Yeah, I mean, I obviously the last mock draft we did, I shocked the world because I'm on Damian Harris now. The changes that have been made shipping out Sony and the fact that I don't think Cam Newton's going to play that many games this season says to me that Damien Harris should be a really, really good value. I'm not sure I would take him over James Robinson, but those other running backs you mentioned. Well, James Robinson is going in the sixth as running back 25, probably even higher as his ADP catches up.

That you can take both. That was my point is the confidence in those running backs. To me, it should be like equally as strong for Damien Harris, who is going in the seventh round. I want to publicly apologize to Mac Jones for comparing his 40 time to Philip Rivers. That's just not something that was fair. Do you want to guess Philip Rivers 40 time? This is your favorite part of the show that Phil Rivers are. Let's go 5.6. It's 5.08.

Five point out. Really? Yeah, Mack Jones was 479. Drew Breeze was 4-83. How were these guys so fast? Yeah, they're all much faster than we are. That's for sure. He sped walk it. He didn't. Like a mall walker. He was holding three pound weights.

It's just, it's very interesting to see how shoe deals are going to work out now in the NFL. Huh.

Interesting. You touched on a couple of situations that I'll bring up as well as we get to mailback. The Jacksonville running back situation, which, by the way, good vibes Trevor Lawrence yesterday. Oh, yeah. 11 for 12, Chanel, heavily involved. Like, Trevor Lawrence is great.

Yeah, he's absolutely great. I would throw in just, I am so impressed with this rookie quarterback class through preseason. All the rookie quarterbacks. Fields, Lance, Lawrence, Lawrence, Zach Wilson has looked great. Literally, I'm waiting for one of these guys to. We know all. Go with Mond as the one that's not looking good. We know all these guys won't work out, right? Like statistically, historically, but that's how I feel. I'm like it really feels like all five of these guys are going to hit.

James Robinson played 33 snaps. Carlos Hyde played 28. Robinson was out. I was actually encouraged by the fact that he was out there for the first two drives. Sure. And he had a target. And that was something we hadn't seen. And that's what helped him last year. I'm not expecting last year James Robinson, but there is a place for him. Yes. Yeah, my talk up of Carlos Hyde was not disparaging James Robinson. It was just.

It's highlighting the fact that he will have another player on the field unlike last year. This one was weird to me. I need your help. Okay. So Giovante Williams didn't play. He was a healthy scratch in the preseason win. Yeah. Which wouldn't bother me if the team didn't play their starters and Teddy was out there. Now, they said that they'd seen enough of Giovante and they wanted to feature Melvin Gordon early, which also makes sense, right?

preseason play. So I'm trying to read this situation and maybe you guys can help me because I can read it both ways. I buy it completely at face value. I believe what they're saying because it makes sense. What is the face value? The face value is that they saw enough from Giovante and they needed to get or they felt they wanted to get more work for Melvin Gordon. Who looked great again.

Yeah, I mean, who's the starter? I don't know. I think it starts with Melvin Gordon being the starter. And over the course of the season, it's probably going to be a one-two punch and a frustrating backfield. But there were good vibes, getting Melvin Gordon out there, getting Cortland Sutton out there, actually looking good. I was impressed with the cuts. I mean, planting on his surgically repaired knee. You need to clear that mental hurdle.

It could just be that one cut that court in the sun goes, okay, okay, I'm good. Yeah, I think it was smart to sit Javante and say we don't want to risk getting him injured. We don't need to. We want to get Melvin Gordon work, and it worked out. Tried to spend 25 fab on Tyson Williams, and he went for 35. Oh, brutal. Cheapscape. One other situation, you know, I talked about having the jacket.

Was that on this show, did I say it? It was out in the footcast. Like where I've been a DJ Moore truth through this off season. No, it was the main episode. So I would, I mean, he looked good. I mean, 38 of Sam Darnels, 41 snaps. DJ Moore was out there, caught six, all six of his targets. It was nice to see. Donald looked good as well. And then Nico Collins played 20th 27 first.

He was one of the players that he was like, I was very kind of disappointed to see him go to Houston with all of the stuff that they're dealing with. But Nico Collins is a very interesting rookie, especially like... What if Tua ends up over there? That's far more interesting. The vibes for the Texans are bad, but the wide receiver core has Brandon Cooks and...

That's really, like Nico Collins could step up and see an 18% target share. I don't know how that will translate into fantasy, but he has an option or he could see some serious targets this year. Yeah, those targets, though. Yeah. I'm not endorsing the targets. No, I know. You're right. It's just saying opportunity drives fantasy football. And if they make a trade, if they end up shipping off to Sean Watson, then they will probably get a better quarterback.

at some point. A couple mailbag questions. Mailbag. Mailbag. All right, let's put it to the test. Griffin in Columbus, Ohio. Would you draft Gus Edwards over James Robinson? No. Personally, I would, yes. He did go ahead of James Robinson yesterday in our league. So I was hoping to not answer. Yes, I would take Gus over James Robinson.

Ethan in Utah, is there any special value in a running back defensive stack? For example, Naji and the Steelers D. I mean, look, the correlation is not really there. I've heard people talk about us more in the realm of playing, you know, DFS on draft kings or something like that. But I'm, so I'm not going after this. If it falls to you, okay, the Steelers are going to be a great defense.

Yeah, in a certain matchup, whatever, it's fine. But you should be streaming your defense. So you don't have the, you don't really look to stack it and let it ride. You're going to change your defense every single week. Even if you've got the Steelers, you're not going to play them against the chiefs or, you know, certain matchups. I will say just emotionally, my least favorite thing in the world is when I am starting a defense against my running back. Yeah. Like just that's what's happening to me.
