Maybe I like him a little bit more, but I'm not going, oh man, Robert Woods.

Two rounds earlier this year. No, I'll draft Robert Woods about the same place. That I would have drafted him if Jared Gough were there. There are a much better team. And I like to imagine, flipping over to the Detroit Lions.

This hasn't happened. This is just, you know, a daydream that I played out of my head. I like to imagine that Kenny Goliday was at the table with his contract in front of him. Licked the pen. Oh, yeah. And he's just about to sign this. And then they just said, oh, by the way. And then his agent, like, goes, hold on as he's getting the tweets that Stafford was traded and they just tear it up. Because Kenny Galday is not coming back to Detroit, ladies and gentlemen, unless they give him the most money a wide receiver has ever seen in his life.

No, they're in full rebuild. I mean, this is the, it's nothing Detroit fans don't know, but there's a basement with your name on it. I mean, that division is waiting to be, and that's why you gave a six-year deal to Dan Campbell because Dan Campbell walked in and said, I'm going to need two years to get this thing, the engine started. He's super into Jared Goff's kneecaps. They're very strong. Here's the thing. Jared Goff is the Detroit Lions starter for the next two years.

because the money says he has to be. All right. No other big news to talk about other than the fact that Deshaun Watson has formally requested a trade. Apparently fantasy football and NFL football are becoming closer related here with quarterback movement and trades and offseason interest in trades. We were talking before the show about, you know, San Francisco wants a change at quarterback. And I can't imagine this trade.

in division of Matthew Stafford doesn't further motivate them to fix that problem because that's the big problem that they have. They'll get a bunch of, you know, Nick Bosa and defensive pieces back next year. They're interested. There was talk of, oh, it's Kirk Cousins available to maybe come back with Kyle Shanahan. Well, Deshaun Watson's formally requested a trade and all signs point to him getting moved for the trade package to get Deshaun Watson is going to be record-breaking.

That's the problem is did this reset the market for how many first round picks you would actually have to give up to get Deshawn Watson? Or do the NFL teams realize, okay, well, part of that, part of the reason that the Rams had to give so many picks away is so that they could send the contract away. I don't know if Watson gets traded.

At this point, because the Houston Texans are going to clamp down and say, we want at least three first round picks. We want a defensive starter included. I mean, they're going to want so much, as they should, if you're going to trade away. I mean, like, if you're just spitballing off the top of your head, where is Deshaun Watson right now in terms of franchise quarterbacks? Top five? Top five.

I mean, those types, he might be in the, but top eight, whatever, you guarantee you have a top eight type of a franchise quarterback right now. You can't just trade those guys away for nothing. So I lean on the side that, and this tape could age poorly, but right now I lean that Watson's not going to get traded. I think he'll get moved. That's what do you think, Jay? I think he's going to get moved. I think these teams are going to bring the heat when it comes to getting that franchise quarterback, whether it's Washington or whether it's.

The Jets, Miami. I just don't think a team can actually give up the amount of it. The Rams don't care. The Rams don't want their first round picks ever. Let me ask you this, though. Go from these teams can to should they? Yes, of course. Do you think that a team should, let me just make a scenario. You're Miami. Should you trade two first, three seconds for Deshaun Watson? That offer right there. Should you do that? Yes. So we disagree. Yeah.

I would be willing to do that. I don't think it will take three first, two and three seconds, so you negotiate from there. But I, you've got a great, it'll be close to that. You have a great defense and you have a surplus of assets. It's not just your average team where you have one first, one second, one third for the next three years. You've got a ton of assets from the tank job you did. That was so that you could go and spend up to get something like this. If you put Deshaun Watson on that team last year,

They are, you know, maybe playing football right now. The Detroit Lions have just acquired Deshaun Watson in exchange for Jared Gough. That's not true. Yeah, I mean, it's just going to be interesting because there's the fallout. And we'll, you know, is why we have a year-round show is because interesting things happen all the time in the off season. But the fallout of all these deals, I'm trying to think ahead of.

Denver, right? Like if Deshaun Watson landed in Denver. That'd be spectacular. Cortland Sutton, Jerry Judy, Noah Fant, what is the implication there? Like there are some bets you could make. Like a player like Cortland Sutton, young, talented, regardless of his quarterback, he's a player that will contribute to your dynasty team, right? Right. But is he, does he have a 10% chance of also having a huge upgrade? Like there are players out there where you can look at this, Terry McLaren maybe, or, you know, other situations where you're like,

Denzel Mims. Like, if the quarterback changes, these players skyrocketed. Are the Jets still sitting at the favorites? According to Vegas. Yeah, that's what I mean. Good games is 12 or more, and bust games is eight or less. So one point at the wide receiver position as we get things kicked off, major resurgence in wide receiver scoring this past year in 2020. The most total receptions, yards, touchdowns, and fantasy points since ever. Wow.

That's records at all of those numbers, receptions, yards, touchdowns, fantasy points. That's a good year for the position. And honestly, it's not a surprising.

year to have that happen. We knew for a long time that this was an incredible rookie draft class. So when you have a handful of immediate contributors added to the league while all the other, you know, the Calvin Ridley's take their step forward in time and the rookies come in and the Justin Jeffersons and C.D. Higgins's, you know, really helps the overall numbers. Well, and the fact that there was no offseason, no training camp. I mean, you go back to when the lockout almost happened, we saw record performances on the offensive side that time. Well, I think there's a lot to it. I mean, clearly the officials had a different level of, you know, they weren't calling as much, not as many holding penalties, just until the very end of, uh,

the very end of the playoff game. That's correct. 586 more wide receiver receptions and 55 more touchdowns than last year. And number one, number one overall, number two inconsistency. Devante Adams, 148 targets, 115 receptions, 13174 yards, 18 touchdowns. And 79% of the time was good, 57% great, and just a 14%.

bust rate for Mr. Devante Adams. And we don't hold injury games where they already missed the whole game against him. And he did then in, what, 13 and a half games? Isn't that considered an Adam season? Isn't that about normal? Yeah. What's incredible is you remember how great, you know, how absolutely incredible Michael Thomas was the year prior. Devante Adams outscored him.
