Week 4 Studs & Stinkers + Weekly Rewind, Bounce Back Bobby

He's just so big and strong out there. So you've got to keep an eye on him, but I still can't imagine. His snaps have to go up. Putting him in the lineup. He still has not played a single game with over 50% of the offensive snaps for the Tennessee Titans. Now, there are wide receivers out there if you're at a fast-paced offense that you can get away with this. But with the way that the Titans offense generally works, yes, he's going to do this. He can give you a big play.

but until he entrenched himself as a full-time wide receiver in this offense, then I'm perfectly fine missing out on these big games. Yeah, and I, you know, this show I want to tell you what I'm doing in my leagues, and I'm not going after AJ Brown. I'm letting somebody else pick him up off the waiver wire. Buffalo, Denver, the Chargers. Yeah, no thank you. No. Unfortunately. A bet on Brown is a bet on Mariotta, and that is a bet I am not willing to make. I'm sorry, Tennessee fans. You're playing well. Yeah. This was a good game.

You deserve credit for the win. Go win some more games with your defense. Devante Adams, Robert Woods. Woods was 13 for 164 on 15 targets. Bobby Woods. This is a game they had to throw and throw and throw. And Robert Woods was the leading receiver on this team. Although Cooper Cup had 9 for 121 and 1 on 15 targets. Both had 15 targets. So nice bounce back game for Bobby. Can we just get Jared Gough to throw the ball?

68 times a week. Do we want that, though? Because they lost. My fantasy team does. I don't care if they win. I don't care. We're Cardinals fans. Good. Take that, Rams. Throw the ball. Boost up my fantasy team. Jarvis Landry went 8 for 167. Odell Beckham Jr. didn't really do anything. Landry, what are you doing based on this performance? Man, I, you know, I think he's a hold.

You know, you roster him. I certainly, you know, it's hard to start him, though. I mean, this is a guy that, you know, through the first three weeks, you know, you're talking four receptions, three receptions, three receptions. You're not, you were not happy with Jarvis Landry. Now you have this breakout game, and I think that you, I think you want to hold him and wait to see.

this happened again. It's not that you can't start him. He had 60 yards week one, 60 yards week three, so he's not trashing you, but I still don't believe that this, I mean, look, you just said it, right? Odell Beckham disappearing act. He was not utilized in this game. Do you expect that to be what happens going forward? No. Odell Beckham is going to be the one. Jarvis is going to be the two like he was through the first three weeks, but you have to hold him just to see if maybe there's more to this.

Kenny Gallaudet, two touchdowns. Cortland Sutton two touchdowns this week. Where's your temperature on Cortland Sutton? You've been the most opposed to him on the season. He is now the wide receiver 14 and a half point PPR. If they have to keep throwing the football, I mean, they're an 0 and 14. And Sutton's definitely been contributing.

in a big way. I mean, Emmanuel Sanders, Cortland Sutton, I think Sanders led in yardage again. Sutton had the two touchdowns on nine targets. It's clearly those two players for Joe Flacco. So they have Los Angeles, Tennessee over the next two weeks. So I'm probably not competing for him on the waiver wire, but I imagine a lot of people will be this week. Yeah, I mean, he's on pace right now for 88 receptions, 12, 24 targets. He's having a really solid yards. Definitely. And the thing is is,

This was who he was drafted to be. This isn't some rando guy that's popping up, having a good strong first. It's not Tim Patrick's. Yeah, exactly. Having a strong first quarter of the season. This was a first round draft pick who was supposed to be. Second. Did he fall to the second? I thought so. Wow. Well, he was a first round hyped up wide receiver that fell to the second round. He was supposed to be great. And he looks like he's taking that second year wide receiver leap. Yeah, seven receptions four, five, six.

Still a bet on, you know, a bet on Cortland Sutton rest of the season is a bet on Joe Flacko. So he's certainly performing so far. Deserves credit. Austin Hooper, Ricky Seals Jones, Jimmy Graham, Will Deasley. Ricky Seals Jones back from the dead. And he was open frequently. He looked good. Three for 82 and a touchdown on three targets. Makes me sad for what Injoku might have been. Sure.

Sure, that makes sense. But it's nice to see Baker utilize him. If you want Baker to be streamable, you've got to have more weapons than, you know, than he has had. So Ricky Seals Jones stepping in admirably. I am not chasing Ricky Seals Jones. Austin, Hoover, 9 for 130 on 11 targets. He's on pace for 112 catches, guys. Wow. Is that a level up? Are we seeing that? Because last year you had...

a pretty consistent, impressive year, joked about him preseason, being a top 10 guy, being the new Jason Witten of his generation. How could this happen? How could this possibly keep happening if you have, like you've got Julio, you have Calvin Ridley, you have Mohamed Sanu. How could you possibly have enough targets to continue to go to him? But he was the tight-in six week one, the tight-in two last week, and now he has 11 targets. I mean...

He's a top five tight in right now for fantasy football, and he's had nine receptions in two of four games. You've got to start believing. It was also my start of the week. Yeah, it was a good start. The Falcons are worse than I thought they would be. Well, then maybe this is a result of offensive line issues, because that is well. If you can't stay in the pocket, wait for downfield routes for Calvin Ridley and Julio Jones to develop.

Austin Hooper has to be your escape veil. Look at Derek Carr when he's under pressure. Look at Baker Mayfield when he's under pressure finding Ricky Seals Jones this week. If you don't have time to let downfield routes develop, you've got to find Austin Hooper and he's very reliable. It is a really good point, Andy, because Matt Ryan has been getting crushed. I mean, it feels like every drive there's two or three monster hits he's taken. That office of line is Garbaggio.

Austin Hooper, this is a friendly reminder in two weeks. He will be the fantasy footballer start of the week because he will be playing Arizona. I looked ahead to George Kittles' schedule and he has a three weeks span where he faces Arizona two times. He goes, Arizona is somebody else than Arizona. And George Kittles probably like, when is that? It's towards the end of the year. Oh, playoffs. Better go trade for George Kittle. I mean, those are the games. League winner. He's inviting his family, his friends.

Everybody you knew in high school. Come to these two games. You know, as a local person, we did get the email the home game here. They're doing George Kittle bobbleheads. Just for in Arizona. Right. In Arizona, they're going to be handing out a thousand George Kemp, just because they know what he's going to do. Seeing it firsthand, Will Disley being open on every play. They pooped in their big boy pants this week. Let me know if you're panicking on any of these guys, but Tom Brady. No, he played the bills.

Played the bills, 18 for 39. And he plays the Giants next week. In two weeks. He plays Washington next week. Even better. Dak Prescott. I will call this a blip. I will not call it a blip. I will call it an important reminder that he's played very, very soft defenses. He has to play the Packers this week.

He has to play the Jets in New York. He has to play Philadelphia. So I don't think you're going to get the same. Okay, that's a fair point. Harkening back to the schedule is a fair point. I'm not saying that. But I'm not super worried about the Jets and the Eagles. I would be worried about him traveling there and then the divisional game more than he wasn't. I mean, he played my, who'd he play in the first three weeks? The Giants, Washington, and Miami. Yeah, so you have to have some. I mean, we brought this up on the show.

It was a smooth road for Dak Prescott. It's not saying bench him. It's just saying you don't want to lock him in to a all-time starter with three games against those defenses. And he's got no Michael Gallup right now. Jason Witten led the team in receiving yesterday. So that, you know, Randokov looks over the hill.

Just something to pay attention to. For four years. Deshawn Watson. Fantasy owners, you don't have an option with Watson. You've got to keep playing him, but this was another bad performance. Same problem as Matt Ryan right now. He's on pace to be sacked 72 times, which would be the second most in all time. Where was this last week, Deshaun Watson? When my team played you and put up 166 points that I lost. To be fair.

it was most of the game. Yeah, I mean, they're having some real problems here. I know they got the Laramie Tunsell in there, but this offensive line is terrible. And Deshaun Watson took this hard. He was out four hours after the game. He was still on the field at NRG Stadium practicing. He is wanting to get these things fixed. This is a blip. All right. Daniel Jones had a rough one, 23 for 31. That looks good. But he had two picks.

One touchdown. It was an okay game at best. I mean, he had 33 rushing yards as well. It was okay. Where did he finish on the week, though, Mike? He's got to be outside the top 12. I can find that. Give me just a moment. Some people flex, Daniel Jones. He's got Minnesota, New England coming up. It's not. Quarterback 18 so far. Yeah, he's outside of my streaming possibilities for the upcoming week, without question.

Is that different for you guys? No, against Minnesota. That's not a match. And then New England. So are you willing to drop Daniel Jones? Yes. You've got to. Yeah, I would not. You don't need to roster him for the hope that in three weeks he gets to play Arizona. I guess that's a reality. Philip Lindsay and Royce Freeman once again split work. It wasn't pretty for either of them. What do you do with those two guys moving forward? Man. What would you do with your team? It, I still think that Philip Lindsay is an R.B.

Fringe RB2, RB3 weekly. It was against Jacksonville. Next week against the Chargers, it's not as difficult. Unfortunately, right after that, they follow up with the Tennessee Titans. So he's a fine depth piece, but hopefully at this point, like if you're relying on Philip Lindsay to be your RB2 right now, you should start making some moves. Would you rather have Philip Lindsay?

who has been single digits in three or four weeks so far, but had a monstrous week three, right? Roy's Freeman went down, but he blew up on Green Bay. Or would you rather have David Montgomery rest of season? Who would you rather have between those two? Yeah, I would rather have Montgomery. He's had a tough stretch of games, but you've seen the carry count, the total opportunities, including targets, go up. I think David Montgomery is going to continue to get better and better as the season goes along.

Lindsay and Freeman will just have their good games and be mostly disappointing. 26 opportunities. So 21 carries and five targets for David Mopportunity. Things have gone up, generally speaking, every week. They're going to have to lean on him more now. Right. With Chase Daniels as the quarterback. And just strategically what the offense wants to do.

I imagine that they're going to lean on the running game in their defense to win games without Mitch Trubisky. Maybe what they needed to do with Mitch Trubisky. But nevertheless, I think it forces Montgomery into another prove it opportunity. And he's been double digits, although not spectacular at any point. Sure. I mean, I think now they can rely on their passing game a little more, but you know, tomato tomato. Oh, man. Take that, Mitch Trubisky. He's such a, so mean. Mitch, Mitchell Trubisky was mean to me last year.

When I said he was never going to be a great quarterback and I lamb-based at him and then he went out and threw six touchdowns. That was so rude. You're mad at Trubisky for being mean to you. Yes. But he was only mean. By being great. But he was only mean because Jason instigated everything by being mean to him. You did start it. If he was here, he would say he started it. Now, in fairness, he started it by being so bad. So there's that part of it. Sorry, Bears fans. Or.

Congratulations. All right, we need direction here, guys. Sony Michelle was the only running back in New England to get any semblance of carries in this game. He had 17 of them for 63 yards against Buffalo, and they have a very nice schedule. Washington and New York the next two weeks. Rex Burkhead did not get any carries on the ground, had one target. He was banged up coming into the game. What do you make of this? He was vultured by Brandon Bolden on the four-yard line.
