Those two players are both guys where, you know, probably owned, but you have to look because if they're there, you pick them up and you've got a starting caliber running back in the fantasy playoffs. Those type of moves when you champion. Right. And I'll be clear because Mike Davis and Peyton Barber, we're talking guys basically unowned. Yeah, Peyton Barber is who I'm hoping for. My number one running back, if all of these players are there, would be Rex Burkhead. He would be my number one claim. Over Drake? Over Drake for sure. Okay.

Since coming back, he's been the running back eight and points per game. Has Miami on Monday Night Football versus a guy like Drake has New England, obviously, so they're playing in the same game. Peyton Barber has Detroit. If he had the backfield all to himself, that would be nice. You're looking one week, aren't you, on these waiver pickups? No, not this. I'm looking multiple weeks here, hopefully. I mean, if you were actually needed a running back. And Burkhead.

Miami, Pittsburgh, which... Yeah, we just talked about it. We have to assume that they will be Shazir-less, and then Buffalo in championship week. So Burkhead is set up for a monster run. I will say this. You know, Andy's point of you're just looking for one week, right? No, you know, of course you're going to look at the whole slate of the playoffs, but I think Andy is actually correct to say, emphasize week one. So, for instance, I put Kenyon Drake...

Amir? I put Kenyon Drake ahead of Rex Burkhead. Thinking through this, what time of year it is, playoffs, I would flip that. I would put Burkhead over Drake because of the matchup of week one. The matchup in week one, look, I would hope to get a great schedule through the entire playoffs, but if we all know, if we lose in the playoffs for one week, we're out. That's the shame. That's the shame of it. But my point is,

At the end of this week, who else is going to be on waivers next week due to injury that you'll be able to pick up if your matchup wasn't as good. I might have a different number one. Oh, all right. Let's hear it. I think it's Matt Forte. Really? I think I'd rather have Matt Forte. With the cerebrous monster? There's three guys there that are all getting carries and all getting carries on the goal line. I like the reference. 15 carries for, yeah, I did too.

15 carries, and now I'm picturing all three of their heads on a big dog body. 15 for 58, 3 for 33 through the air, and this was his first game back, you know, to a fuller workload. I don't know. I'm right on the cusp. He plays Denver. That's why. Denver's 31st against the run over the last six weeks. They're a dumpster fire, and I think that it'd be right on the edge. Probably Burkhead, then Forte would be my pick.

Sure. I just don't think, Forte is the Mike Wallace of the running back position right now. Yeah, he's old. You don't really want to roll him out there. But he's been valuable. He gets the primary work. I mean, three out of the last four weeks, which were the only three weeks he played, he had double-digit carries. He's going to get the work, the opportunity. It's got two touchdowns over that stretch. Now, Judge, you wanted to talk about somebody. I just thought you guys might want to bring up Gio. You mentioned the mixing. Brooks, I was getting to it. Thank you.

Just want to make sure. But, yes, a great point by the judge. Where does Gio Bernard fit into this waiver week as, well, he's a, with, with Nixon dealing. Was it officially a concussion? Yes. Okay. It was ruled an official. He'll be in the protocol, most likely. Yeah. So, you know, Gio Varni Bernard goes and plays, I think he's at home this week against Chicago, which is a pretty good matchup.

If Gio is out there, I would rank him pretty much just behind all of the guys we just talked about. Really? I would be near the top. I would put him, he'd be near the top. All of the guys. It's going to be every down. That's the thing about Gio is he will be the only guy in the backfield. Well, the guys we just talked about.

I agree. Maybe you put him over Matt Forte, but Rex Burkhead, I'm definitely taking over Geo. Kenyon Drake is every down. He's, you know, the back there, and I prefer his talent. Mike Davis, I mean, he was on the field 70 plus percent of snaps this last week. So I think that's those three guys, at least, I would take ahead of Geo. That's fair. It's fine. I think it's preferential there, but do you, here's a question for you as a fantasy owner. Do you play?

sign as many as we can to keep them away from your opponent. Yeah, I definitely do. Yeah, if you've got the space, of course. Yeah, if you've got the space, this is the time of year. I would much rather have a steal away from an opponent than a decent wide receiver four on my bench that I maybe could start in another matchup. I would rather play to win the week. Now, if you're the Joe Mixon owner, you prioritize Geo. Absolutely.

And a couple names I just want to throw out if you're playing in just an absolute crazy league where it's going super deep. Tion Green, if you were watching the Detroit Lions game going, who the heck is that guy? And look, Andy and I, we are professional. I mean, we do this for a career. There was no sound. We were in New York watching at the event for the World Series of Fantasy. There was no sound on these games. And we just kept seeing number 38. And so I genuinely was like,

Who is that guy? Yeah, which also we should mention Theoretic as well, who was fantasy relevant because Amir Abdullah missed. But Tion Green, because Amir Abdullah was out, he was 11 for 51. He had a touchdown as well. He gets a matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Pretty juicy. Kerwin Williams took over for Adrian Peterson. He was running very well despite reportedly having cracked ribs. So those guys are interesting.

And if you're in a PPR league, guess who's back? Possibly. Andre Ellington, who was picked up by the Houston Texans. Five for 56. And he was forced into action because their wide receiver corps took multiple injuries. So he went into the slot. And he got six targets, five for 56, takes on San Francisco, which is, you know, it's a pretty solid matchup. But again, that's a monitor the situation of the health of guys like Bruce Ellington.

All right. At the tight-in position, we saw Cameron Bray, two touchdowns on two catches. And this is crucial here because Gromk owners, for sure. Yes. You don't have a tight end. Zach Ertz owners probably don't have Zach Ertz as he deals with his concussion problem. So this is a, this is going to be a crucial pickup here. Now, Bray is half-owned, pretty much. So you might not have them available. So what are some other options? I've talked about- I'm shocked that he's that owned still. Trey Burton. Yes.

Trey Burt, he's that owned still because there's not a lot of great tight ends. And last week when Winston was coming back, people jump back on. But Trey Burton, he's not owned in any league. He's going to be a waiver wire pickup with Earths out. I like him. Takes on the Rams. You have the Mad Hatter. No, the Mad Hatter is out. No, that's what I say. You have the Mad Hatter concussed once again. C.J. Fedorowitz.

Probably not going to play. Stephen Anderson was 5 for 79 and a touchdown on 12 targets. It plays against San Francisco. Hard to ignore that many targets. San Francisco is 28 against tight ends over the last few weeks. So I agree with you. Stephen Anderson looks good. Mr. Anderson. Mr. Anderson. I'll tell you what. There's a guy that I think I am willing to start now. Are you really? David and Joku? I really am also willing to start David and Joku. That's why I thought you were talking. Ricky Seals Jones.

Oh, come on. I am actually willing to start. He had another touchdown. You know, look, if the ball had been thrown better, he had another opportunity for a touchdown. He's, he's just, he's involved, he's involved down the field. He had 44 yards. He had five targets. He had important targets in the red zone. The target's the third game in a row where they, when Seals Jones comes in the game, you might be worried about, you know, okay, what about the snap percentage or whatnot, but.

When he's in, he's running routes and he's targeted. So I don't think you can just base it on snap percentages because he is being utilized as a downfield fantasy option, essentially. Other guys, I agree with that. But that's why it's so baffling about Seals Jones is the snap percentage.

We're still under 25% of offensive snaps, but he gets targets. It makes sense to me because he is a past catcher, former wide receiver, good hands, but wasn't with the team the entire year. He's not part of the offensive philosophy outside of route running. He's not going to be in there blocking. So that's, I mean, you saw Gresham. Gresham had targets in catches because he was on the field so often. I wouldn't start Seals Jones unless I was more desperate than, you know. So let me ask this. Would you start?

David and Joku against Green Bay, or would you start Ricky Seals Jones against Tennessee? Yeah, they're really close. They're really close. I know you like- In that situation. I know you like Gabbert this week. I do. I do as well. I would start Seals Jones in that situation. That's fine. But of then, I'll throw in Mr. Anderson. I'd start Anderson or Burton over both those guys. I would definitely start Burton over them. And Anderson, probably. There you go. I'm just disappointed.

I want Seals Jones to be a thing. I really, really want that to happen. You know what I want to be a thing, Mike? I want you to break down the defenses. And also one other name to throw out there, Jason Witten. He's own a lot, but he's playing New York. So if he's out there. Never heard of him. Never heard of Jason. New guy? Yeah, yeah, brand new for a rookie. Also, if you are happy, I don't, there's no way he's not available in a two quarterback, but just, it's very possible.

And 25% of league. So not very possible. Aaron Rogers is available. I've seen he's going to play. Lots of tweets of people picking him up right now. Barring a lost Cleveland this week, he's going to play. Well, I, you mean in week 15? In week 15, yes, in week 15. But I believe they have, they've designated him to return. He's eligible in week 15, but my point is this. It designated to return does not mean he's on the field if they're eliminated from playoff contention. Right. Fair point. We made this point on the show last week that.

It was likely they'd beat Tampa and they'd beat Cleveland. Therefore, the pathway to Rogers playing was right there. And it looks, it's heading that way. They'll probably beat Cleveland. Right. Great plays this week, in my opinion, the Bengals against Chicago against Mitchell, Trubisky, the Jets against Denver, and the bills will be taking on Indy, but this is also, you got to monitor. It could be Nathan Peterman. I was going to say Indy is taking on the bills. So if, in fact, Nathan Peterman is the quarterback, which I think at this point, I'm going to assume that Nathan Peterman will be playing this weekend. Well, defensive points aren't going to.

score against you in ESPN anymore. So if Peterman draws five pick six, it's not going to hurt your Buffalo D. But they have to go pick six. Yes.
