They were immediately better, and they almost caught up to the Green Bay Packers. It was a game with the last couple minutes left. I know that part of that was Jalen Rager with a huge punt return, but that's all part of it, man. The spark of a team feeling like they can actually win again, it changes everything. I have no doubt he'll be the starter for the next game. Oh, you do? Hertz. I think Hertz will be the starter. I mean, he should be. That defense is good.

14:20 ↗

good. They're not like an okay defense. Their defense is good. They just have seemed bad because when the offense keeps turning the ball over so much and you put your defense on the field at all times and in bad positions, you end up giving up a lot of points. But I think if you had a quarterback that could move the ball, the Eagles are not a bad team. Yeah. And to Mike's point, everything on offense was terrible for the Eagles for weeks. This is, if you're wearing a pair of pants, it's just,

14:48 ↗

covered in holes and it's disgusting. And you just have to put on any regular pair of pants. You're like, oh. And it's like, man, this is nice. Check out these slacks. Uh, all right. Look, the Giants are leading the division at five and seven. The eagles are three and eight. They are not, they are not buried yet. No. Do you guys think they go back to wins? I, I have no idea, man. I think because of what you said, the success they had over the second half, and it will.

15:18 ↗

It will make Jalen Hertz interesting. He is a mobile quarterback. Oh, for fantasy? For fantasy, it will make him very interesting. Extremely. For Jason's champ champ team and dining. Oh, yeah, baby. So let's talk some studs. This week's fantasy stud muffins. Oh, Derek Carr. Oh, how's it feel, Andy? Andy is locking his mouth shut. Kudos to Andy. That was his start of the week.

15:52 ↗

Last week. And Derek Carr went hamburger. You could see, and this is what he... Oh, he's eating burgers all over the field. Burgers everywhere. It's not fair. I mean... Send in the car. No, no, no, no, no. No. Oh, that was fantastic. Well played, owl. It is deserved, man. 380 passing yards. Three passing touchdowns. Greg Williams. He had a rushing touch. Oh, Greg Williams.

16:19 ↗

Do not get me started on Greg Williams. I know. There's nobody, Mike dislikes more. I will tilt off the planet if we start talking about Greg Williams. Derek Carr, we know we said it last week on paper. This is the problem with fantasy football is we felt like we could not fully endorse it, but you knew he was going to have a good game. He's playing against the Jets. You knew he was going to have a good game. He should have had an okay game. He should have had 302 because that last play.

16:47 ↗

Oh, it should never have happened. But Greg Williams, the defensive coordinator for the Jets. That was the... Also, almost upset of the week. Excellent pick, Andy. Thank you, Mike. You should pick them for me more often. No, I mean, on paper, we said it. The problem was going to be, did you have the guts to lose with Derek Carr twice in a row? Nobody had that. Now, the Raiders barely have that. There were people that lost with Derek Carr last week and lost...

17:16 ↗

to Derek car this week because whoever signed him didn't experience last week. Oh, man. And that is, that is standing with a wide stance for that kick. I mean, you are just, your legs are. You got both of them. That is the car running over you forwards and backwards. Yeah. Baker Mayfield played his one of the most impressive games in his young career, 25 for 33, 334 and 4. Almost all in the first half.

17:42 ↗

That was the franchise record points scored for the Browns and a half, the first half of that game. Browns are 9 and 3. Their playoff chances sit at 97% to break an 18-year run. Baker is maddening because this is who he can be. We saw glimpses of this in his rookie season, and then the second year was just so terrible that it was, like, talking about like Derek Cartes. It's hard to re-endorse somebody who has.

18:11 ↗

just hurt you over and over and over. But when Baker has confidence and things are clicking, he can be an excellent quarterback. He has a momentum quarterback too. Yes, very much. And since I'm feeling benevolent to two division titles today, I'm going to give Jason a lot of credit because he's brought up the fact that Baker's potential was muddied literally by three rainy games where you didn't get to see there was no possible upside in those games. So we didn't get to see.

18:40 ↗

Baker's upside, even in a good matchup because of the rain and the weather. And here was an opportunity against a really bad defense in Tennessee, and he took full advantage. Yeah, Tennessee's defense stinks. They're somewhat a target the rest of the way through the playoffs. Ryan Tannahill ended up in the same game, 389 and 3.389 and 3. Jason started the week there against Cleveland. So a huge, huge week for Tana Hill, Jacksonville, Detroit.

19:08 ↗

Green Bay the next three weeks for Tana Hill. Matthew Stafford had a nice week, 402 and 3. Always, you know, he's like a likable Derek Carr, where when you lean on him, he might not perform for you, but you kind of give him more of the benefit of the doubt than Derek Carr. Well, we'll say this. The nice thing about Stafford is that this came at a time when they released the head coach, the defensive-minded map.

19:35 ↗

Patricia. And, you know, we saw this kind of happen with Deshaun Watson. They released him. Yes, we back into the wild. Go on there, buddy. We saw it happen with Deshaun Watson, where he was kind of mediocre for fantasy purposes. They really weren't letting him go hog wild until Bill O'Brien got out of the way. And they said, oh, he's our best player. Let's just let him, let's let him help us win game. So hopefully this is the beginning of a trend for Stafford. Happy to report our editor-in-chief, extraordinary Kyle, the Borgogan.

20:05 ↗

Now understands the sin in the car drop, by the way. Oh, yeah, that's true. Because he saw Diehard for the first time in his life. Which is, it makes no sense. You should be seeing that annually. Yes. Yeah. Yes. All right. Jared Goff. No. Announcing. Took care of the Arizona Cardinals. Introducing. Introducing. Jared. Yeah, the Cardinals. They're a nice matchup.

20:34 ↗

Yeah. 79% of his passes were complete. Tassum Hill, nice fantasy day as well. Aaron Rogers, as usual. Kirk Cousins, we talked about it earlier. Kirk Cousins is fully on fire right now. When you can throw the ball to two players that are always open in Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen, the sky is the limit.

20:58 ↗

And they're in the playoff picture right now. Yeah, but what about the fantasy playoff picture of Tampa Bay, Chicago, and New Orleans? Not as good. I mean, we thank you for your service for my fantasy team, Kirk. Go into the wild. Yes, I would be playing someone else. Yeah, that seems true. Although, Tampa, I know, is pretty vulnerable to opposing fantasy wide receivers. So at least Jefferson and Thielen, I doubt they're leaving your lineup anyways. It's one of those weeks for Cam Newton.

21:28 ↗

Guys, guys, he passed for 69 yards. Oh, nice. And it looked like... How does this happen? So he scored twice on the ground. I would be... When you play Cam Newton, just you're playing him hoping for a goal and carry. Kim Newton has thrown under 100 passing yards three times. Two straight weeks. Yes, that's...

21:56 ↗

Two straight weeks. And two straight weeks. They won 45 to zero. Yeah. He's a weird team. He's a quarter of a quarterback. He's throwing for very few yards running the football into the end zone. And there you go. Damien Harris didn't get that goal in carry, unfortunately. Nope. All right. We have some running back studs to talk about. But before we do that, very excited to tell you about today's sponsor. We're talking about Fight Camp.

25:15 ↗

You remember when he used to wear his grill every day? Yeah? Yeah, I do. We were intimidated. We had to ask him to. Oh, it's so sparkly. I mean, it was blinding. That thing's like $250,000, Brooks. It's really over the top. Yeah, keep it safe. Now I keep it at home. Yeah, give it at home. That's just for the fiancé. It's just, it's in a bowl right by the front door. So every time he walks in, he just puts it in right back. This is my home grill, not my work grill. That's right. Thank you, Brooks.

25:45 ↗

Running back studs David Montgomery. Oh, baby. Yeah, 17 for 72, two touchdowns. And he even gave up a goal line touchdown to court Daryl. He did. And his fantasy playoffs look mighty nice, especially week one against Houston next week. Start your David Montgomery moving forward. I think that last week we probably had no more frequent question than Player X versus David Montgomery. And nice to see him perform.

26:15 ↗

in a big way. He has the seventh most running back receptions. Like the, we weren't sure back in the day when Tariq Cohen, I mean, that feels like a thousand years ago, but Tariq Cohen, unfortunately, went down with the injury. You could, you would think that Montgomery would see more passing work, but it has come to fruition and it has really helped make him safe. And now we have some upside with these matchups. Yep, absolutely.

26:40 ↗

Aaron Jones, huge week. Finally saw another monster Aaron Jones week with that crazy long run. It was one play. How long was that touchdown? 70-something yards. And he was 15 for 130 with a touchdown. Yeah, but he's got the talent to do it. And if you watch that play, it was, you know, shades of beast quake. Not as cool, but just had 18 players. And there's only 11 on the field. He broke 18 tackles somehow. It was really crazy.

27:09 ↗

He missed two games due to injury this year. But if you look at his consistency charts over at Join the Foot, he's not been outside the top 24 any week. I mean, despite any fears or worries about Jamal Williams, the last two weeks or three weeks, he's got two tops and finishes. So this is just. Yeah, you whine when you see Jamal Williams on the field. And then you cry when that takes the work away. And you're like, oh, man, he's running back 20. He doesn't.

27:37 ↗

hurt you. He just doesn't always have the monster game. He had it this week, though. But that was unlike last year. Last year's number two overall finish might have actually been less helpful to your team than this year's performance. He's the only running back inside the top 24 every week that he's played. All right, Jonathan Taylor. Let's work through Jonathan Taylor. He ended up 13 for 91 in this game. Three targets. That's where he scored his touchdown. Halfway through the game, he had three carries.
