Vermont snow opens trademarked Yeti season
A listener confirms snow on the ground in Vermont as of November 1, officially opening Yeti season. The hosts explain for newcomers that multiple years of scientific method have established the Snow Model: when Vermont gets snow, Derrick Henry goes bananas. The model is explicitly called trademarked, and Mike is later identified as very pro-Yeti.
moment
Arizona adds a World Series to fifteen years of suffering
The hosts declare Jason's joking lifetime baseball fandom over after Arizona loses the World Series. Jason says Arizona fans have now lost a Super Bowl, NBA Finals, and World Series within 15 years; he tries to comfort himself with the Rangers' first title and happy opposing children, but it does not help his weeping son.
moment
A three-dollar Banana Rama becomes the League of Record enemy
Immediately after waivers, an unnamed host learns that his League of Record opponent spent $3 on Will Levis to start against him that night because both regular quarterbacks are on bye. The pickup makes the host unexpectedly root against Levis and declare himself super anti-Banana Rama, even while Mike remains very pro-Yeti for Derrick Henry in the same game.
moment
Jahan Dotson is the actor whose scene always cuts away
Dotson's constant routes but disappearing production become a season-long movie role. He is in almost every scene yet so good in background costume that no one notices him; whenever he tries to speak, the film cuts to somebody else, and sometimes he fumbles the line.
moment
Michael Thomas's low ceiling loses the whole room
Michael Thomas is imagined promising exactly eight or nine points inside his seven-to-eleven-point window. The hosts try to turn that floor and ceiling into a reliable restaurant, then a half-basement apartment with a low roof, but admit the comparison is stretched and everyone in the room is lost. The explanation finally becomes simply 'the ceiling is low' while Andy reports that Deucer's Alley looks desperate not to be asked for help; the tangent then detours into whether Phoenix counts as a big city.
moment
Zach Moss graduates from Titanium Underpants to Donald Duck
Mac Jones's desperate Start of the Week requires Titanium Underpants for protection. The next running-back pick, Zach Moss, is judged so safe that the hosts say titanium and steel are no longer needed; he may need no underpants at all, then no pants, and can simply Donald Duck it.
moment
Boom Boom jail breaks Blake Grupe's 156-pound back
Jason's ironclad, locked-and-loaded, 100-percent-guaranteed Boom Boom Kicker continues from last week's trial: a trick judge and magistrate jail him, inmates fling poopie, and Jason becomes Bane to shatter Blake Grupe's back. The hosts celebrate poopie/Grupe while noting Jason also rhymed man with man; research then reveals the 156-pound Grupe is the NFL's lightest kicker in 35 years and therefore an easy back to break.
moment
Fantasy Faceoff mummy face becomes the hostage
Mike announces his first-place Fantasy Faceoff result while Jason says he lost and asks whether he will get mummy face tomorrow. The hosts clarify that doing it right means duct tape over the mouth and rename the look the hostage. They recall that Mike's prior live mummy wrap left his nose ajar for three or four days before it came back and was set. Direct video confirms Mike delivers the cold-open facial-hair apology, but the dialogue only suggests rather than proves that it shares the wrap's cause.

Episode notes
A listener photograph confirms snow on the ground in Vermont as of November 1, so Yeti season is declared open under the trademarked Derrick Henry Snow Model: through the scientific method, Vermont snow means Henry goes bananas. The celebration collides with the League of Record, where an unnamed host's opponent spends $3 on Will Levis to start that night, unexpectedly forcing the host to become anti-Banana Rama while Mike remains emphatically pro-Yeti. Before football, Jason's supposed lifetime baseball fandom ends with Arizona's World Series loss; he says the state's fans have now lost a Super Bowl, NBA Finals, and World Series within 15 years, and even remembering happy Rangers children cannot comfort his weeping son. During the matchup breakdown, Demario Douglas receives the Dirty Pop cue, while Jahan Dotson becomes a brilliant background actor who appears in every scene but disappears in costume and has the film cut away whenever he tries to speak. Michael Thomas's reliable seven-to-eleven-point window turns into a failed low-ceiling basement-restaurant analogy; the whole room gets lost, and Andy says Deucer's Alley looks desperate not to be consulted before Phoenix's fifth-largest-city status is debated. The Start of the Week confidence scale gives risky Mac Jones Titanium Underpants, then declares Zach Moss safe enough to need neither underpants nor pants—he can Donald Duck it. Jason's ironclad Boom Boom Kicker serial continues from a trick trial into jail, where inmates fling poopie and Jason breaks Saints kicker Blake Grupe's back like Bane; the rhyme audit catches both poopie/Grupe and man/man, and live research notes Grupe is the NFL's lightest kicker in 35 years at 156 pounds. Mike wins Fantasy Faceoff while Jason loses and asks whether he will receive mummy face; the punishment is reframed as duct tape over the mouth called the hostage. The prior live mummy wrap had left Mike's nose ajar for three or four days, and direct video confirms that Mike opens this episode by apologizing that his facial hair has not returned, although the dialogue does not explicitly prove the same cause. The close thanks Deucer's Alley, Judge, and Al the Rapscallion, while saying Al must be dressed up next year because the people were mad.
Yeah, I love the DAC start this week. If you are struggling and you need a middle tier quarterback that you could start, we talked about it on today's episode. Derek Carr is my start of the week. You could send in the car. Send in the car. Send in the car. Over the last month, Carr and the Saints have had a very high floor passing the ball. They are averaging 287 passing yards. per game. That is the fourth most in the NFL during that time. And the Bears have allowed the second most passing yards in the NFL. Fifth most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. The car is a fine play in a bad week. Titanium underpants. You're going to need some protection for this particular start. It is Mac Jones. And this is, look, some of it is Mac Jones playing better because he is over the last three weeks. He's completing 74% of his passes.
Pour one out for Kendrick Bourne. That stinks. But two passing touchdowns and back-to-back games, and it's all about the commanders. From worse to even worser, they were already allowing the third highest yards per attempt, and those two superstars are gone. I think that in this particular week, I hope you don't have to, but if you're desperate, I think that Mack Jones can give you at least a passable fantasy game. All right, my running back. You know, there was a time when titanium underpants, steel underpants were required. But I don't think they're required anymore. No, no. Zach Moss. You may, you may not need any underpants at all. You could go completely nude. I was going to say commando, but all right. No underpants, no pants. Donald Duck it.
He's not going away. He's the RB 7 in points per game. He's been a top 24 guy in all but one matchup when he plays Carolina. It's absolutely crazy. He leads all running backs, not named Devon A. Chan in rushing yards per game. That's more than Sequin and McCaffrey and Montgomery and Henry. And there was no world where that seemed possible. You play him against Carolina, 31st in Schedule adjusted fantasy points to running backs. I don't know if Jonathan Taylor's hurt or not. He says he's not. He was doing toe raises. It doesn't matter if he's, I mean, they were willing, if he's not hurt, they were willing to give Zach Moss the second half. If he is hurt, this is a fair point? Zach Moss is going to be fine. So play him. Is Ursay getting, is he like happy when these things are happening? What a weird revenge that would be. Here's all this money, but you're also not playing. Man, Zach Moss has been so good. I, I, I,
I got into the dock first, and I wanted to make Zach Moss my start of the week. But you're a man of high character. Yeah. And I also knew if I did, if I finally went in, I would curse him. The injury report so far for the Indianapolis Colts does not have Jonathan Taylor on it this week. So that does scare me a little bit. But if this week, Jonathan Taylor practices in full, and it's still 50-50, Then congrats Zach Moss managers. My start of the week at running back is Kareem Hunt. I'm rolling with it again from last week. Worked out well, despite Jerome Ford's miraculous returning from a high ankle sprain. Hunt saw 15 opportunities. The last three weeks has been the running back 10, 11, and 16.
He's just a solid running back. Even in an RBBC, he will have enough opportunities to beat the Arizona Cardinals at home in a highly favored game. Arizona last week, they went. They laid down in the middle of the road and then let the Gus bus just drive all over them. Yeah. And so, you know, the Cardinals, their 28th and scheduled adjusted fantasy points, the highest rate of rushing first downs in the NFL. Cream Hunt should be an easy play. And I'm going to go back to Chuba Hubbard because this time it will work for sure. 67% of the snaps last week. There was only two touches for Miles Sanders. And this is the best matchup for running back since week four. And the Colts, not only are they giving us a good matchup, but pace of play. They play fast. So we get a whole bunch of more opportunities. They've allowed 15 rushing touchdowns. That's the most in the NFL. And Chuba, despite last week, is number one.
in running backs in rush success rate. He's been playing very, very well this year. T. Higgins against Buffalo, my wide receiver start of the week. Oh, baby. Coming off the by. Oh, baby. Came back to life a little bit against San Francisco. You know, the matchup is Buffalo, who has been quietly destroyed through the air since the injuries they suffered. 29th in schedule adjusted fancy points allowed to whiteouts and must start a confidence play. Somebody that might carry you this week, T. Higgins. Yeah, I love Higgins this week. At wide receiver for me, my start of the week is going to be Rushie Rice. I believe he's on a lot of benches. I think he should be in flex consideration as a starter this week. You might not want to miss him in a game against the Dolphins. If the Dolphins can score and keep up, Rushi Rice could have a breakout game. There's a 50.5 point over under. Rice has actually been the wide receiver 23 over the last month. He's up to 60% of Kansas City Chief snaps.
He's being targeted on 26% of his routes, which is a great number. Four plus receptions and four straight weeks. He's had a reception of 15 plus yards in seven of eight games. And since week three, the dolphins are scheduled adjusted 29th against wide receivers. So the matchup is there. The snaps are starting to be there. The quarterback is there. Yeah, he's got that fluidity out there. You know, when he gets the ball in his hands, really good after the catch. You definitely see elite talent in that regard. I'm going Nico Collins. Oh, we're coming back. Red light, green light all year long. And we're on a green light week, everybody's stunning analysis. But the reason is he's home versus the bucks, which has actually been the third best matchup of the last month. He is averaging seven targets a week, 12.1 average depth of target. Those are juicy, juicy numbers. And he still ranks top five in...
qualifying wide receivers and yards per route run. I think this is a bounceback week for Nico. Taysam Hill against Chicago is my tight-in start of the week. Tassum keeps doing Tase-some things. He does. Tide-in 9, 5-1 in the last three weeks. It doesn't always come the same way. It's sometimes the running game, sometimes the passing game. Sometimes he shouldn't be out there, but he is. And, you know, the Saints, this is crazy, guys. 17-1. when Tayson Hill has seven, Tayson Hill has seven or more carries. 17 and 1. Causation or correlation. Who knows? Who knows? At Titan, start of the week for me this week, it's going to be a monstrous week for Dalton Kincaid. I absolutely love this matchup and love what we're, Dalton Kincaid, rookie tight-in. I tell you were a man of high character. For the Buffalo Bills. I am. Don Quincade's great. Don Quincade is a great player.
You know, we said, I said early. We said I said. We said I said you said. Early on in draft season that rookie tight ends are going to have good games, not necessarily be a good pick for the season. This is going to be a great game. When Dawson Knox went down, all of a sudden the bills, because they're good, well-run, you know. organization, they changed their scheme. They basically abandoned 12 personnel and went with the players they have, and Kincaid shot up to 84% of snaps. He was 5 for 61 and a touchdown on Thursday night. His 39 routes were the fourth most amongst tight ends last week, and the Bengals are dead last. They are the best matchup so far on the season adjusted for schedule against tight ends. It's an exploitable matchup where he's going to be on the field all the time. Kincaid is a smash play this week.
No question. I'm still kind of targeting him. Kincaid? In trade. Absolutely. With knocks out of the way, now he can be what people thought he would be to start the season. Go with Logan Thomas. It is not a sexy pick, but he's had a 17% target share over the last month. And the Pats, well, they've actually been the fourth best matchup for tight ends over that time period. Thomas is sitting at tight end seven and fantasy points per game. We're talking four receptions a game. And a lot of routes. The fourth most routes run per game amongst tight ends. So he's out there getting an opportunity. And Washington is going to have to sling the ball a little bit more. Thanks again to our sponsor, Purina ProPlan Sport. One more very important, well, questionably important segment. Jason Moore's Ironclad, locked and loaded, 100% guaranteed boom boom kicker of the week. Last week on boom boom kicker. We went on trial. The judge tricked me. Jailed by the magistrate, the inmates tried to seal my fate by ganging up and flinging their... poopie but like bane to batman i shattered a back man and there crumbled the saints blake groupie i rhymed poopie one of my favorites he also rhymed man with man one of my favorites as well yeah mike any thoughts any commentary i'm just gonna let that one sit there words for this one for the record uh blake groupie who's back i just broke yeah
Yeah, he weighs in at 156 pounds. Wow. That's an easy back to break. Yeah, lightest kicker in the NFL over the last 35 years. That's the kind of research you're looking for. Wow. Wow. Yeah, thank you. Thank you. That'll do it for today's episode of the fantasy footballers. Goodness gracious. Thank you for joining us. You can check out DFSpass.com. If you're going to play some DFS this weekend tomorrow, we'll have a little spin of the wheel. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah, it's not me. Not me either. I got first. Mike, you won this week. I got first. Yeah. First time for everything. And so fantasy face off tomorrow, more matchups. Some news. I mean, we got injuries that we are watching. In fact, Damien Pierce did not practice yet again. No. So Devon Singletary could have a huge opportunity this week. I'm wondering if there's a chance since Mike won and I lost. And last week he said, I'm going to remember this.
Am I getting mummy face tomorrow? It's just, it's just, it's just do it right, man. It's actually, it's just duct tape over your mouth. Yeah, it was, uh, I call it the hostage. Last week, last week, Mike's nose was in a, an a jar position. I'm for a long period of time. It was three or four days. It's back now. Yeah. It's come back. It's been set. No, it's, it's, it should be, it should be fun times for all right. All right. All right. And check out our Discord community over at BallersDiscord.com. Get involved there. The community.
