is kickers and defenses.
Try to grab the Jets defense. That would be my only advice. Yeah, you've been talking the Jets defense up. Why don't you tell people why you like them in 30 seconds or less? In 30 seconds. They got Revis Island. Then they got Antonio Cromarty. So their secondary is awesome. Their line was already one of the best on defense that there was. And then they drafted a guy that they don't need who was the best de-lineman in the draft. And then they got Todd Bowles as a defense as the...
head coach who is a defensive coordinating guru, and they've got a good... Yeah, Leonard Williams at number six this year. Defensive tackle. That's just... To me, I love the Jets. But I will probably stream no matter what. So whoever I draft, I'm probably going to drop at some point. I'm not going to play the Jets when they go up against, you know, the Packers. It's good to have kind of an idea, though, of some teams that are improving. Todd Bowles from Arizona, we loved them out here. I think he can change that defense, and Dorel Rivas certainly helps.
So that is it for our third mock draft of the off season. Macaroni salad. This is by far the favorite team that we've ended up with. We will post this. That should have been the drop, man. Yeah. Like macaroni and cheese. That's not bad either. I like it. That's pretty good. But I'm hungry. I don't want to get hungry every episode. All we talk about is food. Sorry, I don't want to get hungrier. Hungrier. By far, my favorite team. We will post.
People have asked this before. We'll post this team. We'll actually post the full draft results. Yeah.
on the episode page on the website. Okay. So I'll make sure I post that on there when we post when this episode is live, which you can go to the website right now, the fancy footballers.com, click on that, see the full mock draft results in case you want to see some of the guys that went in between our picks that we didn't have time to mention. And yeah, I'm pretty happy, guys. Yeah, and if you listen to this and you see the value in mock drafting, which I hope you do because it is very important. And you want to do that. We are using...
fantasy draft wizard.com. We've got a link on our website, the fantasy footballers.com. It's free to do. And they've got a bunch of tools. You can actually, if you're in a keeper league or whatever, you can pour in the guys that are kept. There's all sorts of things you can do to make it awesome. And use the tool because our focus here at the fantasy footballers is getting the foot clan to win championships. And I know that the more people that listen to this show that do mock drafts, that's going to be the best way to set you up for success.
I agree. I agree. So let's go ahead and take a few minutes here. We've got a few minutes left on the show. Let's answer some questions from the listeners. Mailbag. I like it. You hijacked that. No, that was wonderful. That was like Austin. Keep it weird. Success. Yeah. If you have a question for the show, you can go to the website, the fantasy footballers.com. Click on the submitted question button. You can also call us, leave us a message on our voice mailbox 302-464 TFFB.
and we will listen and we'll play some of those on this show. I will stress, please keep your voicemail messages to really under about 45 seconds. Yeah, we've had some good ones. We've had good ones that are like two minutes long. I just can't, I can't play those. I'm sorry. But we enjoy them. Thank you. Including a slow clap on our Travis Kelsey defense that I'll give a shout out to even though I can't play it on the show.
He was very happy with us coming to the defense of Mr. Travis Kelsey when we got called out on him. Zeus doesn't need defending. It's true, but we did anyway. Adam from Michigan wants to know. He says he loves the show. He has a Jeremy Hill back tattoo. Joel, man. I want to see the picture. We got to go back to front. If it's a back tattoo and it has the hashtag double stuff on it, you are in the league. Keeper question. You keep two of the following. Brandon Cooks in the seventh, Kelvin Benjamin in the eighth, Latavius Murray in the 16th.
and he's already keeping Jeremy Hill and Jordy. So... Two of them? No, just two of those three. Brandon Cooks in the 7th, Kelvin, Benjamin, and the 8th, and Latavius Murray in the 16th. Well, that's easy. Cooks Murray. Cooks Murray. You hit it before I even agreed with you. It was easy. All right. This one comes in from El Capitan from Hawaii. Bonjour. They do speak French and French and... The question is, when will that joke ever not be funny?
Yes, I agree. Welcome to today's edition of the Rapid Fire round. Please select the following player you believe is best. Okay, ready? Anquan Bolden versus Marcus Colston. Bolden. Bolden. Frank Gore versus Mark Ingram. Gore. Ben Rothesberger versus Matt Ryan versus Tony Romo. Right. Ryan. Ooh. Was that the same name? No, we both said Ryan. I said Ryan. He said Matt Ryan. Oh, all right.
Well, there's your answers. Oh, I like that game. That was the rapid fire round. No, I do too. Did we get three for this? Yes. Yep, I guess we do. Dude, that's a news. We got it. That's a segment that. We got to work out. Well, you answered them quick. You weren't like, blah, blah, blah. All right. Here's a great one. David from Utah, North Utah. Don't be talking about South Utah. Oh, I've heard some things about South Utah. They have bad.
Bad, bad cable service. The skiing in South Utah is just... Well, let me get to the real crux of this one. He says, I like Andy, love, Arian Foster. Where I am drafting, I draft Foster first, and DeAndre Hopkins is always his top wide receiver on the board when he gets to his second pick. He also loves Hopkins. Is it a hindrance?
to have both of those on your team. Perfect question for today. And I've been thinking more and more about this exact matchup because I have those two on my teams. And I don't love it. I think that that would be a tiebreaker for me. In a lot of situations where Hopkins is on the board, there are other guys that I like almost as much that are right there. What is this? Is this hashtag subtraction by addition?
Is that the roster? That is. The roster we're talking about right here? Yep. Yeah. Is that why you don't like it? Quarterback. Quarterback play. Yeah, quarterback play. I just don't think the office is going to support it, and I would rather spread my love around there. I hate to do, not hate, but. Another Pat Mayo drop. Chef Hoyardee. That's not bad. Is what he calls that. It's tough to nickname guys that'll soon be out of the league, though. Seth from Orlando, Florida. Well, did we answer the question?
We just said we don't like it, really. Yeah, we don't like it. I'm fine with those two guys. They're both good, but... They're both going to be good at the end of the year on the stat sheet. I just don't... When they stink? Well, the problem is... I don't know. I'm okay with it. I'm going to say I'm okay with those. I have them in the playoffs, so what am I going to do? I don't like you. All right, Seth from Florida, he runs a two quarterback league where all TDs are seven points. In past years, some owners will draft back-to-back quarterbacks with the first two picks since they accumulate so many points in the league.
What are your thoughts on going with either two stud running backs or one stud running back and one stud rider receiver with the first two picks? Don't do it. Yeah, I would agree with you. I would say don't do it. All of a sudden, the quarterback position becomes very similar to the running back position. Except for they score more. Right, except for now they score more in your crazy league, which I hope you love. Yeah, don't do it. You need a quarterback there. I would not tell someone to...
bypass the running back position. You can't do a zero QB theory type of thing where you're going to draft five QBs at the end. How many teams? I already moved on from that email, so I don't have the... Let's assume 12. If it was 10, then maybe. Maybe I think I could get away within a 12. I'm still going to try and get a high volume touchdown guy in the first.

I'm looking at Jason, and he looked like, I'm good. I don't know.
I had some eye problem there. Yeah, you did. Anything else going on before we got a good show for you Thursday? We got an interview with Number Fires Joe Wan coming up. We're going to talk some Aryan Foster. Dig into the numbers, okay? The fantasy football scientist will be here talking to us about some of the metrics that tell me Aryan Foster is looking really good. Yeah. And so we'll talk about that. We'll go through some news and notes. And, um...
Go to at the league FXX and say we want the footballers on the league. Yeah. I'm really trying to make this happen. Let's get it done. All right. Thanks, everybody. You cut that up way too soon.
