Fantasy Football 2017 - Week 9 Matchups, In-or-Out, Big News

We're going to start here in 30 seconds. Mike, were you trying to talk wide receivers on the Detroit side? Golden Tate's a must start. Yeah, and Marvin Jones right now has proven himself. It was more just like bringing up T.J. Jones, who is coming off of a decent game and maybe he's establishing himself as that. You know what you should do? You should draft him in this expert draft. Yes. Maybe I will.

All right. So again, I laid the format out. Every Friday we jump into the draft app. We take one another on and the loser has to eat something terrible. Jason has lost the last two weeks in a row. Congratulations. Thanks Leonard Fournette for not playing. So the options, the options are limited in this format. I'm on the clock at number one right now. And you know what I'm going to do? Hey, guys, you know who's still there? You can get Will Fuller. He's a great wide receiver.

I'm going to take Amari Cooper number one overall in this game because I think I'm going to go for that high, high upside, and we at least saw it two weeks ago. So Cooper's my first pick. I'm going to take a guy that I just, I believe in right now at running back. I think Alex Collins, what I saw last week, has me bought in. So he's on my team. All right, that puts me on the corner. So I'm looking at a wide receiver. I've never heard the corner before. Well, did you mean the turn? The turn, the edge, the corner. You know what I mean? I'm just trying to learn.

Well, now it's the corner. Mike's corner where I drafted Devante Parker. I'm pretty happy about that situation, getting to start off with a big play wide receiver. And man, the pickings. They're slim. They are slim. My goodness. I guess I'm going to take Kevin Coleman at the running back position because no one's jumping off the screen is an absolute must own here. Yeah, there's not a lot to love.

I think one of the players, you've got to get in on this. This is ridiculous. Yeah, one of the players that I do like, I'm going to take him now, it's a little deeper down in the list, is Sterling Shepard. Okay. He's, you know, the number one target clearly for Eli Rogers this week over Evan Ingram. Yeah, and Eli Rogers? For Eli Manning. You can't even.

He's a two-time Super Bowl winner, Jason. I'm still looking at other names while I'm speaking, and it's difficult. I can't chew bubble gum and talk. So I went with Derek Carr. I'm going to stack them with Cooper. I'm going to get one of the quarterbacks I actually like in an expert draft off the board early. And I'm going to follow that up with Jarvis Landry. I'm going to take my second wide receiver. So I've got Car Landry and Cooper to kick off this expert draft. It's tough. And this is one of the reasons, though, we get messaged all the time. We.

Yeah, this is really tough at the running back position. There's just almost nobody that I like. So I'm going to take a fan favorite of myself, Kenyon Drake. I'm going to gamble. Cool. Enjoy that. I'm going to take, so on draft.

It is, you have a two wide receiver. I know who you're taking. Or it's, I'm going to take the actual number one target for Eli Rogers. Evan Engram. I thought about it. I'm going to take Evan Engram. And then on the way back and then on the way back. Engram. Man, to fill in my other running back spot, it is very tough. I'm going to go from Marlon Mack. I don't like the matchup against Houston, but he's getting more involved with Robert Turbin out for the year.

Yeah, so I'm deciding now between do I go Carson Wins, a great quarterback against a horrifically, you know, great defense in Denver. Oh my gosh. Or Cam Newton. So confusing. But I think with the rushing value, and now that Kelvin Benjamin is out of the way, Cam Newton should be great, right, guys? Yeah, I would have taken him. Well, you can't because I got him. I went with Javarius Allen and Eddie Lacey as my two running backs. So I was considering Lacey or Mac. That's the tough situation I'm in.

You're going to enjoy the weekend with me. There we go. Lacey. Yeah. Hooray. Jason's on the clock. Yeah, you know, I think that there's a wide receiver who's been really good the last few weeks. Kenny Goladay's out. Green Bay's past defense doesn't, you know, scare me to the point where I can't take Marvin Jones. It's got a little bit of a higher upside ceiling. Oh, man. Now the question for me with my quarterback is do I believe in Carson Wentz versus Denver?

Show the people. Show the people, whether you do or don't. Well, I don't believe really in any of these other players. You could go golf. You could go Eli Manning stack with Ingram. Yeah, I'm going to take Carson Wentz. Ooh, happy wins. All right. Read your team, Mike. I got Carson Wentz, Kevin Coleman, Marlon Mac, Devante Parker, Evan Engram. I give myself a C plus. I've got Cam Newton, Alex Collins, Kenyon, Drake, Sterling, Shepard, and.

Marvin Jones, I give myself a C plus plus. Derek Carr, Javori, Eddie Lacey, and Marty Cooper, Jarvis Landry. It's a clear B-minus team. Oh, no. Yeah, with Cooper on there.
