No. No, no, no, I wouldn't. Tyree Kill is my pick here. Okay. But if I was staring, I wouldn't, I wouldn't have taken D.K. Metcalfe over Tyree Kill either. But I'm just talking about the, the, the, the, the K. Metcalf versus Tyler Lockett decision. That's a really, really hard one to take because I think, you know, obviously you've got more.

122 passagestotal volume usually with Tyler Lockett, more receptions, more half PPR, full PPR points there. But then you've got just monstrous upside with D.K. Metcalf. And I didn't want to have to make the decision. So thank you. But I will take Tyree Kill here. Okay. For what it's worth, you know, top quarterbacks right now that you could be thinking about, you know, again, taking a quarterback early is all about can you guarantee production. But Russ and Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen have been delivering each and every week.
But it's not my pick. I'm going to go with Adam Thielen here. We're going to make it three wide receivers in a row. I don't have confidence in Matt Ryan right now moving forward. And that makes it difficult with Calvin Ridley. Obviously, a hyper-talented player has delivered for fantasy players this year, but it's a confidence issue. So I like Adam Thielen.
So a name that we haven't mentioned yet. Yeah, I'm sure we, hopefully we don't have any nasty omissions from this list since it's often tough. Yeah, it's tough, man. But in points per game, he's been fantastic, but he's also missed a couple games. That's where he mustered. Running back for San Francisco, he has been in the top, top 24, each of his three games. I don't know that I would draft him here, but he felt like a name that.
should be mentioned of if we're if we're going to forget about any of these Todd Gurley James Robinson yeah uh Julio Jones you know I mean there's names here that are yep what do you do yeah I'm so concerned about Julio Jones Jay what you were the one who was leading the charge of being concerned I guess we don't have a ton of new information but where where is your confidence level lying right now
After some time. You know, I fear that Dan Quinn is gone, I think they can do the right thing and let Julio rest, which is great news. I think you're hopefully going to miss Julio for a little while and then get him back strong the rest of the season. All right, Mike, you are on the clock. This is a tough call here. A few picks left here in the second round. Oh, man. I'm going to take Calvin Ridley right here. Hmm.
I believe in Calvin Ridley long term as well, and I'm nervous about Julio. I am between Jonathan Taylor and Tyler Lockett. Ooh, yeah. I love both of those players. I thought I was going to take Jonathan Taylor, but once I said the names out loud, I would take Tyler Lockett. He's been great. I assume he will continue to be great. And while I think Jonathan Taylor will get going as the season nears the playoffs,
We haven't seen it yet, and we've seen it with Lockett. So I will take Tyler Lockett. So a lot of wide receivers going right now. Now, I have a wide receiver I'd like to take, but I think the right pick is, I think the right pick is Jonathan Taylor. I need one of you guys to promise me you're going to take, uh, take Stefan Diggs with the last two picks. Otherwise, I can't make. Dude, that's on brand. And you got it for me? I got it. If Mike doesn't take them, you're going to take him. If goggles McBlanket chip is not on the.
on the board, then I will take Stefan Day. All right. I'll take Jonathan Taylor then. Rotate back to a running back. Two picks left in the second round. Cooper Cup. Robert Woods also haven't really been mentioned. Don't know if those are too early. Amari Cooper, who's been dominant but has a quarterback change. That's the problem. O'Dell Beckham. I mean, Beckham could be in consideration here. Mike Evans. Mike Evans. There's, yeah, like, wow, Mike Evans. Kenny Galaday. What do you like? Mike Evans. How.
disrespectful are we to him right now? Is he leading the league in touchdowns? He's got to be at least tied. And this is a heading back to the original draft board and just sticking with the guy because it hasn't happened so far, except for one week because he suffered an injury. But I would take George Kittle here.
I think George Kiddah will return to dominance and be the number two guy, number two tight end, an actual difference maker at the position, just like Kelsey. Yeah, I like that pick a lot. And then I'll take Stefan Diggs because I made a promise to a close friend of mine. Stefan Diggs has been unbelievable in terms of the targets, the role he plays in that offense. 16 targets last night, I believe. Yeah, and he's the go-to guy. Is it? Seriously, he hits 16? Yeah. Wow.
For what it's worth, last year, okay? Stefan Diggs last year had 94 total targets. Through five games, he has 51 targets. Holy crap, man. Yeah, baby. He is a great player and Josh Allen has made such tremendous strides as a passer. The improvement in Josh Allen's accuracy is something that I'm not trying to be hyperbolic here, but I don't think I've ever seen a player.
improve the way that I've, that Josh Allen has this year. Accuracy is one of those things that it can get a little bit better when you make the jump from college to the NFL. The pros come in. You always go up a couple points as you come in. They clean up your mechanics, but it looked like Josh Allen was going to be able to win games in the NFL, but it was not going to be a huge jump. We knew who he was as a passer. But his, when he's rolling out,
He's throwing across his body and throws that usually would have sailed or been spiked in the dirt. He is, he's hitting guys. I mean, I've. Yeah, to add to that. I cannot believe in it's like a hat tip to Josh Allen who is just blown away all expectations I have had for him as a player.
It's incredible. He was one of those players that he would throw an accurate pass, throw an accurate pass, and then be so wildly inaccurate. It was a consistency issue. And that's the type of player. I never see make that jump. Those people who show flashes but are so inconsistent, then, you know, and so kudos, it's been great. My Josh Allen, Stefan Diggs stack is very happy right now. Diggs is on pace for 163.
targets. Just to put some stats behind the praise of Josh Allen, he's jumped year to year, 59% he went 53, 59 last year, jumped to 69% pass for this year with a yards per attempt jump of 6.7 up to 8.4. So the accuracy's jumped 10%, yet the yards per attempt have gone up. So he's taking more downfield shots. Amazing. And a lot of this, you know,
Credit to Josh Allen, credit to Stefan Diggs, credit to the coaching staff, credit to the offensive line giving him the ability to stand there. I mean, I was just so impressed with them last night. It really came down to turnovers. This game would have been very close. Agreed. Very, very close. All right, that does it for our fantasy draft redo. Judge Giamati, any glaring omissions from that list? Anything you were just kind of discouraged by our decisions with? No, I don't think so. No.
Yeah, I mean, the names that, you know, Mike Evans, Julio Jones surprised, you know, that they're not in those top two rounds. But would you really take Julio over Stefan Diggs right now? In a draft. No, I would. No, I would not. Yeah, that's, I mean, interesting. And I didn't. Now, let me ask you this. We're not drafting through the third round. And I didn't. But does a quarterback belong in the third round? No. There are so many great.
players here. I mean, a whole tier of wide receivers that, you know, are huge difference makers. You know, A.J. Brown, Cooper Cup, Robert Woods, Robbie Anderson, O'Dell Beckham, Terry McLaurin. There's, there are so Keenan Allen. Even if I am, even if I imbued Russ and, and Mahomes with the exact stats they have now for the remainder of the year. Well, no. No, I mean, if you guaranteed me that what Russ has done will not stop.
he for the rest of the year then yes then yeah you would take that but the reality is i mean if you look at what russ did the beginning of last season was unfathomable and people were you know i was dancing on mike's grave because i was pro russ and he was well right because you know it's like he was still alive but i was you forced them in there i got you with the zombie hand though that's true and i didn't fully get out of the grave but i zombie handed but the homes we've seen it for years and years and he's sitting
here doing what he's done well he's not doing what he got famous for in the 50 plus touchdown season where he scorch the earth he is he's having a great year he is having a great multiple number one finishes yeah but i i don't think he is having you know the year we saw what was that 2018 i think it was 2018 where he was he was a gargantuan difference maker i mean the difference last year between lamart 42
The difference last year between Lamar Jackson and the number two was humongous. The difference of year prior between Pat Mahomes and the number two was humongous. The difference this year between Pat Mahomes and Russell Wilson or Josh Allen or those guys is, it's not really. But it's predictability, right? Sure. With a player like Mahomes who's done it multiple years. I'm just bringing it up because I think he belongs in the late third as the first quarterback off the board. Above an Allen, above a Russell Wilson. He would certainly be my first quarterback, yes. You watched through.
a lot of Hollywood Brown tape the other day. I noticed. And do you have any takeaways from that film study on what's going on with Lamar Jackson? He's not playing well as a pastor. I mean, the reality is you want to talk about accuracy and consistency. That's what I mean, like, is it a team problem or is this?
Does it look like this is just a Lamar Jackson problem? Yeah, I think it's 100% of Lamar Jackson problem. Overthrowing him, underthrowing him. It wasn't even consistent in how he was missing him. The targets are there. The air yards are there. But the completions aren't there because... But let me tell you the stats behind that. Because when we were looking at the Josh Allen numbers, I looked up the Lamar Jackson numbers. Because I was expecting to be able to say, here's what Josh Allen did and here's the step back that Lamar Jackson's taken. It's not there in the stats.
He was a 66% pastor last year. He was a 64% passer this year. His yards per attempt have not changed. So the numbers, maybe the volume has changed to support those. Obviously, if you pass for 300 yards at 64% versus passing for 150 yards at 64%. The production is a lot different for the wide receivers. But I expected to see...
a statistical backup of what we've seen on the field with the bad decisions or with air mailing his players. And I didn't see that. I will say the last three weeks, Lamar Jackson is completing 56% of his past. So it's been worse of late. Yes. The reason he's has 64% is he had the two great games. All right. That adds up then. Yeah. So I don't, damn, man, I don't know what's going on. Okay. All right. I mean, I will say this. He's rolling out.
He's making the right read. I mean, I watched, you know, all the Hollywood, and he's finding him when he should. He's just not hitting him. So I think it's entirely on Lamar Jackson, which, you know, if he corrects that and just starts hitting his guys, I think the offense will be clicking. They're still winning. Oh, yeah, sure. That defense is so good. The defense is great. The running game hasn't been as good as last year. Mark Andrews has been great because,
you know, higher value. You know he's going to go to him around the goal line. All right. That's going to wrap it up for today.
