offensive win. I mean, where they can play conservative and they can rely on their defense. I mean, you have Oakland who is 10 and 2 division leading fighting, you know, I know it's in Arrowhead, but they're going to score. This is what you've seen from Oakland this week, this year. They break through at some point. It might be the third quarter, it might be the fourth quarter, but they break through. So I'm hopeful for those that are, you know, looking at Kelsey and Smith as a streamer, that you get enough out of them to be happy. I will, just to jump on there.

14:07 ↗

Like you said, the Raiders are 10 and 2. One of those two was the Chiefs. Correct. Yeah. I mean, for those starting Derek Carr, what do we say? 2.25 and 1 last time they played? Yeah. With a pick or multiple picks. So this is the time for them to rise above, though. You're a 10 and 2 team. You want to show you're a contender. This is, I mean, this is the division. Kansas City wins this. I think Kansas City wins the division. Fair. All right.

14:34 ↗

Anything else from the news category, guys? There was just, there was the blurb about Rob Kelly. He's looked great. Yeah, he's looked fantastic. Other than trying to catch the ball. That is, that is, that's like a seal. Yeah, it's very comical to watch. They really go for that. Rob Kelly's got to get that part of his game a little bit better. But Jay Gruden came out and said, quote, there's no doubt about it. We would like to get more.

15:00 ↗

of Kelly involved. Now I know I always make fun of the coaches when they say this because you're in charge, but it's just something to monitor that these these matchups for Rob Kelly in the future are not strong, but he ran well against Arizona. He looked very, he only got 14 carries. Be in Philadelphia this week. Philadelphia's defense is softened. Yeah, they mostly because their secondary is softened and it's it's allowed running backs to make this.

15:28 ↗

A little more hay. So let's go ahead and get in the mailbag. Mailbag. Oh, it's time for some playoff mailbag. Visit the website. Click the questions button if you want to submit questions for the show. You can also dial our voicemail hotline 302464 TFFB. Please keep your questions, your questions on the voicemail short so we can play them on the show. And a reminder, we're doing all of our week 14 rankings, premium projections, flex rankings at join the foot.com.

16:00 ↗

All that stuff is coming out today. So stay tuned for that. And we're going to answer some questions right now, starting with a voicemail question. So let's go ahead and do that. How's it going, guys? Huge fan of the show. Had a quick question. I lost Gronk, A.J. Green, and Al-J. Jeffrey off my team the same week. It killed me. I'm still in the hunt for the playoffs, but I have to win this week. I have Fedorowitz, A.J. Green, or I'm sorry, A.J. Green, Antonio Gates. Who do I play this week? Thanks for the help, guys.

16:30 ↗

I play Fedorowitz. I do not have any confidence in which. It's not even a witch right now in terms of Gates or Henry. Which one to play? It's neither. You were confusing me. I know. She's a witch. There's no witch is out there. But last week, I think Gates had what? She turned me into a new. Gates had a couple catches. Henry had one. I mean, for me, I'd play Fedorowitz. And for me, I would go Gates. So, Mike, you're going to end up tie breaking this. But I'll just say this. When it comes to Gates versus Fedorowitz,

17:00 ↗

they're both going to catch four or five balls, in my opinion. I think Fedorowitz is going to have four or five. Gates is going to have four or five receptions. Gates is going to have four receptions. He was Guest and Houston before that. Four receptions, five receptions. That's what Gates has done. And I think Fedorowitz will be there. But if I have to bank on who's getting a touchdown, I think Gates is more likely than Fedorowitz. So I would lean Gates. They are back to back in my rankings. Yeah. I mean, it's super close. You're right. I feel like.

17:29 ↗

You know, Fedorowitz had the three touchdowns in a row, and he hasn't scored in four weeks. Right. So maybe he's due, but maybe it's Brock Osweiler. So if you had to bank on a quarterback, you'd bank on Rivers. Better chance of a huge game from Gates. There's no doubt about that. I still would go Fedorowitz. Okay. I'd stand alone. Stand alone at the gates of Antonio. All right. Let's go ahead and jump into this question from Gavin in Portland. Who would you rather handcuff? Zeke or the slippery fish?

17:59 ↗

Why not both? Well, there's a four running back. He's trying to decide here. So it's a four running back maximum has Zeke, Shady Gordon, and Alf. And I would, I would rather handcuff the slippery fish. I feel like it's every other week. I'm sending a message to the guys on Slack. I'm saying, and LaShawn McCoy's dead again. You're starting to get into a boy cried wolf situation with that one. Right.

18:26 ↗

Because we see that note. And I'm like, oh, really? How bad is he hurt? And then, like, you go. He's done for the season. You got a really nice run. Oh, he's back in. No, you had the couple weeks ago where, I mean, he went, he got clipped low. He went down. Helmut came off immediately. Yeah. An entire herd of training staff rushed on the field. And you just, everyone was, oh, it looked. It looked. It looked season ending. And then he got help to the side and he said, whoa, I'm going to, I got to warm up real quick. And then last week, you had to play where he goes down.

18:55 ↗

I mean, it obviously was the muscle cramps, but he lays there with his leg stuck straight in the air. You know, crap, here we go again. But you're right. Gillesley's already making a mark with McCoy. If McCoy went down, Gillesley would be, I think, I think the odds of McCoy going down are just higher. And that's exactly why. That's all it is. Yeah, Alf, I think, is the higher play if both guys went down. But I would much rather be protecting shady right now. All right. Christian in El Paso says, who would you rather start? Malcolm.

19:25 ↗

Mitchell. All right. Demarius Thomas or Stefan Diggs. This is a PPR. Demarius Thomas has Tennessee. Yeah, that match. Diggs has Jacksonville. The matchup of Demarius Thomas against the Tennessee Titans secondary is, it's delightful. I mean, there's, there's no other way to put it. The Tennessee secondary has been just abysmal giving up. Look, three touchdowns.

19:54 ↗

in week 12, it wasn't last week, but to Chicago. I mean, that was the comeback attempt there by Barclay to the previous week. I mean, just if you look at the, what they're actually giving up in total fantasy production of the wide receiver, it's horrifying. So that's where I would lean, assuming that Trevor Simeon is the quarterback. I am with you. I'm going to Marius Thomas. The over under on all these games is pretty low, all three players.

20:22 ↗

The Minnesota game, my worry, is that Jacksonville just won't be able to do a thing against that Minnesota defense. They haven't been able to do a thing lately at all. And so the Stefan Diggs PPR play there, I don't mind it. I would go Thomas Diggs Mitchell in this set. Okay. So Mitchell is your three? He is. Okay. Is Mitchell your three, Jason?

20:43 ↗

Mitchell would be my three, but he's so close to me. I mean, the way that I see it is very similar to what Andy's describing. Mitchell has a higher ceiling than Diggs to me because I don't see Minnesota needing a lot of offense, whereas, you know, Mitchell could explode. But Diggs seems very safe. So, but, but the answer for me, it's unanimous for us. It's Demarius Thomas. And what if the Tampa Bay Buccane your mascot is the quarterback? Paxton Lynch. What if he's the QB for Thomas? Is that change your, your answer?

21:12 ↗

Yes, it does. It does for me. Yeah. I would go Diggs at that point. All right. I would go Mitchell at that point. All right. Luke in New Jersey wants to know this. That's not the same question there. Okay, there we go. Luke in New Jersey. Who should I start on my flex? By the way, this is what I'm talking about. Everybody's got Malcolm Mitchell, Ligarrett, Blunt or Alan Robinson? Malcolm Mitchell, Ligarette, Blunt.

21:34 ↗

or Alan Robinson. This is a standard league. I'm going blunt. Yeah, you got to go blunt here. Baltimore has a very good defense, and so you can worry about that, but it's not like, I mean, Malcolm Mitchell's playing against a bad defense. Alan Robinson's playing against a bad defense. Garrett Blunt is in standard. He's scoring touchdowns. He's been used. I'm definitely sticking with Blum. I got blunt. When you say bad defense, you meant like a good defense? A bad matchup. Bad matchup. I've got blunt at the beginning.

22:03 ↗

Elm Robinson at the back, so that puts Malcolm in the Mitchell. I see what you did. You've been trying to set that one up for weeks. All right. 24:44 ↗

All right. Let's get back into this question from Garrett. I will say this. Apparently all of our sponsors just allow us to be freed up to study fantasy football even more. So all of you players out there will dress you, we'll feed you, and you can just, you can enjoy the football in your family. So Garrett has a question. He says, who should I pick up to handcuff with Carlos High? Would you pick up Dewan Harris or Chandra? That's...

25:08 ↗

Actually, it's Tuan Harris. Yeah, it's not even close. Sean Dron's been playing fantastic. Yeah, but this is one of those things where it's like, it was like a couple years ago in Dallas where it was, who's the scaback in Dallas? Lance Dunbar. You're not going to handcuff with Lance Dunbar because Dary McFadden would have been the guy to take the cake. To me, it's the same situation. Duane Harris is the, you saw last year, you saw last year with the Saints, right? I mean, Tim Hightower wasn't the guy playing when, uh,

25:35 ↗

When Ingram was there, he was the handcuff once Ingram was gone. You see it with Cameron Artis Payne last year as well. He wasn't even active in the game. But he is the handcuff. Harris is the handcuff here. All right. Here's a question from Sam in Miami. Is it best to watch out for the weather for kickers who might play in snow? Yeah. He has Goskowski. He doesn't know. Yeah. Yes. Weather is oftentimes overreacted to. There are only two things that really matter.

26:03 ↗

in weather. One is, the main one is wind. Wind is what matters. Like it doesn't matter whether it's hot or cold. I was doing research this week on temperature as we get into this time of year. Going back historically, if you look back the last 5,000 games and you take weather into account, you look at the total points scored in the game, weather, temperature makes no difference.

26:26 ↗

Makes virtually no difference. Unless it's Colin Kaepernick versus Matt Barkley. Well, what happens is when it gets to the 20s, when it gets to the 20s and below, it affects the passing game. The passing game goes to crap, but the running game goes up. Total points is still very good. However, with kickers, that's where. There's just no need to play a kicker in a bad situation like that. The only one that I would consider just not paying attention to at all is Justin Tucker.

26:54 ↗

because he hasn't missed a kick all year, and they give him opportunities from beyond the 50, and it's not going to cost you to get those. Otherwise, I really want him. I love Done games this time of year for kickers. I really just want Justin Tucker to be in a position at the end of a game. There's one second on the clock. They're not worried. Tie game, and they're like, we're going to go for the 70-yard field goal. Just try it because he'll nail that sucker. I know he will. He definitely could break the 64-yard record.
