put in a two for 23 in order to rotate back to his one and four. Um, Mari Cooper, four targets, four for 51. Not good. Mike Williams, four for 33. Oh, man. Drop the slant touchdown. Yeah. I mean, Mike Williams is not in every week automatic play. He seems like he can't be. This is four games in a row where he has been pretty worthless. Um, it's hard to just trust a guy that's,

146 passagessucking, but also hard to miss those. You know, he had three top 10 weeks in his first four games. So kind of a tale of two halves so far. But there's a lot of football left to play. But when I'm watching the game, Mike Williams did not look great. He didn't, to me, on film, look special at all.
One of the features we have on the website is our color-coded consistency charts where you can take a glance at a player's season and see where they're trending. I want to caution you. Avert your eyes from DJ Moore. Yeah, don't look. This has been a really, really bad stretch. He's the wide receiver 41 since week five. He's averaging 7.2 fantasy points per game. Even the catches he had in this game were contested, tight.
You know, like he made a play to get the ball to get his 24 yards. But it's not looking good for DJ more. No, it is not. And do you, can you create optimism in your mind with with Cam Newton? Because Cam Newton represented really bad things for the Patriots wide receiver room last year. Yeah, you can, you can create a little bit of optimism in here's how I would create the optimism. Um, since week five when he's been putrid.
The last six games has been terrible. That six game stretch, he is on a full season pace through the bad of 147 targets. He's still their number one guy. He's just not getting, I mean, he's catching only half of them, their low value targets. Everything's been, been crap. And so the hope here is that if he's still their number one target and Cam can give him a better target, you have hope.
I mean, that's a glass-half full view. I don't look at DJ Moore and think he's going to get better. I just can see. Wide receiver three? At least how he can get better. Wide receiver three? What do you mean wide receiver three? Is he a wide receiver? Oh, yes, yes. I think that's what he is. I thought you were saying the wide receiver three. Got it. No. No, he's not. Okay. Cortland Sutton, Jerry Judy.
Duds, Marquise Brown, 13 targets, just didn't catch any of the deep ones. Yep. What are we, what's our temperature on Emmanuel Sanders? Just two for 27. It was a Stefan Diggs game. Like this was the, this was last year's Bill's offense where Josh Allen will try and run a little bit. Maybe the running basket, a couple of carries here and there, and then everything else goes to Stefan Diggs. But, you know, it has been.
It's been quite some time since we've seen a real performance, or some consistent performances here from Manny. Let's talk about T.J. Hawkinson. Oh, my gosh. 94% of snaps, 81% of routes, one uncatchable target. He played five quarters of football. Full quarter. They finished overtime. Quarters. Sorry, that was Mike Gisicki coming to hang out with him.
Oh, they flocked together. Yeah. Of course they do. What? What happened here? T.J. Hawkinson and Mike Gassicki are two of the better tight ends for fantasy, two of the more locked in starters that you were not looking to pivot from. They were started, I'm sure, in 99.9% of leagues. It is devastating to get a goose. And I think that this could happen.
at any point from these players because what they prove is the value of Travis Kelsey. The Mike Gassicki, that one feels really bad, but at least you saw seven targets. So they're just, correct. Sometimes the ball bounces the wrong way in the NFL. But to get one target, and it was not a catchable target for T.J. Hawkinson in five quarters of football when he is, Swift is your best offensive player.
But your best non-running back is T.J. Hawkinson and you're not giving him opportunities. You're not creating opportunities for him. It is extremely bizarre. Hey, they didn't lose the game, man. That's true. They did not lose. And we always, don't we always say on the show that targets are a skill? Yes, targets are a skill. You know, whether it's Brian Edwards or Hawkinson or any of these players when they struggle, you know, the defense is going to, the similarities between Hawkinson situation and Kyle Pitts are actually pretty.
comparable, where the big difference there is Pitts is slightly more athletic for getting, you know, maybe guaranteeing himself a little bit more work and Matt Ryan's better than Jared Goff. But otherwise, look at the wide receiver rooms for those two teams. You're going to have weeks where like, you know. If the defense doubles your one good weapon in the, in your main tight end.
then you've got to look elsewhere. For Hawkinson, I'm more throwing this game out because he had one target. You say targets are, you know, talent there and earned. But before this week, he was one of the most targeted tight ends in the game. He's on pace for 133 targets at tight end. He went from number one last week. He was the number one tight end to a goose. So there's your range of outcomes when you're a tight end in Detroit. Yeah, brutal. But.
Not every tight-in has the ability to be the number one on the week. Right. So why not play that one so that they can win you a week? Man. Unless he does this again. And then Jason leaves the show. Mike Gousicki, though. I mean, whatever. Darren Waller, four for 24. Cut a garbage time touchdown, called back. Is he a bust? Yes, absolutely. Yeah, he must. You drafted him, what, third round? Yes. Everyone that drafted Darren in the third round is super upset they did. They would all.
universally take it back. And what's crazy is after the first week, you just thought that was the best pick in all of fantasy. 19 targets, double digit receptions. And from that point forward, he's on pace for 944 and 2 since that. And with 126 targets. So you look at that and you go, this should be fine. Yeah, that's not bad. But not week one. Yeah. All right, Dawson Knox, just one catch. Yep.
First game back, and again, it all went to Diggs. For Dalton Schultz, I think, is a more interesting conversation of, we have, you know, Gallup back. Three bad games in a row. And my concern for Michael Gallup had not been that I think Michael Gallup's going to just return and be on fire and be a fantasy superstar in himself. But.
He will take targets, and those targets had been going to Dalton Schultz for a month. I feel like Dalton Shucks should have been in the Monday, Sunday. Oh, shucks. But you traded for him, right there, Al? No, he piqued him up. No, he waver-wired him. But, like, what he is, Schultz was locked in as a top 12 option at the tight end position. Is he still there for you? Or are you looking elsewhere? He's around there because they didn't, you know, they didn't have to do a lot in this game.
They scored on the ground early, defense shut them down. I would still, like you saw last week when they were in the inverse game script and he started getting involved later in the game. I don't know. Right, but this is the first time Michael Gallup has been back. Yeah. I don't know if that matters to me that much. But I'm saying like you kind of got to make your call here of you can probably still get some trade value.
For Dalton Schultz, if you can still trade in your league? I doubt it. I highly doubt it. I don't think people are trading for Dalton Schultz based on what he did earlier. He's a streamer now. Yeah. Okay. Conklin or Schultz? Conklin. Just depends on the week. In a vacuum. What's going to happen in the game. Conklin. Why is that? I mean, Conklin, that's his first top 12 of the year. No, and I realize that. And Schultz has done it four times. Absolutely. But what I've been saying is. No, I was just a second. He was the.
Tight-in two in week three. What I've been saying is a lot of Conklin's games where he doesn't finish, you know, very high. He's still getting eight points, which is, I mean, eight points is glorious from streaming tight-ins. I would go. I disagree. I would go, Schultz. Good. Pat Fryermuth, the ball was luth. Too luth. You don't want to, you don't want to luth the ball. And he did, and he luffed the game. So this is one where I think.
I'm waiting for Big Ben to be back. Okay. Because I think Big Ben looks for, it's like Deontay Johnson was going to be a smash play. And then with Big Ben gone and a backup in there, the targets are little Mason. Yeah. The targets are just distributed differently. And he still had nine targets, five receptions, 31. He had the egregious fumble at the end of the game that lost him the game.
But I really won't. No. Whoa, you take that. Oh, I apologize. Jason. That's right. They did not. You tied them the game. It tied them the game, as they say. All right. We want to wrap this thing up and thank pristineauction.com. There's an Antonio Gibson jersey up there right now. Autographed. 42 bucks. It ends tonight. Is that it, boys? Any updates coming in? I did. Oh, yes. The MRI confirmed for Aaron Jones that it is just an MCL sprain, so he'll probably miss one or two weeks. I also saw the concern. I mean, there was concern about McCaffrey going into the blue tent. It was because a spotter put him in there for a head injury. He was irritated. It was not his hamstring. Yep. Goodbye, everybody. We'll talk to you tomorrow. Weaver show. Enjoy the football tonight. Goodbye.
