I would rather start Marquess. I would also rather start Traiquon Smith. Those two, this last waiver wire show, I said this is like the week of the rookie wide receiver, DJ Moore, Treyquan Smith, and Marquez, Valde Scantling. I think they're all going to be very good plays. That's good because I just picked him up. Selfish. Hey, is it Aaron Jones time? Yes. Aaron Jones last week dominated the carries. Yes.

124 passagesHe's our consensus RB20. What is Jason bringing him down? Well, I have the mental picture of like, you know, he's ready to take off for the race, right? Like he's in an Olympic race. But he's got this guy who's lassoed him and is holding on for dear life to not let him run. And I feel like Jason's the one that doesn't want to go to the rope. Right now, Jason is full and the pen is blue. The pen is...
He has Jim Carrey in Liar Liar, and after this weekend, he will have the pen is red written all over his body. I hope so. The funny thing is, like, I don't blame Jason for the delay. Like, it's appropriate, because it's actually been the measured response to this. Like, we all know Aaron Jones is good, but if he doesn't- Throw measurements out the window. It doesn't matter how good. It's time to be free.
Well, look, here's the super stat that our research team put in for us on this one. By the way, Aaron Jones, 61% of the snaps last week. Here's the super stat that was written in. Good research. Jamal Williams is a jag. He's no good. And if you don't know what that means, it's just a guy. Yeah, that was some deep, deep level stuff there. Yeah. Unfortunately, it's very true. However, just because you're a jag for fantasy owners.
Does not mean you're not on the field. If the coach loves you. If the Patriots get out to a big lead, as they may do with the line like this, and Aaron Rogers is throwing the ball.
There are going to be a number of past protection snaps for Jamal Williams. Now, that does not make him viable. They were also down in the game against the Rams. And it was still Aaron Jones. It was both. It was both because here's what the Packers do. And this is why I've been hesitant to get on Aaron Jones on the train full bore. I like him. He's the best player on that team. But I'm telling you right now, they're both going. 25% of the snaps for Jamal Williams. What the Packers do is they give.
different drives to different running backs. That's usually what they've been doing in the last like two, three years. So. Yeah, but the 25% just disproves. Well, but Time Montgomery was there. I mean, I'm saying both of these guys, what was Time Montgomery? Yeah, but it was 61% and 25%. So there ain't much left that Time Montgomery would have had. Well, the, that's 86% of the snap. Time Montgomery was. But you can have more than one running back. Jason, 11.5. Yeah.
So anyway, it's Aaron Jones time, man. Let's go. I hope so. Jimmy Graham, New England's allowed the most touchdowns of the tight end position. That's what you need from Jimmy right now. You need the touchdown. We know we're starting Brady. We know we're starting Rogers. We know we're starting Adams. I love Julian Edelman this week. He's my start of the week. What do we have with Josh Gordon? Is it fair for fantasy owners to expect his...
Wide receiver two range projections to change over the course of the rest of the season, or is this where he should be? It's where he should be. We've seen Brady. He's taking the shots going deep. They just haven't come through since where Josh Gordon had that beast touchdown catch in double coverage. Two weeks ago, and this past week where he had a step on White.
They just missed the connection for a really big play. So I believe that the big plays are coming. Josh Gordon, all that hullabaloo about him being punished for being tardy and he was going to miss some time. That went in the dumpster. For now. Yeah. I'll say it is the Patriots. So maybe they just delayed the punishment. They do weird stuff up in New England. But Josh Gordon is still a low end wide receiver tube with monster upside every single week.
Before we talk Monday night football, what do you expect from the backfield in New England? Is Sonny Michelle going to be on a pitch count if he's active? Like, do you start him no matter what? Or is this, are you weighing other options? Not me. If Sony plays, I will play him. What if you had Sony and Philip Lindsay to decide between? I would go Philip Lindsay. Because I would start Lindsay over Michelle regardless this week. Okay.
All right, on Monday night football, the three and four Titans take on the three and four cowboys. Cowboys are six point favorites. Wow. Oh. And he's almost upset of the week. You don't the Amari Cooper bump to the Vegas line? I guess. The storyline for this game for me is how sad Monday night football is that they don't have the ability to flex games in. Oh. Like Sunday night did with.
with this matchup we get. I mean, it wasn't flexed, but like they can't pivot out of Titans Cowboys. Well, yeah, 41 point over under, you wish they could. I don't see the Cowboys. They might win the game. They're not winning by seven. I'll either win them by seven points. I don't think so either. And look, the Titans' defense has been pretty good this year. I'm the lowest on Zeke this week. I actually have an RB7, despite averaging 22 touches per game. I think it's just the low scoring.
aspect of this game. It's not going to be something that's, I don't think it's going to be high flying. I would say that the game ends around the 40 point mark between the two teams. So what are we expecting here? Who do you have confidence in starting? These are two teams that have been very difficult to talk about for fantasy owners all season long because outside of Zeke, I mean, there's question marks. That's the end of the list. That's it. That's all you can count on. You're not ready for Cooper time? No, no, I'm not. I would rather start Traiquan Smith or Marquez Valdez Scantling over.
umari cooper in this matchup that's not to say you can't start cooper um but i i think you probably shouldn't i mean we don't know how involved he is how up to speed he is on everything he came in a great time for their by week gets basically an extra week of practice but you know i'm not excited there there are pieces you can start but outside of zeke i mean you can start derrick henry or dion lewis but the matchup it's not great Dallas is
Their defense has been pretty legit. The matchup wasn't great the past time we saw the Titans, and Dionne Lewis finally got it going. That is true. And so did Derek Kennedy. I mean, you can start them. I'm just not excited to start anyone. Nobody in this game is a must start other than Zeke. Yeah, and with Zeke, my tempered expectations also are borne out of the lack of Zach Martin. Their offensive guard, we do have a practice report that he will be involved in some individual drills. They're going to evaluate him.
and see where that goes. So his, you know, activity, that's going to matter. Amari Cooper makes his debut. He's our consensus wide receiver 37, and that's all there is to it. Yep. Corey Davis, is he rosterable? Yeah. Oh, man. Wide receiver 45 or worse in every game except one. You're going to keep holding? Yeah, I mean, I think he's rosterable. I'm not, you know, again, I don't think he's a guy that you need to start, but.
Yeah, he's rosterable. He is the clear cut wide receiver one for an NFL franchise. And if they're often starts clicking and gets it together, then I want that on my team. Sure. It's a big if. But I mean, guys like Valdez scantling and I drop Corey Davis two weeks ago and I have no regrets. Yeah. And someone picked him up and they're just like, yeah, cool. Cory Davis is on my team. And it's really unfortunate because when you say clear cut number one, I'm not even sure. It's like a team that doesn't have a one.
Because they don't target anybody at an immense... I mean, look, Tadj Sharp. Right. Led the team by a lot last game. And that was random. So... And Corey Davis should... He won't be... I'm just disappointed. He will not be shadowed because Dallas doesn't do that, but Corey Davis should see plenty of Byron Jones, Dallas, Cowboys, Cornerbag. He's been great. Yeah, you should... If you're trying to play Corey Davis, you should not be excited by that news.
Also, Mohammed Tanoo returned to practice today. Is there anything else you want to touch on from that Monday night game? Please no. Yeah, we won't make you do that anymore. The Daily Dose. Brought to you by Draft. Every Friday we jump into the Daily Dose. We do a one-on-one-on-one draft right here, live on the show. I won last week, Jason? You did. Thank you. You beat me by a couple points. Thanks. Great.
On the next week, man, just like streaming Derek Carr. Okay, you're a little beat up. Sometimes the peach has a bruise on it. Oh, gosh. You've been bruised in this matchup all year long. Sometimes all your fruit has bruises on it and you got to push through. Need a whole new crate of fruit. What are we doing this week? We're sticking with the quarterback draft. It's fun. There's really not many other chances you get to have your pick of just...
going with one position. So I really like to go with the quarterbacks on this one. All right. Jason's got the first pick in this draft. We'll kick it off here. Five players per team. Quarterback draft. Make the wrong pick, Jay. Oh. Look, I'm going to need a drop here. Yeah. Because I'm scooting, scooting. I'm scooting all over with the number one pick. I'm scooting.
Oh, that's what I would have done as well with the number one pick. So my consolation prize is Patrick Mahomes. It's a pretty good consolation price. My apologies, Andy, for having the third pick. Yeah, I, you know, I'm going to go with the Sunday night matchup. I'm going to take Brady and Rogers. Oh, I love. Oh, I'm jealous. Yeah. That was a good move. I was mocking you for your consolation prize, but I would have taken Mahomes first. Great. For what that's worth. But, um.
Mike is back on the clock. Jason with a couple picks following him. I got the decision between Drew Breeze in that monster matchup or things that are magical. But I'm going to stick with Drew Breeze. Well, since you went Drew Breeze, I know you were debating about him or Fitzmagic. I'm not going that route. I'm actually going to take a couple guys a little bit lower in the consensus list that I like in Kirk Cousins and Jared.
Goss. Jared Garf. Mike, you get your chance at Vince Madrick. Yeah, I was, I threw the name out because I was trying to throw Jason off of the scent because I'm taking his start of the week, Russell Wilson. Yeah, I'm staring down names that I love like Big Ben, Matt Ryan, Deshawn Watson, but matchups I don't love, Baltimore, Washington, Denver.
Man, I'm actually going to pivot. I'm going to surprise you. I'm going to take Matthew Stafford. Wow. Against Minnesota. And I'm going to go back to back there. Yeah, I like the Matt Ryan pick there. There's a guy I'm hoping. Oh, I know he'll get to me now. Will he? Yeah, because it's only you and you don't want him. No, that's very true. So I'm going to take the magic man. I'm surprised you didn't take Alex Smith there, Mike. Oh, Ryan Fitzpatrick's higher in my rankings and he doesn't have magic.
Hmm, no magic. I didn't think about them. Like I said, desperation stream for me. And if Ryan Fitzpatrick was on the waiver wire. I wish Mullins was here, man. That would be great. Jason looks like he went. Did someone take Matt Ryan? Yes. Where have you been? I missed that. I'm sitting here looking for. When Andy was like, I'm going to take Matt Ryan. Yeah, that was when I took him. Yeah, that's a good time. You went Watson and Rivers. I did. Deshawn Watson was the guy that I was hoping got back to me. Did get back to me. Rivers was much more of a tilt pick.
And now I will take that giant scoop of vanilla ice cream in Alex Smith. Delicious. Would you finish out the draft with you? All right. I started with the first pick, have Cam Newton, Jared Goff, Kirk Cousins, Deshawn Watson, and Philip Rivers. I got Patrick Mahomes, Breeze, Russell Wilson, Fitzmagic, and Alex Smith.
Brady, Roger, Stafford, Ryan, Rothlessberger. We'll see how this turns out. The only thing I know each and every week is that Mike will finish last. Yeah, that's really the only. There are only a few things. Death, taxes and that. That's it. That's all there are. That's all you need to know. Well, we'll be back on Monday. I can't argue. It's not been a good show. He's got nothing to say. Don't forget. We'll be back Monday. Michael be on the live stream Sunday morning. If you keep your eyes out on YouTube.
