the Packers and the Saints. I know the Patriots did their due diligence. He had rumors about Seattle, but it's where he wants to go now, right? It's no longer who's got priority based on their record. It's where does he want to play? And right now it feels like he wants to play with Aaron Rogers. He wants to have a quarterback that he has confidence can get him the football. Which is interesting because I was reading some beat reporters talking about it.

145 passagessaying that it feels like he is leveraging for a for a multi that he's not just trying to get a one year deal here where he where he can go be a rental player and interesting and if you're going to go to green bay you have to be aware of the situation that rogers there's a there is a probability that rogers is not the packers quarterback next year yeah but i mean it makes sense in the sense that you know some players can bet on themselves and they know that they'll have a great season and then they can get a big contract he knows that the
they're going to see him play football. And so he wants to get the multi-year. Stop! Here's the true situation for O'Dell Beckham Jr. The real truth of O'Dell is that he is a solid professional wide receiver. He is no longer the elite, you know, that infinite future that he once possessed, the legendary future, it's not there anymore, but he is still superior to... Yes.
the majority of the NFL receivers. And he showed it in Cleveland this year. Beckham had plays that he was like all the crap we give him. Baker missed him repeatedly on plays that he, you know, tactically, you know, broke out of a route, had himself white open. A touchdown was sitting there for him. He is obviously a better NFL wide receiver than Alan Lazard, than McCall Hardman. And then that.
Anyone that the Saints have. So he will be a help for those teams. Where would he have the most fantasy value of those three teams? It's the team that's going to throw the ball the most. So to me, it's not the Saints. I would say that it's probably the Chiefs. It's Green Bay for me. It's Green Bay for me as well. Okay. Yeah. We'll find out. Yeah. It's a fun storyline to follow. Yes. And he gets to choose where he wants to be.
If we know O'Dell, he's going to choose based on the information he's getting that he's going to be utilized as well. It is. It's going to be better for him fantasy-wise, where he goes. It is ironic you talk about he is a, you know, he's not a superstar anymore, but he's a good NFL wide receiver. That's right. He only cost like $7 million this year. That was not that. If you had claimed him off of the waivers. Right. And all 31 teams said, no, thank you. Yeah. But he also, they, he said no thank you to like.
28 of them behind the scenes. And that's for half a year. So that's a $15 million salary. Nick Chubb placed on the reserve COVID list. Yeah, this broke after our waiver show had already been recorded. Yeah, Demetrick Felton as well. So that shoots Deerunis Johnson to the tippy top of any waiver list, which at this point in time, you know, he's probably on a roster. So he also could have been dropped, you know, right after.
last week. And as far as the news we can report to Nick Chubb, we were told he is vaccinated, so that means he's in the protocol of it's still possible that he gives, he posts back-to-back negative tests within the 24 hours and plays. It's just unlikely at this point. Kareem Hunt, not ready yet, but he is eligible to come off IR. And Kevin Safansky's saying, you know, he's not sure if he's going to practice this week.
There is a lot of hurdles to overcome between not practicing and being relevant on Sunday, so we don't expect him to be back yet. Sam Darnold. This is tough because I don't want to make fun of injury here. I don't either, but the report was so insane. He's going to miss several weeks with a fractured scapula. It took them a couple days to find it. How does that happen? It took them a couple days to break the scapula. Did they take the x-ray?
And then they're looking. They're like, oh, crap, we can't develop this. We're out of the film. And then they had to drive across town. And then they got stuck in traffic. They got lost. How does taking an x-ray for a fracture take multiple days to figure out there is actually. You've got to find the right doctor to find that fracture. Keep looking. We know there's something. Enhance. PJ. PJ Walker will take over. This is not an upgrade. This is.
probably a downgrade in passing volume. He's been absolutely atrocious as a professional quarterback. See, I don't know that you can fully say that because he has... I can fully say that. I just did. He has... Well, yeah, you have the right to say that. He's thrown one NFL touchdown and he has thrown four or five interceptions. Yes, he has thrown five. He has a pass rating under 40. He has played one complete game in his career. It's not going to be good this week against Arizona.
It's going to be bad. Yes. It's going to be really bad. But my, like, I just want to highlight. He has played one game in his professional career. They won that game 20 to zero. And that was one of DJ Moore's best games of last year where he was kind of hot or cold with Teddy Bridgewater. So this isn't, to me, with PJ Walker coming in and how terrible Sam Darnold was, I don't think I'm looking at DJ Moore going.
It's getting worse. He played. It could get better. He had 14 attempts in week seven of this year. He completed three of those passes. So take that for what you will. Three for 14. But I mean. Same Darnold. Yeah. It's just a tough matchup as well. Agreed. But gets Washington and Miami after that if. Darnold will be missing several weeks. Nick Underhill reporting that the Saints hosted three free agent running backs.
Kerry Hunt Johnson, Rodney Smith, and Josh Adams. Alvin Camero went to the medical tent for a brief period in Sunday's loss. So this is kind of, you know, plain detective. The clues are that maybe he's banged up. And so Mark Ingram suddenly looks very interesting. If he is available on waivers, you absolutely need to scoop him up.
This is one of those where you don't want Sunday to come around and have this surprise shocking. Alvin Camara is going to sit this game out and be like, we knew nothing of this. These are those tea leaves you try to pay attention to. If they're bringing in running backs to work out, then someone is a little banged up. So be aware. We had hoped that Antonio Brown would be available to the Buccaneers after the bye week video coming out yesterday.
The fact that Bruce Ariens said he's wearing a walking boot still and the fact that they signed Rashad Perryman to their practice squad say, this is not looking great. And Ariens, you know, he came out and he didn't play budget magician earlier. He said this could be a long-term injury right away. So Antonio Brown is not likely to be out there this week or in the immediate future.
Do you drop him? Do you move on? I have not been, I have not moved on. No. Because he's going to be great. But if, I mean, if he's out another three weeks, he represents too much upside. Agreed. Eric Ebron is going to return to action Sunday against the Lions. No. Yeah. It just makes, it a little more sketchy for the muth. Yeah, it does. We'll talk about, I mean.
your confidence and the value of the Muth a little bit later? Yeah, yeah. I mean, where are you guys with that situation? He has a ton of potential earning the trust of Big Ben, but it's not like we haven't seen 50 tight-ins, score two touchdowns and then disappear. It's not about the multiple touchdowns for me. It's the fact that he's been seeing a very solid target share in the offense since he has taken over for,
For Eric Ebron, they drafted him highly. So this isn't a Big Ben trust question. This is a Mike Tomlin trust question where Eric Ebron has been just, you know, for this team for quite some time. So hopefully they see the rookie emerging and being truly efficient that they choose to stick with him as the primary guy. And then instead of these other randos like Gentry and.
And I don't know, who was the guy that they threw like a, there was a really important play. It was a third down pass and it was some player that you'd never even heard of. Hopefully that's Eric Ebron. And the Muth will continue to be Luth. The mention of the Steelers reminds me that we, I told you, I watched the game without the audio on.
It was made clear to us after our comments on yesterday's show that... Oh, yes, yes, yes. That we had thought... We need to print every traction. With our mouths. Yes. That Matt Nagy had used the timeout to ice the kicker when, in fact, the clock was going to be run, and so he used it to stop the clock. He is not a psycho. When I was watching it, it was... Yeah, just hold on. That play was wild because the refs put the ball down.
And the clock still hadn't gone. And it was multiple seconds later when Matt Nagy called the timeout. So maybe the refs were still trying to get everybody set before they could start winding the clock. And so that's where it felt like, oh, they're leaving it stopped, which is bizarre. But then I did go back and check the tape on the kick. And Matt Nagy was wrong there. He still should have thrown the Hail Mary. You did check that tape. Yeah, that's a good point. Just want to make sure I'm correcting.
Giving Matt Nagy the... And apologizing for nothing. Yes. I'm washing it out. Is that the, I mean, is that your opinion? Of the Hail Mary? Yeah. Yes, 100%. Your kicker literally couldn't get there. When you're five yards short. His career long was 10 yards under what you were trying to have him kick, which was one of the longest field goals in the history of the NFL. Like, I know, I know that, yeah, I mean, your odds of completing a Hail Mary are microscopic as well.
They're much higher than someone being able to add an additional five yards to a kick. Yeah, I mean, but where do you draw the line? 63-yard field goal? 60. It just depends on the kicker. Sure. That's where you've got to know your personnel. Most kickers don't have 60-yard field goals in there. Exactly. But maybe you catch a breeze on the right night, and it just feels like the odds of hitting a field goal like that are higher.
It really just depends on the player. There's just, you need to know what is impossible because the odds of doing, the odds of me flying is zero. If I literally cannot kick the ball that far, then don't try. But we don't know that, right? We don't know what he's made in practice before. No, no, no. They do. So maybe he is, maybe he has.
