the wide receiver two in this scenario. It was a really bad year for Matthew Stafford. I'm going to believe he improves in the second year of the offense. And I believe in Marvin Jones, the player. Meanwhile, I don't believe that their new free agent signing of Danny Amandola, I don't think he can last the whole time. And you're going to be back to two options with Carry on Johnson. Marvin Jones is still 6'2. Still, yes. He's 29 years old.

28:08 ↗

Coming off a nine touchdown season in 2017, he's not going to be a volume receiver. He never has been. No. He's going to be a red zone receiver. He's going to be a big play receiver. He had 18 yards of catch in 2017. He only caught 61 passes in his top 12 season. We knew the 18 was unsustainable. But the year before that, right around 17, and you saw that plummet in 2018 down to 14 and a half. It was if you watched Marvin Jones, which.

28:37 ↗

Honestly, I had him selfishly, so I watched him very carefully. Those 50-50 balls, which they hit on like every single one of them in 2017, Stafford and Jones had a very strong connection with that type of pass. Marvin Jones was just getting missed or was dropping because he was getting hit. I think it was a just probability bounced the wrong way. So I'm still very in on Marvin Jones, and I think he's going to be close to free.

29:05 ↗

I think there's going to be a lot of situations where you're the Kenny Galliday owner and you're rolling your eyes because this week was a Marvin guest. I can agree with that part, but I mean, Marvin Jones, look, he's a best case scenario. He's in the 60 catches. You know, this is not a guy I think that's going to really help you. He's on a team that is now wanting to run the ball more, pass the ball less. If you have fewer passing attempts in that offense and you've got a guy who caps in the 60s,

29:30 ↗

What is he getting you now? 50 catches and that's just not going to do it for fantasy. You're not going to know which week he gets the long bomb touchdown. Coming off injury, 29 years old. We'll have to see what they do in the draft. But yeah, I'm not excited at all about Marvin Jones. Well, let me ask you this, Mike, because I know where I cite on it. If you had to pick between the Kenny Galladay, what, where is he going to go? Two, three rounds earlier? Minimum. Minimum, right? Kenny Gallaudet will be in the top four rounds easy. I don't, I don't see.

29:58 ↗

I think you're going to basically have identical statistical seasons between those two guys with the coin flip on who gets some more touchdowns. I don't think it'll be identical. I would side heavily in, I would say, 95% chance that Kenny Gallaudet has a better season. Did Gallaudet miss any games last year? I can't say off the top. Just for context. He was at 70, just over 1,000.5. Gallaudet started 13 games, played in 15. So he did miss one, didn't start the whole season.

30:26 ↗

Where is Marva Jones going to be drafted? I mean, eighth round, ninth round? Maybe. Yeah, probably more. Because that's like, that's where he was going last year. If it was up to me, 12th round, 13th round. His ADP and a half point league is actually back of the 6th right now. I don't think that'll hold up. Where Galladay is going, fourth round?

30:47 ↗

Yeah, I don't think that holds up for Jones. See, and I think what you were going to say is what's the gap. So if Gallaudet is fifth round and let's say Marvin Jones is ninth round, 10th round. I would still prefer Gallaudet. If Gallaudet is a fifth round, yes. But if Gallaudet would be a third or fourth round pick. Yes, he will. And that's what I'm saying. If a third round pick for Kenny Gallaudet or a eighth round pick, ninth round pick for Marvin Jones, I will take the value. I don't want the one. What does he finish out? Mike, wide receiver one.

31:16 ↗

Well, his finish will be, I don't think the finish will be as strong as the impact he'll make for your team. I agree with Jason. Yes, you won't know when it's going to happen, but you're when he'll have his big games, but you're not counting on Marvin Jones to do that. He's your flex play. He's your nitro boost that if he hits, I win. I win this week automatically. If he doesn't hit, I still have a good chance to win. Deshawn Jackson or Marvin Jones in 2019, Jason. Deshawn Jackson for sure.

31:46 ↗

All right, Will Fuller and Kiki QT. Let's remember both of these guys in Houston. Oh, Fuller. DeAndre Hopkins dominates all the headlines in Houston, but Fuller and QT has, they have both shown fantasy owner something. They've also shown them repeated injury issues. I mean, Will Fuller, that dude has just dominated when he's on the field. Every time he's out there, he torches guys and destroys his legs. You know, what do you make of him?

32:16 ↗

He is, he's one of those guys, you know, I was talking earlier about the hamstring issue, right? He's dealt with hamstring issues coming off an ACL. There's a huge injury risk with Will Fuller. Huge. But if he's out there. But, okay, well, knowing the injury risk is so huge, are you out? I'm not out on Fuller. No, I'm willing to take the gamble because.

32:38 ↗

So let's say I draft, let's compare Marvin Jones and Will Fuller to each other, right? And let's say Marvin Jones is a guaranteed 16 games, and Will Fuller is a chance at being healthy gamble. I don't really, I would rather have that, right? I'd rather have a guy where when he's out there, I'm confident in starting him on my fantasy roster, and then he's not out there. And I, unfortunately, if he's injured, I've got to cut him.

33:04 ↗

I've got to find someone else to replace him, but when he's in and starting on my roster, he's beating my opponent. I would rather take the risk on a guy like Will Fuller than a guy like Marvin. Does that make sense? Yeah, it makes sense, but I don't think I agree with it. I don't think I agree with the fact that- Maybe we disagree on what Will Fuller is? Well, yeah, I mean, when Marvin Jones played last year, he was more consistent week-to-week than Will Fuller was. Will Fuller had big-time games, and so can Marvin Jones? And both are playing a similar role, right? You're the two.

33:33 ↗

on a team with probably a good quarterback, not necessarily prolific passer. But you like Fullermore is what you're saying. You'd rather take a shot on him, whereas I see QT as more of a potential negative on secondary targets outside of Hopkins. Like Hopkins is far more dominant than Gallaudet. Yes. He's going to have far, far more receptions than Gallaudet will. And then QT, I think, has...

34:01 ↗

big time upside as that slot guy. Whereas right now, I don't know if I believe Danny Hemandola really has it. So I lean Marvin Jones more than the often injured Fuller. But Mike, you might, the hard part for Will Fuller is the targets. Because when Kiki showed four picks from each other, by the way. What? Fuller and Jones. Fuller and Jones. Marvin 6.09 Fuller 7.01. So this is a good comparison. When Fuller started the year, because he was.

34:31 ↗

Coming off another injury, he got in to week two, I mean, nine targets, 11 targets, five. I don't even take the five, but that's when Kiki started entering the realm and it dropped to three targets, two straight games, and then Kiki was missing, so it kind of went back up. It's Kiki wasn't there in the beginning, right? Right. Yeah, when the really high volume was there, Kiki was not playing. So, and Kiki's a...

34:57 ↗

a target machine. Like that that's the role he plays in the offense. So it's hard for me to get behind Will Fuller, even though I want to because of the tertiary target that Kiki QT is versus Danny Amidola. Brooks, how many games is Will Fuller play next year? Tell the people. Probably about 10. 10 games. Last year he missed from what week? Where did he go out last year? I just missed it. Fuller went out in week nine, didn't return.

35:26 ↗

And then QT only played week 11 and 12 and basically missed the same time span. They could be a pretty good team next year. These guys can stay healthy. If the three of them can stay on the field, their offense is going to be great. It's going to be a whole lot better than the Lions offense. Do you like Kiki with Fuller out there? Is that where you would prefer the offense? PPR. Sure. PPR, I'll take the chance. All right. Let's not forget about another player here.

35:51 ↗

Another couple of wide receivers we want to bring out before he changed positions. Albert Wilson, Marquis Goodwin, Geronimo Allison. Now, I know I've heard Geronimo Allison's name recently on the show. We've talked about him, an opportunity for him to be kind of like in a different, I guess, tier than those three other rookies that each had a few games in Green Bay.

36:14 ↗

I've heard you talk about Albert Wilson, too. Obviously, he was lightning in a bottle last season. He had a monster week three, a monster week six. But he's not a prototypical receiver situation. A lot of handoffs, a lot of stuff behind the line of scrimmage, screen passes. I have not heard you talk about Marquis Goodwin. You both seem very out on Marquis Goodwin. Very astute. A player who, look, in the back half of 2017, and then in parts of last year,

36:44 ↗

And especially in the preseason with the rapport with Garoppola, who obviously went out. Goodwin was hyped in a big way last season. Why are you so out on him? Is it just Dante Pettis? Is it an injury? It's the same reason I was out on him last year. His injury history is a whole other level. And it's unfortunate. It's concussions. Like a Will Fuller level? I'm saying a whole other level from Will Fuller's.

37:09 ↗

Which is saying something. I just don't believe that Goodwin will be able to stay on an NFL field for, you know, I don't know, man, you put the over under at four and a half games, and I guess I'll statistically have to take the over, but I'm, you know, I just don't see Goodwin as an NFL wide receiver that can stay out there. I don't remember how many concussions he's had, but it's numerous. An uncomfortable amount.

37:39 ↗

The thing about Goodwin, because I side more with Jason of being out, knowing that you're going to be wrong for a couple games. I don't doubt that when he's on the field, he can have a big game or two. It seemed like they were really wanting to make the transition to Marquis Goodwin to be the guy for that team. They've moved on from Pierre Garcone, but I think that Dante Pettis is going to be the guy.

38:07 ↗

for that team. It's worth highlighting the injury that he missed time with last year was a quadricep injury. Right. Yes. It wasn't related to a concussion history, but that is a risk with him. I think there could be some value in Marquise Goodwin. If you guys liked the offense so much, you talked about it. Dante Pettis, I don't think he's going to carry the entirety of that load. I think Goodwin is very interesting as a value. All right.

38:34 ↗

And to be fair, while the concussions to me are the scary part from both a fantasy and a human side, he's missed a lot of games with a lot of other injuries, missed games from ribs, missed games from ankles, wrist, calf, quad. He's a ninth round pick right now. So he's basically, I mean, he's in the Curtis Samuel, Adam Humphrey's range. All right, yeah, maybe some value.

39:02 ↗

It's always, it's fascinating to me when you go from, I mean, I just remember how many shows lost off season. It was Marky's great when talk. So that's why we want to remember and have these discussions again, because sometimes you buy back in. Sometimes you were validated on your fear of injury during the season and you don't want, you know, you have a policy. You just don't want to put those guys in your team. You don't want to go through it again. I get that. Running backs, Darius, guys.

39:29 ↗

We can throw Chris Thompson in there too because all the running backs were hurt last year in Washington for a second straight season. Set out the entire 2018 year due to a torn ACL looked great in the preseason. Did he not? Yes, he did. But not only did he have the torn ACL. He also underwent three additional surgeries to clean up an infection in the same knee. I can't imagine that's good. No. And Matthew Betts.

39:57 ↗

One of our writers said the infection can't be taken for granted, delayed the rehab, delayed the ACL behind schedule. They signed AP. They re-signed Adrian Peterson. I mean, I think that that goes along with the injury recovery, right? It's not just, oh, they don't like Geis, and so they signed AP and he's going to take him on the workload. It's you have a guy now.

40:23 ↗

who they've brought in to say AP can do enough of the job to where you're not going to thrust Geis into a workhorse role. I mean, I can't imagine them coming out and being like, okay, guys, here's 24 carries. It would be a second half of the season type of assent for Geis, in my opinion. Right. Right. That would be something where like, didn't we see that with Dalvin Cook? Wasn't it the fear with Dalvin Cook coming back? Yes. We thought we'd see a lot of Latian. Things can change quickly.

40:53 ↗

Because coaches in the NFL want to win the game. And as soon as they see a player's okay or they're capable, like we thought Latavius, right? Latavius, Latavius, Latavius, Latavius. It was like, we too. And it was like Dalvin Cook's, oh, Dalvin's the man when he's healthy. So that possibility exists. I know that they like Geis's flexibility in the passing game and the ability they keep reiterating that.
