113 passagesfrom your favorite sports athletes out there, get the signed jerseys. We always are decking out the studio here with pristine auction, like our signed Jordan Reed. We got to get David Johnson back up on the wall. In our newsletter yesterday, we actually let it drop that we're moving to a different studio space. And that studio space will be defined by the amount of pristine auction gear that we have on the wall to make it look great. Look, we're telling you, I am Mike Wright. I am telling you.
If you have not been, go to pristineauction.com, P-R-I-S-T-I-N-E-Oction.com, make a completely free account. When you do that, they're going to say, hey, who sent you? You say, hey, the fantasy footballers sent me. And then just have yourself a grand old time browsing the wares that you can possibly get. If you talk like that, you need to say that Mike sent you. Don't put me in Jason in there. All right. All right. What's the next question? We're going to get back to the games. We're going to move on to some running backs. So running backs who are producing some high.
Yardish. I'm thinking RBs. Among the top 10 running backs in attempts, three RBs have a yards per carry of 5.0 or greater. So guys that are getting the ball all the time, yet still producing at a very high level. Wait, okay, hold on the top. Say that again, because like many people who were maybe driving and distracted, uh, I didn't hear anything you said. So it's possible. You are the worst. I know. All right.
Top 10 running backs in terms of rushing attempts. Okay. Three of them have a yard per carry of five or greater. I'm going to go to Marco. That is incorrect. Yeah, I thought about him and then I rethought about him. I'm going. I'm definitely going to Ezekiel Elliott and David Johnson. Yeah. That is correct. Ezekiel Elliott, David Johnson. Elliot is at Gurley's definitely not. Lamar Miller's not. Shady McCoy. Yeah. So Ezekiel Elliott.
is at 5.1. David Johnson is at 5.0. And Shady McCoy is at 5.6. Now, obviously, Elliot's heading into the buy this week. He's currently leading the league in yardage. By a lot. 703 to 587. By a lot. Yeah. So anyways, what's the next one? Elliot has been a monster. Okay. Among the top 10 running backs in attempts. So same category. One of them has a yard per carry under three. It has to be. It's got to be Gurley or Gordon.
It's Todd Gurley. Todd Gurley is averaging 2.9 yards per carry, and I have a little side note here that says, Legeritt Blunt on the same carry total as Todd Gurley, that's 119 carries, has 93 more yards. You know what kills you is when you look at Gurley, 119 for 346, and you look at Elliott 137 for 703.
Do you want to know something interesting about... Mistakes were made. Something interesting about Todd Gurley and his low yards per carry number. His percentage of his yards that come after contact are near the top as league leaders. So he's doing what he can do. He's doing what he can do. It's not his fault. He's still just as talented, but goodness gracious, get your offensive line together. This is not meant to disparage the man of Todd Gurley. Love the talent. Just do not like the situation.
All right. Among running backs with at least 100 carries, these three running backs have less than 400 yards rushing. So they've touched the ball 100 times, but they still don't have 400 yards rushing. Well, Gurley's one of them. Gurley is one of them. Yeah. Is Lamar Miller in there or did he get himself out? Lamar Miller is not in this list. I think Melvin Gordon's in there. Melvin Gordon is indeed. Because his yards per carry wasn't very high either. In the list.
Um, C.J. Anderson. Nope. I'll give you the hints. We have pumped the brakes on this. Oh, Forte. Matt Forte. Todd Gurley, Gordon and Matt Forte have at least 100 carries and are under 400 yards. Interesting. And I had the, uh, to go. I, man. Sorry, I'm not trying to pile it on Todd Gurley here, but just, I was trying to find interesting tidbits here. Tell me what you hate about him. So among, among the top 20 running backs and attempts, only Todd Gurley and DeAngelo Williams do not have a run of over 20 yards.
So Todd Gurley, big play from last year is not getting his big plays this year. They'll come. They will come. All right. I'm going to talk about quarterbacks. And are these quarterbacks being protected? Being protected. If you add together the sack totals of Derek Carr, Kirk Cousins, and Drew Breeze, it equals the number of sacks that this one quarterback has already taken. Ooh. Andrew Luck.
Andrew Luck is correct. Wow. He has been sacked 23 times already. Car cousins and Breeze. Wow. Have been sacked a combined total of one Andrew Luck. That is, that is painful to hear. Yes, poor Andrew Luck. All right. Let's talk some volume. This quarterback has the most passing attempts by 27 attempts. I actually know this answer. Okay. Well, then we'll let Jason go. Yeah. I'll like you. I actually know this answer. I think I do.
All right. Hmm. Who was throwing the ball far more than anyone else? The person who comes to mind would be met. Here's a hint. He did it last year too. Matt Stafford? No. Good old Joe. Right? Am I right? Oh, get out of here. Joe Flacco again? Joe Flacco, which I have more completions than anybody by about 15. So here's the thing about Joe Flacco. I think we have gotten to the point where we've seen the volume.
It's just not happened for fantasy for Joe Flacco. And it won't ever. Yeah. That is very unfortunate. All right. Among the top 10 quarterbacks in passing yards, passing top 10 passing yards, three quarterbacks have under 10 passing touchdowns. So they are getting tons of yardage, but they still have under 10 touchdowns. I'm going to get, I'm going to guess. Cousins?
Cousins is in the list. He is number six in total yardage. He has nine touchdowns. Dalton? Dalton's got any one. Andy Dalton is number three in yardage. Whenever you see those guys and you're like patting yourself on the back going like, you know, he's still putting up the yards. Those are the, you know, we said that about Cousins, Dalton. Last year's Matt Ryan. Um, so Cousins is not there. No, Cousins is there. You got Cousins and Dalton. You have one. Right, right, right. One more name. And that, and why I'm bringing these guys up is.
They're in the top 10 in yardage. We need some positive regression here from the touchdown area. I feel like it has to be Eli Manning. It's Eli. Eli Manning is number two in the league in yardage with 1788 yards and only eight touchdowns. Do you expect positive regression from him? I do. You just saw O'Dell Beckham get in the end zone a couple times changes the entire week. Yeah, I expect positive regression actually from all of them. Andy Dalton, number three in yardage has six touchdowns. He is.
I believe my number two quarterback this week. All right. And last one of the game among the top quarterbacks. Oh, no. Oh, you did. Did I? Yeah, you did. All right. You paid for Andy Dalton in our league of record. I was going to say, I made an important note because he's taken on the Browns. I just got a note that I think he made for himself. It says trade Jason for Dalton.
Yes. Andy Dolls is a good play this week. Don't rip it up. Oh, I was just supposed to remind you to train to me. Final question. Final question out there, Footland. I hope you've been playing along. Among the top quarterbacks and passing yards. Only one, much like the Highlander. Only one quarterback has under three interceptions. Top ten in passing yards. Only one has under three. Oh. Wait. It's not Dak because that doesn't have that many yards. That's what I was wondering because. Nope. It is not Dak.
um deck is not top 10 in yards i will take the shot of matt ryan it is not matt right we'll give you one guest jason then we will move on if it's not matt ryan how about philip river i bet you's the guy that's on the name it is the aforementioned andy dalton ah yes andy dalton number three in yardage
With 17757 yards, only six touchdowns. Positive regression for Andy. But only two interceptions. Andy Dalton is playing great football. Look, Jason, hold on in a second. Everybody just, hold on. Jason, you have Drew Breeze. I sure do. You signed Andy Dalton to keep him away from your opponent. Nope. You've signed him to play him over Drew Breeze. I am playing him over Drew Breeze this week. I am playing him over Drew Breeze next week. Oh, my goodness. And I am playing him over Drew Breeze in week 10.
I believe that is his buyer whenever. There's three out of the next four weeks. Andy Dalton will be playing over Drew Breeze. I paid up for him because his schedule matched perfectly with my. So I'm not getting him from you. With Drew Breeze road games? Yeah, exactly. Well, road games and home games against Denver and Seattle. All right. Let's preview the Thursday night game and then jump right into the listener mailback. Thursday game, the Bears, the Packers. Hmm.
This game's in Lambo, and I'm very curious of how this game ends up. This game is extremely interesting. There was also some more news where that's Mike McCarthy has said that Demarius Randall and Quentin Rollins will be hard pressed to play Thursday night. Sam Shields is on IRR. The Green Bay Packers are depleted. Cameron Meredith. In the secondary. Does that change? I know you've been debating James Winston or Brian Hoyer. It has.
Does it have you shaking in your... Yes, I was... Hoyer boots? I was leaning. You know, I have that tilt towards Winston, and then this news is getting in my head. Absolutely. You have Brian Hoyer, who has started four games, has been over 300 yards every single time. And another funny stat I had come across during my game search. Brian Hoyer has basically played four and a half games. What was it? 200 yards?
I need to bet it, but he has about 200 yards more than Aaron Rogers. Yeah, that's, that's things like that, uh, make you throw up a little bit. Also, also Brian Hoyer's four, uh, 300 yard games in four games. Jay Cutler has, uh, four 300 yard games in his last 20. So I think smoking Jay Cuddy is not getting his job back. Keep this job. But yeah, it's, it's definitely.
Yeah, I'm very confused. I'm very confused. At least I have another day to make this decision. So let's move on to the other guys. So you got Howard, right? We saw his snap percentage go down with Khadim Karee returning. Apparently Kadeem, though, is not practicing. I think it's important for people to understand when we've said that three or four times. Snap percentage going down is because it went down from like 98.8% of snaps to a normal starting running backs snaps. And if you looked at the crucial part of that game,
It was 90% Jordan. This was, you know, C.J. Anderson and Booker level. Jordan Howard is still the man. He is still the man. Now, he wasn't, I mean, one of the reasons that Kerry got on the field is because Howard wasn't very efficient last game. I mean, he was 15 for 34. So I expect a healthy carry to take the carries pretty much like he did last week. I'm just not looking at it like a competition. I'm looking at it like a normal.
I think this game for the running backs for Chicago is going to come down to the passing game and whether or not Jordan Howard gets heavily involved. I don't expect Jordan Howard to have a very productive game against the Green Bay rushing defense. I know that they were a little bit of a facade. We talked about that before last week. I mean, they've given up 18, 14, 15, and 22 to running backs, but the rank number one. Hmm. Hmm.
So, so going Zeke last week. Right. Zeke last week was great. I, you know, Jordan Howard to me, he's an RB2 this week. I'm still going to start him. He's the starter for the team. But I don't see him as, you know, a lot of times over the last few weeks, I've had him in the top eight running backs. I don't see it this week. And the Bears wide receivers are averaging over 17 receptions a game. That's second in the league. That's on the heels of Brian Hoyer's recent success. These wide receivers are must starts.
The Packers gave up 45 and a half points to wide receivers last week. They're 29th in the league against fantasy, for points given up to fantasy wide receivers. They've given up eight touchdowns in four weeks to wide receivers. And you have Target Monster right now, Cameron Meredith and Alshon Jeffrey, primed in a game that, you know, this game should be, what's over under on? 46.
Okay. What's the prediction here? Is that Green Bay is going to win by nine. Do you buy in? No. I do. I do not. And we also, we have a fun bet in the studio here that I have, I think that the Bears are a sneaky DST play this week with the Green Bay Packers. The only option they have is the pass. The strength of the Chicago Bears is their passing defense. So I think that they're a little bit sneaky. What's the bet?
