I like that pick. I like the ability to, in a standard league, put a 10 touchdown type of guy on your roster. I also really like what I'm seeing. You know, you have Larry Fitzgerald. Even in standard leagues, he was the wide receiver 17 last year in a standard league. Try it and true. Frank Gore. I'm going to throw out two bits of news here because I lean the Tyler Eifford path. And to speak to Andrew Luck.

There are reports, the newest reports on Andrew Luck, he may not be ready for training camp. You go over to the other side, Tyler Eifer with his back says, I don't know if I'm going to be ready for training camp. So do you have any concerns? Is there a time period for you where you start moving Andrew Luck down? No. Not for Andrew Luck. I trust. All players would like to not be ready for training camp, just for the record. That is the actual opinion and hope for all of these guys. But.

Yes, there would be a point, of course, where you'd have to start moving. But somebody like Andrew Luck, I mean, you know, this is like if he's playing, then you should be confident in him. Whereas Eiffert, you know, he's had injury problems too. Exactly. With Eifert, the news worries me more because there's just been such a long history of he's not able to recover well from injuries. And if he's not back yet, that scares me a little bit. You know, Eifert's usually going around the sixth round. I'm certainly not going to take him in the fifth.

Yeah, I don't really like where we're sitting here. I think Andrew Luck. You want to do it, don't you? I do kind of want to do it. But I see so many good names that I like later on in the draft. Russell Wilson, Matt Ryan. These are the names that I am very interested in with this fifth and this turn pick on our way back in. Yeah, we are coming right back. Amir Abdullah, Mike Gillisly, Dante Moncrief, and Eifert are.

Those are the four names who I really want to get two of those guys. I think we do ourselves in injustice taking effort or luck too early at this point. So I think we should take one of those guys. I'm very on board with Abdullah or Gillesley. Jason? Yeah. Abdullah, Gillisley, they're both fine. This is around the... No excitement. No, you're correct. No excitement whatsoever. This is the situation where when I'm sitting here in most of these mocks...

There's guys I like better in my rankings that I'm just not willing to take yet because I don't even need to. I'll get them in a couple of rounds. Because of what I said earlier, it being a mock and me never taking a quarterback early, I actually do, I'm curious, if we took luck here and then paired them with a Dante Moncrief after the turn, you know, and get that connection, will we like our team more? And there's only one way to.

to figure that out. Now, I usually don't draft quarterbacks this early, and I actually have Russell Wilson ahead of luck. So if this was me in a live draft, I'm not taking Andrew Luck here. But I am very curious how it would turn out. Well, we're going to probably find out now that you've said that. But let me say this. You said you're kind of not liking everything you see here. There's nothing that makes you jump off the page. When I'm in those situations, I generally would rather take a running back. If I'm not super happy about all the positions, I'd rather take the running back.

But I think Abdul is coming around to us, and Mike will be excited when he does. So against Mike's will, Andrew Luck, has been drafted to the roster. We're going to see how things turn out. Luck, Freeman, Murray, Thomas Watkins. After Luck went Sanders. Well, look at this. One could argue we started a run here, because despite there only being six picks after us before our next one in the sixth round, both Matt Ryan and Russell Wilson are off the board. So if you talk about getting a top three quarterback, we did.

Perkins, Sanders, Eifert did go. So Ifer did not come back around to us. Jimmy Graham is there. Kyle Rudolph, Zach Kurtz Martel's Bennett, Delaney Walker. We're back around. Abdullah is still there, Mike. We have luck. Are you thinking about Jimmy Graham? Are you thinking about Larry Fitzgerald, Julian Edelman, Dante Moncrief, Brandon Marshall in a standard league? Or are you thinking running back? No, I'm thinking I want a hefty dose of touchdowns.

You're thinking Armies. Does that mean Gillisley then? Because Abdul is not really known for. It would be Gillisley from here for me because I don't think that he will make it back. Well, you know what, Mike, you get your wish. Mike Gillisley's on the roster. We'll make that one quick as we roll back into the back of the seventh round. Dalvin Cook and Delaney Walker, two spectacular D. Oh, look at what just happened. Two spectacular D names. Wow. Mario, off the board, Edelman, Peterson, Winston, Powell, Graham.

More quarterbacks, Newton, Rathesberger, and Derek Carr. I'll tell you right now, I am very happy that we took the quarterback there and we get the benefit of all these other teams taking quarterbacks. The run of quarterbacks behind us passed ride receivers and running backs down to us, and I like the way our roster looks, but Amir Abdullah has fallen to us. Dante Moncrief has fallen to us.

For me, it's the pair. I want Dante Moncrief and Andrew Luck together. Moncrief seven touchdowns on only 32 receptions last year, healthy and coming into this season. But do you consider Amir Abdullah as well? I'm okay considering Amir Abdullah here. I don't mind being heavy on the running backs. But I'm with you. I want Moncrief. I want the guy who's just a touchdown in game. And I believe it's a contract year for Moncrief. He has a lot to prove. His name starts with D.

I'm just saying. This is ridiculous. You know what else? D is for destiny, Mike. Okay. I hope this doesn't reflect on our draft grade, you know. Well, it looks like you guys got a D. I'll say we're going to get a D. That's right. Frank Gore would also have been in consideration for me there. He's still on the board. We took Dante Moncrief, Ertz's cousins, Rudolph, closed out the seventh round. Deshaun Jackson, Corey Davis, and Amir Abdullah went in the eighth.

So Abdullah didn't drop back through, but Frank Gore is still sitting there on the board. That'd be three Colts. You'd have luck and Gore and Moncrief. Let's look at some of the wide receiver values here as well as the tight ends. Diggs, Decker, Mordy's. James and Crowder, Martavis, Bryant. What else are we looking at? Matt Forte is still on the board, Theoretic. And then at the tight end position, it's getting mighty thin.

So thin that I would wait until the very end. Remind me our roster. Read our roster. Absolutely. Quarterback, Andrew Luck. At the running back, we have Devante Freeman, DeMarco Murray, and Mike Gillisley. And then at wide receiver, we have Demerius Thomas, Sammy Watkins, and Dante Moncrief. Considering the risk attached to Sammy Watkins' health?

I really like the Moncrief decision there over a running back. As you said, Gore was on the board, still is. But I like ensuring Watkins with another potentially upper echelon guy if things go right with Dante Moncrief. How are you feeling about the roster? I feel really good about the roster. Literally the only thing I don't like about it right now is that there's two guys.

that pop out to me that I would really like for this roster, one of which is Frank Gore, and I worry about putting that many Colts together. Oh, it's like you're upset. There's two people that you're... No, no, no, that's good. I hate one of those guys, I want to draft. No, that's good. But then the other guy is a wide receiver where, based on our roster makeup right now, I kind of would prefer to grab a good running guy. It's hard to not take Frank Gore here. You know, if you look at the other running backs that are out there, you're talking about mostly scatbacks.

Now, there's guys we can maybe get later, who I love like Kareem Hunt and some kind of high upside guys. But for me, Martavis Bryant, this deep. I know you're excited. I'm comfortable. I mean, you talk about a standard league guy who's got the chance to win you weeks completely. I mean, look, especially with this wide receiver depth, when they are at home, when the Steelers are playing in Pittsburgh.

You put Marty B in that starting lineup, and you've got a winning wide receiver court, even though we took two running backs to start. Let me give you one last bit of pendulum swing for the running back position. Sure. Mike Gillisley, completely unproven in New England. We're not sure of what the role is going to be. We may have confidence in that goal line position for him, but there are a lot of players involved there. Recent reports say Dionne Lewis will still be there. You have Rex Burkhead.

You have James White and you have Mike Gillisley. If Gillisley doesn't pan out, you're sitting here right now, you go Freeman, Murray, and nothing else. So does that change your opinion? Do you want Martavis Bryant or would you rather have the solid Frank Gore? You know, theoretic. I got a name. I'll throw out there then. This might be too early for you guys, even though this is actually a value at his ADP.

But I love Derek Henry this year. I was going to say, I'm surprised you didn't throw out Derek Henry, who is actually a, I think he's a six-round. He is. His ADP is usually a six-rounder. Since we've got to Marco Murray, I think he has standalone value. I think he has, you know, handcuffed potential. If you wanted to go running back, it for me would be between Frank Gore and Derek Henry. If you go wide receiver, it's Marty McBride. I want you to vote on the position you want, and then we're going to make a decision. Mike, do you want a running back or a white out?

Uh, if it's, if it's not hard, Mike. It's not hard. Just pick one or the other. Uh, wide receiver or running back. I want to know your vote. You're about to lose your opportunity to contribute. Okay. I would also prefer. All right. I'm going to phone a friend. Brooks. I would, I would get running back. Gore. Or do you take Derek Henry here? I still think I'd love to wait for Henry to go through. But where do you lean, Brooks? We're going to phone a friend. Between those and lean and Henry.

You're leaning Henry. Oh, Henry. Mike, do you lean Henry? Between the two, I do. All right. We're going to ensure our running back instead of give us flexibility there. Big passing on our Tavis here is a bad thing. Maybe he'll get back. I will say this. We don't usually draft handcuffs. I see personally, I see Derek Henry is more than a handcuff. We don't normally drive handcuffs, but we dropped to Tevin Coleman. That's not the same thing. I wanted to make the point, though, that.

That's not the whole reason we're getting him. I would consider him here without Murray. All right. Frank Gore went right after Henry, as he should. I guess one perspective on that pick selection is Henry with Murray down is a monster. Gore is going to be slow and steady, not a weak defining type of guy. Saw some defense go off the board in the eighth round, then Lagart Blunt, Riddick, Martavis Bryant, off the board.

Devante Parker. I like that at 810 in a standard league. I really do. P. Rhine off the board. I believe Martavis Bryant is still available. He is not based on me saying Martavis Bryant is gone moments ago. All right. No, I know. I was disagreeing with what I was looking at. You said that and I thought I saw him still available to draft. Oh, I got you. You're wrong. Danny Woodhead to start the ninth round. James and Crater, Jeremy Hill, Jonathan Stewart, Seattle Defense.

All right, now we're sitting here with three bench spots left. We need a tight in. Eric Ebron on the board. I like taking a shot on Ebron. The question is, would he drop another pick? Diggs is still there. Garson, Corey Coleman, Jordan Matthews, Kenny Britt. Foof. Man. Number of wide receiver names I'm quite happy with here to the point where I'm wondering if we should have gone running back with the Moncrief pick. But what do we want to do here, guys? For me, I'm...

We're in the late rounds now. I want some major upside. So I'm actually looking at Willie Sneed at this point of the draft or Stefan Diggs, which I'm so torn on who is Stefan Diggs. I know that he's flashed. He's had those. High reception total games. Couple just monster games to start last year is frequently fighting through injury.

Matt Harmon, who does all the reception, he charted out Stefan Diggs and it was just very positive things to say about him where he just, this looks like a guy, if he can stay on the field for 16 games, is going to have a big breakout. So do you want to go with the potential breakout of Stefan Diggs or what we know Willie Sneed will have a role in a high volume, in a high scoring offense? Those are the two guys I'm looking at.

Any interest in Randall Cobb, Mike Wallace? No. All right. Let's look here at Eric Ebron. Any consideration there? I mean, I'm sure Jason's probably still trying to talk to Eric Ebron over there, but. No, Eric Ebron, the reason that I love him is you can get him much later than even where we're at now. So I wouldn't be pulling the trigger here. I wouldn't think much later. You don't think? No, I don't.

Yeah, I'd still would. I would go one more. All right. Let's go with Willie Sneed here. Let's take Willie Sneed and the opportunity that exists there now in New Orleans with Brandon Cooks off the field. You have a Hall of Fame caliber quarterback. Eric Ebrun bounced around to the fourth pick here, the 10th round. I think that's the right place for an upside tied in that is very much due for a touchdown.
