Is that Michael Michael? You mean Halloween? Oh, yeah, I do mean Halloween. I was like, I'm trying to find a Jason. You're looking for a Jason. Jason or a Vorhees of some guy. Michael Mayor, yeah. Michael Mayor, man. In the month of October? I know. Come on. It's early October, and I'm old. I'm 8 for 82 for Michael Mayer, though. Like, would you rather flex Michael Mayer or Trey Tucker?

43:16 ↗

I was like people are really slow on the uptake here. It's not the right movie. No. We got Lord of the Rings here. I would you flex Tucker or Mayor? I would rather flex Tucker, I would rather flex Tucker, I think. I was trying to set you up to pick the right answer. Oh. Maker cousins and company, they, at least last week, they love the tight end position.

43:44 ↗

like no one else does. Yeah, it was, it was funny because it was like, man, Michael Mayer's getting everything in that game. Not two weeks ago, mayor was all digits. So did, so did Brock Bowers. Because of the, well, 32 yards. Three for 32. Wait, do you score then? Yeah. Okay. Yeah, yeah. Look, he's a part of the offense. No, he's playing more snaps than Brock Bowers. So I just think he's, he's a funny, we don't have a lot of like side tight ends in the history of fantasy football where you're like, you know.

44:14 ↗

Bowers is in every week's start, but then Michael Mayer's, like, relevant? Like, they don't have wide receivers at all. Correct. Beyond Trey Tucker. I don't even know. Who was the highest targeted guy outside of Trey Tucker at wide receiver last week? Cody White? Is that who I'm thinking of? Let's find out. I just think it's a funny offense. Because you also had Ian Thomas scored a touchdown and got a bunch of targets. Let's see. Tucker was eight. White with five. Yeah. Michael Mayer was 10 targets and then Ian Thomas was involved.

44:44 ↗

I also think Tyler Higby is worth mentioning. I know he was definitely someone that you have to play if Puka is out. Puka came back. And so it's like, we're not going to play him. He still had six targets. He was five for 67. This is a game environment. That's one of those 54.5 point over under games where Buffalo's going to go and score. They're going to be throwing a lot. And so Higby has been involved. And the fact that all of...

45:12 ↗

You know, it's funny because this was a team where it was like, they've got so many good tight ends, but I don't like them because there's so many. They all got injured. They're all gone. So Higby's kind of last man standing there. And so, you know, if you just want a piece of that game, he will cost you nothing. Defense is this week, my favorite, probably the Bengals against Miami. Jacksonville plays Philly. That's another amazing one. Jacksonville is the number four scoring.

45:37 ↗

fantasy defense at this juncture of the year. They're a good defense. And the Eagles are beat up. So I don't think you're at risk of a problem in that one. I don't think you're like the Eagles might fight and win, but you're not winning with 30 points. They're winning 17 to 14 or something. And then the Raiders play the Patriots and the Raiders have been one of the higher scoring offenses. It didn't happen last week against Kansas City. It just depends on which Drake May shows up.

46:04 ↗

Because if Drake May looks like he did last week, it's not a good matchup. If Drake May looks like he did to start the season, you know, wheels up. Do you want, would you risk that, the Drake May variable? Or would you look at the Cowboys against Tampa Bay, which is going to be Jalen Daniels again? Yeah, I think the Cowboys and the commanders' divisional opponents, you're targeting the quarterback. You're targeting the undrafted free agent rookie quarterback in the Tampa Bay matchup, or you're targeting James Winston.

46:33 ↗

Who, yeah, he might score on you, but you've got a lot of pick six opportunities. Yes, you do. I would much prefer the commanders to the Cowboys. I don't really want to put the Cowboys defense on my team. Yeah, I mean, the Cowboys defense is awful, obviously. Negative one in one the last two weeks, and I know who you're targeting there. So you could try to be opportunistic, but I'd like the commanders at home more. Sure. And then Cleveland plays the Jets, and the Jets are slow, and so points are slow.

47:03 ↗

And Cleveland's defense has been pretty good. Seven points, six points, nine points. That game is currently in the third quarter. Unfortunately, it won't finish before any of the other games. The Jets are ruining things. I mean, it really is like. You never looked up and saw them on offense. No, they never. They are just, they are. It's funny because it's like, you want to be like, oh, it's not a good defense. There's a great team to target. It's like, no, no, they're so slow that they are going to.

47:31 ↗

They're going to always look like a good defense somehow. I mean, you literally have to, my brain went to like, okay, you play this game and the bears have 89 plays and you have 35. And I start thinking to myself, like, that's basically like saying in the scale set by the Jets, the Bears got 12 quarters of football on offense and the Jets got four if the Jets set the scale for how a game goes. That's wild.

48:01 ↗

You're like, who's going to score more fantasy points? The team with 12 quarters or the team with four? Yeah, it works if you have a truly elite defense. But if your defense just allows them to pick up third down or an elite running game and have these long drives, it doesn't work for you. It's just funny. It's a funny story. That was the Waverwire presented by Team Mobile.

48:23 ↗

When you're updating your roster right before kickoff, you've got coverage that you can count on just another reason game days are better with T-Mobile. Check it out at T-Mobile.com slash membership. Let's talk quarterbacks. Full stream ahead. I think we'll let Mike go first here because he has the lowest rostered option by far on our streaming quarterback segment. I went to put him in the- Did you? Yeah, absolutely. He's a great start. All right, we'll jump in.

48:56 ↗

steel underpants. Jump into your steel underpants? Yeah. That could be painful. Yeah. From what I hear. All right. Doesn't really protect you. The parts you want protected are very exposed. It's Jacoby Brissette against Detroit. I don't love the fact that they just lost their left tackle. Being the Cardinals. Yeah. Yes, thank you. The Arizona Cardinals, but a 54.5 point over under the Detroit defense allowing over 300 passing yards per game.

49:25 ↗

Week one, Shuck Daddy, QB4, week two, Josh Allen, QB1. Check this out. Week three. Remember what was talking about the Jets and how terrible it was? Gino Smith was the quarterback three. Bryce Young, QB5. This is a defense that we can play anyone else against. Hey, where's the neat? Thank you. I really, Jacoby Brissette is just the weirdest. I think he's basically Winston.

49:54 ↗

Yeah, he's Winston, but he's a little bit more measured. Except for he had three picks last week. No, he still gets the interception, but he doesn't get the interceptions of just like, Malik neighbors is down there somewhere. I just, you know, 166 yards against the Giants, I just feel like you, he can throw it for 400 and he can just look terrible. But the important thing to know is the Cardinals will lose. Because he's got to keep his 2 and 14 record building. Yeah, but it's all.

50:20 ↗

It's all good. 304 pass yards per game, people. There are two quarterbacks that are heavily rostered but minimally started right now. One had a good week last week. One had a terrible week. I'll bring up the Matthew Stafford start. He was not good last week. They survived. And a miracle comeback at the end of that game. Thank you, Kyron Williams. That was the reason why. But here you go. Monday night football against the bills. Oh, that's so exciting.

50:48 ↗

54.5 over under. That's going to be so much fun to watch. So I think Stafford, if you have them on your bench, if he's been dropped, if he's dropped this week, which this is the one you look out for. When you have the bad week, people will move on to another quarterback. That's why I'm flagging it. He was only 49% started last week. It will be a lower number this week. I think you put him right back in there. Yeah, another player in the same boat who was dropped. He's heavily rostered, but all on new teams. Drake May was.

51:17 ↗

dropped in every league and then someone picked him up and probably had him on their bench when he went off this past week. I sure did. Exactly. I think the matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders at home. The defense has been good, but the office has been good. And I think that's the important part is that the Raiders are going to be able to score. And Drake May looked great last week. Patriots are still three and a half point home favorites. I'm willing to take that risk gamble and put them in there. I also like Jordan Love.

51:45 ↗

in the game environment against Chicago. However, just watch out. It's way too early to know wins, but it does look like it might be a little too windy in Lambo. So be on the lookout. I was just realizing that Stafford, so he's starting Monday night football, that will be right probably a few hours after I hit a hole in one. Yeah, I don't know if people really, we haven't talked about it in a while. No, the hole in one challenge, which I mean, not much of a challenge really. But it will be taking place next Monday.

52:13 ↗

So I don't know when Matt's going to have the video to you, but it's going to be a lot of editing. So it might take them a couple weeks. I, honest truth. Due to the hours of missing. I just don't want to be down there that long. So I figure out I need to make it sooner than because I don't want you guys to be stuck down at the course. You know what I mean? It's for you. Don't worry about me, man. I'm going to be having a great time. Oh, yeah. Mike and I are going to be really enjoying ourselves. Yeah.

52:39 ↗

It's going to be great. So I figure, I'm going to predict that I make the hole in one in about two hours. Okay. I'm going to predict you leave injured. Okay. How much time do I have, Matt? 12 hours. 12 hours. I'm going to predict you leave after 10 hours. No, eight hours. Monday night football. You give up after eight hours. Somebody can, while I'm, if I'm still going, which I'll probably be going for my second hole in one at this point. But you got somebody can hold a screen up for me. Is I going to watch the game?

53:09 ↗

Yeah, yeah, we got you. For sure. We'll figure it out. So that's finally happening. So that'll be super easy. All right. That'll do it for today's episode of the show. We'll be back tomorrow. Thursday night preview mailbag. We have a snap count episode or a segment tomorrow. Starts of the week on Thursday. And the week continues as we head into week five. Good luck with the fantasy teams.
