Week 15 Matchups, In-or-Out, #BenchEmAll

Like he, you know, you go back last week, the week before, the week before. He's never on the injury report. So he actually missed a practice he usually plays through. So he's a little banged up in this, you know, you're still going to play him. But he will probably cede a few more carries to Chase Edmonds is my. That's your gut. All right. Isaiah Crowell? Ruled out. He's already done. Elijah McGuire will be the starter. LaShawn McCoy, enter out.

He returned to practice, but he is limited. I think he plays because he usually plays through injury. Matt Berita, limited in practice. He's been a machine playing through injury as well. I think he'll get back out there. Not a lot of people talking about Matt Berita. No, because, you know, Jeff Wilson Jr. is so tantalizing. No, Matt Berita should be, if he's back out there, I realize it's the San Francisco 49ers, but I still think you could probably play him in a flex position. Carry on Johnson? Not practicing. He's going to be out again.

What's the latest on Odell Beckham Jr., Jason? Oh, man. Why don't you, Phyllisand? You are the Odell Beckham Jr. owner who there's been a lot of reports out that we're not going to find out until Sunday, right? According to the team, and it's not right and is doing better. Yeah, I mean, he said that he would probably be a game-time decision. He's the early game, but I'm really hoping to find out before then. I'm going to put in a formal request. Mm-hmm.

But right now it's a struggle for me. I would love to play Robbie Anderson if I knew Beckham was going to be out. Robbie Anderson plays on the Saturday night game. I may have to pivot. I may have to go get a guy like Mohamed Sanu. Somebody else to be my game time decision guy with O'Dell Beckin. Because you don't want to lose with Beckham on your bench. T.Y. Hilton? No practice, Wednesday or Thursday, but he did this last week. He will play. He did this last week and had 199 receiving yards. Doug Baldwin. Didn't practice on Wednesday. Limited Thursday. He usually plays through injury, but didn't last week. I think against the 49ers, they don't really need him, and they are in the playoff hunt. So I think he sits. Okay. What about Marquis Goodwin, Dante Pettis, both on the injury report?

Both added to the report on Thursday. So this is one we're going to want to watch the practice report today. I've got Pettis currently in my lineup and dynasty. And I am not happy about this. So Goodwin was a calf. Dante Pettis was his foot. Yuck. Just keep monitoring. I couldn't tell you right now. Quincy and Nunewald ruled out. Josh Doxton, concussion, not practicing in or out. What do you think? If he's not practicing right now, he's not progressing through it. And I would expect he is not cleared by game time.

All right, Austin Hooper, Jordan Reed. Austin Hooper has not been practicing at all. I think he misses this game. Another reason why you might like Sunoo. Right. Mitch Trubisky did not look great last week and his return from injury, but they got it done. And ultimately, that was on the back of a great, amazing, wonderful defense. How do you see this one playing out that Bears are dominating right now on defense? The quarterback.

Their third against quarterback, first against running back, ninth against tight end. What do you think is going to happen in this one? They just shut down the best offense in the league, statistically speaking, last week, and that was in Chicago. This game again in Chicago, the Green Bay Packers are reeling. Aaron Rogers is not playing up to his usual potential. Maybe it's because of the weapons, but it's whatever the reason is, it's still there. So I expect, look.

You're going to be able to play Aaron Rogers if you need to. I don't have them. I have like 17. Yeah, I was going to say. I don't have them as a top 10 quarterback this week. But most people want to know whether they can pivot, though, to a Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson. I would, I would be willing to pivot. I mean, Lamar Jackson. If I had Lamar Jackson and Aaron Rogers, there's no doubt I'd play Lamar Jackson. Right. Yeah. That.

as would I. Now, Mitch Trubisky in the same game at home, do you have more confidence in Trubisky than Rogers? I do right now, and this is based on the home road and defensive matchup. The fact that you've got Trubisky at home against a beatable Green Bay defense versus Aaron Rogers on the road against seemingly unbeatable defense, I would put Mitchell Trubisky ahead of Aaron Rogers.

All right. What kind of game are you expecting from running back Aaron Jones? Right now he's our consensus running back 18. He had 20 touches last week. But the Bears are only allowing 64 rushing yards per game, which is number one in the NFL at home. So I worry about Aaron Jones in this matchup. Not that you can't play him, but certainly what we saw to start last week was, well, it wasn't Aaron Jones. It was Jamal Williams out there. And that was the first week.

with Mike McCarthy gone. So I think there's got to be worry about the volume. Like, it's not guaranteed that he is the lead back we saw a couple weeks ago taking 80% of the volume, right? Would you agree with that that it's not guaranteed? Well, certainly there's some question marks with Philbin under, you know, at the head coaching position for one game and then you face the Bears. I like where we have them ranked. I feel very, I feel like you got to play him probably, but.

If you're playing an opponent in your fantasy matchup that you need boom from, it's probably not coming from Aaron Jones in this game. Yeah, I mean, I've got him behind Mark Ingraham, behind Tariq Cohen, behind Lamar Miller. You know, I'm not going to play Aaron Jones as a guaranteed must start this week. But he is very talented. The Chicago Bears on the season, they give up the fewest fantasy points to running backs over the last six weeks. They've been number seven. Okay.

The must start on Green Bay is always Devante Adams. He's pushing for the number one spot in fantasy and has a good chance of getting it this week with Tyreek Hill not being great yesterday. He has a touchdown in three straight games against Chicago playing with confidence. Yes. Because he's Devante Adams. And when push comes to shove, whenever Aaron Rogers is up against it, he just goes to Devante Adams more. Is there a wide receiver in the league more guaranteed of a touchdown on a usual basis than Aaron?

I don't care about a dollar. Name me a St. Brown for a glory play. Tariq Cohen has been playing out of his mind, double digit touches in five straight games. Questions about Tarek, Alan Robinson, Jordan Howard, Taylor, Gabriel, and Trey Pupu. I just don't like Turok, the dinosaur. I love him. I am the dinosaur.

That he's hunting? And Turok Cohen has hunted me down because I'm and here's why. This is purely selfish. He's an unbelievable player and I love watching him. I love everything about him on the field other than like I traded for Jordan Howard and I like Jordan Howard. Just pure unadulter. Yes, 100%. No, he's a great option. What kind of dinosaur would you be? If he's hunting you down. Well, I wouldn't be a raptor. They're fast and nimble and smaller. Sure, sure.

Uh, I feel like I'm more of a Brontosaurus. No, I'm going to go with my favorite. I'm going to go with a triceratops. Oh, okay. You know, it's like I'm Hulkie. Yeah. Uh, you're going to have a hard time getting me off. You have an armored crest. Yes, you're going to have a hard time getting me off my spot. Right. Yeah. And I'll stab you. That's about how you play flag football in our league exactly like a triceratops would. Yeah. With three knives.

With three nine. Yeah, your open field speed, much like a triceraton. Yeah. Your tail. All right. Can you start Jordan Howard as an RB2? He's the consensus RB 27 right on the fringe right now. But the last two weeks, 17 for 80, 20 for 103, not a player who, look, we poop on him a little bit because he's been bad.
