You talked about the fact you wouldn't be surprised that the bills found a way to win this game. Josh Gordon, he is out for New England. They've been struggling on offense. Rob Grankowski doesn't look exactly the same. He did not deliver last week. And you, look, you said Josh Allen and company might pull an upset here. Yeah, if it's a 13.5 point line and the game is a 44.5 point over under. Which makes it real easy for this to be Mike's almost upset of the week. Because 13 and a half points, yeah.

172 passagesI'll take them. You'll take the bills in 13 and a half. Yes. McCoy says he's playing, are you playing it? That's a different question, right? He says he's playing, but maybe you don't want to. The past six weeks, the Patriots are 23rd against the position, so the matchup is decents. Oh, man. Yeah, I would play him.
I would play him. I love Michael Keaton. Yeah, he's great. No, I think Shady or Michael Keaton? Both are, both are. Excellent. I'm speaking here of Shady. I think LaShawn McCoy is going to have a fine week. This has not been, you know, the office has changed a little bit with him out, and the Patriots are probably going to be scheming more around Josh Allen and trying to figure out how to cover the scrambling lanes.
And I think that might open things up for LaShawn McCoy. So the volume will be there. The matchup is not one that terrifies me. While I don't think he's got potential anymore for top 10 upside because the offense is not one that puts up a ton of points. And the points are from Josh Stallion. Yeah, the volume will be there for him to have, you know, a 15-point game. Oh, you were excellent. Excellent.
What about Robert Foster? 94 yards or more for four or five games. He seems to be the go-to target, but he's still a low-volume target, has to make the big play. He's got four-four speed. He looks great on the field. Do you play him over a shot at like Isaiah McKenzie? I assume you go Foster there. I would go Foster. The interesting question for me is what is Stefan Gilmore going to do? Who is he going to shadow? Foster.
Pro football focus is projecting him to shadow Zay Jones. Yeah, I wouldn't doubt that, actually. Which. Zay Jones still, I think is still the number one. And that opens things up for Robert Foster. Because if Gilmore is on Jones, Jones is eliminated from this game. You're telling me that Zay Jones doesn't have the ability to overcome a tough matchup? That's exactly what I'm talking right now. So Robert Foster is...
he's he's interesting as a nitro button for your flex i agree let me see where i have robert foster right now where do you guys have him i have uh he's still down the list yeah robert foster to me is the wider receiver 26 so that's great that's great he's my 26 as well well there you go all right how much confidence do you have in tom brady let me paint a little picture for you not much the bills have given up the fewest
Quarterback fantasy points over the last six weeks. Brady has been a QB1 once in the last seven weeks. In this game, Josh Stallion or Tom Brady? I'm taking a ride. Are you really? I'm taking a ride. You're darn right I am. In Foxborough, you're taking a ride on a stallion? Yes, I am. Wow. Okay. It's, there's just. That takes courage to throw the saddle on? So much happening for the New England page.
for the New England Patriots of their offense being mediocre. And look, the last time these teams play, because this is division, so it's the second game, the beginning of the fourth quarter, the score was 12 to 6. I know that Tom Brady somehow ended up with 324 passing yards, but no touchdowns. The score, when I talked about it, 12 to 6, those were all field goals. It's, I'm not playing Brady with any level of confidence.
If you look at the last four weeks, which happened to be the four weeks since the buy week when Josh Allen came back, he's the quarterback four, the quarterback two, the quarterback 15, and then the quarterback four. His worst performance. Now, the matchups haven't been that difficult. One of them was Jacksonville, where he was the number four, but he's been really, really, really solid. And if you compare that against Brady lately during the same stretch, yes, against Miami, he was the number one quarterback.
Did I not tell you that this... The other ones were 16, 16, and this last week, Brady finished 14. Well, yeah, he doesn't have the same floor that Josh Allen has. Two weeks ago, I talked about this. I said, heading into championship week, you will be talking about Josh Allen, and you will be trying to decide whether you play Josh Allen or one of the big names, and do you want a championship or do you want to go with a big name? To lose how you can handle it.
Right. Because that's the conversation a lot of times is I don't think I could handle benching Tom Brady and having him go off and losing. If you win with the stallion. It's excellent. I'm not playing Tom Brady. Okay. So what about his receiving weapons? Julian Edelman. He's been a top 12 wide out in BPR league. Edelman. I will play. Chris Hogan. Is he a desperation play? No.
No, I don't think you can trust. I mean, he's a desperation play by definition, but am I playing him? 65-yard touchdown last week, Mike. What else did he do? He caught another pass for 13 yards. Okay, so you're telling me you're going to count on the- But Josh Gordon, which, by the way, a follow-up to yesterday's news, he was officially suspended indefinitely. Well, he's on the commissioner's list. Well, he's, yes, which is the same. It's an indefinite deposit onto that list because he.
broke the terms of his conditional reinstatement. It wasn't, you know, he had terms. He had to. Yeah, we don't know what happened. We don't know the detail. But he's gone. He may never play another down in the NFL. But my point for Chris Hogan was, yeah, he had the 65-yard touchdown. But if you watch it, it's because that was a complete breakdown on the defense. I mean, no, no, no, no. It was. It was. The corner got confused. Right. But that was by design of the offense. They ran a trick play that worked.
So you can't really just be like, oh, the guy fell down. This was the offense manufacturing a wide open play for Chris Hogan. So look, exactly. It was a trick play. I will say this. I want to be on record. Fool me once. I will, I want to be on record. I would, and I'm curious, you're taking it because I don't think you answered it, but I would play Tom Brady over Josh Allen. We've had all this conversation. Yes. I have them at 14 and 16. I have Brady ahead of Allen as of right now.
I think it really is a matter of what you need for your team. I don't think Brady at home against the bills, I think you're going to get two touchdowns out of Tom Brady. But if you need something a little higher. Mike shaking his head. Mike doesn't like it. So this means I'm sure he's going to say yes to my water bet. What's the bet? Brady. Josh Allen head to head. Oh, heck yeah. Excellent. Water bet. We could have done.
You didn't need to have all the pageantry there. I said I would play him over Tom Brady. Well, you didn't say you would bet on it. Yeah, that's true. Sure. There are times when you're like, hey, I think it'll end up higher, but I'm not going to bet on it. But you are bold with your stallion. Yes. Okay, I think we've covered the major matchups in that one. The last question that I want to bring up is the running backs from New England because a lot of decisions to be made there and our listeners would not.
Let us off the hook if we ignored Sony Michelle James White and Rex Burkhead and what you do with them. A lot of people saying that James White's getting a big bump with Gordon. I don't see that being the case. I think it's possible. I just feel like there's such different roles. Of course they're different roles. If Edelman was out, I would see James White getting a huge bump up. I think it's just a matter of passing weapons. It's just a matter of how do you design an offense? You don't have the same options to design your offense without Josh Gordon.
And every three or four weeks, all of a sudden, James White gets every pass out of the backfield. Yeah, I'm not playing James White in this game. You're not? I'm not. No, I feel very, I mean, James White has just been so absent in these games. James White or Jordan Howard? Jordan Howard. Wow. Yeah, I agree with that. James White or Jalen Samuels. Jailen Samuels. Gus Edwards? Gus Edwards. James White or Kenyon Drake? Now we're talking.
Now there's a conversation happening. Wow. I don't think. This is what I will say. Rex Burkhead has been back for three games. And in those three games, James White has seen his snaps plummet to the 40%. James White or Walter White? Ooh, he's the one who knocks. Yeah, but who's going to answer? James White and then he's going to get punked. Okay. All right. Five and eight and one. Packers.
That's incredible. And we didn't talk about them because, yes, you still play grunk. Yeah. Okay. You just plug your nose while you do it. The 5-8-1 Packers take on the 4-10 Jets. The Jets are three-point underdogs at home. It's a 47 point over under. Hmm. Interesting. Very, very interesting. I'll just say that. I won't push any buttons. We've already got our almost upset with Tennessee and Washington.
But if I were going to push the button again, I might think about it right here. By the way, the Jets are one of the, I guess you'd call it lame duck teams. Very likely that they fire their head coach this offseason as well. It's already rumors of their next head coach. Yeah. Being this opponent's previous head coach. Yeah, Mike McCarthy being rumored to New York. Interesting.
Aaron Rogers, Jamal Williams. We talked about Jamal Williams earlier and the potential for him in this game, which I think is great. I mean, when you're a favorite, you're going up against a defense that is, you know, fine. And they're strong against the running back, actually number four in the past six weeks. But Jamal Williams will catch the ball. Yes, Jamal Williams is a full volume play. And he would be the only guy. Devante Adams, he's obviously in your lineup.
Do you think he ends up as a first-round pick next season? This year, 100 catches, 1,315 yards, 12 touchdowns, and the Jets are the worst in the league against Whiteout, so he'll continue this week. But is he a first-round pick for next year? 100%. I think he's a top. Who would you take over Adams at this point? At the wide receiver position? I would take Odell Beckham, if this is a start-of-draft. I mean, obviously not talking this week. Yeah, this is next year. Yeah, so I would take Odell Beckham.
I think Hopkins. Would you still take Antonio Brown? No. Over Devante Adams. I would not take Antonio Browns over Devante Adams. That pains me to say that. But would you do Smith-Schuster there. You don't even know that he's the number one on the team. I would love to have this. This is not shade on Antonio. But I view Devante Adams as in the conversation for the best wide receiver in fantasy football. He's the number two on the season right now. So him and Tyreek Hill and.
Hopkins and Julio and O'Dell Beckham, it's kind of all merging into one tier. Hopkins and Julio are the only two guys right now that I would consider over Adams. Not Hill? No. Not Tyree? He's amazing, but he has those games where he does flop. Even though he'll finish ahead of Adams on the year, most likely, Adams is just consistent. What's amazing about Adams is if they had an offense that was anywhere.
in the realm of good? Right. I mean, what kind of season does he put up? Does he put up a 16 touchdown year, a 20 touchdown year? He is just everything to that offense. And he did it with Brett Hundley. Don't forget, you know, when Aaron Rogers went down and you just, and that whole offense was trash. Devante Adams had double-digit touchdowns. All right. Last week, by the way, Jamal Williams had 97 and a touchdown on 87% of snaps.
Jamal, and in Battle of the Williams, here's a common start sit question for the week. Jamal Williams or Damian Williams? I'm definitely. I'm definitely going Jamal Williams in real life because we don't know the Spencerware situation. What about fake life? Pretend life. But our entire show is about fake life. No, my point is we're not going to know. I would be blown away if by the time that this game goes, we know Spencer Ware's ruled out.
or in. And if that situation is still murky, then I'm definitely going. It's not murky. Right now, I'm telling you, I'm looking into the future on Saturday. They say, oh, okay, Spencer, where's going to be out? Jamal or Damien? Damien for me. Yeah, I go with the guy who just put up 30 points. Yeah, I guess I would go Damien. I don't love the matchup on the road in Seattle, but I would go Damien. Yeah, I would go Damien as well. Any interest in other past catchers for the...
Favored peckers? No. Randolph-Marquez. He just, yeah, you don't know who it's going to be. Sam Darnold last week, 253 and 2. He has been a top five quarterback three times this year. Green Bay's allowed a quarterback one performance in four or five weeks. Is Sam Darnold a sneaky home play with Mr. Robbie Anderson?
