where Kenneth Walker, Ken Walker now, is not being drafted ahead. And Foot Clan, listen, this is important and big news. I mean, Bob Condata is a great beat reporter for the Seahawks, and he's saying he's by far the number one running back in Seattle. And the reason, and it's important that you understand, the reason he's saying that is because he is. Yeah, they brought him back from a free agent, and he was an unrestricted free agent.

Do you remember? And they brought him back. In 2018, the Seattle Seahawks, the same team, the same coach, they drafted in the first round, a really talented running back named Rashad Penny. And everyone was hot and bothered because he was a first round running back. And you might think, well, he missed some time. Up through week 14, Rashad Penny did not miss a game, his rookie year. But he was a rookie during that stretch.

So that's, you know, 14 weeks. I think they had their by week in their 13 games. In 13 games, he had 81 carries. But the incumbent, Chris Carson, missed two games and had 171 carries. They're not giving the ball to the rookie to take over this team. That's just not going to happen. That's not Pete Carroll. And I think that Rashad Penny is going to, I mean, the offense is. Until slash, unless he is hurt. He will be the guy, four out of five weeks in the top 10 to in the year last year.

Yeah, he's a really good running back that has not been able to stay healthy, but he is the one. He is the running back one. He will get first dibs. And you're right. Obviously, maybe people are drafting Ken Walker because they're like, well, Penny's not going to be able to stay healthy. And as soon as that happens, then you'll have the backfield to yourself. If that's truly what you believe and you want to try to call your shot on injury, go right ahead. I am not going to do that. I'm going to take.

I'm going to die on microphone right here. We put the plastic back in. It's actually lodged in Jason's throat. Yeah. I wanted to make sure that I could always sound terrible. Yeah, I'm going to draft the guy who is currently healthy, who is the number one running back for the team, who is being drafted later in draft. And it seems foolish to do it otherwise. And this team has shown.

You know, I don't know which of these guys are still on the depth chart because I don't have the current one in front of me. But, you know, Travis Homer, DJ Dallas, are those two guys still on the roster there, Kyle? Do you know off the top of your head? I'll look at it. I'll look it up. I mean, they have used a myriad of other options. Like, you could be very disappointed in Ken Walker in redraft leagues this year. Yeah. He's a great dynasty play. The Rashad Penny deals a year.

But you could be complete, you could have a guy on your roster where you, it plays out like this. You draft them ahead of Rashad Penny against what we tell you to do. You have them on your roster and you go, I'm getting no points on my bench from Ken Walker over the first six, seven weeks. You drop him. Yeah. And then maybe he's relevant later. Well, sure, maybe that's when Rashad Penny. Maybe Rashad Penny goes down in week 10. Are you going to hold on to Ken Walker?

for that week 11 chance? No, you're going to pick him up off of waivers. Are you taking Damien Pierce in Houston under the promise that he may have that role on a team that you don't like? Or are you taking Ken Walker in the promise that, you know. If they both cost the same, I would take Walker because of the talent and draft capital.

But they don't cost the same. Kenneth Walker is being drafted in the top 30 running backs right now. Yeah. So, yeah, Travis Homer and DJ Dallas both still on the roster. Chris Carson technically still on the roster, even though we may or may not see him. Like we forget. But if for some reason he plays, you think they're going to give the ball to Ken Walker over Chris Carson, if Carson can play? If Carson is active, and I don't expect him to ever take another NFL snap. But Pete Carroll is such a loyal type of guy that when he brings his guys back, he will.

make sure that if Chris Carson works his way back to health and is active, he'll get the ball probably over a shot penny. All right. One more piece of news here. The athletics. Ben Standig writes that Brian Robinson could be the answer for Washington in short yardage and goal line situations. So again, this is very, this is not coming from, you know, anything we've seen yet on the field, but it's one of the red flags.

that exists for Antonio Gibson is the team's investment of Brian Robinson. Yeah, I mean, he brings up in... Fourth-round rookie Brian Robinson, Jr. Was he fourth? I thought he might have been third. Maybe I was wrong. But the article brings up the fact that Antonio Gibson, who has struggled so much with his fumbling problems, and the fact that you go out and you draft a guy who is known for the exact opposite,

This will be an interesting camp battle to watch. Antonio Gibson has been someone in the drafts that I've been doing that I, man, every time I see him dropping to value, I'm like, this is a guy who's- He was third round, by the way. Yeah, that's what I thought. You're so smart, Jason. Thank you, Kyle. You are so wise to say that. It may or may not have been Kyle that's at fourth round originally. Oh, man. I do, you know. Yeah, so I, Antonio Gibson has always been good for fantasies, you know.

been top 12 the last two years and he's dropping so he could be a value. But if he fumbles. Well, the funny thing was this whole big salad discussion about Sean Drone, having that player on your roster that just kind of gives you, you know, the Clinton Portis of old, right? Where you just, you lock him in your lineup and you get your 10 to 14 points and you just feel comfortable there eating your vegetables. The first player that popped into my head for that was Antonio Gibson.

because he has had the opportunity to, you know, to get into the end zone. And despite all of the kind of red flags, I was like, oh, Gibson kind of fits that mold. But if by some chance those touchdown opportunities go down and you are losing third down to a newly re-signed J.D. McKissick, who just went back to the team for that role, it's a red, it's worrisome. No, this, if he's a big salad, there are a ton of seeds and nuts in this salad and you have a gallbladder issue.

This is a very dangerous salad for you to eat. So with the gallbladder, you don't want seeds? You can't always break those down. Really? Yeah. So, but Clyde Edwards Allaire is in good shape for that. Yes. Yeah, because it doesn't even matter anymore. Just, I mean, point of, do you do you enjoy like a nut salad? Do you like? Candid walnuts. Do you like candy walnuts? Candid walnuts and a salad are very good. Yeah? Yeah, you enjoy that?

Well, I mean, it sounds hilarious to answer it, but we'll find out. I mean, I think it's about your confidence level and what Tyreek will be. The majority of opinion out there is that he won't be what he was and he won't be able to be what he was. I do think there's still a chance he is going to do what he's done very similarly from a statistical output in Miami. Maybe that's 10%, maybe that's 15%. But I think there's a chance of that, but I have no problem with this trade. If you needed a running back and you trade Tyreek in the 201 for Echler,

It doesn't bother me. Yeah, I don't have a problem with it. I certainly value Austin Echler this year worth that. But when you're talking about the 201, the rookie pick, you're talking about a dynasty league. And while Tyree Kill is older than Austin Echler,

Not in like positional age, right? Tyree Kill is 28 years old. Just signed a massive contract with the Dolphins. He's got another three years left, no problem. Austin Echler being, you know, undersized for a high workload running back. He's going to soon get to the age where I believe that the Chargers next year will have to address the position. And they cannot rely on him to be a guy that's going to touch the ball.

you know, 250 plus times and be a goal line back next, you know, the following season, the following season, the following season. So I think you've got a shorter shelf life in Dynasty with Austin Ackler. Is your, yeah, I mean, is your risk of outcomes, though, more vast in the immediate term with Tyree kill? Like, where do you think Tyree kill could finish? What's the range? Like the highest and the lowest that you think Tyree could finish in Miami? I think highest. Could he be outside the top 20?

I think that is possible. Okay. I have him ranked right now as my wide receiver 10. I think a low-end wide receiver 2 would be his worst possible outcome, you know, injuries aside. I do think his upside is still probably, you know, wide receiver 5 or 6 this season. He's obviously hyper-talented. They paid him a lot. They're going to target him a lot. It's just a matter of how much you believe in Tua.

So he's got a pretty wide range of outcomes. Austin Echler is going to be a top 10 running back for sure this year, barring injury. But the long-term outlook probably better for Tyreek than it is for Austin Echler. And then you're adding another pick. So I'm fine with it either way, but I would probably in a vacuum take the Tyreek and the 201. All right. Chino, Eric 12 says, if I don't take a running back in the first two rounds, is that a bad strategy? It's a great question to have. It's not.

necessarily a bad strategy to take no running backs of the first two rounds, but it very easily can turn you to a place that is a bad strategy. Historically, over the last several years, there's a running back dead zone. If you're unfamiliar with the running back dead zone, it's running backs that are drafted, I think really between rounds four and seven, some people say three through six. Those running backs,

have tended to be horrible draft picks for fantasy. And the reason why makes complete sense. Running backs start to go away and you look at which running backs are left. And so you're worried that you're not going to get one when you're in rounds three, four, five, six later in the draft. And so you overdraft these running backs that really aren't that good because they're kind of all that's left. And so what happens there is your...
