moment

YouTube inserts an ad every three minutes

YouTube overrides the show's ten-year two-break structure and places automated ads about every three minutes across more than half of August, including one that cuts Mike off in the middle of his Ken Walker MVP pitch.

moment

Five jerseys apologize for the ad disaster

The hosts promise five random YouTube commenters any favorite player jersey, briefly limiting the deal to discounted Cardinals jerseys before insisting the show is not desperate enough for cash to run constant ads.

moment

Al celebrates Micah Parsons by drafting him in fantasy

Jeremy is introduced as excited Packers fan Al Borland, answers the Micah Parsons trade with 'you're darn right,' then searches for and drafts the defender in an offensive mock after begging for IDP settings.

moment

Even passing on Ken Walker cannot stop Mike's Ken Walker speech

Mike says he loves Ken Walker even while selecting James Cook, explicitly returning to the fixation after YouTube had already interrupted his MVP pitch.

moment

Jason knows the ceiling for 3,000-thread-count sheets

A James Cook comfort joke becomes a sheet-quality investigation: the hosts assume Jason would know the maximum, settle on 3,000 threads, and imagine a sleeper slowly sliding off the bed.

moment

The staff fills the final mock-draft room

The full-screen twelve-seat Sleeper board establishes the staff mock, while dialogue identifies Brooks, Producer Borland, Falcon, Matthew Betz, and Kyle through their picks and reactions; the staff themselves remain off camera.

moment

Betz beats Kyle to Dion Lewis

The hosts expect Kyle to remember Derrick Henry's tiny former Titans backfield partner, but Betz supplies Dion Lewis first and is declared the winner.

moment

Mike reads Kyle's board and steals Dak

Mike predicts that Kyle wants Dak Prescott, takes Dak first, and reports Kyle's entire confirmation as 'shove it, Mike'; later Kyle drafts Kyler Murray before Andy can use the stack.

moment

Al's frozen computer is blamed on adding more ads

When Al's computer freezes during the mock, the hosts instantly accuse him of adding ads to the show, converting the opening production disaster into a same-episode callback.

summary

Episode notes

Andy, Jason, and Mike open by confessing that YouTube had overridden their two deliberately placed ad breaks and injected ads roughly every three minutes into more than half of August's episodes. One interruption lands in the middle of Mike's fantasy-MVP Ken Walker pitch, prompting the verdict that even YouTube wants him to stop. Jeremy 'Al Borland' Grantham did the overnight legwork to repair the episodes; the hosts apologize, insist they are not that desperate for cash, and promise jerseys to five randomly selected commenters. Al then erupts over Micah Parsons joining his Packers, answers 'you're darn right,' and carries that fandom into the staff mock by drafting Parsons in the third round of an offensive fantasy draft, continuing to search for him later, and freezing his computer in a way the hosts blame on adding more ads. The twelve-person final mock includes Brooks, Al, Matthew Betz, Falcon, and Kyle. Brooks regrets missing JSN and is left feeling merely hopeful about Tyreek Hill. Mike's Ken Bone Walker attachment returns, but he takes James Cook. A 3,000-thread-count sheet riff makes Jason the supposed bedding authority and imagines sleepers sliding off impossibly smooth beds. Matthew Betz wins a live Dion Lewis memory race over Kyle. Matt 'Falcon' Pingrey drafts Devonta Smith rather than the running back Jason expected. Mike anticipates and steals Dak Prescott from Kyle; Kyle's response is reported as 'shove it, Mike,' and Kyle later takes Kyler Murray before Andy can stack him with Marvin Harrison. An unidentified, aggressively loud sound effect near the end is said to scratch the brain even after being reduced by 25 percent. Complete published-video review alternates the ordinary three-host desk with a full-screen twelve-seat Sleeper board; none of the staff drafters appears on camera, and none of the imagined ad machinery, apology jerseys, bedding, or Micah Parsons props is shown. Jay Griz is not named or established as present; isolated 'Jay' sounds are ordinary address/ASR context and are not counted.

Henry A. Chan, Giovante, and Ollie Gordon at running back, Harrison, McLaren, Adams, Dunzee, and Cup at wide receiver. Jordan Love, Sam Laporta are the onesies. I've got onesies of Lamar Jackson and George Kittle, Pooka, Nico Collins, Debo, Samuel, Keenan Allen, and Jaden Higgins at wide receiver. And then my running backs are Tony Pollard, Caleb Johnson, Austin Echler, and Trey Benson. I have it. Running back. I got Gibbs. James Cook, Brees Hall, Tank Bigsby. My wide receivers are A.J. Brown, Ted McMillan, Emeka, Bucca, Jerry, Judy, and Luther Burden. Then I got Dak and his tight end, Jake Tert Ferguson. Who, you ended up with the last pick in the draft. Final thoughts you guys have on the way the draft ended up. I think that this is, it's hard to draft from the 12 spot. You've got to make sure that you're staying.

open to who's on the board. And this was a good group of drafters. So I think it was difficult, but I'm happy how it turned out. I'll just have to scour the waiver wire for the running back, you know, diamonds in the rough. Gainwell's still out there, I think. Sure, yeah. No show. No show on Monday. We have Labor Day off. And then we'll be getting into the first week of the fantasy football season, all of the shows. Yeah, this was the last moment. This was the last. Did you forget? Well, I didn't realize that our next show, we are talking about week one football. We are talking about week one football. Now, we will have one extra episode hitting YouTube. Our final special August miniseries episode, Just the Tips, we'll release on Saturday morning. I believe Jason will be taking a peek at some late round steals at the wide receiver position. Yeah, yeah.
