foot issue and he's been looking pretty good in practice and i don't think that they would have added him in free agency if they didn't intend to use him uh richard rogers i guess has lost a toddler's worth of weight from around his waist and is looking at a little faster um but his issue rogers's issue is that he is so slow but he has good hands cook is really fast but has had you know a history of drops so you fuse the two guys together can they make that happen

You could. You'd have a pro bowler, I think. But I think, you know, Cook has looked really good at camp. He's...

He has done this in the past and then disappeared and had horrible games and horrible seasons. But the thing you have to remember about Cook is that he has never played with a quarterback anywhere near the quality of Aaron Rogers. So his target quality is going to increase. The expectations are higher for him. And I'm thinking that if he's a little more focused, he's got the one-year deal, I believe. So he's an approved deal. There's a lot of money in the line for him if he comes out.

The key for him is does he play starter snaps? And if he does, I think he'll end up with fringe TE1 type numbers. Jared Cook's my favorite player to draft, play week one, and then trade away. That's my absolute favorite. He seems to put up good week ones. I remember that a couple years ago. So thank you so much for coming on the podcast. We appreciate your time.
