It hasn't been nearly as good as last year, but QB5 at Detroit last year, 268 and 3. So how are you feeling about Jordan Love in this matchup? Maybe we get Dobbs back. Kyle, did we have any updates there? Because Romeo Dobbs has been limited on Monday and Tuesday. I've seen a very recent update that he's trending in the right direction. And we should know today if he's active tomorrow if he passes the concussion protocol. Right now he is still in protocol. The expectation of the most recent report is that he will clear. But that hasn't been done yet. We'll know later. I think for the purpose of this outline, we should talk as if he is going to be active in this game. Okay. So if Romeo Dobbs is active, where is Jordan Love in your confidence meter? Jordan Love is exceptionally high in my confidence meter. In fact, I would put it so far as to say that my confidence is high on.

every single player on both sides of the ball. The Detroit Lions defense has been so good. And I know sometimes these divisional games, they will surprise and they will hurt us. They will end up with just the, you know, even in a dome, a 13 to 10 defensive slug fest. But in order to really punch hard in that defensive slugfest game, you have to have defensive players. And the Detroit Lions defense that has been so great lost. So many guys and they're all being labeled as week to week. Being a Thursday night game, they're not going to have these players. Like they're going to be down. I mean, from the start of the season, they're down like something insane, like eight starters. But from even just a week and two weeks ago, they're down three, four important defensive pieces. And I can't, I just want them to get healthy. And.

Stay off the field because I love this. The Detroit Lions incredible offense with a very hurt defense is a recipe for give me all the players in this game. You know, I want to start Jane Reed. I want to take a shot on Christian Watson. And I know that those are players who haven't been always great recently. But every now and then you have one of those games where you say if the over under was 60, can they hit it? And they can in this game. That's obviously not a guarantee, but you've got two good teams, two good offenses. The best defense is currently very injured, and I expect a lot of points in this game. Christian Watson or my hungry for more player, Jalen Waddle. I would go Christian Watson there. You're hungry for more because you've been malnourished. Well, Watson is... Oh, yeah, that is fair. That is fair, but the...

potential for a big massive play, I think is higher with Christian Watson. All right. And then a pretty popular start-sit question that we are getting. Jordan Love in this matchup, we know what he can do, or do you tail James Winston, who will be playing a divisional rival to Pittsburgh Steelers? So we'll talk about James Winston. I think he's a good play this week, but not to that degree. If I have someone like Jordan Love in a matchup that I expect. high potential in James can, I mean, James can James. Sure. And, you know, he'll, he has as likely to have 10 fantasy points as to have 35 fantasy points. And I'm, you can't say the same about Jordan Love. Jordan Love will, unless he gets injured in this game, he'll throw two touchdowns. Um, he'll have enough in this matchup to have a good fantasy output. Well, you have to weigh.

Jordan Love against Josh Jacobs here. Yes, he has the calf injury, but all reports are he should be just fine. And if you look at what he has been doing lately, he is absolutely on a tear, especially since the buy week, 21 points, 28, 20. I mean, he is, he's one of the top running backs at this moment. 23 opportunities, 27, 23. So it comes down to, you know, His involvement, and while the Lions are number two against running backs in the past six weeks, you feel like you're not concerned for Jacobs? I am not unconcerned, but I'm less concerned. So the injuries or the scheme, that's going to be one of the big questions. And we'll get the answer here on Thursday because they're down a lot of players. And so is this scheme and the way that they play defensive football? Because this is three years running.

where the Detroit Lions defense, even when their defense was bad and is one you targeted in the passing game, you still could never run on them. So maybe it's not just personnel. Maybe it's a matter of they are going to sell out to stop the run and force the ball to the throwing lanes. And that's great for fantasy. I love that for Jordan Love. So I could still see Josh Jacobs having a difficult time, but he has been so good. And even when they played Detroit several weeks ago in week nine, they... kind of got away from the run a little bit. He only had 13 carries, but he had 95 yards, which was surprising against the Lions. So Josh Jacobs isn't someone you can mention under any circumstance, and I think he ends up being kind of, you know, I would call it the running back 12 this week. Tucker Kraft saw seven targets against Miami. That was the second highest of the total for of the season, caught six of them for 78 yards. I mean,

The Lions defense against tight ends has, they've been shutting it down over the past six weeks. Tight ends are putting up just over five points a game against this defense. So do you, is the injuries moving craft into there? Are you going to move away from him? It's almost less the injuries than the over under, just the fact that you expect a handful of touchdowns to be thrown. Kate Otton or? No, I would go Kate Otten. I would go Will Disley over Tucker Craft as well. Okay. I think both of those players are in better situations. But Tucker Craft right now is my tight end 12. So he is startable, but the last one, essentially. The lions are fun and very easy to project. For the most part, Montgomery, in, Amon Raw, in, Jamir Gibbs, in, Jameson Williams. In is in.

I just wanted to answer for you. He averages over 15 fantasy points per game at home. Yeah, with this over under, with how this game could go. It's not a perfect matchup. You know, the Packers, we haven't talked about their defense. On the eighth against wide receivers. Exactly. They've been pretty, pretty darn good. But I, you know, this is a player who has gotten it done. And you don't want to miss his big games. In order to get James William's big games, you have to have them in your lineup. And I realize you can end up with a dud. You can end up with, you know, Houston with 6.8 fantasy points in week 10, or you can end up in week 11 with 20 fantasy points. So when I want players in this matchup, when I want players on Thursday night football for more information before the weekend, I will be starting Jameson Williams. I think that...

I would tiebreak him over some other players that might be in the same tier. I mean, he's obviously not like a you can't go away from him type of player because, you know, what is he? He's like a wide receiver two, three, cusp usually. And then where is Leporta rank in here? Leporta's so dumb. Leporta. He is. Leportas just, like part of the analysis that you come to the fantasy footballers. is stuff like this, Jason. We are red light, green light. Oh, Sam Laporte. Tight end six, 34, nine, 29, three, 28. Uh-oh. Tight end eight. That means we're going to be in the 20s this week. Green light. It is a very good matchup. Um, that's, you know, the Packers have given up more in the past game to the tight end to, then to wide receivers, uh, respect of a position.

and the high over under. I mean, I guess the best question would be which one of these two tight ends in the game? Because that's about where both these players are. They're kind of the low-end startable options. I'd go Leporto over Kraft as well. But that's a tough call. Anything else on this game? I don't think so. I think we covered pretty much every relevant player. All right. Quick break and then some mailbag. Mailbag. for me. All right. Boaz Clark wants to know who do I ride with rest of season. You don't have to lock that in. But let's just go through the thought process anyways. Kyler or Bo Nix? You have a wonderful combination of two players that.

fit together nicely in the schedule. They really do. You're going to roster both of these players. You're going to play Kyler for the next three weeks. And if you get to the championship, you're going to switch over to Bo Nix. That's how I see it based on the schedule. So the next three weeks. Man, this week for sure, because if you play Bo, you're going to get zero points. That's right. But week 15, Kyler against New England or Bo Nix against the Colts. Both are home games. Both are great. I'm still going to rely on the veteran over the rookie.

Bo Nix has been great. Kyler at home against the Patriots, I think is just a really, really good matchup. And he's at home this week against Seattle. If he has a good game, I mean, this will partly be what tells the story, right? If he goes out and has a good game, you're going to feel really confident to play him the following week. Yeah, but that's the classic Kyler trap. It does feel like that. I mean, here's the thing. We talk about like Kyler hasn't had three great games in a row. for a long time and you're trying to rely on that for the next three weeks. So it's New England at home and then he goes on the road to Carolina. So Kyler's set up for success on the playoff run. The whole, you know, has he done it? Three games in a row thing. That's, you know, it's kind of a silly statement because what is the matchups? What are the situations? Sure statement. You have to have to have the context there. I am silly. But I do think, I mean, you're, you know, if you get to week 16, you've got.

Kyler against the Panthers or you've got Bo Nix against the Chargers. You know, in a divisional matchup, I feel like that's an easy, Kyler. But then if you do make it to the championship, Bo Nix against Cincinnati. And Cincinnati is going to be a, I'll tell you right now, he's a start of the week in that championship week. Whatever they're doing there with Cortland Sutton is wild. Because if you watch the Monday night game, it was the full on Justin Jefferson of Bo Nix. buys a little time, he heaves the ball down field. And there's a guy who's just no defenders around him, which we're used to that with Jefferson. I'm not used to that with Cortland Sutton. It's... Coralyn's been awesome. At 29 years old with a rookie quarterback, he's the wide receiver six on the course of the season. And really the first month for the for the Broncos as a whole, but for Bo Nix, for Cortland Sutton, it was growing learning pains that looked like, I mean,

If you stopped the season after the first month of football, you know, where the Broncos are two and two, they're not scoring much. You know, week four, they scored 10 points. Week two, they scored six points. This was not a good offense. You would never have expected them to pump up their offensive output like they have. Right. All right. Let's put your main character, Breece Hall take to put it to the test here, Jason. Okay. This is a popular question coming in. This one just happens to come from a fellow named Josh Smith, Rico Doubtle or Breece Hall. I mean, it's Breece Hall. Is it? Yes, it really is. Is it? Yes. It really is. Is it? Breeze Hall is a better play than Rico Dowdle. He is playing the Miami Dolphins. That's talking about Breece Hall and Rico Dowdell.

Rico Suave will be playing against the Cincinnati Bengals. Yeah, I mean, well, this was a rest of season question. I know, or even, it says, or even just this week. So let's go, we'll go one step at a time, this week. This week I would choose Breece. Breece, and I, I will fully admit that it is a legitimate decision that you can't just take the name of Breece and not look deeper. Rico just got 19 carries. followed up with 22 carries. The Cincinnati Bengals are a middle-of-the-packed defense against running backs. And can give us shootout games. Yes, that's where it's more appealing to me. Because I have a hard time with this question. And I'm the Rico Doudal truther of the show. I mean, last week, it cost me where I had Ken Walker. Look, it's Ken Bone. Of course I'm going to play him.

I know I should play Rico. I feel it in my bones that I need to play Rico in this particular matchup against the Giants. I chose the name, and it was painful. Obviously, that's a one-week sample size, but it's to the point of we're at this stage of the season where you've got to start making some really hard decisions. Yeah. Some character-building deep look inside. Brees last week was terrible. The previous game we saw him was the running back three. The matchup against Miami is, I think it's actually pretty identical. Cincinnati and Miami, they are mid-level defenses, rush defenses. They are capable of providing a shootout. Both of these offenses, the Cowboys and the Jets, are you're not sure how many touchdown opportunities there will be, at least with

Rico Dowdle, it seems that there is less of a worry of a committee. They've they've kind of committed to him. I mean, yeah. I mean, it's it's really, really parallel situations here. So if you want to go Dowdell and you go Dowdalen, I don't blame you at all. But rest of season, Brees does have the best schedule left for running backs. He just goes Miami, you know, middle of the pack. Jacksonville, great matchup. The Rams middle of the pack. Buffalo. Great matchup for running backs on the ground and then Miami if you play in the final week of the season. Whereas, you know, you've got, at least in championship week for Dowdell, you've got the Philadelphia Eagles, which I would never play him against. This week, I get it for Brise. Next week, that'll be a tough decision with the Dallas Cowboys playing the Carolina Panthers. Next question. Follow up here. I see it from IG from Reggie stat. Rico or Isaac Orendo this week.

What is he? He's going to be, you know, if you end up picking up Garindo. Right. You're you paid a lot for him. You're excited. Chicago is the matchup, which Chicago's great past defense. They're not that good of a rush defense. I would say middle of the pack similar to the other matchups we've been talking about. So who would you start between those two? Rico Dattle or Waver Superstar. Oh, that's impossible. That is so impossible. I think I'd probably go Garando. I see, I think I go, I go Rico there. Just avoid the risk. I was just writing down. I think I'm going to go Breece Rico, Rico, Garando. It's where the confidence for Garando for me is because we just were celebrating and talking about, they added a Bannacanda. Like there's no one else on this roster who can spell Garendo at this point. It's, I mean, it's our, it's a hard name to spell, Jason.

Yeah, it really is. It starts with G, but then it ends with O and somewhere in between. I don't know what's going on in there. We got a question here from Kevin Casey. Can I start James and the Steelers defense? As normally you don't want to play, you don't want to play your defense against the quarterback because it's a negative correlation. James is an outlier and you absolutely can. Not that, not that everything's going to happen the same every week. Obviously last week, if you played the Denver Broncos who got torched by James, gave up over 500 yards and tons of points. You were thrilled because you also had two pick sixes. And that's not prescriptive of a forever situation. However, this isn't one time. This isn't like, oh, James just did that once. We had years, years of James being able to, I mean, honestly, his superpower for fantasy.

is usually the 30-30 year. Yes, the 30-30 year. It's his interceptions. It's the fact that he has to keep throwing the ball. It's just, it's pretty ironic to me that the pick-sixes in the Denver Broncos game came late. You know, it was like, usually his pick-sixes are what causes him to have to be on the field and throw a lot. I prefer my pick-sixes early in the game. Yeah, I mean, we keep bringing up the two. It's, it was one was really bad. The second one was like, we got it. We have to go score. Yeah. Yeah, he was forced into that situation. We got some Jalen Waddle questions, funny enough here. We'll start with this first one. From B. Barreary. Debo Samuel or Jalen Waddle? Oh, man. Debo gets Chicago. You just mentioned to Jay that they have a strong secondary. They're good at shutting down wide receivers. Debo has been tremendous at shutting himself down.

This season, holy crap, it's been bad. You didn't realize, did you? I know. I knew it's been, it surprises me just every time I open up his player profile, though, because it's, he's 38 for 531 yards. In the last three weeks. In 12 games. In three games. Well, 11. One of them, he went out right away. Yeah. But the last, he played the full game in the last three games. And if you were to give him all of the fantasy points from each of those three games, and you put them together. He does not hit the single game Jalen Warren mark of 10 fantasy points. I mean, he's been abysmal. And while I can't understand how it just keeps happening, you have to be concerned. And we brought this up, I think, two weeks ago. I went back and I watched the Debo film because I was like, what's going on? And there were plays that were just the same old Debo plate. The design was identical to how it always is. Just a...

a handoff up the side, blockers out in front. He's just got to break the first tackle like he always does, and this is going to be a big play. He didn't break that first tackle. He just got tackled behind the line of scrimmage, solo one-on-one, just didn't look that good. So I'm starting to worry it's a little bit more him than we want. You know, he's almost 29 years old. He plays a running back style of football. Not that he can't have a big game, but I worry about him. I would much rather start Juan Jennings over him. Yeah. And I think at this point, I'm for that. I'm going to take the targets from Waddle, and I need to make sure Debo is as low in my rankings as he deserves to be right now. All right. How about Jalen Waddle or Garrett Wilson? I would go Garrett Wilson. I know it's been very, very bad three games in a row for Garrett Wilson. The targets have been there. Aaron Rogers has been playing four. Six, eight, and ten in the last three games. I'll still take those.

We have to always remember. We'd say this a lot, but it's hard in the moment to really heed the advice we try to remember, which is that wide receivers are inconsistent. On the course of the season, they will all have their bad games. And when they come in stretches, you know, three games in a row, it feels like it means it's forever. Now, in Debo's situation, it's not three games in a row. It's like basically all but two games since week two. So this is pretty much the season. With Garrett Wilson, before the three-game bad stretch, there was a three-game good stretch. So I'm going to go Wilson there. All right. Matthew Hernandez says Joanne Jennings or MVS rest of season. Jennings. That is Joanne Jennings for me. Yeah. I have moved to a place where I think MVS is a, is an okay, is an okay starter. Yeah, I mean, he's playable. He's going to get a couple deep shot bombs. But I'm still at the place where Joanne Jennings is pretty close to must start.

He is for me, too. It's a tough matchup. You know, we've brought that up. The Bears, Stevenson is hopefully splitting duty with Debo and not just, you know, shadowing Joanne Jennings. So I worry this week on the matchup, but I believe Juan Jennings is going to be the wide receiver one for, you know, the Shanahan offense that will still score a lot of points. I mean, you know. They're not going to always play in the snow against the bills. And we'll get out of here on this one. People love to ask this question. That man, Devetchi, is it morally right to bench your players in week 14 to keep another team out of the playoffs? It is 100% not morally right. It is not ethically sound. You need to play your roster. Take morals out.

then what's the question is it okay is it i don't i don't should you do it if i don't think you should do it because there is league integrity for all players and all managers who are in the league yeah but you're looking out for number one i get that but you can't just look out for number one and do anything you want. I mean, it would be looking out for number one to just log into someone's account and, you know, drop that guy. Well, but that's, you have to steal passwords and stuff for that. Well, but where's the line is my point? You're controlling what you can control. That's an easy line for me. My line is that you can't bench, you just can't bench players and not have a active lineup. Like you have to, you have to have starters in your starting roster. That's, that is, that should be standard for all the league.

For all leagues, you have to feel the starting roster. Okay. What if you log in? This is a hypothetical situation. What happens if you log in last week and you see your opponent has put Brock Bowers on the bench? Oh, man. And started someone like, Gisicki? Yeah, yeah, something like that. Someone does that. Is it then appropriate? to take your good players out, because we are clearly talking about a race to the bottom here. Right. Two teams trying to... The last place versus the second to last place. Yeah. What is the appropriate response then? The appropriate response... No, no, no, take it back. What would you do? What would I do? Yeah. I would bring it to the attention of the league and make sure that that does not happen. Because the league should say... It's too late. I know it's too late. You know what I'm saying. It's too late. You notice on Saturday.

Game is done. Game is done? Yeah. Oh, man. What do you do? At that point, it's a fair fight to put in my crap players. At that point, if you've already done it and I'm scoring less than I, you know, I'm getting less against me than I should, you're going to eat some nasty boys. And I know this is not a hypothetical. Yeah, this may or may not have happened in a league that we are in. Yeah. Not us. Because our team is great. Oh, man. It's good. Do you think, just asking, is it possible that our shared team in Dino Jr. Mike can win a fourth championship? This year? This year. 100%. But that would be four of the last five. Yeah. That is unprecedented. Has that ever happened in Dynasty football? Probably not. Probably will, though. I cannot wait.
