And I think that'll, and super famous as a football player, which for college kids, that's going to matter. This new paid world of college players. I think that. NIL. Yeah. I think that that's going to, that's going to be good for the Dion Sanders type coaches.
Yeah, and it's going to keep players in college. If you can write them a big check to come back, like, I don't know. No, no, Bejohn, you declare for the draft immediately. Oh, my goodness, after all the drama of this last week, if Bejon Robinson goes back to college, I will spend at least one night crying. Yes, in this week's edition of the Truman Show, my Jason has. The number one pick by a point. This last week, the matchup determined that Jason would, his team isn't bad. He just has the pick of a bad team. And now, and he's been pining for Bijon all year long. And his trade was on the basis that he'd have a shot to draft him. In my mind, I was trading Chris Godwin, a good dynasty asset for Bijon. It wasn't for the one. It wasn't for the one.
for Bison Robinson next year. So he needs to be in the NFL for me to draft him. It's exciting for you, though. You get to, you have the pick. He should come out and play. Do you think, would we allow him to just still draft Bijon? Even if he, if he went back to college? Like a one year red shirt. Just like a little byline in the dynasty rules there. Be like, sure, you can go ahead and draft him if you want. There haven't been a lot of perspective like. top 15 type of picks that have gone back. I mean, I remember Leinert doing it where he would have been the number one overall pick and then ends up. Whoops. Mistakes were made. But it is a different world now where players will get, it'll get thinned out a little bit in terms of who's coming out. But I'm not ready to turn the page yet to college prospects. We have fantasy playoffs at hand. Today we've got the waiver show. There are some.
names to talk about today. At all of the positions, we'll have our quarterback streamers, maybe even more relevant this week because I think there are some really good options. And there are some injuries at the quarterback position, in particular, those of you that will be without Lamar Jackson this upcoming week. And there are six by weeks, including Justin Fields. So at every position, this is the week leading into the playoffs, six teams on by, This gentleman, this might be the most important show we've done this year. And, uh, you know, people following along with the tweets last night. Of course, Mike Evans did not get it done. 7.9 when I needed nine or less than nine, really. Dude. I needed like 0.48 more points. Yeah, it was anything. If he caught a screen pass for no yards, you win. And he had two.
drives at the end of the game in pure passing situations where that was true and he did not get it done. He was a little tired there. He had to come out the field. Yeah. Pass interference on a bomb that was going. Yeah. He was definitely catching it. Definitely. If the defender hadn't pulled his arm down. Yeah, that was cool. That was cool. No, no, no. They won. They're really, really good. I realize they put up 14 points in the fourth quarter after it.

I mean, obviously this isn't a very good division. You're talking about a 500 team leading the way. Two of their recent victories were barely, barely, barely stolen Ws from a game where they were putrid and down the whole game. I mean, three minutes to go. In this matchup last night, it was almost unfathomable that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers could win the game. It took a complete boneheaded decision by Mark Ingram, which he apologized for to even allow the... What was to come back in the game? No, when he ran out of bounds on an easy first down and then they didn't get the third. Because he was hurt. Like he should not have been back in the game. Well, I mean...
He was also, he ran out. All he had to do is run out of bounds a yard further. Right. Or, uh, that's why he apologized. Reach the ball out. Right. But I'm saying like, there was no one near him. Yeah. But to me, the way I looked at the, I saw that play was, why is Mark Ingram back in the game after being down, grabbing his knee? And then you gave him the ball and that he, when he was out of bounds, he was grabbing his leg again. Like that was just, it was a weird decision by the team to put Ingram back in that position. Alvin Camero was 12 for 26 in this game.
2.2 yards per carry. Woof. Two catches. Woof. You know, there were people going into this game needing Camara and Oliva to combine for points or Chris Godwin and Camara. And Camara has not been, he's not been it. But he did not get 10 fantasy points. No, he did not. No, terrible. I mean, Ingram Mount rushed him in terms of total yardage on fewer carries. Tassim Hill caught a touchdown pass. He did. He also dropped the game winning. A game winning catch? Oh, come on. I forgive you because it's on brand. It is on brand and I get it. If it was Deont. Was it in his hands? If it was Deontay Johnson, I would say the same thing. However, Footland, if you are listening and did not see the game, he caught a difficult catch.
It was in his hands, right? Yeah, security. Okay, okay. It was in his hands and then it was on the ground. And then a defender came up with a, but brutal, but brutal hit on the ball, totally legal, knocked it out and, uh, the, but, but when a ball hits you in the hands and then it is on the ground afterwards, that is called an incomplete pass. A drop. No. Concussion is the word you're looking for. He didn't get hit. He got hit in the ball. I don't think he got hit in the head, did he? Oh, he got hit. Yeah, he got shoulder. I think he went right. I think it was a perfectly legal hit right, like. Right in the chest. Yeah. We'd have to relook at it, but it looked like he got hit in the chest and then drop the ball. But regardless, for fantasy purposes, the, the, the buccaneers look really, really bad. Mike Evans hasn't been good in over a month now. Obviously, there was the pass interference call that would have changed the entire game, and maybe you can.
have those small mental victories. Chris Gobwin also had a touchdown call back. The reality is Tom Brady, when there's any pressure on him, is doing what Matt Ryan's been doing, which is just going, get rid of the ball, the shortest route possible. And they're not protecting him very well. That's the issue is that his offensive line isn't what it was a couple of years ago. They've had injuries and retirements, and Brady is not going to be able to do the same things. that he's done in the past unless they protect him. And to my knowledge, they're not gaining any new offensive linemen. What do you do with the running backs in Tampa Bay moving forward in terms of determining start sit? I mean, Rashad White had six catches in this game. So did Leonard Fournett. Man. White got into the end zone. Fournette ran for more yards. I mean, it is a full time split. Yeah, it really looked like Rashad White was taking over. And then he had a pretty bad fumble.
if I'm remembering that correctly. And then Fournet was very much the next man up. They went back to Rashad White, obviously. He caught the touchdown at the end, but it seems like it will be the timeshare, but I think I lean Rashad White. Yeah, prior to the fumble. uh four net was was very involved this looked like a like a pretty even split and i think that's what you have to look at you could start either one of these guys but you're going to be splitting the workload so for instance next week i believe they played the san francisco 49ers ew i don't want a split workload against that defense with this offense i'll probably bench both of these guys but if they were playing the chargers or a run defense that is you know really porous then i would probably play both
You didn't want to play Jeff Wilson or Rahim Moster against the 49ers, and so I think you're right on the money with this one. Let's turn the page. running backs. Travis Homer is dealing with a knee sprain. DJ Dallas picked up basically a high ankle sprain and then did the thing where you play through it a little bit because he had to. I expect them to sign someone and I don't think it is unreasonable to think that Kenneth Walker might be back this week. They haven't ruled him out this week. He would be less than 100%, but I have no idea who is going to be allowed to play running back for. I mean, maybe it's Tony Tony. James Jones Brooks Robinson. I don't remember his name. I think you added one in there. I'm not sure it's Brooks Robinson. No, I don't think so. You added a baseball one in there, Jason. Yeah, for you, Brooks. Oh, thanks. And then there's Tony Jones. I think that's how it started once upon a time. Hmm. One of them might play running back this week. Hayden Hurst, doubtful to play for the mangles moving forward. It seems like, it feels like an upgrade for Boyd at the least. He can drop more passes this week? Yeah. That was so bad. One of the worst time of the season. I don't know how you can. I don't know how you can start Boyd. Well, there's, there's ladies confidence. There are devil leagues out there where people will need to play him. Yes, there. Yes, there are. Mike. Mike, share a team that is one of them. Mike White will start against Buffalo. He will, but we did hear from the Jets coaching staff. The plan is for Zach Wilson to play at some points.
This year. One of the most ridiculous comments I've ever seen from a head coach. I need to go watch the video because if there's got to be more to it. It has to be because all I've seen is the headline that he expects him to play again this season. And that just seems like you're expecting. Actually be the backup because he's been inactive. Yeah, that's probably it. Maybe. Hopefully that's it. Because are you expecting Mike White to get injured? I mean, the fact that you said Mike White's going to start week 14, the reason that that is in our news section is because of this quote where he's saying, yeah, Zach Wilson is going to play again this year. The, if Mike White goes out and throws three picks, get ready for some mayhem. Yeah. Because what he gives, you know, sometimes these coaches with the defense like that, the only way you feel like you're going to lose is with turnover. I just.
Mike White was a little off in this past game. Sure. He's got it right now. He should be the starter, but stranger things. There's going to be some waiver decisions to be made that you don't know what the outcome is really going to be yet, but that is the nature of Tuesday. Yeah, and one of those pickups could end up being the Raiders defense. They should be widely available because they're one of the worst defenses out there. But if John Wolfert, who is currently day to day, and that's a Thursday night game, so not a lot of recovery time, if he's out and they have to go back to Bryce Perkins, then I would be willing to fire up the Las Vegas Raiders defense. Certainly.
I'd play him against Wolford. Wolford is not horrific. And they are horrific themselves. Yeah, that's why I would play. No, I mean like the Raiders are a risky play. Sure, but they can at least rush the passer and the Rams offensive line is terrible. Like if it was Stafford, I would still be willing to stream the Raiders. This is your last week of waivers because it's such a massive tournament and there's sometimes bad drops being made. We lock waivers once playoffs start. So you've got all this week as open waivers or at least daily recurring fab waivers the way it's been all year. At the end of this week, your roster that you finish this week's games with, that is set for all three weeks. Six teams are on by this week. The Bears, Colts, commanders, Falcons, Packers, and Saints, and it's time to dive into what wide receivers were welcoming into the fold this week. So who's at the tippy top of your list? Well, I think for this week, you're probably looking for a start, more so than a stash. This is the final week to get in before the playoffs, a lot of buy weeks. So if I'm looking to start a player, There are two options that I like. My number one option that I like is someone that I think people will have a hard time starting because of what a disappointment and a trap game he just had. Oh, no. The spot starter? The spot starter, Zay Jones. He had a line of two catches for 16 yards this last week in a great matchup against Detroit. Obviously a very huge disappointment. He had two bad drops in the game. One of those drops would have been a touchdown.
He knows when to disappoint, but I think people are off of Say Jones this week. The pressure is off. It's still a good matchup against Tennessee where you can't run the ball, but you can throw the ball. He had seven targets. He is getting enough targets and his talented enough where it was between him and Michael Gallup for me as far as who I would want to throw into my lineup. Gallup's been really involved. You'd play Zay Jones over Michael Gallup? Well, the Houston matchup for the Cowboys, I just expect the Cowboys to. I mean, goodness gracious. Like, they'll probably be arrested and not allowed to leave to Jacksonville the following week because of the manslaughter charges that will be brought on for what they're going to do to Houston, Texas. So I don't think they're going to have to throw the ball that much. Now, it could be Gallup with the touchdown, but we've seen this week after week after week. Teams playing Houston, the passing game just is nerfed. Yeah, I'm with you. I would start Zay Jones in that matchup over Michael Gallup.
I'm not, you know, chasing the two touchdowns. Gallup only had 23 receiving yards in that game. Just got into the end zone twice. So I would probably play Zay Jones. If I didn't need to start somebody this week, I don't want Jahan Dodson to be ignored. I agree. Coming off the injury, like he was an important piece, then he came back off the injury, was eased in, snapwise. And now I think, you know, you just look at the end of the year, you're saying, well, do you want Jahan, John? Jehan Dodson on your roster or do you want, you know, to take a shot with one of these Sherfield, Carter, Nico Collins. I think if you don't need somebody this week, he's somebody that should be rostered. Yeah, and obviously he's on by, so you can't need him this week. But he is very, very talented. If you look at... Dodson, we've got Dodson here. There you go. What? It's been a minute since that one. We just repurpose the Doxon drop. Yeah.
No, he says, he says, I know, but I believe he says John Dotson in that. We know. John's really quiet. Oh, he whispers. Okay. That's my understanding from the classic Jurassic Park. For an actual spot start this week, I would also throw out the name DJ Chark. He's coming off a game, six targets, five for 98. So I think he had five targets the week before. He's back from his injury. And he gets to play the Minnesota Vikings who have. a problem when it comes to wide receivers. If we just look at what Garrett Wilson did, look at, and Corey Davis, like these, Corey Davis is a, is fine. Like, he's a, he's a fine NFL player. Uh, but the fact that teams are having success against the Minnesota Vikings and Chark is, is getting a decent enough target share plus the big playability that Chark brings. I think that he is an option this way. I think the matchup is what puts that over the top. For me, DJ Chark.
Corey Davis and Darius Slayton. Those three guys are very similar in the sense that I think they're, you know, they're good games. They're like five for 90 or somewhere around there. They're deeper play. You know, they can have a big play against any team. But Corey Davis plays in Buffalo this week. And Darius Slayton plays against Philadelphia. He might get Slay. on Slayton. Right. So I would prefer chart over those two other matchup plays. But both Cory Davis and Darius Slayton, I think, can go out there. I mean, Darius Slayton's been a top 24 wide receiver in five of the last eight games. And I know he had a good game against another difficult matchup. I don't remember what it was off the top of my head. Slayton? Yeah. Slayton is top 24 wide receiver in five of eight games. Isaiah Hodgins breaking out for New York. And then you have Richie James with the underneath routes in.
New York. Is that the order you put them in? Are you still Slayton Hodgson? Would you go Slayton Hodgins James? Yes. Of those three for sure. Yeah, I'll just take the talent. As far as stashing a guy, I mentioned Corey Davis. I'm not really wanting to play him against Buffalo, but the upcoming schedule for the Jets would be Detroit, Jacksonville, Seattle. So that's an interesting three game run there for. for a guy who's he's back he was you know two weeks ago he was coming off the injury didn't play his full snaps only had three targets but this past week back over 80% of the snaps 10 targets again i'm not i don't want to play him against buffalo but as long as mike white is starting against detroit and the and jacksville the next couple weeks cori davis is a is in flux consideration and um we haven't brought up trent sherfield's name but he is he's he's
Interesting. He had a 75-yard touchdown, only three targets, but. Has he seen any target volume? No, no target volume. This is solely just a, if Jalen Waddle were to miss this game, I don't think he'll miss it because he kept coming back in the game, but he's clearly banged up. But if Waddle were to miss against the Chargers, Sherfield will probably be involved more than he has been on the season. DeMarcus Robinson had eight targets again for Baltimore. They're going to be from Huntley, though. Which is fine. They were last week, too. Yeah, they were from Huntley last week. And if you remember, the passing volume you would expect to go up, Huntley still runs the ball, but not as much as Lamar Jackson. Remember last year when Mark Andrews went all hamburger? That was with Huntley. That was with him throwing the ball. So I don't, I agree. DeMarcus Robertson probably belongs a little bit higher up in this list. Would you, you'd add Jehan Dodson over Jameson Williams?
I would because he is, I mean, he's playing a lot of snaps. In fact, this last week, his snap count went way up. 91% exactly. And he had been living in the 60s, 70s, whereas James, I just don't know if he gets really involved this season at all. He's still recovering and he's still a prospect. Like, we haven't seen James and Williams. You could proclaim, well, he was the greatest wide receiver in this draft. He had the ACL. That's the only reason he wasn't. But you have not seen it yet. Jehan Dodson has already proven on an NFL field that he can play. So I would go with him. Top drop candidates. I mean, there's an important part of the year to kind of cut bait, move forward. Oh, goodness. Cortland Sutton, Michael Pittman, Jacoby Myers. Rough. I, I'm not cutting Myers.
