He's kind of dangling out there as one of the last tier of guys that can still be a... That's bait. A top 12 type of performer. I just saw some camp film. I don't know if you guys saw it this morning. Of Tyreek? Yeah, it was Waddle and Tyreek and it was, you know, more of the get off the line drills. And you watch these and it's always beneficial to see the other receivers because it's a great comparison. And Tyreek was very still Tyreek in this. It was just like...

a different species from the other wide receivers off the line. It just looked. I will say this. There was some data. I can't remember who put this out on Twitter. I apologize, but someone was just sharing veteran open rates as they age. You know, with just how often are these wide receivers getting open in their last three years and with their age there? And Tyreek was at the top. He was open last year. He was getting open last year. So I think it was more of a. system issue, a Tua McDonald bat offensive line, concussion issue. It was not Tyreek having necessarily lost the step. That being said, I don't know that that changes. They're still going to have to get the ball out of his hand super quick. But absolutely. In fourth round, that is delicious bait. You are going to love the hook. Yeah, you really are. Well, it's, yeah, I'm going to have to roll with the punches on the, on JMO around early.

But, you know, we talked about that on the show. I think it was the last episode, you know, the quick question. Like, what happens when you win a pick goes sideways? Like, is it going to unravel the rest of your draft or you just roll with it. So getting Tyreek in the fourth is where I'm going to go. Devante Smith off the board, Chuba Hubbard, DJ Moore, round out the fourth round. James Cook, last year, Fantasy Darling, goes in the fifth. That's fine. George Pickens, or as you call him, George? George. Off the board at 502. In this draft, that's over, you know, Sutton's still sitting there. Metcalf is the one sitting there. Zay Flowers still on the board. And Brees Hall still on the board at 504 at this point, which that is two. Double bait. That's two rounds. You're going to get fish hooked in both. The names look awesome. Well, look, I did. It's going to rip your face off. I thought about it in the fourth. You want to know how I got these scars?

I drafted Tayriek and Breece back to back. And they pulled from both sides. Yeah, well, I'm dead. Breeze Hall, two rounds below ADP. And the last of a tier at running back, in my opinion, on the board. So we live to make fun of each other. Oh, yeah. And you should. But Tyreek in the fourth, Breeze Hall and the fifth, that's where, I mean, I probably would have taken the exact same players. There are. You know, a lot of times where they go, there are players behind them that I feel much more confident in. But where you took them, they are seemingly the last of a tier of guys who have the talent to be able to get back to, you know, top five level production. Most of the other guys in this area, you know, look at the guys that went next. Corlin Sutton, D.K. Metcalfe. Those aren't, they don't have the ability, the talent, the situation, the team to be able to be top five at their position, whereas, you know, Tyreece Hall could. This was the Jared Smollett tweet.

Did you read this already? I didn't. This was the one you referenced. Oh, okay. It was Smola? Yeah, Smola headpost. He said, for all those concerned about Tyreek Hill's 2024, he ranked 8th among all wide receivers in open score. And his score trailed only his 22 and 2023 marks, but better than his scores over the previous five seasons in Kansas City. So, you know, we'll see. He is a risk. Tyreek is in the, Tyreek is very much in the Christian McCaffrey category where there have been burns. from high and high draft capital selections of players with long histories of dominance, and you are taking a chance that they return to form. Because that's what you're doing with McCaffrey. You're saying, stay healthy. Stay healthy and be yourself and get the same workload. And that's what we're saying with Tyreek. So I went Breece Hall. By the way, Lamar Jackson went right before Breece and then Josh Allen right after. So our first two quarterbacks off the board. Cortland Sutton, D.K. McHaff go next.

And Mike, you are on the board. You have Pook and Akua, Christian McCabry. Every G. I see now, I just want to call him George Wilson. Everybody's a George? Because you got George Kittle, Garrett Wilson, and you're back on the clock. So the best part of these mocks is because this is where you get to find out how you feel about stuff. So I'm going to go back-to-back onesies. So I can see what my team looks like at this point where I got the, you know, I got the two wide outs. So it's not. complete destruction of throwing that position away of I'm going all budget wide receivers. So then it comes down to it's got a full CMC dependency of running back right where you want to be. Hey, it's hero R.B. Maybe. Hero R.B. If it works out, if my team will be dominant. And then it's just, you know, I are. It could be. It's like, do you want Jaden, Jalen Hertz? Yeah, I was curious. If you're going to another onesie, which guys are going to be? I'm going to go, like.

As much as it could be Jaden and how fun that would be, I was going to stick with the tried and true. I'm going to take Jalen Hertz. Long may rain the tush-poosh. Okay, yeah, which it seems as though the next pick for Brooks was going to be Jailen Hurts. Oh, eat it, Brooks. At least you unsettled him. Yeah, he wanted the stack. Yeah, he did. And he ends up with Jaden Daniels off the board. Hertz and Daniels. So four. quarterbacks in the fifth round. Well, that's a shame. I really wanted one. I had four quarterbacks queued up. Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, Jalen Hurts. You knew that run was going to start. Jane Daniels, and it started and it stopped because for me, that's the end of that kind of tier. So I'm at, I'm at a place here where the onesie positions, quarterback and tight end, I would pull the trigger on any of the true difference makers here. But there are seven difference makers.

between those two positions. You're talking Bowers, McBride, Kittle, and then the aforementioned four quarterbacks. They're all gone. So I'm back to running back and wide receiver. When you end that break, that doesn't mean you just take the next best quarterback or the next best tight in because, you know, they're not difference makers. T.J. Hawkinson's fine. Sam LaPort is fine. You know, those are, Johnny Smith was the tight end four last year. If he's, you know, a dolphin, I think he's going to be, but he's not. winning people championship. None of those guys are. So I want the depth at the position where you need more guys. I'm going to take, first off, Teteroa McMillan at wide receiver. Oh, nice. He was very much in consideration for my next pick. And now, you know, I've got a bunch of options at wide receiver guys like Zay Flowers, Chris Olave, who I love and I'm terrified of, and forever will be. And then at running back, you've got the, some of the rookies that are down there.

But I think there is one guy kind of sitting in a tier by himself. Oh, please. Please take him away. Take him away from me, dude. Save me from myself. Because he'd be in consideration for you. Oh, yeah. Yeah, he's in the queue. And you hate him. Yeah. I will take Joseph. Oh, you're such a sweet, sweet man. Joseph Mixing. Oh, thank God. Technicolor Dreamcoat is on my roster. I'm just going back and forth running back wide receiver. The fact that it was mixing and I thought that the player was going to be Ken Walker. Could that he wanted saving from? Obviously, this is a 10 team league. Waddle off the board at the 606. So you have another believer in Betsy, Mike. Best running backs available. I have Bejohn and Breece right now with Harrison, Jameson, and Tyreek. Best running backs available right now on the board. You do, you have your shots with RJ Harvey, who we talked about in the news section or Judkins. Um, you've got some veterans, James Connor sitting there, uh, Aaron Jones who we talked about recently. And, uh, at wide receiver, you know, the highest guys on my board at this point are probably, or the players I'm considering the most, probably Chris Godwin. Uh, I want depth in a three wide to have, uh, another guy that can come in and make a big difference, especially with volatility and Jameson Williams. Travis Hunter, rookie wide receiver slash DB.

sitting there. And I like Pierceall and Jaden Reed, but I think they can, they can slip quite a bit. At tight end, you've noticed there haven't been one, there hasn't been one that's gone in two rounds. Because nobody really wants to pull the trigger on the next tier, which is like Hawkinson, Leporta, Johnny, what, Ninojoku, Kelsey, whatever order you have them in. And then at quarterback, after Burroughs gone, same story. Yeah, and if you're wondering when to pull the trigger on that next tier of tight ends, it's not a matter of I don't want. Hawkinson or I don't want Laporta. It's who are the other positions available? Are there still really good wide receivers running backs that you love? Like Joe Mixen, you know, he's still, you know, a top 15 running back. He's there, man. You know, but you're going to run out of those wide receivers and tight end and running backs here in the next probably few picks. And then you then you pull the trigger. Yeah, there's there's a handful of in both categories that I think I'm.

I like quite a bit. I like Xavier Worthy, too. I have him ranked fairly highly. So I'm going to actually go, I'm going to go Godwin here and see what comes around at running back or the other positions on the way back through. Trevion goes next to Kyborg, which he's drafted him right now as his running back two in the sixth round. I know Jason and I are. Kyle also went double onesies. He did. Yeah, which, you know, he had a chance to go. Wide receiver running back at that spot. Goes Trevion. Connor off the board, Olaave off the board in the sixth round. Because look, mock drafting, the reason we're doing this, see how things play out in a real scenario. And what kind of... You know, what do the hooligans in our office do to try to take players we care about away from us? So I'm back on the clock. My running backs right now, Bijon and Brees. A couple of the rookies sitting there, R.J. Harvey. Did the news today make either of you nervous? No. It didn't make me nervous personally. No, I saw Dobbins play most of his games last year. Where are you with DeAndre Swift this year? There was another news blur about him preparing for a bigger workload.

It, we are, I mean, the further you, the closer you get to the season, the more, like, you just have to take a chance. Thank goodness he's not steamed up yet. I hope he doesn't. He won't. Because he, like, there's players where you just, like, I don't believe in DeAndre Swift. But given his price and what I believe about Ben Johnson and what I think that that offense is going to do, I'll take chances on some of those guys. I'll say I'm willing to be wrong on this one with them on my roster. There's guys you're like, I'm willing to be wrong, just pass them. It's unwilling to be wrong and draft them. This is about where he's going in most drafts. There are 22 running backs off the board right now. So he would be the 23rd ranked quarterback. He has never finished worse than 23rd in his career, including the seasons he's missed games. All right. I will make my pick in just a moment. Do you hear that thing about

You're drafting him on his floor for DeAndre Swift. He's never finished lower than this if you draft him here. Yeah, you want me to take on taking David Montgomery. Oh, the bait was set, man. I thought this guy's hungry. He's full, dude. He's double hooked. All right. I already got the, I already got the Breeze Hall, Tyree killed, death trap. No, Dave Montgomery is such a perfect pick in the seventh right here. First of all, it's like two and a half rounds higher than his ADP and a 10 team right now. And it's also like you need. I could have gotten rookie running back, right? But Breece has questions and question marks. So getting David Montgomery, who you know has that solid floor to me in the seventh round is of value. I figured it's that of the rookies. And the rookies go next. RJ Harvey and Quinchon Judkins back to back right after the Monty pick. Hawkinson off the board to Al Borland, finally pulls the trigger on the next tier, which is good value on ADP. And then Mike, you are back up on the clock.

I am back. So right now I have two running backs, two wide receivers, my tight end and my quarterback. Because it is a three wide, I need to start stockpile. The build of this team will be stockpiling more wide receivers. And this won't be a team that looks just like unbelievably incredible, like a running back depth that's going to be over the season. I will be focusing more on that. So I'm going to take my... Current's highest projected wide receiver. I'll take Jordan Addison. 10 touchdowns, two straight years. What if Jordan Addison is just really good? So as my wide receiver 3 at this point, I'm happy with this draft pick. Brooks goes Juan Jennings right after Jordan Addison. Triple situation going on. You got Nico, J.S.N. and McMillan. Call that a triple double. Thank you. Gentie, Chiron, Mixin. Mixing. Mixing in the sixth just looks. Yeah, I'm... Looks great. I'm thrilled with my running backs and wide receivers right now. I wish I had a little bit more depth at wide receiver, being that it's three wide. There is a player I really, really want. He's lower an ADP. I can't imagine with this... group of people he would come back to me. So I'm trying to decide whether I play the game or not. Travis Hunter is here. I've been rising on him more and more and more. The more that it seems like he is just, he's a wide receiver. Yes, he will be a wide receiver and maybe some DB. Yeah, I mean, if he's going to be a full time wide receiver, and that's still my fear is that he's going to be like an involved wide receiver, just not a full time wide receiver. If he's a full time wide receiver, that dude is so talented. You know, I mean, there's a reason he's,

drafted where he was. That's where it's, it's, I can't wrap my head around fully, the Travis Hunter, just the whole situation of, because watching Cohen talk about it is like, you know, he's, he's in the wide receiver meetings and it's, one of the coaches admitted like, ah, it's going to be pretty difficult right now to get him playing both. So, you know, fully signaling that this guy will be a full time wide receiver part time DB. And then it's like, wait. You traded all of that to move up to get Travis Hunter? Like that is, that is a really strong signal. That is the highest, if he's just a wide receiver, it's the highest draft to White House since Calvin. That's wild. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. It is crazy how much they spent to go after him, which, you know, to me, I'm like, I don't fully know how it will work for Travis Hunter. I can't tell you this is exactly the path. It is more of a.

That dude is good. A team mortgaged their future to move up and go and get him. They will have to figure out how to use him. He took him. Before you even brought him up, he wasn't going to make it past my next pick. Yeah. So now the question is do I, I'm looking between two players, Sam Leporta. He is now at the point where I think he's a fine pick. The problem is I just don't know how different he is from. Evan Ingraham and David Nojoku and Tyler Warren and Dalton Cicade and Johnny Smith. So I'm going to grab the guy I actually want, who I would hope comes back to me, but he wouldn't at this group of sharks. So I'm going to take Caleb Johnson. I believe that the rookie running back for the Pittsburgh Steelers has a legitimate, a fully legitimate chance to be the second highest rookie running back this year and outstanding for fantasy football.

So speaking of a player that I don't necessarily fully believe in, but I know that a lot of people do. I know you guys do. And here has my wide receiver four. That's fine. I'll take the chance on it. Judy? No. I'm going with Rome. The Jerry Judy, my. I have to hear that it's Flacco. I don't blame people at all who are like, no, I'm going to go into Jerry Judy. I'm going to take what he did and say that as a true level up. But to me, if it's not Joe Flacco, I don't really want a part of it. But Rome, with what they're doing in Chicago, then, yeah, I'm in as my wide receiver four. Mahomes finally goes right after Roma Dunzee at 804 and the often forgotten but never unproductive. Jacobi Myers goes at 805.

Calvin Ridley off the board. And that's 27 running backs have been taken now, Andy. DeAndre Swift. Oh, no, I'm taking DeAndre Swift. Yeah, I'm taking DeAndre Swift. Yeah, I'm taking DeAndre Swift. I was going to tell you. I would too. Like I was thinking about him in the previous round, like the opportunity for him is awesome. So I'm going to go DeAndre Swift in the late eighth round. Diggs and Trey Harris go next. You know, speaking of Diggs in New England, positive. Kyle Williams chatter. Careful. Just watching him at camp. Careful. Trey Harris, Tony Pollard, Jerry Judy, Johnny Smith, Ricky Pearsall, who is very high up on the list off the board. And sitting here in the ninth, I am now going to take discount Joe Burrow. Baker Mayfield will be my quarterback. He will also be a stack with Chris Godwin, who I took in the sixth round. So that makes me feel cozy there, taking Burrow much, much later. Just in this draft example.

Like ADP-wise in a normal 12th team, it was fourth and sixth round for Burrow and Baker. And this one, it was sixth and now ninth round for Burrow and Baker. It's the right time to put a top upper echelon guy at the quarterback position on my team. Leporta goes next. So, Jono and Leporta in the ninth round. I think that Leporta value is fantastic. You know, he's in the same tier. as Hawkinson, who was genuinely a value by the time it got taken into the 7th. This group is not drafting how I think most average groups will. I think those middle tier tight ends will be pushed up because people are like, I need a tight in and they'll grab them earlier. This was done just the right way. Kudos. Good job, everybody. Good job us. Jaden Reed at 907. Great value there, in my opinion. Mike on the clock again, Addison and Rome, the last two picks. Okay, so I feel okay.

about the wide receiver depth at this point now with Rome being my four. I'm going to take a chance of, I don't know where he would go in the draft, but I'm going to take Cam Scataboo. I love it. Projected by me, starter for the New York Giants eventually. That was the pick over Tracy? Yeah. I got to pick over Tyrone Tracy, which is, that's still a tough one for me to make, but I think that it, I think it's going to start with Scadaboo as the third down running back, but in my evaluation, I think Cam was just a player that.

sooner than later will be you can't take him off the field. We got to keep them out there. Jason, you are back on the clock. A couple of rookies with your last two picks. And then I'm going to add Travis Kelsey. Yeah, I thought about, yeah. At this point, if you're at this point, yeah, I'm projecting him to lose a lot this year to the other guys, but I don't care. Yeah, you know, I'm looking at him or Evan Ingram. Give me Travis Kelsey. And then at quarterback, I could go a couple different ways here. I think personally it's between Bo Nix and Kyler Murray.

I like both players. I am fine and happy with both quarterback situations. Didn't I draft Bo Nix in our last mock? He probably wanted to if you didn't. I probably did because I want to. I'm going to do it again. I'm going to take Bo Nix. He was the quarterback seven, you know, after the first month of the season going on his rookie season. I think he gets better. You did it in the dynasty mock. Your mocks are all merging together. There's no way for you to know. You just start the next one when the last one finishes. Keon Coleman goes next to Brooksie Mike. You're back on the clock. Three picks left. So wide receivers, ADP-wise at least. You're talking Shakir, Ayuk, who's not even an option for me. Debo, the ghost of Cooper Cup. Josh Downs is very interesting right here. Oh, man. I'm going to take Josh Downs here. I would have.

It would have been nice if you took Tyrone Tracy and double backfields. Oh, that seems like just wanting to punch yourself with the balls over and over and over. Yeah. Oh, you will hate yourself. Yeah, you would that. You will never get it right. Tracy goes next. No, you won't. And then Cooper Cup, Najee Harris. I'm sitting back on the board here. I need a tight end. The two teams. the three teams drafting after me, I'll have tight ends. There you go. So in that situation, I will allow them to draft the second tight end if they want to. So I'm not going to go there. I'm looking at some upside prospects. So I'm going to go Matthew Golden, who should start right away for Green Bay and take him in the 10th here in a three wide league. Get myself some upside there. Warren, Jack Bash, off the board at 1009. Kyler, a 1010.

And then you have Giovante Williams, still wearing the Denver colors here in our mock draft, threw me off for a second. Travis E.TN, a sweet 11th round pick. Oh, how you have fallen. And Jordan Mason next off the board. So I was right. No one else took a second tight in. So I can go ahead and not worry about that. My next two tight ends off the board. I will take one here. I've got a long wait. And I don't want to wait until the last round for the next tier. And that next tier for me is Evan Ingram and David Nijoku.

Quarterback question for Nojoku. Not that way for Evan Ingram. They're so tight in my projections and rankings, I have Ingram one spot higher. So I will take Evan Ingram in the 11th round here and count on Jason's quarterback bow next to supply the goods. Pittman and Nojoku go next as we are getting towards the end of this draft. Mike, you are back on the clock. Scatibu and Downs your last two picks. You can take a shot at anything you want. You know, we're upside only at this point. Do you, can I just ask since you're the CMC guy? Do you consider Garindo as one of those options at the, you know, last pick of? Especially Hero RB style. Yeah, I don't think that that's a, a bad decision by any means. We're only going, you know, what's our bench? Yep. So what makes it harder? With a four bench, I'm, I'm.

I might not do it because that's going to be, man, if you only have three bench spots to cycle through for your waiver wire, because if you draft Garando here, you're locked with him. I mean, you're going to feel like the moment you drop Garando, that's when the shoe falls. So I'm just looking at upside, which to me is I'm looking at the rookies. No, Egbuka, Luther Burden. I do already have Rome, so I don't know that I want to double up on the Rams guys. But I'm going to take, I'm going to take the shot on Jaden Higgins, Houston Texans.
