Todd Gurley has 14 touchdowns. He is on pace to break the single season record. And I wanted to briefly bring this up because I brought up the other day. You know, what if the Rams clinch early? Do they play Gurley in week 16? I hope he remains on pace to break the record. Because last year, the Rams did struggle, as Mike said, after resting their players in week 17, despite the fact that, you know.

41:35 ↗

They could have gotten the three seed, although it was not just up to them. It was dependent on other teams. If Gurley's on pace for a record, it flips the script entirely because then they're playing for the record. I mean, Todd Gurley's on the field, and Sean McVeigh's agenda is to get a player a touchdown record. That is the best case scenario for a fantasy running back. So I didn't want to send panic and chills through people's souls when I said, hey, maybe Gurley gets sat. We all set on the show, we're not moving and we're not really doing anything about it.

42:04 ↗

But there is the world where Todd Gurley wins you entitled because he is going for a record. He has the most, or he's tied with Priest Holmes for the most through the first seven weeks of the season. He is well aware of where he's at on that record, and it is important to him. That's been reported. So, I mean, it'll be, so coming down to week 16, it'll be the first time a running back will be the running back one on the week with four carries.

42:29 ↗

Oh, really? Yeah. There you go. It'll be all Malcolm Brown. Oh, until this. And then they'll get down to the one. Okay. All right, get in there, Gurley. So we have four carries and four touchdowns. It has been confirmed that Will Fuller is out for the season with a torn right ACL. That sucks. He looked defeated on the field after that play. He didn't even look in pain. He just looked like resigned. And that stinks because two times in that game, Mike, out.

42:54 ↗

out of the blue just posted in our Slack channel. It wasn't it. It was after a play. Will Fuller is really fast. There are very few players in the NFL that can do what Will Fuller can do. Tyree Kill. It stinks. He's been injury prone his whole career. Yeah, it is. It's really, really sad because this is an offense. We saw it the second half of last year before Watson got injured. And now that they're.

43:20 ↗

they're rolling. This is an offense that could be a monster for fantasy and for just the NFL. I mean, three weeks into the season when the Texans were 0 and 3, Vegas, odds on favorite to be the first coach fired was Bill O'Brien, and now they're five and three. Now they're going to win the division or look like it. Well, yeah, this is a huge blow. If the Jags don't figure things out, that is what's going to happen. The five and one Saints take on the four, two, and one Vikings in an exciting Sunday night football game.

43:49 ↗

I love it when you have the primetime games just filled with fantasy players. 52.5.0.0. The Vikings are one-point home favorites. And look, this is exciting. This is our rematch from the Minnesota Miracle, the Stefan Diggs walkoff. And I love Diggs in this game. He's the start of the week. Looking at the storylines for this matchup, it starts with Latavius Murray and Delvin Cook in the situation. We know that Cook is going to be out a while.

44:18 ↗

Couple great games. I mean, Latavius Murray went from dud fill in to stud fill in. Week six was the RB7. Week seven was the RB6, but, you know, what do you think about him in this game at home? I am not a big fan of Latavius Murray in this game. Now, can you start him absolutely? I wasn't a big fan of him last week and he still came through. Yeah, the Jets, RB6.

44:42 ↗

Yes, but the Jets, the Saints' rush defense has been very good. They're the third best against fantasy points given up against the running back position. And I think this will be a higher scoring game where it's not going to be perfect for the running game script, and then you've got a tough D. Now, he'll get the volume, so he's okay to me, though. He is not a top.

45:06 ↗

20 running back. He's in that low-end RB2 or a flexible RB3. That's how I see him despite how great he's been the last two games. Okay, let's talk about Al and Camara. Let's talk about Mark Ingram. They're both must-starts in this game despite the tough matchup. Yeah, Camara is always a must start. Ingram is the one where you can take a look and decide if you want to play him or not.

45:32 ↗

I will just lay out my personal scenario. I need two running backs between the three guys of Nick Chubb, Carry on Johnson, and Mark Ingram. Yeah, who are you playing? As of right now, Mark Ingram is on my bench. Okay. So you don't have to play him, and he's not a must bench either. He's just, he's similar to, I'm similar to Latavius Murray, fringe running back to Murray or Ingram? That is a great question. Great question. I would take Ingram.

46:02 ↗

Yeah, I would too. I would as well. All right. Treyquan Smith was, you know, he was a big discussion point for the waiver show. Is he a legit flex play in this game or are we kind of, you know, on the road against Minnesota? Yeah, legit flex. He'll be a legit flex play every single week. Yeah, I completely agree. I don't know that every single week, but this is going to be a high scoring game. So I would love Treyquan Smith as one of those shoot for the moon, 70-yard touchdown flex options. What about Kyle Rudolph?

46:31 ↗

Yeah. Yeah, he plays tied in. He does. For the Minnesota Vikings, the Saints are. Great teammate. Great teammate. Yeah, a great friend of the show. Solid guy. He's been on the show. He's been on the podcast. But this is, if you got him, you're probably playing him. But like, okay, we'll just, we'll go same game.

46:53 ↗

Would you rather play Kyle Rudolph or play Ben Watson? I was looking at this same thing because Ben Watson has been so involved. The Vikings are actually not that good against tight end, whereas the Saints are. And I was thinking, I was thinking the exact same question. Who would I rather start? I see no difference between them. I see them as identical players. The one that scores you're happy with. If they don't score, you're not happy with them at all. Ben Watson this whole year, that's been the story. So I don't think I see them any different. So, you know.

47:22 ↗

think i would start rudolph yeah i don't feel good about it i would probably do that too because they're the favorite and that would be my defining factor being at home all right uh let's talk about the monday night football game the five and two patriots take on the two and five bills the bills are at home the bills are 14 point underdog holy crap the bills have filed a petition

47:45 ↗

to simply simulate this game in a computer. Just play it on Madden. And file away this. We accept all results. We just want to keep everybody else healthy. No, I mean, look, when you break it down, the bills don't have their starting quarterback. The bills might not have their starting running back. The bills have no tangible actual starting wide receivers on the roster. And, you know, Charles Clay leads the way with about three catches a week. So...

48:10 ↗

Is there any scenario where we're surprised with a lack of Patriot production in this game on the road, divisional matchup? The Bills have had a couple of randomly surprising defensive performances this year. I mean, that's what it would have to be. It would have to be one of these shocking Bills performances. We've seen it twice already. But in fantasy football, you play the probabilities. Several weeks ago, we were light up your Vikings against the Bills. That was wrong. But the process.

48:40 ↗

was still right. I mean, you have to play the odds on favorite for what the result's going to be. And the Patriots should destroy the heck out of the bills. So I'm fine with pretty much all of the Patriots. Did you say destroy the heck out of the bill? Yes. You know, the Patriots defense and, you know, their defense special teams, that's going to be, I mean, they might be the highest score outside of Tom Brady. Right. Over under six touchdowns from the.

49:09 ↗

Well, I think you might be surprised with their defense. I think they'll be obviously, they're a top five start, but, you know, it's not Peterman. Is that a good thing or a bad thing at this point? How does the gronk injury change target distribution? If you were to miss the game, how excited are you for Gordon and for Edelman?

49:31 ↗

Do they move up a tier? I'm very excited for Edelman. That's why it's my start of the week. And yeah, I mean, these guys are starting for you regardless. Can you flex Chris Hogan if Gronk is out? Yes. James White also great play. Josh Gordon, I would be willing to play. Brady, obviously. Sony Michelle probably won't play. On the Bill's side of the ball, the only player that I would play is Shady or Chris Ivory. Man, I, bills are the only defense, by the way, that has not allowed over 300 passing yards in a game.

50:02 ↗

If Gronk, I'm going to say this. If Gronk is out, the bills are covering this spread. This game will be seven points or less if Gronk is out. That is my hot take. I'm not going to go almost upset here. I'm not an absolute lunatic. Do you have an almost upset this week? I did. It was the Lions game. Ah, okay. All right, before the Daily Dills, I do want to jump into a couple injury updates. The Buccaneers, Head Coach, Dirt Cutter on the show.

50:31 ↗

Well, not on the show, but during the show. Look, Derek, you're welcome to come on. Yeah, anytime you want, he said Peyton Barber's good to go. I know there were some bullish talk about Ronald Jones yesterday. No longer. Would you like to dispose of that? Yeah, crumple it up, throwing the garbage. I mean, the reality is we thought that coming out of the buy, it was going to be the Ronald Jones show. It wasn't. It was the Peyton Barber show. That's their starting running back. You're just going to have to deal with it, Ronald Jones fans. Deal with it. It's going to be painful. I mean, enjoy your disappointment regardless.

51:01 ↗

The Daily Dose. Brought to you by Draft. All right. Last week I whipped you guys' butts. Yeah, you did. You did. Yeah. My second loss. Still reeling. So what are we doing today, Mike? We're doing a quarterback draft. All right. I've heard of that. So if you're not familiar, you can check out draft.com slash ballers. Get in on the action. Go play some draft. It's DFS, but you already know how to play. Yeah.

51:31 ↗

I don't get the first pick, though. Oh, I would. No. As of right now, which will hold. Jason has the first pick. Gee, I wonder who I'm going to see. Yeah, it's really not fair. It's really not fair in a quarterback only that you get the first pick. I guess someone's going to get the first pick. And look. So who are you going with? I'm going to stay in the. I know what you're going to say. I know what you're going to say. Mitchell Trebisky because you want to stand by him. No, for sure my guy has to be.

52:02 ↗

Patrick Mahomes, he's everyone's number one quarterback until he's not. Yeah, and I followed that up. I'm taking Aaron Rogers in the insane over-under and scoring that we're projecting for the Rams Packer game. I went Big Ben, Kirk Cousins. Interesting. Big Ben, Kirk Cousins. I like Cousins at home against New Orleans because New Orleans can score and Kirk Cousins can score at home. I'm very happy. I thought for sure you would take Jared Garf.

52:30 ↗

But now I've got that entire match. I'm very happy about it. I love that. I was really hoping to get Jared Gough. Unfortunately, I did not. But Drew Breeze is not too bad of a consolation prize. And, you know, the Oakland Raiders defense, they don't scare me much. Andrew Luck has been just excellent. I like what their offense is doing. He's a touchdown machine right now. And I'm James Winston.

52:57 ↗

It's going to be my third quarterback pick against Cincinnati. Well, I'll go with Truth Biskey. Oh. And I'll combine him with my start of the week, Andy Dalton at home against Tampa Bay. Feel good about that. You guys are going to lose to me again. All right. Well, then I'll take the player that I bypassed the first time. And that's Tom Brady. No chance at 300 yards, man. You hear that stat? I was, that's very upsetting because that's twice in a row. I wanted Goff and Brady.

53:25 ↗

Ended up with Drew Brees. I keep leaving him to Mike. And Carson Went. Now, what are the rules? Can I take to Sean Watson? No. No, no, no. Because he already played. Yeah, you already played. And you guys are very particular. I am going to take Matthew Stafford then. Oh, that means I'm going booty scooting. I am braving the injury. Yeah. To Cam Newton. Why not? But he's Cam Newton. And I'll close it out with Russell Wilson. That's my almost upset of the week. Seattle beating Detroit in Detroit. They are three-point dogs.

53:55 ↗

So I guess we're done. I have Big Ben, Kirk Cousins, Mitch Trubisky, Andy Dalton, Russell Wilson to win the whole thing. Not bad. I've got Patrick Mahomes who could win by himself. Yeah, he's like two guys. Drew Breeze, Andrew Luck, Carson Wentz, and Matthew Stafford. And the current projected winner, according to draft, this team, Rogers, Goff, Winston, Brady.

54:20 ↗

Booty scooting. Yeah, you're actually great with the projected winner thing. You just haven't really executed on the actual winner thing. I find that insulting. Well, I... He is directly insulting you. Yes, yes. Sir, I find your insults to be insulting. It's very... It makes sense here because you've been around, Jason, and we were projecting his League of Record team to do something that it didn't do. It did not bear the same... Who else can I insult? Brooks?
