Andy hides the missing tooth in Mike's seat

Andy swaps seats with Mike because a knocked-out prominent tooth faces his normal YouTube angle. The desk says the gap would make any analytical argument impossible to take seriously, compares him with a worse Mater, brainstorms straw, spaghetti, rinse-water, and pool-fountain tricks, and notes his son's nonstop mock lisp. Jason's refusal to look toward the new angle carries the gag into the fantasy segment.

moment

Deucer Cam prices a year of Papa Josh's skullet

The hosts catch Al Borland apparently conniving to bribe his way onto a solo camera, then rank Papa Josh as cheaper than Al and explain that many wild lunch ideas end with asking Josh his price. Deucer Cam displays Josh's bald head while they consider paying him to grow the sides into a skullet for a year, an embarrassment he would accept for a shockingly low number.

moment

Jason rejects Jerry Jeudy in the seventeenth

Jason says no to Jerry Jeudy in the twelfth round, refuses the hypothetical seventeenth-round discount too, and answers yes when asked whether he is simply mad. The hosts recall that he loved Jeudy; Jason answers that he does not now.

moment

The two-Pack Pop-Tart protocol

A stray 'tarts' sound produces a full Pop-Tart ranking: brown sugar is treated as the consensus number one over strawberry, blueberry, and s'mores. One host's pro move is to open a two-pack, toast one, and eat the other immediately; another insists the toasted tart must be buttered, dismisses the calorie count, and rejects buttering donuts because they are fried.

moment

Kyle makes Allen Robinson a Giant and huge

When the hosts wonder whether Allen Robinson is on a roster, they ask Kyle, who appears to answer that Robinson is a Giant. The desk immediately hears the team name as a size claim, protests, then upgrades Robinson to huge before agreeing the Giants are exactly the kind of roster he could make.

moment

Trependous becomes the Zach Moss trapendous

A stumble while calling Zach Moss a tremendous pass blocker produces 'trependous.' The hosts admire and try to define the new word as triply good, then mutate it into 'trapendous' when describing Moss as a tempting but relatively harmless ninth-round trap hidden under leaves.

summary

Episode notes

Andy opens from Mike's seat because one of his prominent teeth has broken off, leaving Mike in Andy's chair and Jason conspicuously avoiding the new sightline. The tooth gap ruins Andy's imagined analytical authority, earns a worse-than-Mater comparison, lets him drink through a straw with his mouth closed, and gives his son material for a constant mock lisp. In Deucer's Alley, Al Borland appears to connive toward a bribed solo camera; the hosts call Papa Josh the cheapest person they know, Al the second-cheapest, and explain that Josh can be hired to embarrass himself for shockingly little. Deucer Cam then displays Josh's bald head while the room considers paying him to grow a skullet for a year. Jason rejects Jerry Jeudy in both the twelfth and hypothetical seventeenth round solely because he is mad at a player he once loved. A Pop-Tart tangent establishes brown sugar as the consensus favorite, one host's two-pack strategy of eating one immediately and toasting the other, and the instruction to butter the toasted tart but never a fried donut. Kyle is pulled into an Allen Robinson roster check that turns 'a Giant' into 'huge.' The AFC North analysis also gives a passing Gus Bus callback before a verbal stumble on 'tremendous' becomes 'trependous' and then the Zach Moss draft-risk label 'trapendous.'

the true profile of Zach Moss, there is so many things that say this should work. If he gets, if he gets 60 plus percent or whatever of the work for the Bengals, it should work absolutely no problem. And yet historically, you're talking about this would be, this would be an unmanned territory. Yeah, complete outlier. We have not seen it happen. So I am just like, I don't, I don't know what to do with Zach Moss. I think I'm in. I'm pretty sure I'm in, but it's hard. See, that's what trap endus is. He's a trap. He's a trap. That is a trap endus. That's interesting, though. I mean, that he'd have to be an outlier to deliver in what seems to be laying in front of him, which is why I've been more bullish on Chase Brown and moved him up in recent weeks. Yeah, the thing about the trap of drafting Zach Moss is that sometimes, you know, you got those leaves laid over that, you know, eight foot hole and you're going to be stuck. This is like you might roll your ankle.

There's like a ditch and they put leaves over it. It's a ninth round pick. It's like, oh, dang it. I fell in the trap. Now I'm walking out because it's like, whatever, you just cut him and move on. That's fair. You're not having to spin up on Zach Moss. Ninth round. So he is so wild. I mean, that'd be wild if the starting running back from a 10 and a half projected Bengals team is not in the top eight rounds. That's just. Yeah. That would be wild if come August, that's the case. I'd be shocked if that was the case. And Chase Brown is in the 11th round, so he's, you know, even more free. If you want to take the shot there, I am taking the shot on Zach Moss because I think transactionally what the team has done, what they're paying for Zach Moss. You know, they had the opportunity to use Chase Brown last year. They didn't, but they had mix. And I also scheme-wise, scheme fit, running from shotgun.

59:00 ↗

Zach Moss fits the Bengals really, really well. So I'm going to bet on the Zach Moss side. My guy. My guy I've always loved him since the day he was born. Man did I love him in college? So fast. Yeah, you always thought he was speedy. And just a quick, Jason, you mentioned T. Higgins is being undervalued. I agree. I am one of those many out there who feels personally victimized by what T. Higgins has done the last couple of years. But if, if. He were somehow to, if he played 16 games. Out of 17? Out of 17? He would. I'm saying like, I'm not even giving him full season. I know you have to aim high with him. Just give him 16 games. He'll end up being a tremendous value. All right. Well, it's July, it's July 9th. So we should probably just rank our division and talk about who wins it. I'm taking the exact same order as last year. I think it's Baltimore, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati.

59:56 ↗

I am taking Baltimore to win it, but I've got Sensi 2nd, Cleveland, 3rd, and the Pittsburgh Steelers 4th. I think that's how I lean to with Jason. Did you see the, did we mention the Steelers opening schedule? I don't think we mentioned it. It is on the road for an Atlanta revenge game. Yeah, they're 4-0. I looked at it. And then it is a road matchup. It is a revenge game with the Denver Broncos. Then it's the Chargers. And then it's the Colts. It charges at home. Yeah, no, I looked at it. The Steelers starting the season four, no, I know, I know. Seems that's just. It's not impossible. Pretty good odds. It's not impossible. Meanwhile, everybody else is opening schedule stinks. All right. That is going to do it for today's divisional matchup show. A reminder, ultimate draft kit.com. If you want to get into the UDK or the UDKK plus right now.
