They've been looking for this from the backfield. It's the way you're going to break down some of these deep route situations. They were taking the underneath until the defense adjusted. Then they were able to go deep. You know, Clyde average four targets a game last year.

He also wasn't good with them. I want to bring that up. I mean, I know we're mad that Clyde doesn't get more work, but from a metric standpoint, from a pro football focus standpoint, Clyde has not been good with his targets. So I don't know if this means, you know, we were saying this running game has struggled. Does Darrell Williams have flex consideration with Clyde's return or not? Probably? I mean, like even, you know, when Clyde was the...

the main runner. You saw Darrell Williams. You kind of saw a shift of like Williams is the goal line back as well. But if Clyde is in fact back this week against Dallas, you might want to at least take one week and see what you have if you have a better option. Otherwise, then you can desperation flex him. Yeah, I actually have that situation where like I'll probably be without Cordero. Right. So I might have to play him. Jonathan Taylor, 21 for 116 and 1.

He had no touchdowns the first three weeks. He scored in seven straight weeks. He is a monster. And he did all of this in like the first quarter. It was so weird. I thought he was going to finish this game with 600 yards. It never happens like that. You notice that? Yeah. No matter what, Devante Smith had 116 and two touchdowns in the first half. Pretty much did nothing else. Taylor first quarter, 78 yards or whatever it was. Very little after that. They had a, so.

They score early. They have a defensive score. And then Johnny Taylor hits a touchdown. It felt very much like the Colts just. Turtled? Yeah. They're like, it's the Jaguars. We're up big. We don't have to do anything else. And then the Jaguars almost came back. It is worth noting, though, that Jonathan Taylor has turned into a true three-down workhorse back. They're using him as.

you know, the every down type of player. Obviously, Naim Hines is mixed in. But when you look at your Dalvin Cooks, your Christian McCaffreys and, you know, the other great, the Ezekiel Elliott, this guy is actually on the field. He's getting the targets. He had eight targets in this game, six receptions, and they were winning pretty much the whole game. So you just look back since week four. He hasn't been outside the top 10 at running back a single time.

probably the best running back in football. He, uh, 5.8 at carry on the year. Yeah, he always rips off of a huge, like 30 plus yard run every week now. And, uh, where's he going to go in fantasy drafts next year? Top three? I mean, CMC. I was wondering, Christian McCaffrey, to me, it will still be the number one guy. I mean, he was barring another injury. He's next on our list where he dominated.

He was on the field for 59% of the snaps, and that turned into, you know, 150 plus yards from scrimmage and 10 receptions. Christian McCaffrey at the 101. I mean, at this point. He's number two. It's probably Jonathan Taylor at the 102. Probably is. And what's crazy is this was something that before the Carson Went's offseason injury, if you remember our first rankings, I had him at four, and it felt scary.

And then the Wince injury happens and you're like, we got out. Not just Wins, but then you had the offensive line injuries as well. But he has put it together and the team has realized this is how you win football games. McCaffrey just disintegrated the Cardinals. Despite not scoring, was he the number one on the week? I mean, he's in the top three, I think. He played 59% of snaps, which for Christian McCaffrey is nothing. You know, he used to be 100 or 95. That's a warm up.

And, yeah, 10 receptions on 10 targets. That's pretty good. And this was with Cam Newton vulturing the goal line touchdowns. Which is a problem. It's a problem that doesn't matter, though, right? We are showing currently the running back 5 on the week. That's right. Because last night, Darrell Williams passed him, Stevenson, Dylan. Gibson.

Antonio Gibson had the perfect game script. They were up the entire game from the jump. 24 for 64 and 2. It was great to see. He scored twice. Every game he scored this year, you've been happy, obviously. So the question is, can you go do it against Carolina next week?

We'll see. Potentially. What was really great was the 24 carries. I mean, obviously they only were able to who happened because they were up. He's very Josh Jacobs in that way. Like, you want to make sure you're playing them in these games where you think they've got a chance to win. This wasn't one you thought they had a chance to win. So people were worried about Antonio Gibson because obviously the Patriots off the by with Brady. They're going to come and score all over. But that just...

Yes. What did I say? The Patriots. Oh, my gosh. But, yeah, I think that against Carolina, they can. And he looked healthy. They did not seem to worry about the shin or the toe in giving him 24 carries. So it gives you a lot more confidence going forward. Yeah, I think the reality is, is don't overreact to this one and go pick him up to carry your team. But he's...

You know, 24 carries. He's only running for 3.7 a clip this year. And he brought up last week. He's not been good after contact, but this game he looked healthier. Maybe he can get on a roll. He's been hurt for the last month or so. The biweek seems to have done him well. Incredibly inefficient, but not that you expect someone to be overly efficient against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who nobody can run against. But that's the fact that he is back and saw 26 opportunities.

That's the most opportunities he's seen in a game all season long. So back, it'll feel confident about him as, you know, an RB2, which he has upside every single, every single week. Dalvin Cook, Ezekiel Elliott, both had nice weeks. 29 opportunities for Cook. Zeke was not needed after a little while in this game, but it scored twice.

Yeah, it really seemed like Dalvin Cook should have had an even bigger game with the work inside the red zone. I think he had five zone carries this week. Yeah, he kept getting stuff. But, you know, Conklin, what are you going to do? Yeah, what are you doing? De Ernest Johnson, Mark Ingram, James Robinson, Michael Carter. Also studs on the week. Anybody you want to talk about in that group? Mark Ingram's going to be really, really involved and important for...

Going for whenever Alvin Camara is gone, Mark Ingram is just going to be completely utilized in the passing and the running game. Very, very serviceable. And Dearness is a good player. Yes, he is. That's one thing that gets overlooked because he's not as good as Cream Hunt and obviously not as good as Nick Chub, but they found this guy on social media and he's great.

Matt Brita ended up with a Kenyon Drake week, as Mike would call it. He only had six touches in the game, but had in our league almost 17 fantasy points because he scored on the ground and he scored through the air. They obviously made a concerted effort to mix up the backfield a little bit with the fact they've been unsuccessful running. Seven carries for Singletary, seven for Moss, three for Brita.

What do you make of this mess? I make of this mess that you play running backs against the Jets. I mean, it's like every week, every week all of the running backs get touchdowns against the Jets. What is that? One, two, three, four touchdowns between those three players against the Jets here. As far as going forward, it's probably I'm not playing any of them. I mean, it's certainly not this coming week against Indy who's got a good running defense.

A two-way time share was too much. And now a three-way is no, thank you. All right. Stefan Diggs had his biggest game of the year 13 targets eight for 162 and 1. It was inevitable. This was coming at some point in time. It just took 10 weeks. Yeah, I mean, it did. It took a while to get a game like last year. But did this change your confidence level at all for Stefan Diggs? No, this is built into it. It's like.

I'm not going to look at this and go, Stefan Diggs is back, baby. It's 10 plus targets every single week. No, you know that can happen. And he's still a top 15 option, maybe top 10 option on a weekly basis. But he can explode. So there's nothing prescriptive about this. You're playing Diggs no matter what. C.D. Lamb, Tyreek Hill, big weeks. They're very good. Kendrick Bourne, four for 98 in a touchdown. That touchdown catch and the throw. I mean, the throw was a.

perfect placement between two defenders and the fact that Bourne was able to kind of get sandwiched and still come down with the ball. It was a great catch. What do you make of the consecutive big weeks for Devante Smith? Six targets, four for 66 and two. Both weeks was only six targets. And that's been the thing. He's not been a 10, 11, 12 target guy in this offense. But this has got to be encouraging. It is encouraging. He's a great.

wide receiver. I think he's going to have an awesome career and be really, really good long term. One of my favorite prospects I've watched film on in a long, long time. So it's great to see him having an outstanding rookie year. Like his rookie year, if you compare it to rookies over the last decade, is phenomenal. Now, if you compare it to Jamar Chase, you're like, oh, why is this guy starting? Defonda Smith shouldn't have even been drafted. This dude doesn't know how to play football.

But then the other side of the coin here is that I don't think you're going to have many games where you're throwing the ball 45-50 plus times with not with Jalen Hertz there. So some of the upside is capped. You're probably just going to keep going back and forth between good games and bad games. I'll have him in my lineup for the majority of them. I was just looking at the Jalen Hertz passing numbers. They're not good.

198, 115, 103, 162, 178. It's very low volume. Very low volume. But at least when he throws it, it's going to Devante. Justin Jefferson, they said last week, he needed more targets. They came out, they gave him more targets. Nine for 143. Silly catches over and over again. Yes. He's great. Brian Edwards scored a touchdown. That's right.

Oh, Swagnew. Three for 79 and a touchdown on the ground. Seems to be involved every week. Got hurt, I think, in this game. Hunter Henry scored twice again. Has five games with a touchdown. In those games, tied in 11, 5, 11, 11, 11, and 1.

So he has to score to finish kind of okay. Obviously two touchdowns is going to get you a better number, but he's not picking up yards. Since week three, and keep in mind we're going into week 11 here. There's been one game where he doesn't have a touchdown. That's John who's missed two in a row? Yes. Yeah, I mean, you can play Henry. Kelsey, 8 for 119, got back into it last night. Mark Andrews, 6 for 63 in a touchdown and Tyler Conklin.

Three for 11 and 2. So, I mean, let's be mindful of the 11 yards receiving in this one. Yes. But when they get to the goal line, like the play action with Dalvin Cook, they frequently go to that. And it often can turn into a Conclet touchdown. You saw Herndon get some yards in this game, too. Like, I'd play Arnold over Concord. Oh, yeah. Arnold's targets and utilization as a receiver.

is necessary for the Jaguars? He's like their number one receiver. Absolutely. Dan Arnold is phenomenal. Question. How to, like, statistically speaking, if, because that target was, the end zone target was not to Conklin. But do you just call it a target if you actually catch it? I think you have to. I think you have to. You can't be like, no targets one reception. He intercepted the ball. What if someone, but what if someone tips it? I mean, that's, yeah, I guess you're right. If somebody tips it, it is a target to that person.
