to the fantasy footballers podcast with your host, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright. Oh, welcome in Wednesday, October 14th, the fantasy footballers podcast. Jason Moore is here. Mike, the fantasy hit man. I'm Andy Holloway. Have we ever considered... You know, so in college football, the U. Yeah.

0:46 ↗

Like we all know that that is. It's Miami. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Have we ever considered just being like the pod? The pod? I like it. I don't know, man. There's nothing distinguishable there. Yeah. The pod? So we're just the podcast. I don't know. Look, we are also the fantasy full bars, but we're the podcast. But we make a move. The F. I think just the podcast. We're the podcast. Are we the podcast? You can do it either way. I think is Ohio State is the.

1:18 ↗

Yep. College boy. It's always the... He's so quiet. The magnificent deucers today. Al Borland and the Falcon in the back. And we got a great show for you. We got a fantasy draft redo on today's episode. Josh was so good at being the executive that we let him go. NFL news to cover Thursday and I break down your questions in the mailbag as well. And the community, the magnificent community, since that's the word of the day. The word of the day.

1:46 ↗

is over at join thefoot.com, the foot clan, access to the ultimate dashboard, extra episodes, premium tools all year long, the place to be. Check it out. Jointhefoot.com. The website is the fantasy footballers.com as well. The website. It is the website. Yeah. Are Megalobole top five right now if you're playing in the Megalibole? I'm realizing it might be bad for branding, but it would be pretty cool. Yeah.

2:14 ↗

Show me your touchdowns is first place. Pretty strange flowers in second. Spanko. Well. Andy was not sure if he was going to read that one. And then Mike's like, Spanko. But it's also 3-2. Spanko 3-2. Spanko 3-2. There's a lot of them. Southern Boy, 2003 and fourth place. And what's the last one there? Bergforged.

2:38 ↗

Berg forged. So there you go. By the way, the records of those forged. I looked up my ranking because I've got two teams in the Megalobole. I'm 8 and 10 and 0. And I'm like, I wonder where my 10 and 0 team. You cheater with two teams. Well, no, people, people are allowed if there are. There's a way. You orphaned. I know. Yeah, I got, I inherited an orphan team. But I looked up my undefeated 10 and 0 team that is scoring a cajillion points every week. I am in the top.

3:04 ↗

1,000, barely. I'm like 900. Yeah, the most points is 832, and that team is 9 and 1. So it doesn't, you know, your record is not the only thing that matters there? I'm curious, is your 10 and 0 team the team you drafted or the team that's orphaned? I believe that's the team I drafted. It's ironic because the team I orphaned and the team I drafted, they're like so, it's crazy similar. I have like all the same core players. Yeah, it'll be a good time. We'll see who breaks through and wins the Megalobol this year. By the way.

3:34 ↗

By the way, you remember I was feeling really good yesterday? Yeah. I was like, I reclaimed. I was like I kind of... You're riding the high of the hole in one. I recovered fine. Turns out, turns out that's kind of a delayed soreness thing that happens. Well, that makes sense. Delayed onset muscle soreness, doms, right? When? Oh, those doms. You know, it's a true fact. Yeah. I mean, what you've never done?

3:59 ↗

You never hit leg day and you're like, I'm okay. It's always two days. You're like, I can't sit on the toilet. Yeah, but I'm, you know, go ahead. Andy's search history is just riddled with doms and rabdomiosis right now. I might have gone to bed at like 630 last night. Hey, good for you. And everything hurts. All right, into the news we go. News and notes from around the league.

4:25 ↗

Lamar Jackson has a realistic chance to return to action on Sunday against the Brown's Mike. Please, Lamar. As is a Zay Flowers manager. Oh, please, Lamar. That would be nice. Jacoby Lane, expected to return to practice and has a shot to play on Sunday as well, which will help Lamar at some point here. Rahim Sanders, the Browns running back, who maybe had an opportunity. He's on injured reserve. Yep.

4:48 ↗

So they are getting back Dylan Sampson. Yeah, they brought Adrick Estime. Estime. They stole him from the Vikings practice squad. However, the news this morning was that Dylan Sampson has been designated for return. He will practice today. I would imagine he will be, he will jump to the top of the running back room should. Yep.

5:11 ↗

Judkins missed time. It seems like this is very, very early on the week, but based on the injury and the timeline and all that and the depth chart and the need, I would say he's got a legitimate chance to play this week. Dylan? Yeah. We have a report about DeAndre Swift. He's been bothered by both a hip and knee injury. I believe he had his last snap, eight minutes left in the game, but the bears were already getting whooped.

5:39 ↗

So we're just monitoring DeAndre Swift and Menangai and the running backs for the bears who have been banged up all year long. Dave Canalis said Jalen Coker is on track to play in week six. All right. We like that. That's big news. And then Trey Harris, week to week with the hamstring. That sounds like he's going to be drop to dropped for fantasy teams. And then Zach Charbonnet has a legitimate chance to make a season debut in week seven. He is there to do one thing, ruin Emmanuel Wilson.

6:05 ↗

Yeah. The Seattle running back room is there for one purpose for fantasy football. Pain. Just pain. Nothing but, I mean, walk up to the wall, face to face with that wall, kick your leg back, throw it forward. As hard as you can, that's Seattle running backs. I like that we couldn't get value.

6:25 ↗

when we had Kenneth Walker there. We couldn't get value when we had the first round Judarian Price. We couldn't really even get value from a very good Charbonnet. The only time we get true fantasy value, like great success. It's Emmanuel Wilson. It's like the guy who wasn't even the backup this year to start the year. That's when you get like, you know, Supreme Fantasy goodness. Yeah, that's kind of depressing. All right. We have a fun segment here before we get into the Thursday night breakdown in the mailbag.

6:55 ↗

We're going to, you know, what, we're five weeks in? Yeah, we are going into week six. Also, I'm tired to. I know you were swinging the club, but bro, I went to bed at like nine last night. You got tired from your... We were outside. You did sprint down the entire hill with me. I noticed that my...

7:15 ↗

My whoop picked up an activity. And that was sprinting down. There was a lot of sitting for me on that day, but then all of a sudden I hit some sort of five strain from 9 to 920. We usually golf Wednesday mornings around here. And it was crickets in that channel. Everyone's dead. I'm dead. Also, before we move on, as a reminder, it's an important time of the year for this. But drop it like it's hot. Waivers go through today. Look who has dropped in your league. It's because it is nothing is more infuriating.

7:45 ↗

then tomorrow realized whoa someone picked up wait he was there yeah be aware all right let's uh five weeks into the season let's see what would happen if we drafted today the fantasy footballers mock draft all right we are going to do a little exercise here i mean this is sort of a rest of season ranking situation for trades and things like that a little bit yeah um we're going to draft two rounds worth of players rotating mike jason andy

8:19 ↗

We'll go clockwise here. Mike, you get the first pick. Thank goodness. If fantasy drafts happen today... I don't want to be at that two spot. I do. I do. Let's see what would happen. Because things have changed for a lot of players. Some are right where they belong. Mike, who's your number one pick? Adjimir Gibbs will be... He's from the Detroit Lions. Oh, running back? He does play the running back position. I mean, for all of the chaos that has gone wrong, as it always does,

8:49 ↗

At least the guys at the top are still going to be the top draft picks. I feel like we have this episode a lot and you're like, well, the 102, maybe we draft him in the second round. So I will take Jemir Gibbs. All right. That leaves Jason with the number two overall pick here and our fantasy draft redo. Gibbs goes number one. Yeah, this is where it would usually be Bijon. And I don't mind it. Being Bijon, we had some discussion yesterday.

9:18 ↗

I'm going to give the edge to Kenneth Walker due to having one extra game. I mean, at this point, first of all, he is scoring more fantasy points than Bijon. He's scoring significantly more on a per game basis. And Bejohn's been amazing. But he's also got a guaranteed another game. You don't have to deal with a buy week. And that's good enough tiebreaker for me. The question was basically posed. Would you trade Bejohn for Kenneth Walker straight up now that you're past a buy week? I would. And that's that's.

9:47 ↗

feels crazy, but... Yeah, here we are. I mean, it's not crazy to me. The true believers. Oh, Mr. I don't want the second pick. I don't want to have to say it. Well, I think I'm going to surprise you. I'm not going Bijan at three. Oh. I've seen enough. He seems fine. And the chance that you win a title with him, I think it's higher than Bijan. I'm taking... I'm taking Pooka Nakua.

10:14 ↗

Wow. Whoa. I'm taking Pooka Nukuay 3 because I want to have the conversation. Wow. He's, I get it. I mean, he's. This is where it's extremely high, but, you know, so you have gone now from, you were the by far the most concerned about the pre-hernia. Yeah. Yeah, and I don't. Like that's, he's still going to be pre-hernia. He is always pre-hernia. He is always pre-hernia. He carries a massive risk. Of hernia.

10:42 ↗

Yeah, I mean, I think he's going to be the number one wide receiver rest of the season if he doesn't get hurt. And that's what it comes down to. And I think the difference, it's going to be massive. So you play to win the game. Sure. You know, you're taking the – so I understand that JSN per game has scored more. We haven't seen Puka for more than a couple of games here. But I think that this is the reason Puka was ahead of JSN for me preseason. And 24 targets later, this last game, I'm convinced that –

11:10 ↗

he will be a difference maker of a different degree. So I, like, you're splitting hairs between, I think, him, J.S.N and Bejohn here. And I don't blame anybody whatever order they want to put them in. You have the riskiest player with Puka, but have you seen anything wrong with him in the last two weeks? No. I mean, I don't think you'll, you won't see it. You'll just be gone. But I'm with you. I'm playing to win a championship right now. So.

11:37 ↗

I don't mind that at all. Mike, you'll take Bijan, though. Yeah, you'll go Bijan at number four? Yeah, yeah, yeah. So no thought of J.S.N who's 24 points in. No, no, not compared to Bejohn Robinson, I should say. The superstar three down, Brian Robinson touchdown stealing superstar. So points per game wise right now, just so people understand. Jimere Gibbs is at 28 a game. Ken Walker's at 26. Puckuna Kua has played two games. He's at, or three games. He's at 20.8. J. Sins at 24.

12:05 ↗

So J.S.N is scoring a couple points more per game than Bijon. Bejohn at a tougher spot to find players. So Jason, you are back on the clock with the fifth overall pitch. I'm back on the clock, and it's pretty easy. It's funny because, you know, this is one like we loved JASN, but I had JASN behind Amman Ra and behind the Puka Jamar Chase to start the year. All of them, awesome, wanted all of them. But that would have been my order.

12:34 ↗

because everything went perfect for JSN last year. You know, he had so many receptions and so many yards per receptions, so many touchdowns. The efficiency just was kind of impossible to repeat by emphasis on the kind of because he's repeating it. I would have taken him over Puka. I would have gone Bijon then Puka or Bijon then JSN before Puga. Obviously they're all great at the top, but the question has been answered.

13:02 ↗

You're taking JSN? Yeah, JSN is absolutely outrageously. And the question being, can he repeat it? Can he, you know, is that really all him or was it a magical season? It was all him. At the sixth pick, I'm actually going to pull the trigger on the running back seven right now. It's a tight and close decision between Jonathan Taylor and James Cook for me.

13:27 ↗

as the next best running back on the board. I know Derek Henry's ahead right now. Kyron's ahead. Chuba's ahead. I'm taking Jonathan Taylor at pick six in the draft. I actually think it's a semi-good buy opportunity on Jonathan Taylor. He had a couple of like downish games relative to his standard because we have questioned kind of what is this offense going to be able to do. He was RB 25 this week, 15 for 43, didn't get into the end zone, which is rare. He's a touchdown monster. So I'm going to take
