still insist i said shoot but but it's in debate i've never been publicly warned like i guess like we could have given up a point or something um but yeah i don't know oh good good get out of here i know but so back to josh yeah he's going 411 right now almost in the fifth round in certain certain leagues but even still the look he has he has been solid like at the end of the year i mean he's been a top 20 running back each of his three years running back eight in 2020 the pass catching like the receptions

were finally there this past year but now you have a whole new scheme you have a whole new system here and josh mcdaniels is bringing probably that patriot running back system over here and i mean didn't we have recently a uh reporter was saying they'll probably rebuild the whole like be very very careful for fantasy football because they're going to have the specialized situations for all of these running backs i mean of all of them jacob's profiles as as the the goal line running back so like brooks you're talking about your hope is that the scoring opportunities are there then jacobs is in play for me but with

kenyan drake is looks like he is back they've made some other additions for the into the running back room like they brought brandon bolden over there with them i know but i i drafted samir white i lean on the some of that stuff's gonna end up smoke because josh jacobs was a 64 target running back last year he's good in that aspect of the game we've begged for it for years he's never not been a top 20 running back yeah and you start looking you know you you started talking about specialization i'm starting to think of you know josh jacobs and where is um where's antonio

gibson going in drafts where's what's his adp kyle do you have it right around there right around the same spot so i mean when you look at that which guy do you lean which direction do you lean where gibson's probably a first and second down guy he's been dealt with more injuries than jacobs has and the offense in las vegas should be much better than it is in washington where do you lean between those two players it's it's it's really tough because when you bring those two names up i i lean towards gibson just naturally wanting the um youth the more supreme athlete they're

they're they're both uh decently youthful although it does feel different but when you're decently youthful [Laughter] when you're lazy you're decent you're decent on the youth side when you lay out the two situations and you say okay well antonio gibson has really been a touchdown guy uh that's where his same age by the way they're both exactly youthful they're decently they're decently youthful um the you know the situation who's gonna catch more passes it's almost certainly gonna be josh jacobs who gets more touchdown opportunity that could be a coin flip between them um so i you know it's it's funny because i don't look at those guys

with the same outlook like uh just you know my optimism but i think josh jacobs might be a better pick that being said this is the area of drafts where i'm generally not drafting running backs because there's great wide receivers and there's these question mark running backs where you could go okay well he's always been you know a top 20 guy but i don't think he's going to contin continue an upward trajectory in receiving when you add devante adams and have darren waller healthy and you know last year we just talked about you you lose rugs you don't have darren waller

hunter renfro's your main guy well of course josh jacobs got more passes right no it's fair and he was he was the rb-14 last year and he missed two full games so he had a good season um he's being drafted at rb23 so first i haven't broken higher than that so yeah i guess okay adp wise on man but i mean those running back in the dead zone in that fourth round it historically is doesn't work out very well for most of those running backs are you in on darren waller in the fourth round yes okay uh jason has more of a maybe not

yeah i do think he's going to maybe not face it it is a maybe not i i do think darren waller will be very good he's he's my tight end six right now i think he'll have enough uh receptions i don't want to take a guy who doesn't have a chance to be the difference maker at that position in the fourth fifth round like when i'm taking one of those high-end tight ends i want a guy that i think could finish the years of the tight end one and i i don't think darren waller could do that with devonta adams on the team so i

would rather go late round but that's not saying i think he's gonna have a bad season i just don't think he's got the upside worthy of his draft capital the chargers were 9-8 last year they hit their projected uh vegas win total from 2021. it's up to 10 this year for los angeles and uh there's a lot of continuity uh the head coach the offensive coordinator the wide receivers the running backs they're all back the offensive line improved they want to protect their gym what if they don't win this year i mean this is a tv games no i'm just saying like this is a team

that last year was everybody and you got to tour everybody's dark horse you know super bowl sure pick they're going to be people's super bowl pick again this year and they've got the great next big thing in justin herbert but it's a tough division if they don't make the playoffs again yeah there's some stagnation issue there um but we're not gonna talk about negatives here jason we're gonna talk about positives they're gonna win the super bowl second and pace of play fifth and points per game fourth in total yards third in past attempts second in passing yards um juicy yeah

yeah staley is the hero we all deserve i mean justin herbert finished on fire he was the quarterback three had eight straight top 12 weeks in a row um he has the most completions attempts passing yards passing touchdowns for any quarterback through the first two years in the nfl uh he's completing i think as a rookie 66 of his passes last year right at that same number crazy he has been absolutely unstoppable and a delight for fantasy players and so you don't need us necessarily to tell you about the staples of this offense justin herbert great quarterback going in the late

third i don't really mind it that much um keenan allen mike williams oh man both great receivers in a great offense and austin eckler last year was the rb4 he had 20 red zone touchdowns yeah eight receiving touchdowns which she has in fact done before uh i would still bet against that eckler is i feel like austin ecuador is one of the hardest decisions of the first round to me because if if you get anything close to what he was last year you you've returned easily on on that first run pick and you were just so happy about it but

like comparing him and the volatility that i think could be there with the addition of isaiah spiller coming in the the chargers have with their actions have said they really want a compliment to austin ecuador they don't want it to be the situation it was last year and there's a lot of people that love spiller despite him being a day three pick but can like cooper cop justin jefferson like these guys are going to be high end locked in minimal risk how do you compare that to taking echler in the first round well it's a it's a fair question i think

there's some hesitation for people about it yes i have i've just and you said that with their actions the chargers you know went out and got isaiah spiller it's also their words they went out and talked about his versatility how often he was out there on third downs pass protection in college he was a player who on film i really loved but the draft capital brought pause about him those are the names i actually wanted to talk about was in particular the new additions isaiah spiller in the backfield josh palmer who even this morning a a news alert about him

establishing himself as the wide receiver iii we got it we got a best friend narrative going on and not not best friend but coffee and just donuts that he like he's always the one at the end of like trade practice is over he's out there repping with herbert okay well that's that's meaningless that's not breakfast no it's not it's got to be sharing a meal this has to be outside froyo this is where it starts though fellas your practice is over you're just you're getting some reps hey you want to uh go get some dude we should get some we should get a

smoothie oh yeah if they if they got to do that for three days in a row three smoothies you're on fire because it's got to be a routine yeah 100 cooper cup and stafford they were not getting breakfast once a week no that's that's they're doing everything together they they uh live next door to each other a lot of people don't know that now um so but then the other name i'm gonna throw gerald everett because i was setting a table for you all the new additions to this often so it was so powerful yep uh i love it let's keep on isiah spiller

for a second because he was a person that most all projections had him projected to go in the second round for most of the year his production was great in uh college i liked his film a lot andy did mike did not like his film quite as much um but he was someone that was projecting mike as a day three guy sure and and then he ran slow at the combine and that crushed his draft capital uh he plummeted in the draft but the fact that he is a a a bigger body three down back coming in i think they're going to use him uh a

good amount so this i don't view him as someone that is going to ruin austin eckler i don't think he's going to come in and take eight touchdowns away from eckler and eccles is going to be a bust of a first round pick i do view him as someone that could have a little bit of standalone value just because of how good this offense is if he ends up being the other main guy if they basically go to a two-back system and then obviously in this world of running back health should something happen to eckler isaiah spiller is interesting so as a 10th

round flyer in your double digit rounds i i'm fine drafting isaiah spiller even though i don't usually love day three nfl draft capital picks at running back yeah and i mean i can keep the question simple are any of the new arrivals or up-and-coming players outside of eckler keenan allen mike williams going to make a fantasy impact are you going to get value from gerald everett at the tight end position he is interesting if what's what's difficult for everett is that you have like three high-end known pass catching options between echler allen and williams but he checks some of the boxes of like what

you're looking for uh we know that the tight ends last year had a 21 target share uh it was cook last year right yeah jared cook last year and just i mean he was he was done gerald everett is not done he's he's like a a very gifted athlete and he not he's now tied to an offense that's going to have 40 plus passing touchdowns so he is he's one of the sneaky late round guys that i'm okay drafting yeah it's it's one of those so i talked about i i don't take waller just because of the sacrifice of the running back wide

receiver there um i've gone many drafts and used my last pick in the draft if kolka falls which some leaks he does i'd rather have come out sure i would too in you know in in most home leagues but he you know in underdog where you know we've talked about drafting maybe three late tight ends he is my highest exposure player right now 34.8 percent wow i i think the touchdowns come i don't know that you can necessarily easily in your home league project which week he's going to get touchdowns but he could you know dawson knox last year was

a late round guy who just caught a ton of touches and that's kind of what i could see happening for gerald everett i think it's a really good comparison with dawson knox there's an article on the website gerald a history of tight ends coming out of nowhere for fantasy you can check out if you want to read more about everett's upside um it's hard with gerald everett because he's not delivered on some pretty good offenses in the past uh there was optimism around you know russ last year too he's had a lot of letdown yeah i mean it's kind of the same as what jared

cook was doing for years i mean who was there tied in last year who currently i don't think has a job correct so we'll see i do like josh palmer but i think everett palmer spiller these are guys that are going to be intermittently relevant for fantasy uh i think we as a trifecta are highest in the industry on mike williams as a whole i think he can end up definitely a top 10 wide receiver this year he made he's not just a big play guy anymore he does have those but his average depth of target he was a much better intermediate

route runner last year he was a much more reliable third down target he did have a tale of two seasons really he came and and set a standard for himself that was unmatchable for the record there was that and just the way that they were using him in play calling was they changed it up in the middle of the season i'd so maybe they'll go back to where he was having such success but i he will have ebbs and flows absolutely but i think you'll be at his adp i'm i'm all in yeah and what happened last year too with mike

williams was he came out made a statement for fantasy and then he dealt with some injuries that were limiting him they weren't taking him off the field but it was limiting him and you didn't see consistency until the end of the year when he came up big in big games again that amazing shootout with the las vegas raiders um i think you're gonna see they came out and they said hey we're gonna give you a pile of money exactly for three years and make you a an important part of the offense i forgot he had 17 targets yeah i'd like that every week please this is

he's dr i draft him almost every single time i'm in a draft because i just have him finishing much higher than where he's being yep taken uh the broncos were dead last in the division but at a you know not so bad seven and ten they came into the season with an eight and a half uh projected win total but uh drew couldn't lock that down and we ended up with uh you know seven wins they started the season three and oh but it was against the giants the jags and the jets which if i could play the three j's yeah that's big

column oh boy but it was not fun it was not fun launching the broncos last year this was 71 percent of the games hit the under it was bad football terrible offense yeah one week which evan is that was pretty fun 31st and pace of play mike 24th and pass attempts 23rd in points per game and none of it matters because they're coming into the season with a 10 game projected win total and a new quarterback none other than russell wilson unlimited what a dork i dude the tweet when i text you phone emoji that means we're dialed in like what

please don't tweet anymore where's his pr people don't he doesn't have money he fired them clearly well he hired himself he puts a hat on he's like let me ask my pr department he is the type of person that would absolutely put a different hat on like that like you joke but i'll bet he has got at least a spot in his house where he does this type of thinking swear i'ma do my tweets well he's unlimited in his skills and abilities and the truth is as fun as it is to poke fun and it's fun he brings a completely

new offense to the table in denver they are i mean we've said it for a year and a half the pieces that they were putting around their quarterback it was like yeah why not go to denver anybody that wanted out of where they're at why not go to denver and play with two outstanding running backs and javante williams and melvin gordon um you know a wide receiver room that's got cortland sutton who's a 6'4 behemoth uh jerry judy uh super talented young up and coming wide receiver tim patrick who all you know fireball jones it's ironic because he's just old

reliable really he's just such a reliable target and then you know kj handler if he gets involved at some point during this season as a burner you got good tight ends alberta goebbenham greg golsich it's all there for russell wilson and he's been in the kitchen ooh we're getting ready to cook man yeah so this is the russell wilson story to me that's what that's where my fantasy focus really is it's on russell wilson and what that ceiling could really be he's drafted as the qb9 right that seems like the pick like russ is starting to stand out as the quarterback pick in fantasy
