You know, look, Sony. My fitness consiglieri, Michel. Yes, Sony, Michel. Going into last week, he was one of those, like, look, you have to plug him in your lineup because he's been getting, you know, again, going into last week, 21 carries, 17 carries, 20 carries, he's getting Red Zone work. Some of that was with Rex Burkhead back. His volume was good, but then all of a sudden this last week, he continued running poorly, and he didn't continue getting the volume.

116 passagesHe only got 13 carries. Buffalo's defense is not too scary to me for running backs. So Buffalo's defense, they're great against quarterbacks right now, great against wide receivers and tight end. But the running back is kind of their weak spot if they've got a weak spot. Look, in Quinn Suocha, Rex Burkhead has absolutely.
stolen the soul of fantasy value for Sony Michelle and James, like, this, I, um, I still, I, you can, you can play him, but I, I'm not trusting him at all, at all. What about like, so you've got Tavin Coleman. He's got the show to himself. Interesting. In Carolina. Uh-huh. Or you've got Sony Michelle as large favorites at home.
which, you know, home favorites, that's great for a running back. Which one would you play out of those two? Oh, man, right now, Sony is ahead in my rankings, but I would play Tevin Coleman. I'm going to have to make an adjustment. That's identical to me. I was looking at my rankings saying I don't agree with how high Sony is. I think he's more, he belongs down near where Tevin Coleman is. I mean, look.
I was not the hugest Sony. I mean, we disagreed on Sony Michelle coming out of the draft. You were a big fan. I didn't like him. I liked him once he was drafted in the first round by New England Patriots. Great situation. But I'm disappointed with the amount of carries he's had on the season for his touchdown volume on the Patriots. The Patriots usually have a great touchdown, rushing touchdown total.
as a team. And so far, what does he have? Four, five touchdowns on the season. We're coming up to the last two weeks of the season, and he's been getting 20 plus carries plenty. So, yeah, I think I go Tevin Coleman in that situation. It's a matter of who you have on your roster. I think we at least laid out Sony's situation for you. Hopefully that helps. We've gotten a lot of questions about James Connor and Jalen Samuel. So this one's from Facebook, from Daniel.
If Connor is active, would you still play Samuels as your tight end? No, I wouldn't. So Jalen Samuels at the tight end position or David and Joku? David and Joku. Do you believe that Jalen Samuels has played his way into sharing the load? No. I don't think he will share the load. The question is, do you think Jalen Samuels can get...
three to four receptions with a scoring opportunity. Well, he can. So like if you look back week 10, Carolina, then that would be at least equal, if not better than two, David and Joku. He had three receptions for 22 yards and a touchdown. So you were okay. But that's like his peak, his peak before James Connor went down. I mean, usually here's his line. His line is zero carries, zero carries, three carries.
You know, he just had no involvement when James Connor was there. And we joke on air and off air. We know what Mike Tomlin's doing. When Mike Tomlin came out and said, we're going to have a committee, we're going to share with Jaylon Samuels. Yeah, we were joking around like, oh, sure you will. No, no, he's not. There's so much history. It was kind of like, you know, with Norv Turner. When you have a coach with as much history.
of him doing the exact same thing over and over and over, you know, you can predict it. You can say with pretty fair certainty, they're not going to have an RBBC. When Connor gets back, it's going to be the Connor show. So I'm not starting Jalen Samuels. I would still rather start and joke it. This one's off of Instagram from Rogers, Jeff. Rogers underscore Jeff. If Spencer Ware is active, would you start where or your favorite?
running back of all time, Damien Williams. If Spencer Ware is active, Damian Williams does not belong in a game. That's my opinion. Now, could he do what happened a couple weeks ago? He'll still be in a time sharing. Yeah, he'll still be all wear, but I would start wear over Damien Williams. Correct. That being said, I don't think Ware starts. I don't think Ware is in the game. So Damian Williams, to me, is still very attractive. If Ware comes back... It's got great eyebrows. Yeah, I mean...
Yeah, you wake up and you say, oh, this is, this was Damien Williams. I made a tragic mistake. Great eyebrows. But great eyebrows. What is happening? This one's off of Twitter from Burpee Stevens. Is it a good idea? Burpee? Yeah, Burpee Stevens. You got a problem with that? I don't, I mean, I can't burp myself, but. Burpee Stevens. All right, Stevens. Maybe he does the exercise move, the burpee a lot. Yes, that's, that's what it is. Have you ever done a burpee? Have you ever done 10?
I don't know if I've done 10. I quit after one. Yeah. Good for you because they're the worst. Yeah. Exercise. Yeah. Get out of my face. Exercise. Stay obtuse. There's a wide angle. Is it a good idea to load up the bench with quarterbacks for championship week if the tiebreaker is bench points? I've actually thought about this before. I was going to say it on yesterday's show. Yeah. If your tiebreaker is bench points, then yeah. I mean, once your lineup is pretty much.
I hold off until Sunday morning. Yes. Because I don't want some freaky deaky thing to happen where I got to scramble for now a backup running back. Yeah. Let's say you've got open waivers. You do it right before game time. Go and throw Sam Darnold on your bench or whoever's out there. If they're a quarterback, they're going to score more points.
Load up. If it's championship week, if you don't have keeper considerations, then whatever. You're not hurting yourself. You're only helping. If your waivers run once a day, do it Sunday morning so that those players you're dropping can't be kept. But I would just say if it's the Sunday morning waiver, leave yourself an out for some kind of warm-up injury. Leave one player that you can flex in should somebody get injured. Otherwise, you're going to be like, oh.
I lost the championship, but look at all my bitch points. This one's off of IG from JMAG. Can I trust Rob Gruncowski in the finals or should I roll with Evan Engram? Oh, don't ask that. I really don't want this question asked on the show because when I was too late, that cuts out of the bag. Wow, this seems personal. This is, look, I'm making my rankings and I, I toiled.
with the Rob Gronkowski Evan Ingram ranking. And I landed on Evan Ingram one spot ahead of Grunk. That's how I have my rankings. And I literally thought, I believe it. And I really hope people don't look. I really hope people don't ask me because I don't want to follow up and say it. But the truth is I believe it. Like if it was my team, I'm willing to do that to myself. You know, like that's the difference. And you give this advice is like,
I can handle that. I'm making the decision. So yes. I'm a man. I'm a man. I can do it. Look, I believe that you can start Evan Ingram over Gronk. I would do it. But you have to make that decision because losing with Gronk on your bench when you're getting too cute, you're going to be mad at me. And I'm saying, if you're, if you put it to, all right, here's my answer. If you're the type of person that's going to be mad at me when I say play Evan Ingram, then play Gronk. That's my answer. Otherwise, I would go Evan Ingram. Let me ask you this.
Does that have any impact if Odell Beckham actually plays? 100% is only if Odell Beckham is out. Thank you for clarifying that. I don't expect Odell Beckham to play. That's how my rankings are set up right now. If Odell Beckham is in the game, it's wrong city. Speaking of Odell Beckham. Hey, footballers. This is Dylan from Ohio. Got a little bit of a dilemma. Kind of hypothetical as well. But I have Odell Beckham. I'm in the last week of my two-week playoffs.
Up by 15. Let's say Odell's healthy. Do you guys trust him enough, or should I flex him somebody like Chris Carson instead? All right, guys. Keep up the good work. Thank you. So what was crazy is I was like, of course I trust him enough. Like, and I do. If O'Dell Beckham is healthy, you're putting O'Dell Beckham out there. He's going to be great. But then he said, Chris Carson, who's taking on the Kansas City Chiefs. And Chris Carson is...
great. I mean, Chris Carson's been a beast. He's a very good play this week. He's at home against the Chiefs. I mean, I think I go Chris Carson there. Chris Carson is my running back eight right now. Yeah, I mean, look, last week, he was my start of the week. The last two weeks, both weeks, 22 carries, both weeks a touchdown, 90 yards, 120 yards.
So you're averaging 105 yards and a touchdown and 20 plus carries. You're at home against the team that's bad against the run. This is not an anti-Odell Beckham take. I mean, I would say this. If O'Dell Beckham had been healthy, had never had a quad injury at all, and you're just going into the game, both are fully healthy, I would go to L. Beckham. But there is still the chance when a guy misses two games in a row, you come back where you aggravate injury. We see it all the time. Right.
If you've got a great option like that, then I would probably go with Chris Carson and take that injury risk off my team. But in general, I love Odell Beckham if you plays. Off of IG from, Yaboilo, Amari Cooper, or Derek two-game turn up Henry in my flex in a PPR. Oh, PPR, you say. PPR.
P. R. That's a pirate. That's a pirate. That's favorite scoring format. PPR. Dang it. I feel like they would be just as happy with half point PPR. No, no. Pirates all in, though. That's true. They never, they never half anything. No, they want all the booty. You ever, you ever tried to half a piece of weight? No, it doesn't work. I love Michael Keaton. There was a question here. It was Amari Cooper. Yeah, it's from Yiboilo. You boy.
Hello. Look, Derek Henry's must start. Yes, I agree. Even in a PPR. Derek Henry, 17 carries, then 33 carries. I've been calling him the Tennessee. He's getting 50 carries. Yeah, I mean. Where do you have Amari Cooper right now? Let's give some context. So right now I have Amari Cooper in a great matchup.
at home, and this is basically... Against the Buccaneers. This is basically in a standard format as wide receiver 7. I've met 10. And I've got Derek Henry as the running back 8. So there, I mean, this is a good conversation that you could go either way, but I guess the way that I see it is you look floor and you look upside, right? The upside of both is equal. Would you agree with that? Amara Cooper.
Uh, yeah. I mean, literally both sides the penthouse. I mean, you can't, you cannot get higher than Amar Cooper's upside. Derek Henry is knocking on that door considering that he just against, you know, I mean, look, a couple weeks ago, he had 238 yards and four touchdowns. Fair, but I would not ever consider the ceiling for someone to be numbers that egregious. I know it happened. Sure. But you're not like, yeah, this week. Uh,
I got Henry standing out for about 225 and four. No, all right. I'll cede you that. Whose floor is lower? On the season, Derek Henry had a terrible floor, four points, seven points, six points. But the question to me is simply is you got to throw all that crap out. Is this the future for Derek Henry? Him getting 20 carries a game. There is no.
chance that Derek Henry, barring injury, does not get 20 carries in this game against Washington with their poor offense that's not going to be able to force them to throw the ball. No, I think Derek Henry is a workhorse. So I'm going to lean Derek Henry here. All right. This one's off of Twitter from Sir Rick Diculous. Oh, I love it. I have to start too, Jason. I, okay, he's in.
He didn't. And who's that? Who else? Because I mean, Jason's locked and loaded. But it's Jason Campbell. Oh, he's out. All right. Start two. Corey Davis. Josh Reynolds, Cortland Sutton. I am the underdog. You think? Sorry. That was a little rude, but you just said you had to start.
