On today's episode, it was a fantastic football game. A lot of fantasy points went against my team. Hopefully they were on your squad and not against you. Not a great way to start the weekend, but a lot of matchups to break down as well. And then to put more hurt on me, I am the shame. I spin the wheel at the end. I was a little tempted to jump into your spot there on the intro, Mike, with...

Thunder snow. Yeah. It's seen the videos of what's going up there. Buffalo, man, it is. That's wild stuff. It's got some stranger things vibes to it because you were just sharing this beforehand. You don't think about the fact that there's not usually thunder in a snowstorm until you see it. And you're like, that's weird. Yeah. That's true. Stranger Things vibes. Yeah, I saw people tweeting yesterday, six feet of snow on the way. Devin Singletary is 5'7. Yes. Just going to be running under the... That's how it works. But the big headline there, they move the game. They move the game to Detroit. They hope to. Maybe. It has been scheduled. Yes. However, one of the teams is still in Buffalo, and that would be the Buffalo Bills and traveling. And not just like, can the plane take off? It's, can the player get to the airport?

2:17 ↗

Yeah. So there are some Josina Anderson tweeting this morning some concerns about, you know, is there a contingency plan here if they can't get out of Buffalo? I don't really understand when they reschedule how they didn't get out then, but they are currently in a position where they haven't traveled yet. And they play in Detroit on Thursday for Thanksgiving. So even just the trying to do away like a one day postponement. Look, the NFL. As we saw during COVID, they find ways to get things done because billions and billions and billions of dollars are on the line. But this is a total logistical nightmare of you cannot make. You can't do Monday Thursday. You can't make the bills play a football game on Monday and then play a football game on Thursday. I mean, there's just a complete competitive disadvantage to the team. Any chance that they just do this over Madden.

3:15 ↗

Just a simulation? Well, I mean, you know, their team is in Buffalo. They cook up and Stefan Diggs is on my team. I am for this because if they simulate that thing on Madden, Diggs might have five touchdowns. Okay. I've played Madden. Is that a solution for fantasy players? If they were to cancel a game. Give me those numbers. Is there, can there be a formal Madden simulation that everyone takes the fantasy stats from? Is that a thing? No, it's a mess. So we'll find out. Also, stay safe, Bubba. That was a nightmare video. For what it's worth, I sent a note to our League of Record this morning saying, like, in the event that this game was flat out canceled. Right. Like, have contingency plans. Mention it out loud, right? In our Slack channel and say, look, if the game's canceled, this is my quarterback. If the games canceled, you know, it's kind of like the COVID world where that was happening. Sure. Would you grant?

4:10 ↗

um extra basically like extra roster spots you know what i mean for a canceled game all of a you're you're late in the week this isn't something you could prepare for this isn't something normal or natural in the process of uh anything we've experienced and so if if you had stephan digs and you've got a full lineup can you play someone essentially off the waivers without making the transaction i don't think so really No, I don't think you could do that. I mean, I think you could accommodate for the roster spots and say people make your plans today if you wanted to do that. But I mean, you can't really just let them play somebody off of waivers, I think. Well, I'm saying like, would you allow to say, okay, you can drop Diggs for the player and Diggs is untouchable. You get Diggs back. Yeah, you could do something like that. Yeah, that's the only way you can.

5:03 ↗

really handle it i mean it's it's brutal hopefully they hopefully we're just over talking it it'll be fine the NFL they always find a way it's an ian malcolm situation i mean just get get the uh get the dog sleds up there oh to get them to the airport yeah i've seen what they do in alaska just dog sled straight to detroit yeah i think you skip if you skip the plane if you leave now maybe you can make it They still do the dog sled racing, right? Oh, yeah, the Iditarod. That seemed like a kind of a thing people talked about when we were kids. Yeah. There was some books about that? Well, there was a movie. There was Iron Will. Oh, boy. How do you remember this stuff, Mike? You remember the song? Come on. I mean, I remember. Once you say it, I remember that movie. Oh, don't remember the ending. Okay. I don't. So we're good. It's Friday. Put Clan Friday.

6:03 ↗

You had the Harrison Ford one that just came out. Oh, yeah. With a dog sled race? No, but it was just Alaska and the dog, like everything was CGI'd. There's Indian, old Indiana Jones and a bunch of CGI characters. I love that he's Indiana Jones. It is Foot Clan Friday. Every week we give away $100 to Fantasychamps.com to a supporter at Jointhefoot.com. One of our Footclan supporters this week's winner is get this. This is their name. The one T-Boss. Oh, whoa. There can not, there's not two. No, no. Or there is, but this person is at the front of the line. Clearly. Congratulations. You win $100. Thank you for supporting the show. You can follow the fantasy footballers on Twitter at the FF Ballers. We're over on Instagram. This is case you need a backup social network. I wouldn't recommend it.com slash fantasy footballers. Well, you can. I mean, yeah, we don't.

7:02 ↗

We don't know what's going on with the Twitter and we want to stay connected to people. So go, uh, go follow us elsewhere. Yeah. So JIC. Just in case. Yep. Uh, the fantasy footballers.com is the website, all the rankings, the Sartsit tool. Uh, all right. I've, I've delayed us long enough with, uh, dog sled racing and, and, and thunder snow. Uh, we're nothing to see here. There's six minutes into the game and unfortunately, we do need to talk about what transpired last night. Unfortunately. Yeah. Unfortunate. You crazy man. What an awesome game happened last night. The Green Bay Packers were defeated by the Tennessee Titans 27 to 17. Mike had Alan Lazard who, uh, dare I say 11 targets baby may have put forth the worst game of his career. 11 targets. Uh, multiple drops five for 57. So I.

7:58 ↗

No separation if you watch the... I won't disagree with separation, but the drops... He had multiple drops. Yeah, multiple. I don't know if I call those complete drops. I call them complete drops. Now, there were some that weren't his fault, that Rogers, he even came out after the game and said he missed him. There were overthrows that he could not have caught. Right. But then there were balls that were in his, like two, I can think of two. He was on both sidelines. Pure drops. Pure drops from Ellen Lazzard. Christian Watson has never dropped the ball. I mean, that guy just hands of glue. But four for 48 and the big difference maker, two touchdowns for Christian Watson. Had the touchdown on the, I mean, the free play, the vintage Aaron Rogers seeing a defensive mistake, exploiting it, getting everyone to the line, getting a free play because there's 12 people on the field and just throws up.

8:51 ↗

hoping for a touchdown and Christian Watson came down with it. When you're six, four and that fast, it is a tremendous advantage. Five touchdowns in two weeks for Christian Watson. It's unbelievable. Mike played Lazard. Jason played Watson. Jason almost didn't play Watson. I went back and forth many, many times. And I was pretty staunch about like, I don't know how you bench him. I didn't know what was going to happen. That's for sure. But I knew that if you didn't play him and then last night happened, this morning's version of Jason, well, Would be better for the show views. It would be a very broken man. Yeah, that's true. I am happy to report. I did start Christian Watson, so that went well. I also had Derek Henry, and that went well as he rushed for a touchdown, through for a touchdown, and had 28 mostly inefficient carries. I was mostly okay with the Derek Henry situation until the...

9:46 ↗

Look, I'm... You said 80 yards in a touchdown was your goal. I'm saying that this line is completely from a biased situation of not on team Packers. I'm on team, not Henry. The missed holding call on the Derek Henry screen that went for 40 plus yards. Oh, was there a missed holding call on that? Dude. Like the... The 41-yard screen pass. The defender... like got fully turned around as he was rushing it. It was highlighted even on the replay. They're like, oh, they got away with one right there, which turned into a 40-yard reception and then a touchdown. It's like, these are the things that we watch. The one missed holding call turned into 10.

10:25 ↗

fantasy points. And it was just like at that point it was like, well, F this. I'm out. Good job. That wasn't the point where Jason was dancing around you middle fingers out. Oh, I mean, yeah. Doing high kicks and clapping under my legs. Can anybody explain the bomb to Trailing Berks? Under two minutes when it's a two-score game. It's brilliant coaching. Was that an F-U moment? No, it's Mike Vrable being a better coach than most coaches. It was two minutes and four seconds left. So you just assume you're going to run the ball, except you don't need to run the ball because the clock stops either way. So the whole defense is playing up, and they're thinking if it's a long enough pass, then the clock stops at two minutes regardless of a completion or incompletion. It's brilliant coaching. That man is so...

11:10 ↗

next level smarter than most of the coaches out there. And that all adds up in my head now that you laid it out. I didn't know if Jayor Alexander was like chirping the whole game and they went after him on the last play. But that gave Traylen Berks a very healthy 7 for 11. His best game is a pro. It was, I mean, even before that, it was very. It wasn't like a big fantasy day, but it was very encouraging to see his involvement. They threw the ball well. I mean, Robert Woods had six catches. That was the worst part. It was like, okay, we know that Green Bay is going to get run on. And then they weren't. But it was all it was all these third downs of like they just couldn't stop Ryan Tannahill. I think we'd all agree that if there's any player in the NFL that you had to bet your life on scoring a touchdown in a football game.

11:58 ↗

We're all taking Derek Henry. Like there's just no, it always works out somehow for Derek Henry to get into the end zone. The only consolation I had was our friends at Draft Kings had a very nice happiness hedge for me where they gave Derek Henry quite a nice touchdown boost. And Kyle and I, of course, took that. Did you just, is that a new phrase, the happiness hedge? Yeah, we've been working on that. So it's just something you do. To avoid having the worst night of your life? Yes. Okay. Well, the Packers lost again. I mean, let's not lose that. And AJ Dylan, I want to highlight this. He has nothing. AJ Dylan is nothing. At this point, yeah. And look, I'll take it on the chin. I thought this season would be, certainly didn't think the Packers were going to be sitting at 4 and 7. They had been, what, 13 and 3? They've been great. And their offense had been great.

12:54 ↗

But when you are playing from behind, you're not going to see AJ Dillon on the field very often. And he's just not efficient or effective. This has just been a bad year for them. AJ Dillon is not worthy of a roster spot. And I think he's worthy of a roster spot as an insurance back because I do think if you're saying if you have Aaron Jones. Well, either way, if Aaron Jones goes down to injury, then he's got value. But I will say this. We've got to give some credit to Tennessee Titans rushing defense. They've been outstanding. They held the entire team to sub three yards per carry. You can throw on the Titans usually, but you cannot run on them well right now. All right. Let's get into the news.

13:39 ↗

News and notes from around the league. Presented by USAA Insurance. Briefly, obviously, if the game does take place in Detroit, Buffalo, Cleveland, you know, this is big news for the quarterback situation. Josh Allen, Stefan Diggs, Gabe Davis, they were all looking very questionable. And then on the other side, even Amari Cooper, Donovan People's Jones. Is Amari Cooper on the road? It's close enough? At a neutral game site. Neutral Amari Cooper is in my lineup, yeah. Okay. Yeah, he won't feel the opposing crowd sneers. And it's really the sneers. He hates the sneers and jeers. He hates me. He hates me. The sneers and jeers, they get him a little shaky. Bad separation when you're being sneered at. Yeah. The chief placed McColl Hardman on the Indy Reserve.

14:30 ↗

It's an abdomen injury and an illness. You know, I don't know. It sounded like, you know, is it appendicitis? Is it a sports hernia? You know, that's the abdomen area. Spleen? Could be a spleen. Divertigitis? Yeah, go. Oh, diverticulitis is. Chipotle. I mean, we don't know what it is. It is IR. So I think Chipotle is, I mean, that makes sense. We fully expect Juju Smith-Schuster to not be there this week. Cadarius, Tony, is, I mean, you talk about yesterday. Great play. And to be clear, Juju's not ruled out yet, to my knowledge. He has not ruled out. I've seen him questionable on platforms. I just want to make sure that we don't state something that's not. We're saying we're not expecting him to play. Correct. Correct. Yes. I just wanted to know if there was news from myself. Players that are good to go, Matthew Stafford, David Montgomery, Jamal Williams. They all practiced in full after missing personal day for David Montgomery. Jamal Williams had an illness. So there you go. Other injury updates.

15:29 ↗

I don't know if Wondale's going to play. Didn't practice at all on Thursday. That hamstring kept him out of games earlier in the year. Seems doubtful. Is Darius Slayton as a very sneaky start this week? He is. Zeke limited. He said barring any surprises, he will play. It's the player, but I believe it based on the timeline. He said he was very close, or they said he was really close last week. Mark Andrews limited again on Thursday. He was limited the last two weeks where he obviously, by week last week, but before that he was limited, did not play. And I was reading quotes this morning from Mark Andrews. And he, it was, it really scared me because it was like, I can't wait to get back out there. But we're taking a really more mature, like, look at it and looking at the long term.

16:17 ↗

Are you not playing? So Mark Andrews is really questionable to me. I agree. I think he is. If people in your league think he's coming back and they have Isaiah likely and you have Mark Andrews, you might want to go try to ensure your Mark Andrews. David Njoku participated on Thursday. I still think he's questionable. Cole Commet Limited. DeAndre Hopkins did not practice on Thursday. Yeah, what is this? With a hamstring injury, but they play on Monday night. So this is basically your Wednesday. This could be a day of rest. You got to pay attention to this, though, because they play on Monday night. If he doesn't practice today, now you go, oh, this is legit. This is new. And last year was the hamstring, right? I don't remember if that was hamstring. I think it was. So I don't know if this is the same leg or not, but the.

17:07 ↗

When he missed all those games last year, I believe it was a hamstring. But you need to have a pivot option on Sunday because they play on Monday, unless he's back to full practice today, in which case you just wash this off as a day of rest. That was today's news and notes presented by USAA Insurance. Learn more at USAA.com slash insurance. One headline I forgot to mention. Go ahead. Go ahead. Get it out. Megalada. Thank you. That was one of your best. Thank you. Next Wednesday, ahead of Thanksgiving, the annual Megalodon episode of the show. We take three episodes, the Wednesday, Thursday, Friday shows, and then we congeal them. The Zord was the Zords they get together to create a mega. Wait, is it the Power Rangers? Is that a Power Rangers? The Megasords? Yeah. Or Megazord? What's the other one people talk about? Voltron. Voltron. Yes. Voltron was, that's.

18:05 ↗

Old people. Like Papa Josh. Captain America or not Captain Planet. Yes. There you go. We're creating a Captain Planet episode. Mm-hmm. Do we have the like PSA at the very end? Look, he's going to take pollution down to zero. So next Wednesday, expect a very long episode of this show. We'll cover everything as we had into the Thanksgiving holiday. And Jason, you, you were not part of the footcast yesterday. Mm-mm. So, but I want to get you to weigh in real quick. What's your 101 Thanksgiving Day food? Ham, honey baked ham. Oh, we had a lengthy discussion about how we, we are overtaking Thanksgiving with the, with the ham. Ham's getting in there. Oh, yeah, like, ham is so much better than turkey. It's not. Honey baked ham. Honey baked ham. I was just, I mean, they call it a Christmas ham for a reason. It had Christmas by the throat, but now it's going, it's coming for Thanksgiving. Yeah, yeah, because it's so good.

19:01 ↗

I mean, turkey is good, too. I prefer both. Turkey is fine. Turkey is okay. I don't dislike turkey. Turkey is not an, I'm not anti-turkey, but I'm not going to sit there and be like, oh, turkey is so good guys. You ever had this turkey? No, it's turkey. It's dry white meat. Okay. I figured you'd have some strong opinions on this holiday. Bring the ham. Bring the ham. All right, end of the forecast we go. Fantasy forecast. And by end of the forecast, we go, I'm going to detour for a moment. Perfect. Can we throw the deucer cam up? By the way, Jay Gris in the house again. I need an explanation, Kyle, because today you've got your Braves cap on. I know you're a Braves fan. But we've seen you in Boston, a Boston cap. And then I think it was yesterday we saw you in a California Angels cap. Yeah, it is correct. Which, look, I get it. It's a little bit nostalgic, right? Because they don't exist anymore. Maybe he just was confusing the A. Angels in the outfield.

20:04 ↗

That's what I was going for. Is that what it was? That's why you bought it. Little JGL action. Matthew McConaughey's in that movie. Joseph Gordon-Liv. It's a big deal movie. For you. Yes. How do you skip over Tony Danza? Yeah, that's, first of all. So you just don't have a sense of obligation to wear your home team at all times. Yeah, it's baseball. Yeah. Good point, Mike. Okay. You don't need, you don't need any allegiances. I'm having fun. You're having fun. There you go. Yeah. By not watching baseball. I'm a little surprised you don't just pivot between Angels and the Outfield, memorabilia, and Mighty Ducks and just stay there. He kind of does that. Yeah, he does. All right. Yesterday we covered the Browns Bills, Bears, Falcons, Eagles, Colts, Jets, Patriots, Rams, Saints, Lions, Giants, Panthers, Ravens. Six games left to talk about today. But don't worry. After that, Mike gets shamed more than he did last night. He gets to spin the wheel. You look, you cannot kill what is already dead. Right.

21:02 ↗

I know it's a surprise to everybody. Do whatever. I do not care. No, you've, you're just, you're a dead man. Yep. Just limp on the ground. I'll be in this seat, just hanging out. So you didn't watch the whole game? You were done? I watched the whole game. I watch the whole game. I don't, yeah, I don't, I don't rage quit the game. I rage watch. Yeah, okay. That's fair. Scream at Alan Lazard. Did you get any postmates to any happiness hedge there? We did do a pretty big pizza. Okay. I did pizza last night too. Washington 5 and 5 taking on the one seven and one Houston Texans. The manders. Might as well just, why don't we just call the Texans the palindrome? Because they're not going to win another game.

21:50 ↗

And they're not going to tie another game. So they'll be the palindrome the rest of the year. The middle number just keeps going up. It's just going up. Drafking Sportsbookline, Washington, minus three. The overrunners 41. Washington started one and four. They are four and one since then. Houston, man, they have led for 11% of their plays. Nice work. So the upset last week, Washington taking out the Philadelphia Eagles. Taylor Heineke is going to stay a quarterback. And I think we are all very bullish on the running backs in this game. Houston is addicted to something. And that is giving up 30 plus points to opposing fantasy running backs. They are dead last in the league. I mean, if you break up 30.6 fantasy points, their average giving up across Brian Robinson and Antonio Gibson. You will be happy with both players. Yeah, completely. Brian Robinson is a shoe in to me for 20 carries in this game against the...

22:47 ↗

world's worst run defense. Antonio Gibson catches passes. So you could start both of them for sure. They are, uh, the Texans only one of three teams since 2009 giving up more than 30 fancy points per game. Uh, they love it. It's their favorite thing to do. Terry McLaren eight for one, 28 last week. If Heineke's in there, McClorin is in there, right? Yeah, McClorin is definitely in there. He's been targeted enough and, and he's good enough. This isn't a great defense, but I will caution. anytime that teams not, teams that can run the ball that would like to run the ball when they play against Houston, they're able to run the ball. And so the passing game, like you said, 11% of the plays this season, the Texas have had the lead, which means you could just keep running the ball. You don't have to throw it a lot. So I don't expect a good game from Heineke. I don't expect a great game from Terry McLaurin, not because the Houston, Texas defense is good, but because it's too easy to just.

23:43 ↗

get a W against by running the ball. Yeah, the trouble comes when, let's say, your first score and your second score are they come on the ground or through the defensive side of the ball. And you've got a lead and then they get to do what they want to do, which is slow the game down, run 50 plays on the ground. You really want McLaren to be that first touchdown in a neutral game. I think even if he doesn't get the touchdown, though, it'll be run, run deep pass to Terry McLaren. is how I see it going. John Dodson is back. Sure. Still working his way back into the fold, but he was better with wins. The target shares for Terry in the Manders passing offense since Hineke has taken over, 25, delicious, 27, 34. Can we get a 50 in there? Can we get a 50% Terry McLaurin game? All right. On the other side of the ball, Damien Pierce, you must play Damien Pierce.

24:41 ↗

The Washington Mander's defense has been great against running backs, but he's matchup proof because they just give him so much work. He's the offense. He's been very good. And to be clear, like, yeah, to the last point, like last week, you know, he's 5.5 a carry against the Giants last week. with a 44-yarder. The week before, 5.1 to carry with a 36-yarder. Like, he has a 75-yard run on the year. Like, he breaks a long one eventually. And wasn't one of those very difficult run defense? I don't have his schedule in front of me. Yeah, Philadelphia. Yeah, exactly. So he has matchup proof, like Jason said. You have Brandon Cooks and Nico Collins. I don't really, I don't want to play them because I've played, I've seen Brandon Cooks for eight weeks, and I don't.

25:27 ↗

Look, you might have to. Like, if you had to choose between those two guys, are you playing Brandon Cooks over Nico Collins? I am. I realize Nico has been the better player. Brandon Cooks has been missing time, but I still believe Brandon Cooks is the better wide receiver. He's had enough targets in games he's played. So I would still, I don't want to play either, but I would choose Cooks over Nico. By the way, Wanda Robinson trending in the right direction according to head coach Brian Dable. Oh, fantastic. Those two targets. I was going to say, like he is still somebody I'm making.

25:57 ↗

prove it on my bench right now. Let's take a quick break and then we'll come back with the two best teams in football. Yeah, that's right, the Raiders. Oh, it was a, it was a trap. It was. The Raiders are two and seven, the Broncos are three and six. Welcome back. We fooled you. You thought we were talking about good teams. Yeah, this ain't no NFC East, gentlemen. This is the, uh, the bottom of the barrel, Raiders, Broncos. This was the chosen division. Oh, man. I mean, I feel I'm, I'm Obi-1 screaming. You are the chosen one. The AFC West. Five and 13 between the two teams. Wow. Denver minus three. That's the Draft King Sportsbook line. The game is in Denver. The overrunner is just 41. Las Vegas did win this game 3223 in week four in their home building.
