You two are enjoying yourselves very much, and you should be because David Johnson has risen the depth chart on pure skill. Hey, he's shown enough skill to merit it, and now he gets it in an even better way because there's nobody behind him. David Johnson is the number one waiver wire pickup. Absolutely. By far this week. David Johnson will start next week for the Cardinals. He will share some time with Stefan Taylor because that's just...

13:41 ↗

what's going to happen. You saw some snaps for Stepfan Taylor last week, and they're not going to give the rookie all the snaps. They'll pick somebody up, too. I mean, Kerwin Williams will probably be back on the team in a couple hours. So that's the latest on Ellington and Chris Johnson. Let's talk about Martellus Bennett. He is practicing, but he hasn't really done much for owners lately. Chris Mortensen reports Peyton Manning isn't expected back anytime soon. That's weird. He was wearing a cast for the plantar fascia.

14:10 ↗

Vasciitis? Yeah. And we've talked about this a lot of... Around the studio. What are the Broncos going to do with... I mean, you'll Brock Osweather coming off of two big wins. Now, he's not being an elite quarterback, but what he has done is not turn the ball over. And because he's athletic, and he can get that run game going. And we saw the last two weeks, the Broncos running game has been fantastic with Hillman.

14:39 ↗

Two weeks ago over 100 yards, CJ Anderson this last week had a monster game. What do the Broncos do? Because they can't run that offense with Peyton Manning. And Peyton Manning is turning the ball over more than he's throwing touchdowns.

14:53 ↗

Yeah, and again, it comes back to what we've said on the show before, at least my opinion on it, which is if you believe that Peyton Manning's struggles were very related to his injuries, then you bring Peyton Manning back and you put him in a position to succeed when he's healthy. If they don't believe it has anything to do with all the injuries, then you're talking about a different situation, and you could see Peyton Manning...

15:13 ↗

under the guise of injury, kind of not playing the rest of the season. He's injured the rest of the year. Yeah, I think that that's what's going to happen because Kubiak has his system that he loves to run that has to come under shotgun. I saw a stat this morning. You mean it has to come under center? Yes, correct. It has to come with the quarterback under center. In Brock Osweiler's two games under center. He has more, as the starter, he has more snaps under center.

15:41 ↗

then all of the games Peyton Manning played come on. Wow. That's a different system, and it's the Kubiak system. So Coos. And I believe Peyton will be back, and he'll be their playoff quarterback. Yeah. Because he's Peyton Manning. And I want to go into the playoffs with the potential for upside versus kind of playing the backup quarterback role. I mean, Osweiler's done fine. And maybe that's all you need. Maybe you need Trent Delfer with that defense. Yeah, and that's what I think I need. DeMarcus where I'll come back. And if you.

16:08 ↗

few weeks, so we'll see. All right, Jason Cole reports that Danny Amandola is set to return in week 13 against the Eagles. Glorious. So that is very good news for Brady owners, certainly, and for Danny Amandola owners to see him come back. The Patriots are humorous to me. They cut Chris Harper yesterday. Yeah, get out of here. Brutal. After he muffed the punt. So, um...

16:35 ↗

Goodbye. Send in a message. We don't need wide receivers here. We're the Patriots. We're good to go. Everybody's injured and they've got their rookie. They draft. You got a bad play? Get out of here. Honestly, I think what they said to themselves is I'd rather start Brandon Bolden on the outside as a kind of jerry-rigged wide receiver than I would Chris Harper when you make a mistake like that. Honestly, if Harper didn't...

17:00 ↗

Muff that punt, they win the game. Absolutely. Because that changed the momentum. They're up two scores. He gave him a short field. So harsh, though, man, harsh. Colts Amad Bradshaw, season ending injured reserve for the third consecutive year. Wrist injury, no longer the handcuff for Mr. Frank Gore. And a report came out yesterday saying Frank Gore was...

17:21 ↗

Beat to hell, I believe? Beat to crap. Beat to crap. Yeah. And he looks like it. He's running slow. I was going to say, give me 30 seconds on the Colts backfield. The Colts back field right now is not looking too good. The nice thing is you get the workload. They are dedicated to running the ball, especially with Hasselback right now. But they're not running it well because Frank Gore is beat to crap. And so he's running like that. How about a matchup against the number one run defense in Pittsburgh this week? And so.

17:49 ↗

It's just, it's a bad time. I think that as the season goes on, they'll give enough rest to Frank Gore in the week, during the week, that he'll get back to health. But I don't like his matchup this week. I don't think you need to handcuff him. If you did, it would be, boom, boom, Aaron. Back again. I think you should. Yeah? Yeah, I think you should. We saw Boom Heron have some mighty fine fantasy weeks when he, toward him, was the main guy last year.

18:17 ↗

Not necessarily because he's the best runner in the world, but he's great in the passing game. All right, let's get over to the Dolphins. Dan Campbell, also known as Guns Mahoney to Jason. Richard Matthews, fractured multiple ribs.

18:33 ↗

on this past weekend he's not very unlikely to play this week which means devante parker's going to have another opportunity we'll get into devante parker in the waiver section but he had 10 targets this past week so you need to be aware of him and then this is kind of news for the defense owners i've been recommending the chiefs i have the chiefs is my only defense right now heading into the playoffs and very confident with them but justin houston's down

18:56 ↗

with a sprain PCL now and is going to miss multiple weeks, which is devastating. I mean, he is the pass rush equivalent, you know, the defense defensive changer kind of. He's the J.J. Y. He's the J.J. Y. Y. And he's the leading.

19:09 ↗

I think he's the sack leader right now or was before last week. And was last year. That's a huge blow. He's what changes their secondary to be okay. Yeah, a fantasy defense especially that, you know, when you look at fantasy defenses, I think the number one thing you look for is sacks, the potential to sack. Sure. Because it's guaranteed points. It causes turnovers. It just leads to everything else. So that's what you look for. And that's gone. So that's a huge blow. For your team, Andy, unless I drop the Rams, which I might do, you can pick them up. They've been stinky.

19:38 ↗

You're probably going to, or people to have the chiefs. I'm going to have to keep my eyes open. Yeah, and stream week to week because, you know, you're going to have guys like the Miami Dolphins who are playing against Pick Six City in Matt Schaub this coming week. So you just stream your different options. The waiver wire is really what you're going to need to look at. And that's my favorite segment.

20:00 ↗

Of the week is the waiver wire that we are about to get to. But before we get to that, we want to thank today's sponsor, harriesherys.com. You've heard us talk about harries.com. We personally use that for razors. I know all three of us have a beard and people are like, wait, what? Yeah, we shave our neck. We don't, we're not.

20:19 ↗

We're not monsters here. We're not barbaric. We shave, and we actually got a Christmas edition of their kit that is very nice. They've got a peppermint face wash.

20:31 ↗

It is delightful. It is wonderful. I highly recommend it. It's the holiday season. You can get it for yourself. You can get the best razors imaginable for your friends, for your family, a white elephant gift exchange. There's any reason to do it. Here's what you need to do. You go to harry's.com and you enter our promo code footballers and Harry will give you $5 off your first purchase. They have a kit.

20:54 ↗

It's $15 normally. So we're talking $10. It comes with a razor. It comes with three blades. It comes with moisturizing shave cream and other goodies. It is a wonderful Christmas present. How much is shipping, Mike? I believe that it's free. It's free. Free 99. So you need to do this soon to get it by Christmas for the holidays. Go to harries.com. Enter promo code footballers and start shaving better today. Love it. Put me in, coach.

21:26 ↗

All right, let's talk waivers this week. There are some big names out there. We'll get to David Johnson. He's kind of at the top of the list because of opportunity the team he's on and the workload that's coming his way. But let's talk wide receivers right now. I want to start in San Diego. You saw a big bounceback game from Phillip Rivers this past week, which had to encourage both Phillip Rivers owners and owners of any wide receiver there. But the guys at the top of my list are Stevie Johnson.

21:54 ↗

who for a third consecutive week had seven receptions. This time he got a touchdown, seven for 92 and a touchdown. And then I want to just speak briefly deeper leagues about Dantrell Inman. So what are your thoughts on these two guys? Stevie Johnson rest of the season is a wide receiver two. Yeah, low and two. And I think it's a reliable.

22:13 ↗

low in two. Like you said, three weeks in a row with seven receptions. The reason he's on here, now he's owned in most leagues, but there's still almost 30% of ESPN leagues that have him on the wire. And he is a guy that's a plug and play, startable guy. You need a guy that you know isn't going to go out and score four total points. That's going to be Stevie Johnson. If he gets in the end zone, like you did this last week, he'll give you a good game. And for Inman, if it's a deeper league, sure, I think he's worth an ad. Just because the Chargers,

22:42 ↗

Though they insist on running continuously with Melvin Gordon, they really get everything done through the air with Philip Rivers. And the inman's on the field a ton, just like Stevie Johnson. So he's not a bad option, in my opinion. All right. So talk to me about Stevie versus like Kamar Akin. Aiken had a good game last night. They both are kind of reliable, not special, not elite. Would you rather have Stevie or Aiken rest of the season?

23:09 ↗

I'd rather have Stevie just because it's Phil Rivers versus Matt Schaub, where Kamar Aiken is still a solid pickup if he's around and people still haven't picked him up, which there's leagues where they haven't. But we saw last night that he's still going to get the targets. Unfortunately, the Ravens can't play the Browns every single week, so you won't see those wide open where there's no one within a 30-yard radius of Kamar Aiken.

23:36 ↗

But he's still going to get a ton of targets, a ton of opportunity. Yeah, and it was nice to see Shob. You know, you don't know when a new quarterback comes in. Who is he going to target? Is he going to use Betty Crockett Gilmore, which unfortunately he didn't? The first play of the game comes out, hits him. I'm like, oh, yeah. And there you go.

23:54 ↗

That was it. I think he got two more tiny passes late in the game. But it was nice to see Kamar Aiken. Tiny passes. I know I'm visualizing that too. The one thing I like more about Kamar Aiken than Stevie Johnson. And I do agree I would rather have Stevie Johnson because his baseline and his quarterback. But Kamar Aiken at least is used a little bit more downfield. Stevie Johnson doesn't normally get used as much on longer. We've seen seven receptions in three back-to-back games.

24:22 ↗

With the exception of this week, with 92, he's had, you know, about 10 yards of catch. So the guy that I'm excited about, can I talk about the wide receiver that I am most intrigued about on this list? Sure. Devante Parker with Richard Matthews out. And we've seen how valuable Rashad Matthews has been this year. He's been one of those guys that nobody really wants to believe in week after week after week because he's Rashan Matthews and, you know, he was almost traded and cut before the year. But Devante Parker is...

24:51 ↗

Coming into this year, some people were talking about him hand in hand with, you know, Kevin White and Amari Cooper as the best rookie coming in. He was injured, didn't get on the field much this year, has, I believe, four back-to-back goose eggs because he wasn't used. But Shard Matthews goes down this last week, four receptions, 80 yards, and a touchdown. And, you know, he's more the future. And so you want to talk about a guy that you can grab that maybe has a big...
